But even if they did the game is unplayable because Final Fantasy Mobile was shut down in 2018 and with it the infrastructure needed to switch between episodes. |

Hajime Tabata voiced an interest in remaking the game for the Nintendo 3DS but it didn't happened due to Tabata having left Square Enix in 2019. In 2021, ''Before Crisis'' was finally slated for a western release as part of the ''Ever Crisis'' mobile game. |
