7
8The 28th and 29th seasons of the long-running ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise, [[{{Frankenslation}} adapting footage from]] ''Series/KishiryuSentaiRyusoulger'', succeeding ''Series/PowerRangersBeastMorphers'' in 2021. Announced by Creator/{{Hasbro}} to be at the 2020 Toy Fair on February 22th, 2020.
9
1065 million years ago, the Knights of Rafkon fought against the Sporix, evil parasitic beings that destroyed their homeworld. Taking the fight to Earth, the Knights teamed up with the dinosaurs and were granted the ability to morph into the Dino Fury Power Rangers thanks to the Morphing Masters. They managed to defeat and detain the Sporix, but all but one Knight fell during the battle. In the present day, the last Knight of Rafkon, Zayto, awakens to find that the mysterious Void Knight is after the Sporix for his own purposes. Joined by new friends, Zayto begins his mission once again, protecting the Earth against the Sporix while recollecting them before Void Knight does.

12''Dino Fury'' marks a big transitional phase for Power Rangers. This was the last season to be aired on Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} as their contract with Hasbro expired in 2021 and the latter decided not to renew it. While the first season aired all its episodes on Nickelodeon till the end of the year, the second season was moved to Netflix as an original series on the streaming platform. Because of this, ''Dino Fury'' is the final season of ''Power Rangers'' to be aired on traditional television, although some international broadcasters have premiered episodes of the show ahead of the streaming platform.
13
14A direct sequel, ''Series/PowerRangersCosmicFury'' was released in 2023, retaining the same cast as before.
15
16!!Common Power Rangers Tropes
17* CallingYourAttacks: Every Dino Fury Key the rangers use seemingly requires its effect to be called out before equipping the armor.
18** Villain general Slyther, being one for theatrics, makes an active effort to call out nearly ''all'' of his actions, be it blocking, dodging, slashing, or just-as-commonly, teleporting away.
19* CityOfAdventure: Pine Ridge. Since all the Sporix were released into the city, it is up to the Rangers to find them first before they either hatch into Sporix Beasts or Void Knight takes them.
20* CombiningMecha:
21** The T-Rex Champion Zord combines with the Tricera Blade Zord and the Ankylo Hammer Zord to create the Dino Fury Megazord. Then that combines with the Tiger Claw Zord and Stego Spike Zord to create the Dino Fury Megazord: Warrior Formation.
22** The Mosa Razor and Dimetro Blazing Zords can combine into the Electro Zord.
23** The T-Rex Champion Zord can later combine with the Electro Zord to become the Fusion Ultrazord, the Ptera Freeze Zord to become the Ptera Rex Zord or (with the Pacha Smash Zords) the Ptera Smash Ultrazord, or both Mosa and Ptera Zords to become the Primal Ultrazord.
24* FiveManBand: Zayto is the first, being the only survivor of the Rafkon team, Amelia and Ollie join in episode 1, and Izzy and Javi show up in episode 4.
25* LeaderFormsTheHead: Played with. On the one hand, the T-Rex Champion Zord makes up a disproportionate amount of the basic Megazord formation. On the other hand, all five rangers can each take the lead with an alternate formation to form its head and chest plate. Also done literally, as the Power Keys make up the heads of the formations.
26* MakeMyMonsterGrow: This time it's a natural ability. The longer a Sporix Beast is not taken care of, the larger they will grow until they become giant-sized. This was why Zayto's forces were still unable to defeat them on Earth, while the Morphing Masters had to devise Zords to assist the Rangers.
27** For Boomtower, he was able to grow after inserting a Sporix inside his cannon, allowing him to tap into the power to do so. Learning from that experience, Void Knight placed Sporix into Slyther and Wreckmate so they could do the same.
28* MechaExpansionPack: Any of the main Rangers' Zords can be used as expansion packs for the Dino Fury Megazord -- even Blue and Pink get formations featuring them, while they're already part of the combination. There's also the Dimetro Blazing Zord and pairs of Raptor and Pacha Smash Zords that can combine with the Megazord, and the Raptor Zords are seen being used by the Mosa Razor Zord as well.
29* {{Mooks}}: Hengemen, knight-like foot soldiers Void Knight uses. They were once used for good until Void Knight got his hands on the Power Key that controlled them.
30* NeverSayDie: Zayto states that the rest of his team were "lost" in the war against the Sporix.
31** Especially egregious in "Old Foes" when Void Knight sputters in fear at [[spoiler:Lord Zedd's unexpected return]]:
32-->'''Void Knight:''' I don't understand! I thought the great Emperor of Evil was...no more!
33--> '''[[spoiler:Lord Zedd]]:''' I am back with a vengeance! And soon YOU will be no more!
34* RecycledInSpace: Power Rangers with '''DINOSAURS... [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers THE]] [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder FOURTH]] [[Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge TIME]]'''! With an added KnightInShiningArmor theme.
35* ShesAManInJapan: The green Ryusoulger is male, the green Dino Fury Ranger is female. Likewise, villain Mucus is female while her counterpart is ''Ryusoulger'' was left ambiguous. Episode 4 lampshades how Izzy is the Green Ranger by ripping the skirt off her outfit and stating how "Skirts aren't her thing".
36* TransformationTrinket: The Dino Fury Rangers use the Dino Fury Morphers alongside the Dino Fury Keys. The Gold Ranger uses the Mosa Fury Blaster as his morpher.
37* TransformingMecha: The T-Rex Champion Zord, Mosa Razor Zord, and Ptera Freeze Zord can transform from their dinosaur modes into humanoid Battle Modes.
38
39!!This show provides examples of:
40* AdaptationSpeciesChange: In the original Sentai, the Zords were a species known as Kishiryu, reptilian creatures that resembled dinosaurs and other assorted extinct life. In this adaptation, they are actually referred to as dinosaurs, which makes it strange that the show refers to all of the Zords as dinosaurs when at least four are not based on dinosaurs.
41** The Green and Black Ranger's Zords in the Sentai were fictional dinosaur species called the Tigersaurus and Needlesaurus, while here they're actual prehistorical species (Smilodon and Stegosaurus).
42* AdaptedOut: The T-Rex Champion Zord lacks Tyramigo's ability to shrink to human size to be the Rangers' RobotBuddy. According to Simon Bennett, this is because the suit was too difficult to work with on set. However, the concept was briefly touched upon, and some fight footage used, when Izzy was transformed into a smaller copy of the Zord.
43* AlterKocker: Amelia's Pop-Pop in episode 6, who's basically one long Creator/JuddHirsch impression.
44* Area51: Void Knight and Mucus make their base out of an abandoned human laboratory just outside of Pine Ridge called... Area 62.
45* ArbitrarySkepticism: Ollie falls into this a lot, not believing in the supernatural even after having met aliens and a cyborg dinosaur. In episode 3, he doesn't believe psychics are real even though he knows a guy (Zayto) who can ''read minds''. [[spoiler:That said, the psychic in question ''was'' fake.]]
46* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Inverted in episode 17 in the case of Slyther attempting to hypnotize [[spoiler:the Mosa Razor Zord]] into doing his bidding.
47-->'''Slyther''': You're so evil, you leave the toilet seat up, you don't tip your waitress, you want to destroy the Rangers.
48* ArtisticLicensePaleontology: The series features dinosaurs such as ''Ankylosaurus'', ''Pachycephalosaurus'', ''Stegosaurus'', ''Triceratops'', and ''Tyrannosaurus''. With ''Dimetrodon'', ''Mosasaurus'', ''Pteranodon'', and ''Smilodon'', none of which are dinosaurs. While most lived during the Late Cretaceous when Zayto and the other knights were fighting the Sporix, some were extinct before the Cretaceous or would not evolve until after the dinosaurs died.
49** All of the models used for the extinct animals are highly outdated and inaccurate; they appear to be carbon copies of Jurassic Park's and thus have all the same inaccuracies. Lacking lips, no feathers, shrink-wrapped, feet that are too elephantine, capable of roaring, possessing broken pronated arms, droopy-tailed Stegosaurus, and thick scaly lizard skin, to name a few inaccuracies. Odd considering the trailer appeared to feature some models with more accuracy.
50** Solon unleashes a loud roar in episode 8. However, since Solon is supposed to be a type of dinosaur, she should not be able to roar.
51** The Tyrannosaurus statue at Dinohenge possesses three obviously visible fingers, which is odd considering Tyrannosaurus is famous for having only two.
52* AscendedExtra: The Morphin Masters were off-handedly referenced in the very first season, as an excuse to justify the backstory of the eggs from Zyuranger footage. Now they're back, as fully-developed characters.
53* AscendedFanboy: Basically everyone. Amelia and Ollie both know who the Power Rangers are and what they do, and Izzy and Javi JumpedAtTheCall the moment the opportunity to become rangers presented itself, and they are visibly excited throughout the rest of the episode. All four are particularly thrilled about getting zords, earning themselves a lampshade from Zayto.
54--> '''Zayto:''' [[TakeThatAudience You humans sure do love zords]].
55* BatSignal: At the end of the second episode, the Rangers set up a phone line so that the public can contact them if they see any Sporix. It happens to be a FiveFiveFive number.
56* BeachEpisode: Episode 17 has the Rangers enjoying and chilling their time at a beach.
57* BlandNameProduct: Amelia's place of work, [=BuzzBlast=], is essentially Website/BuzzFeed.
58* BrainwashedAndCrazy: As is Power Ranger tradition happens multiple times, first Ollie, then Izzy and Javi.
59* BreakingOldTrends: After 27 years of Green Rangers being men, this season features the first ''two'' female Green Rangers in ''Power Rangers'' history: the first being Zayto's teammate in a flashback and the second being Izzy Garcia. [[labelnote:*]] They're preceded by a [[Series/ShurikenSentaiNinninger green extra ranger]] and [[Series/UchuSentaiKyuranger two green]] [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager core rangers]] in ''Sentai'', though ''Ninja Steel'' never had a counterpart for Midoninger and the other two have yet to be adapted into ''Power Rangers'' (for now, at least). [[/labelnote]] This is given precedent in-universe by having the green Morphin' Master use a female model like the pink one.
60* BrickJoke: In Episode 3, Amelia takes Zayto to a fortune-teller named Madame Indigo, and Ollie decides to pretend that he and Amelia are dating and calling her "Honey muffin". Come the episode "Love Hate" and [[spoiler:they're a couple]], and Zayto asks if Amelia is now his "honey muffin".
61* BrotherSisterTeam: Javi and Izzy. Their counterparts, [[Series/KishiryuSentaiRyusoulger Banba and Towa]], are a [[SiblingTeam team of brothers.]] Javi and Izzy are unique from the other teams of rangers that have brother-sister pairs in that they're both core rangers on the same team, thus separating them from ''Series/PowerRangersRPM's'' [[SixthRanger Gem and Gemma]], ''Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue's'' [[TheMedic Dana]] and [[SixthRanger Ryan]], and ''Series/PowerRangersInSpace'' and ''Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy's'' Andros and [[DragonInChief Karone]]. ''Series/PowerRangersSamurai's'' Jayden and Lauren Shiba don't quite count due to them never being on the team at the same time, as well as Lauren being considered an [[EleventhHourRanger Extra Ranger]].
62* CanonImmigrant: The Morphin Masters have been a major part of the [[ComicBook/MightyMorphinPowerRangersBoomStudios Boom! Studios comics]], and make their TV continuity debut in the premier to give Zayto's original team their Ranger powers in a flashback (they were mentioned in ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' in a throwaway line but this is the first time they've made a clear physical appearance in the series).
63* ChekhovsGun: Episode 19 starts with J-Borg successfully doing an interview due to Amelia feeding her lines through an earpiece. Turns out it's also the FreakyFridayFlip episode, and Amelia is stuck with helping out Pop Pop while she's stuck in Zayto's body... so she gets Zayto in her body to use the earpiece.
64* CircleOfStandingStones: Dinohenge is this but with statues of dinosaurs (and a Mosasaur and a Smilodon). The first episode reveals that it was created when the Morphin' Masters empowered Zayto and his team.
65* ContinuityNod: As expected of the Hasbro era.
66** The show treating the Zords as based on the actual dinosaurs (with all the scientific inaccuracies) is perfectly in line with how the Dinosaur Zords were treated in the [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers previous]] [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder three]] [[Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge dinosaur seasons]].
67** Jane's android assistant J-Borg was built by [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Hartford Robotics]].
68** According to episode 10, Solon's a fan of [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel Levi Weston.]]
69** Mick arrives looking for the [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel Nexus Prism]]. When the Rangers find it, Zayto mind melds with it and discovers that the Morphin Masters created not just the Prism, but the [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder Dino Gems]] and [[Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge Energems]] and are implied to be behind the creation of all previous non-man-made Ranger powers.
70** Zayto's vision also implies that the Masters are the reason why [[Series/PowerRangersBeastMorphers Steel]] was revived last season. Speaking of which, "Stitched In" has Izzy and Fern talk about a martial arts series (''Kung-Fugitive'') that stars an actor that goes by Steel Silva.
71** When Morphin Master Green recounts previous times where she intervened, both Steel's revival in ''Beast Morphers'' and the [[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce Legendary Battle]] are shown.
72** In the finale, Jane and J-borg decide to open a new branch of Buzzblast in Angel Grove.
73* CoolChair: Void Knight's throne is the front of a military jeep, just with its engine gutted out.
74* DarkerAndEdgier: Season 2 is arguably this, as the humor has been toned down as the season progress, possibly because of the switch from airing on Nickelodeon to Netflix exclusively.
75* EarlyBirdCameo: Flashbacks to the Knights of Rafkon when Zayto is catching Amelia and Ollie up on the backstory come from all over ''Ryusoulger,'' so at a time of only three Rangers and one Zord active in the present, we briefly get to see all six Rangers, every power-up, and every Zord that's coming.
76* EasterEgg: The toy Power Keys used with the Zords can have the back half of the head removed to reveal a sculpted image of the respective Ranger in an action pose.
77* EnemyMine: The Rangers are forced to help out two Sporix beasts in episode 14; justified by the opponent in question being [[spoiler:Lord Zedd.]]
78* ExtremelyShortTimeSpan: Barring the epilogue that took place after a six month TimeSkip, the last four episodes end up happening over the course of a single day.
79* FreakyFridayFlip: The premise of episode 19 (Izzy and Aiyon are the only ones ''spared''.)
80* {{Foreshadowing}}:
81** When Amelia and Zayto switch places in "The Makeover", one of the things Amelia tries to do is summon Zayto's antenna. In the penultimate episode of the series, [[spoiler:the first thing Amelia does once she learns she's Rafkonian is to also summon her own antennae.]] Moreover, she's the only "Earth" ranger to really like that Flargen Cake in "The Festival", [[spoiler:because she's actually Rafkonian.]]
82** In "New Leaf", Void Knight is horrified at how the monster turns people into trees, and a father crying over his own daughter being transformed. [[spoiler:It's reminding him of how he was separated from his ''own'' daughter.]]
83** Amelia's wish in "Wishful Thinking" is to see her parents, even just for a moment. But instead of seeing them, she sees Void King and Void Queen. [[spoiler:Turns out they ''are'' her parents.]]
84** The brainwashing done to Izzy and Javi using Sporix-energy in "Bad Vibes" is undone when they remember how much they love their family. This comes back in a big way in "The Truth" when [[spoiler: Amelia is able to share her memories with Void King and he realizes she's his daughter, causing his love to overcome the same brainwashing done to him and reverting back to Tarrick]].
85* FunnyBackgroundEvent: In episode 11, while Zayto, Amelia, and Javi are talking in the Megazord's cockpit, Ollie and Izzy are falling over behind them.
86* GottaCatchThemAll: The basic premise of the show: The Sporix are accidentally released on Earth, and the Rangers have to recapture all of them, whether by finding them before they hatch or grabbing them after they're defeated. Void Knight is after them as well, hoping their energy can power up his mysterious machine.
87* HumanAlien: Rafkonians look just like humans with retractable antennae, and Zayto and Aiyon usually keep theirs retracted in order to fit in. [[spoiler:Amelia's antennae don't even appear until late in the series, and she had spent her whole life up until then believing herself to be an Earth-native human.]] They do have psychic powers, but other than the antennae, that seems to be the only noteworthy difference.
88* HumanAlienDiscovery: For most of the series, [[spoiler:Amelia believes she's human and wants to find her missing parents. At the end of the first part of the finale, though, her supposed grandfather drops a huge bombshell: her parents were [[RubberForeheadAlien Rafkonians]]. She unintentionally reads his mind and sees his memories of her parents, which causes her antennae to come out.]]
89* HumanPopsicle: Zayto was put into stasis after the war against the Sporix 65 million years ago.
90* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: Every episode title is two words long.
91* InterspeciesRomance: Between [[spoiler:Ollie and Amelia, once it's revealed how the latter is actually Rafkonian.]]
92* IntrepidReporter:
93** Amelia, who works at [=BuzzBlast=] doing segments on things like glow-in-the-dark lip gloss but would prefer to report on paranormal phenomena.
94** And now Javi as well, after competing with Zayto for a spot at [=BuzzBlast=].
95* ItsQuietTooQuiet: In "Numero Uno," the Rangers set a trap for the bad guys, using Void Knight's saber as bait. While waiting for the bad guys to appear, this line is said.
96* KnownOnlyByTheirNickname: Javi is a nickname for Javier, and Izzy is a nickname for Isabella (since Javi and Izzy's father doesn't call them by their nicknames). Ollie is likely a nickname for Oliver as well, making Amelia the only human on the team without a nickname [[spoiler:Though it turns out Amelia is NOT human. {{Foreshadowing}}? And if Ollie's given name is Oliver, that has SignificantNameOverlap value for what awaits him in ''[[Series/PowerRangersCosmicFury Cosmic Fury]]'']].
97* TheLostLenore: [[spoiler: It's revealed that Void Knight is collecting the Sporix to revive his love, a blonde woman frozen in cryostasis. Season 2 later reveals that this is his wife, Santaura,]]
98* LyingFingerCross: When her boss, Jane, reminds her that access to Dinohenge is prohibited, Amelia does this when she claims to have gotten permission.
99* MacGyvering: Void Knight's lair is in Area 62, and he has repurposed the equipment there to suit his needs, such as a jukebox as a control panel and a military jeep as a throne.
100* MistakenForRomance: "The Matchmaker" has Javi think Izzy has a crush on Adrian. After trying to set them up, he finds out in the end that she did have a crush - but on Fern.
101* MixAndMatchCritters: Solon appears to possess the nasal horn of a ''Ceratosaurus'', cranial horns from a species of Pachycephalosaur, feathers and skull shape from a species of Dromaeosaur[[note]]according to some sources it's based on a Velociraptor skull[[/note]], and feet modelled after some species of Tyrannosaur.
102* MythologyGag: Multiple, par for the course of the Hasbro era.
103** Zayto, having been in stasis since the time of the dinosaurs, is a clear callback to ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'', the first dino-themed Sentai and the basis on which ''Power Rangers'' was created.
104** When Draknarok grows, Javi notes that "It's not like he was going to shrink," thus referencing [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Lothor]]'s famous line.
105** When the Rangers teleport into the Megazord, Izzy asks if she can play music on her console, calling back to Kimberly's line about her Zord having a nice stereo in ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers''.
106** In "Stego Search", Javier manages to awaken his Zord with a flute, similar to how [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Tommy]] summoned his Dragonzord with the flutelike Dragon Dagger. For added emphasis, Javier's flute is partially green.
107** While her ''Super Sentai'' equivalent in ''Ryusoulger'' is male, the Green Ranger being female harkens to ''Kyuranger'' and ''Kiramager'', which have female Green Rangers in their core teams. This is similar to how in the earlier ''Power Rangers'' shows, Yellow Rangers were usually female in America to preserve the two-girl gender ratio although the Yellow Ranger in the corresponding ''Super Sentai'' show might have been either male or female.
108** Mucus calls Void Knight "[[Film/MightyMorphinPowerRangersTheMovie his heinous highness]]."
109** Mick reveals he has a harddrive with data on all previous Power Rangers, similar to the misting rock hidden in Hayley's juice bar in Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder.
110** At the end of "Void Trap", after [[spoiler:the battle with Void Knight that had resulted in the Rangers' connection to the Morphin' Grid being severed, the Rangers are granted back their powers by the Morphin' Master]], they let off a team cry of "Once a Ranger, always a Ranger!", a line uttered a few times from ''Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive'''s crossover special "Once a Ranger", which coincidentially [[spoiler:also had a plotpoint of the Rangers losing their powers temporarily.]]
111** In the finale, [[spoiler:Zayto, having been resurrected, reappears to the rangers in a white-based Ranger outfit, and descends to the floor like Tommy when he became the White Ranger.]]
112* NetGun: Amelia has one called the "Spook Snare", which is (supposedly) meant to catch ghosts. The net can be electrified as well, which comes in handy when she turns it on Void Knight.
113* NiceJobBreakingItHero:
114** Solon tries to help Amelia and Ollie against Void Knight by throwing them a key to activate the Hengemen, only for Void Knight to intercept the key and claim the foot soldiers for his own use.
115** Zayto ends up releasing the Sporix by accident when his Dino Dagger gets deflected into the chest containing them. Ancient History reveals that [[spoiler:he did this in the past, even though Aiyon warned him not to, and it ended up ''destroying Rafkon''.]]
116** Turns out Void Knight armor was created by using the equivalent of the [[spoiler: Battlizer]].
117* ThePowerOfHate: Sporix-Energy power-ups can make a person very strong but, as shown with Void Queen, also continuously feed off of and increase their negative emotions. Void Queen is acting solely on her hatred of humanity by the end of the series, refusing to listen to any reason, until [[spoiler: Amelia forces her to see her memories and realize that her vengeance is fruitless because Amelia ''is'' her daughter]].
118* ThePowerOfLove: The episode "Bad Vibes" sees Izzy and Javi get brainwashed by Void Queens Sporix-powered technology, but they return to normal when they remember how much they love their parents and their family. This helps to foreshadow [[spoiler: Void King turning back into Tarrick after seeing Amelia's memories and being overcome with love knowing that his daughter survived. Amelia later does the same to Void Queen after the team beats her down with multiple attacks.]]
119* ParanormalInvestigation: Amelia is one, or at least trying to be one. She's always looking into weird sightings of ghosts or cryptids, but her boss Jane almost always turns down her stories that focus on them. The premier is the first time Amelia is given a chance to investigate.
120* PassionateSportsGirl: Izzy, who is first seen in the javelin throw and ends up being a sports star at the end of the series.
121* QueerEstablishingMoment: "The Matchmaker" does this for Fern (Izzy's former rival from "Winning Attitude") and Izzy herself. Fern quickly tells Javi that she's not dating guys and Izzy gets awkward when Adrian (actually Slyther in disguise) starts confessing a love poem for her. The end of the episode reveals that they're actually dating.
122* RaisedByGrandparents: Episode 11 reveals that Amelia's parents disappeared under mysterious circumstances when she was a child, leaving Pop-Pop to raise her.
123* Really700YearsOld: Solon, Zayto and Aiyon are both over 65 million years old, due to stasis Zayto and Aiyon haven’t aged, while some unexplained means have kept Solon alive and from aging.
124* RewatchBonus:
125** In season 2 we find out that Void Knight [[spoiler:never wanted to harm humans other than the rangers, as he was solely invested in reviving Santaura]]. This is backed up by his season one plans, which only had Sporix attack people directly to root out the rangers (Smashstone) or non-lethally (Stone Triplets).
126** After the reveal that [[spoiler:Amelia is Rafkonian]], going back in previous episodes [[spoiler:like when she swapped places with Zayto and was curious as to how his antennae worked and that she was the only one of the "Earth" Rangers who enthusiastically dug into the Flargen cake]] subtly hint at her true origins. Moreover, once this is revealed, it makes Void Knight's look of horror in "New Leaf" -- where a father is in anguish of seeing his daughter turned into tree -- be brought into a new light: [[spoiler:he's reminded of his ''own'' daughter whom he gave to a janitor for safe keeping.]]
127* RidiculouslyHumanRobots: Zig-zagged with J-Borg. She moves mechanically and has a slight electronic filter to her voice, but emotes, reacts and most of all, makes pratfalls like a flesh-and-blood human.
128* RubberForeheadAliens: Zayto has a set of antenna on his forehead and comes from the planet Rafkon. He can retract these into his forehead to blend in with humans. [[spoiler:The same can be said about Aiyon, the Rafkonian refugees, Tarrick, Santaura and ''Amelia.'']]
129* SealedEvilInACan: Zayto and Solon captured the Sporix, but the two couldn't find a way to destroy them permanently. In the first episode, the chest containing them is opened during the fight between the Rangers and Void Knight, allowing them to escape.
130* SequelHook: [[spoiler:Zayto is resurrected by the Morphin Masters and he warns the others that they have to go after Zedd, who broke out of his prison.]]
131* ShoutOut:
132** Void Knight's reason for collecting the Sporix, [[spoiler: using the energy to revive his former love, brings to mind Mr. Freeze's backstory from ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries''. Bonus points for the lost love being a blonde Caucasian woman in cryostasis.]]
133** In the episode "Morphin Master", Ollie says "Rangers with crystal powers? I suppose it could be a thing." Since by the time this aired, ''Series/MashinSentaiKiramager'' already existed...
134** Amelia was raised by an AlterKocker [[Series/TheGoldbergs named Pop Pop.]]
135** The show was actually on the receiving end of one, as ''Series/KikaiSentaiZenkaiger'', which is airing simultaneously, had a tweet from Mucus's counterpart [[Series/KishiryuSentaiRyusoulger Kleon]]. The fandom started yelling at them to get back over to the US, because they're supposed to be on Dino Fury.
136** In "Numero Uno", Dr. Akana is currently at the Ishinomori Institute in Japan, which is a clear tribute to the late Creator/ShotaroIshinomori, creator of the ''Franchise/KamenRider'' and ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' franchises, the latter of which would have some of its works adapted into ''Power Rangers''.
137* ShownTheirWork: Solon is supposed to be a type of dinosaur, and as with some dinosaurs she has feathers running along her back[[note]]Though since they are modeled after Dromaeosaur feathers, there are too few, Dromaeosaurs possessed a sleek full-body covering of feathers with wings and tail feathers not just head crests[[/note]]. She also possesses lips with hardly exposed teeth, and studies on dinosaur jaws have concluded that lips were present. She also confirms that she's a dinosaur, not just a lizard.
138* SoleSurvivor: Zayto was the only member of his team to live after the final battle against the Sporix. He also says that few survived his planet being ravaged by the Sporix. Of course, sealed away for 65 million years, his civilization has had plenty of time to either recover or die out; it's impossible to know what's happened over that much time. [[spoiler:Later on, one of his teammates Aiyon is revealed to have survived that last battle as well and was also in stasis. "The Invasion" reveals that many Rafkonians left to let Rafkon flourish.]]
139* StockSoundEffects: The T.rex Champion Zord makes the same sound as the ''Film/{{Jurassic Park}}'' T.rex, the Tiger Zord uses the typical roar sound effect commonly used for big cats, and some of the other Zords appear to reuse sound effects from Dino Thunder.
140* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Thanks to the power of social media, footage of the first Sporix attack is uploaded almost immediately averting a potential SecretWar between them and the Rangers. This gives the Rangers the opportunity to spread the word of the Sporix quickly and allows them to set up a hotline for civilians to call in case of another attack.
141* TakenForGranite: The dinosaur partners of the Knights of Rafkon were turned to stone by the Morphin Masters so that their spirits could merge with the knights and turn them into Power Rangers.
142* {{Telepathy}}: A trait of Zayto's people, which he first demonstrates by finding out Amelia and Ollie's names and personalities.
143* ThoseTwoGirls: Essentially Jane and her J-Borg.
144* TotallyRadical: Izzy often uses Gen Z slang in battle, like "vibing", "OK boomer" and "cringe" in the earlier episodes. One of the dialogue editors indictated this was a deliberate [[OverlyPreparedGag build-up to a joke]] where she says “Ok, boomer” to Boomtower.
145* WhamEpisode: "Ancient History" reveals the truth about what happened to Rafkon. [[spoiler:Rafkon created the Sporix to protect them from threats and it was ''Zayto'' who decided to release them even though Aiyon told them not to, causing the Sporix to be let loose.]]
146** ''Morphing Master'' reveals that several key events from previous seasons [[spoiler:were the doing of Morphin Master Green, including Jason's involvement in the 2020 ''Power Rangers Beast Morphers'' episode 'Grid Connection', Steel becoming human in Beast Morpher's finale 'Evox Unleashed', and the legendary battle from 2014's ''Power Rangers Super Megaforce'']]
147** The last three episodes of the series has a ''lot'' of whammies. [[spoiler:The Rafkonians ''did'' receive Zayto's message way back in episode 3, the revelation of Santaura and Tarrick, the fact that Amelia is ''their daughter'', making her Rafkonian and it's Pop-Pop who connects the last two together.]]
148* WhamShot: "Old Foes" opens with a cloaked figure attempting to steal Void Knight's Sporix. When they remove their cloak, [[spoiler:they reveal themselves to be '''[[BigBad Lord]] [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Zedd]]'''!!!]]
149* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Adrien appears in only two episodes but vanishes from the plot after that, probably to make way for plots involving Izzy and Fern’s (two characters he has ShipTease with) respective love interests: [[spoiler:'''EACH OTHER!!!''']]
