Connor seemed to genuinely [[IntergenerationalFriendship befriend SCP-1836 over their similar backstories]] to the point where in the short span of time they spent together he learned some crude Inuktitut. And then she's gone, all the instances of SCP-1836-1 are dead, and all that's left is to pass on what he learned from her and bunker down for a long depressing trip home.

16	* Connor recounts that, as a child, he ''finally'' got a friend in the form of a psychic octopus named Gilbert. Unfortunately, Gilbert's "mom" (aka SCP-2967) ''really'' didn't approve, and sent Connor running with a psychic attack when he went to go meet them. He and Gilbert never saw each other again.

19	* It's hard not to feel a bit bad for Annie, as she had been accosted by SCP-1879, lost an arm, and then gets murdered by him in retaliation for her [[DyingMomentOfAwesome kicking his eyeball out to shut up his taunting]]. Not helped by the fact that she's stated to be a widow, and her picture taken by the Desire Camera establishes that her greatest desire is to see her husband and child again.
