3	* [[StrangerInAFamiliarLand This feeling of disconnection Barry and Oliver cannot help but have when they come back at Starling and Central]], with Oliver bitterly missing the opportunities passed by and Barry musing his former bedroom doesn't fit him anymore because it's a ''kid'''s room.
4	* When Barry flat-out rejects the tempting prospect of saving his mother, he explains she's going to die no matter what, be it from illness or accident or old age. All that he would gain from screwing history is more time with her, and it will ''never'' be enough so he has to let her go. Even if he's tearing over it.
5	* Malcolm Merlyn's relationship with Oliver takes a turn for the tragic with TheReveal that in this timeline, ''Oliver'' was the byproduct of Moira's affair, meaning Malcolm utterly ruined his son's life. He would like nothing more than tell the truth, but the Queens rightfully forbade him to do so. And don't forget his subtle fear when Oliver decides he wants to help rehabilitating the Glades -- the same project Malcom's beloved wife wanted to accomplish, and it led to her death.
6	* Since he was SparedByTheAdaptation, poor Tommy has to live with the fact that his father engineered a mass-murder in the name of revenge. Even more so as his friendship with Oliver and Laurel eventually ends and learning about the death of Isabel, not knowing she was stringing him along.
7	** Similarly, as badass as it is that Tommy of all people manages to kill Talia al Ghul, it's still tragic that Malcolm continues to manipulate him to do whatever he wants (even if only by telling the truth) and that there's no way Tommy will be able to walk away from this.
8	* Black Siren's interactions with Earth-1's Quentin, Dinah Lance, Sara and Oliver. She's constantly reminding herself they're not ''her'' loved ones, but at the same they ''are'' her parents, her sister, her boyfriend and she just misses them, she just wants a bit more time with them, just that once.
9	* Jay Garrick's fate at Zoom's hands; since Zoom didn't figure out the Flash's secret identity for a long time, he captured Jay instead:
10	** He stole Jay's SuperSpeed, and tortured him to test the speedster's HealingFactor.
11	** He healed Jay's injuries and fed him... and when Jay was back to health, Zoom murdered him.
12	** To make things worse, Zoom recorded all the process in video. And showed the recently captured Barry the video, knowing Jay Garrick is Earth-3 counterpart of Henry Allen.
13	* After Eddie wakes up from his nine month coma, his father ambushes him with paparazzi outside of the hospital to announce that he will be making an appearance at a gala for coma patients like him. After Barry, Ralph, Iris, and Joe all work together to get him out of there, Eddie asks Barry if his parents ''ever'' visited him while he was out, and Barry has to sadly confirm that, if they ever did, they never made their presence known. Eddie can only mumble "oh" in response.
14	--> There wasn't any sorrow in his tone. But he didn't sound particularly surprised.
15	* As Tommy goes back to Starling City to further his father's machinations, he somberly muses that no matter the affective or familial bond, no matter how much the man repents and tries to make amends, Oliver will ''never'' forgive Malcolm for sinking the ''Gambit'' and destroying his life. And that's without knowing all the fine print.
16	* When Kara and Kal discover that Argo City survived Krypton's destruction, they travel there and discover that Kara's mother/Kal's aunt Alura is still alive. However, the joyful reunion ends when Alura learns that Reign is active on Earth and tries to force Kara to stay, willing to leave Earth to be destroyed even when her daughter refuses to abandon her new family and friends. Ultimately, Kara has to face that [[YouCantGoHomeAgain she will never be able to truly return home]] as her mother simply cannot understand what drives her no matter how much Alura loves her.
