''Toy Story 5'' is set to released in 2026, 7 years after the previous film.
38	** ''WesternAnimation/MonstersInc1'' (2001) got a prequel ''WesternAnimation/MonstersUniversity'' in 2013 -- 12 years after it was released. The sequel series ''WesternAnimation/MonstersAtWork'' (2021) came out 8 years later, which was also 20 years after the original film, which it directly follows chronologically.
39	** ''WesternAnimation/FindingNemo'' (2003) got a sequel called ''WesternAnimation/FindingDory'' in 2016 -- a gap of 13 years.
