[[EnemyMine Hal had to help him get the ring off the spider]]. With its power to absorb energy, and use the victims of the wielder as constructs makes it a prize of Shang Tsung...however, he wishes to eliminate Larfleeze first so as to use its power without limit.

While the orange ring was understood as "emergencies only" the black ring is only there because the GUAD planted it. Stopping the ring requires intense white light, a mix of green and other ring, or forcing the Black Lantern to feel emotion.

Its creator Rami has no intention of letting it into the Trope Pantheon and he's not planning to make a second one, but it was worth noting.

I personally add the compilation pics to clarify which incarnations people would be familiar with, even if it's from a work the profile author is unfamiliar with. It is also to prevent a bias picture for one god from one media, like some of the old Smite or Fate/Series profiles. But I also don't want to be a simple picture of a statue or painting alone. Some people don't like it and it's fine, it's your dissertation if you would like to add it or have someone else do it for you.
