* About a year or so after the Batman ascended, a certain clown-faced mad chemist burst into the Pantheon's couch store, and killed everyone there while searching for a [[IncrediblyLamePun photon]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]See, like a futon?[[/labelnote]], set all the trees on fire for being [[PunnyStuff shady]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]As in, casting shadows...[[/labelnote]], and then finally got caught because it turned out the maid he'd coerced into being his driver, Mikuru Asahina, was actually ''not'' a maid and therefore incapable of making [[{{Pun}} a clean getaway]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]"Clean" in this context meaning— '''POP!''' QUIT EXPLAINING MY JOKES![[/labelnote]].
* [[MultipleChoicePast The Joker's true name and origins before his disfigurement and subsequent insanity are a mystery]]. Was he a criminal mastermind who just got unlucky? [[ComicBook/TheKillingJoke Was he a dreadful comedian with a pregnant wife who had a bad day]]? [[Film/Joker2019 Was he a mentally ill man that society abandoned by society]]? [[Series/{{Gotham}} The twin brother of the leader of the Maniax, the proto-Joker gang]]? All? Neither? Some combination? No one knows—not even the Joker himself. What '''everyone''' knows is that the Joker is Batman's greatest [[ArchEnemy Arch-Enemy]], the Yin to his Yang; the Chaos to his Order; the Comedian to his Straight Man. The Joker has expressed a sort of twisted love for the Dark Knight, though its nature—whether platonic, romantic, or even sexual—is surely as nonsensical and contradictory as everything else about him. He considers the two of them to be equal opposites bound together by fate, and perhaps the craziest thing is that he's not entirely wrong. The two have been at constant war with each other almost since the dawn of their very existence, and in almost every universe there is a Batman and a Joker who are fighting the same fight.
** Has no qualms or limits to the ways he's willing to make Batman suffer, and very often that means going after his allies—indeed, many of his most despicable acts have been against his partners in the Bat Family. He shot Barbara Gordon, crippling her and causing her transition from Batgirl to Oracle; after that, he beat the second Robin, Jason Todd, to death with a crowbar[[labelnote:HAHA!]]In the same ''year'', no less.[[/labelnote]], which led to him adopting the mantle of his (probably) former alias, the Red Hood, after his later resurrection. His [[Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse Earth-12]] incarnation's brutal kidnapping and corruption of Tim Drake's mind is one of the most infamous acts of cruelty he's ever performed. It forced that version of Batman's fellow vigilante subordinates into retirement, and paved the way for [[WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyondReturnOfTheJoker the clown's return decades later]] to fight the new Batman Beyond. Outside of the Bat Family, Commissioner Gordon has probably suffered the most out of Batman's colleagues at the Joker's hands. Besides the crippling of his daughter in [[ComicBook/TheKillingJoke a thankfully failed effort to drive him to insanity]], he also killed his second wife Sarah during the [[ComicBook/BatmanNoMansLand No Man's Land event]]. [[Film/Batman1989 One variant of him]] (Earth-789) has even been recorded to have been the killer of Bruce's parents, which, among many other obvious reasons, has led to antagonism from Thomas and Martha Wayne[[labelnote:HAHA!]]Which is rather hilarious, because in [[ComicBook/FlashpointDCComics yet another alternate timeline]] the two became Batman and the Joker, respectively[[/labelnote]].
** Not only does the Joker not know the secrets of his past, but he really doesn't ''want'' to know, and so certain deities like Geras and the Shinigami Ryuk and Rem have managed to terrify him by claiming to know his true name and origins. However, they refuse to reveal what they know to others, because the Joker's fear of his own backstory makes the knowledge they have a useful deterrent against him. Also, it's just really funny to watch him squirm.
* Considers the Bat's Rogues Gallery to be Batsy's ''real'' Bat Family more than his sidekicks and associates, and while he's a terrible team player most of the time who will inevitably betray anyone he tries to collaborate with, he does generally get along with most of them—he's even been known to play card games with them sometimes when he's "off the clock" (though they make sure to keep an eye on Killer Croc during those ever since... [[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE46AlmostGotIm the incident]]). While almost none would say they particularly like him, there are some who enjoy his company more than others. He and Penguin are shockingly good friends and have partnered together frequently over the years, in spite of the... well... [[WithFriendsLikeThese everything involved in their interactions]], really. In contrast, there are others who especially despise him. He shares a TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou mindset involving Batman with Bane, and the "WWF reject" once beat the clown nearly to death for jeopardizing his campaign against Batman. The Riddler finds it humiliating when people compare his brilliant machinations to the chaotic schemes that the Joker is always pulling, and [[ComicBook/BatmanTomKing they once had a sort of civil war between the two of them in which things got very heated]]. Poison Ivy always found the way he treated his (ex-)girlfriend when they were together contemptible; not only was it reminiscent of Pamela's abusive father, but every time he'd throw her out onto the streets when he was tired of her, she'd wind up going to Ivy to hang with until it all blew over. Now that Quinn's left him for good and moved on with Ivy herself, she's loath to allow him to worm his way back into the clown girl's mind and undo all her progress towards independence. Ra's al Ghul finds his mind fascinating, as he's one of the few people in the world to have beaten him at Chess[[labelnote:HAHA!]]The other being Bane[[/labelnote]], but his daughter Talia has determined that she's not so impressed since he shot her to death in [[VideoGame/BatmanArkhamCity one of the many alternate timelines]]...
** While normally the Animalistic Abomination dubbed Man-Bat, in [[WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueGodsAndMonsters one universe]] (Earth Designation Unidentified) the scientist Kirk Langstrom is instead a vampiric Batman and part of a similarly distinct Justice League team made up of a Superman born of General Zod and a Wonder Woman who's a New God. While that universe (sadly) had no apparent counterpart for the Joker himself, it did have one for [[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Harlequin_(Gods_and_Monsters) Harley]] ("WHAT?!") who was killed when Kirk sucked all her blood after foiling one of her crimes. Despite trying to follow his Superman's example and abstain from killing people, Kirk did slip up once and tried to suck the Joker's blood—and promptly spat it out in disgust. The Joker's blood is so toxic as a result of his frequent exposure to both his own Joker Venom as well as other poisons that even mosquitoes will wither and die if they try to suck it; suffice to say, it tastes '''awful'''.
* Speaking of, the Joker's relationship with Harleen Quinzel[[labelnote:HAHA!]]Call me "Harley", everyone does.[[/labelnote]] started out as a classic tale as old as crime. Boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy, [[MadLove girl breaks boy out of insane asylum]], yada yada yada... Anyway, while admittedly [[{{Understatement}} some of the romance has faded between them]], the Joker always knows all the right moves to make to get her back by his side whenever he really needs her (for what it's worth, he's apparently [[CrazyInTheHeadCrazyInTheBed really good in the sack]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]Uh oh! Looks like now you get to have that thought stuck in your head. Whoops![[/labelnote]]), though it's been some time since he's even tried on account of having replaced her with a new girlfriend who goes by the name Punchline (which kinda opens him up to a couple other inappropriate jokes, if you think about it...). The topic of whether he loves her at all is a heavily debated one in the House of Love and Affection, though [[https://www.dc.com/blog/2024/02/12/a-dangerous-desire-could-the-joker-and-harley-ever-work most at least agree]] that with [[DomesticAbuse the way he treats her]] it doesn't really matter. [[FoeRomanceSubtext He only has eyes for Batman, anyway.]]
** Regardless of whether he loves her or not, the Joker can be very possessive of her anyway, which can make him extremely dangerous to anyone who wants to get too close to her. Ironically, this tends to play a huge part in getting her back, as she finds it romantic; his two biggest "love rivals" (Harley's term) are Deadpool and Poison Ivy.
** Has been gunning for Johnny and Cassie Cage for their attempts at cosplaying as [[https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTO9DFzlX66ivVNcK89ZdjK1RHuw7o1A94kOu89-4cxhLUgDKLEKHltFha19qGzqnM-caQ&usqp=CAU him]] and [[https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1464185415356362667/375C51E863E4B1986CCA9224B744DAFD4C6F2CFE/?imw=512&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false Harley]], respectively ("Wait, aren't you two related? [[ParentalIncest Ew, gross...]]"). At least when Shang Tsung copies his act, he gets it perfectly!
* While few doubt his madness, the exact nature of Joker's mental problems have never been successfully pinned down. Psychiatrists, both in his own universe and in the Pantheon, have diagnosed him with practically everything under the sun. One of the most popular stances which has circulated around the Pantheon is that he actually has developed a strange form of "Super-Sanity"; rather than being merely insane, his psyche is actually ''more'' sane than anyone else and has thus been granted increased awareness that requires him to constantly reinvent himself in order to cope with the increased information his brain processes. This would be why he can be merely a mischievous prankster one day and become a wild indiscriminate serial killer the next.
** Oh, and speaking of Deadpool, while it's not focused on too much as some others with the ability, the Joker is aware of the Fourth Wall and has addressed the audience on a few occasions. He's made demands of the readers of his comic books and questioned his very own existence. He remembers a particular IntercontinuityCrossover between Batman and Spider-Man, and upon entering the Pantheon has attacked the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [[WesternAnimation/BatmanVsTheTeenageMutantNinjaTurtles in revenge for taking away his cool cobra mutation]]. Some deities who subscribe to the "Super-Sanity" theory have proposed that this awareness is a product of this enhanced sanity and is the reason that the Joker so often insists that life is meaningless, and some especially radical voices have even suggested he may in fact be a hero whose schemes and acts as the villain serve to keep the story interesting and, therefore, ongoing.
** By extension, all attempts to cure him have been futile. Therapists such as Frasier Crane, Sigmund Freud, or Angus Bumby have worked tirelessly in their own ways to improve his condition, but nothing seems to work. Even the strongest telepathy from the likes of Martian Manhunter or Professor Charles Xavier only works to make him sane for a very limited time—attempting to calm the Joker's psyche [[https://i.imgur.com/JZYtF1T.jpg has been described as being like trying to calm a raging storm]], and that's if you're lucky enough to come into contact with a mind as deranged as his without some form of trauma[[labelnote:HAHA!]]For this reason, Jean Grey is prohibited from attempting to use her telepathy on him[[/labelnote]]. At least one analysis by a brilliant psychiatrist (Or was it psychologist? It's so hard to remember...) hypothesizes that the Joker isn't any more or less sane than anyone else, and is merely pretending to be mentally ill to avoid prison stays and death sentences—unfortunately, that brilliant psychiatrist was Dr. ''Harleen Quinzel'', so suffice it to say that it's unlikely to ever be taken seriously, let alone be admissible in a court of law.
* The Joker's signature weapon is his famous Joker Venom, a chemical toxin described as "a hellish mixture of hydrogen cyanide and Strychnodide" which was invented by his chemistry savant cousin, the late Melvin Reipan (no relation to [[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic any brothers he might have]])[[labelnote:HAHA!]]MELVIN, MELVIN, BROTHER OF THE JOKER! MELVIN, MELVIN, BROTHER OF— '''''BANG!''''' '''SHUT UP!'''[[/labelnote]], and which he's since learned to make himself. Depending on the Joker's desires, it can kill swiftly or simply leave people catatonic, force its victims to fits of prolonged, spontaneous laughter while stretching the facial muscles to leave them sporting a garish rictus grin similar to his own (though a variant he developed is leaving them with a perpetual frown instead), and even recolor the face and hair to also resemble the mad clown's. A chemistry genius himself, the Joker has created numerous different strains of the toxin (Tim Drake has confirmed that there are over ''fifty'') to combat Batman's equally numerous antidotes for it and been exposed to it so frequently that he's developed an immunity to it, and has even shown the capability of manufacturing it using common household cleaning supplies. Attempts to incorporate Phazon into his Joker Venom during a joint venture with Ridley against Samus produced unexpected but promising results...
* When [[ComicBook/AmalgamUniverse the DC and Marvel Universes combined for a brief time]], the Batman merged with Wolverine to become Dark Claw, while both their respective arch-enemies—The Joker and Sabertooth—fused into the criminal Hyena. As a result, the Joker holds some personal hostility for Logan, though frankly he's a little disappointed he wasn't merged with the Bullseye guy so he could tussle with that Daredevil dude ("They were played by [[Creator/BenAffleck the same actor]], for Pete's sake!")—though he will admit the powers he got in the deal were ''pretty cool''.
** Despite admitting that he likes the Shredder's hammy demeanor and sheer hatred of his enemy Splinter (to the point that tapping into it allows him to resist the effects of the Joker Toxin), having [[ComicBook/BatmanTeenageMutantNinjaTurtles merged to become the Laughing Man]] means Shredder has been inside the Joker's mind and knows he can't trust him at all. Only time will tell if [[WesternAnimation/BatmanVsTheTeenageMutantNinjaTurtles his Jokerized form]] will be more amenable.
** In the case of other Marvel villains, he has an infamous enmity with that of Captain America's arch-enemy Red Skull[[labelnote:HAHA!]]Ironically, the basic chemical compound of his Joker Venom is almost identical to that used by the Red Skull for his Dust of Death—to the point that both are equally immune to each other's poison[[/labelnote]] and the psychotic Carnage. You'd think he'd get along with all of them, but it turns out [[EvilHasStandards even the Joker has some standards]] (sometimes), and [[https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4051/4703531875_3b13568ed7_b.jpg Nazis are one of them]] (which also leads to similar feuds with similarly aligned groups like Millennium). He also [[https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-f9f4f838e77359b3e4d4465be05c0f23-lq can't condone the conduct that Cletus Kasady commits his crimes as Carnage]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]try saying ''that'' five times fast[[/labelnote]]—it's just ''so'' '''boring'''!
** The only reason that The Punisher hasn't put down the Harlequin of Hate is that Batman keeps protecting him. But he's made it clear to the MonsterClown that the minute the big bad Bat turns his back and he gets an opportunity, the Joker is a ''dead man''. Frank's one of a select number of people who have managed to achieve the singular feat of [[https://preview.redd.it/rfbj87w4vq251.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=d3741a7ea416c57a565ede4d5cccca642122741a getting the Joker to quit laughing and simply run for his friggin' life]].
* Enjoys working with the infamous psychopath known to the public as Johan Liebert, and has joked that being in his presence makes him feel even more disturbed than usual ("I'm a MonsterClown, and ol' Johan? He's... well... he's just a Manga/{{Monster}}!"). When the two join forces, they usually wind up acting as a villainous HamAndDeadpanDuo[[labelnote:HAHA!]]No prizes for guessing who gets which part.[[/labelnote]] committing only the most heinous and chaotic crimes of all time, and they've allied with each other so often that they've formed [[Pantheon/GUAELiebertarianMovement a special group]] in the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil dedicated to encouraging their special brand of wicked activity. For this group, they've recruited the likes of Junko Enoshima—who the Joker has referred to as "the funniest girl I've ever known"—and Joker (the... uh... the [[Anime/SmilePrecure smiley glittery one]], y'know).
* As one of the most iconic {{Monster Clown}}s in all of fiction, it should come as little shock that the Joker has [[PracticallyJoker inspired many to take up similar iconography while committing terrific acts of villainy]]. Few have the notoriety and sheer dread that he has—as fellow villain the Trickster once said, when villains want to scare each other they tell "Joker Stories"—but some of them have managed to make their own (bloody) marks in the arena of stories and impress him.
** Despite the literal everything about them, the Joker and the Violator don't get along especially well. The latter hates all humans with a prejudice, and while he found the Joker's act of cutting off his own face to prove a point humorous he doesn't see him as much better than just another pathetic Hellspawn. The former simply doesn't like the fact that he once stole his "Joe Kerr" gag without crediting him! Sure, they've managed to work together quite well under the common flag of opposing a partnership between Batman and Spawn, but it's strictly professional between them.
** Liked the idea of Kefka's [[PillarOfLight Light]] [[DeathFromAbove of Judgment]] attack so much that he tried his hand at [[WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyondReturnOfTheJoker making his own version]] using a satellite armed with a laser he'd hijacked with stolen jamming equipment. Kefka was overjoyed to see one of his primary influences taking inspiration from him in turn; imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you know?
** After Joker got his hands on his very own "Jokermobile"[[labelnote:HAHA!]]a considerable upgrade from [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel_dc/images/2/26/Jokermobile_07.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20160520204811 his old one]][[/labelnote]], [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle he decided to go steal Needles Kane's ice cream.]] What followed was a brutal fight through the streets of Gotham, ending with the Joker impaled but alive, and Sweet Tooth poisoned by Joker Toxin.
** You'd think the Joker and IT would get along like two clowns in a sewer, but the Joker simply can't respect someone who lost to a group called "The Loser's Club" (Plus, he's more of a ''Literature/TheShining'' fan). He once got into a heated rap battle against Pennywise the Dancing Clown, where it was revealed that, much like [[https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NvamXXtEdTI/VnNoOlHQ7hI/AAAAAAAACKs/w3TQtkuBUwo/s0-Ic42/RCO012.jpg Scarecrow's Fear Toxin]], the Deadlights have no effect on him—whether this is due to a complete lack of fear or simply not being phased by whatever his fear is not known.
** Is a big fan of Bobble the Clown's show, though admittedly when it comes to children he prefers to ''bash'' their brains out of their skulls rather than simply corrupt them.
** '''Loves''' that Dr. Screwball Jones is a banana. Joker considers the quintessential comedic fruit to be representative of "[[ComicBook/BatmanAndRobin2009 the primal gag, the fall]]". Everything else about him is just icing on the cake.
* On one occasion, the Mayor of Townsville requested [[https://www.cbr.com/powerpuff-girls-scrapped-joker-crossover/ that the Joker visit Townsville to terrorize the city, hoping that his status as a famous supervillain would help boost its reputation]] (Yes, really.). Much to the relief of their resident superhero team known as the Powerpuff Girls, the Joker was put off by the idea of his crimes being endorsed, and because there was no word of Batman getting involved.
** Has a particular enmity with the Scooby Gang, who once spoiled one of his schemes [[WesternAnimation/TheNewScoobyDooMovies during a team up with Batman and Robin ages ago]], and Shaggy and who gave him and Penguin [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVz5tR0Rs1I a pretty decent beating]] [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold much more recently]].
* His frequent jokes about how similar Batman and Darth Vader are has drawn the ire of both Anakin himself and his son Luke Skywalker, leading to numerous pranks against the two which has mostly just resulted in the wasting of a great number of dental hygienic products ("May the ''floss'' be with you!"). In one instance, he managed to [[https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/058/661/032/large/javier-oliver-04-joker-skywalker-c.jpg?1674672411 get his hands on Luke's lightsaber]] ("Ooooh, green! ''Totally'' my color!") simply by getting R2-D2 to bring it to him. For some reason, droids seem to have a hard time telling the two apart...
* They may not always get along, but the Joker's best friend ("Aside from ''BATMAN'', of course!") is the Metropolis Mogul, Lex Luthor. The genius billionaire scientist may sometimes find him tiresome, but he's also admitted that the Joker is "strangely compelling" and enjoys teaming up with him when dealing with the World's Finest. While he knows that trusting him to not betray you is a fool's gambit, Lex is also smart enough to know that if you're going to have a team of supervillains, you ''have'' to let the Joker play... or else. As such, Luthor has consistently dragged the Joker into each incarnation of the Legion of Doom, and alongside him into the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil. While his dealings with a certain Jokerized Batman may have soured their relationship, it's sure to be only a matter of time before they're working together again like they used to.
** By the by, did you know that the Joker hates the Batman Who Laughs? No? Okay, '''THE JOKER HATES THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS!''' Got it? The Batman Who Laughs as a concept represents something that the Joker simply finds disgusting and abhorrent in every way imaginable: the end to his game with Batman. Any villain who wants any chance to be on the Joker's good side had better stay as far the hell away from the Batman of Earth -22 as possible. Capiche? Capiche.
* His maniacal crimes have pitted him against numerous representatives of the law.
** After a brief experience going through became friends even became one of them—as "Judge Joker", he could easily kill others with the mere sound of his {{Evil Laugh}}ter. While the Man Who Laughs eventually gave up the position and its power after realizing it simply made killing people way too easy ("I don't just kill people, you know. I kill them ''when it's'' '''[[RuleOfFunny funny]]'''."), he and the Dark Judges remain allies he can call upon when faced against the stalwart Judge Dredd.
** As one might expect, the Dominators used by agents of the Sibyl System are completely useless against the Joker, as they register him as "Criminally Asymptomatic" which means they think he's perfectly sane and won't fire on him. Sibyl has flagged him as a possible target for recruitment, but have exercised extreme caution ever since the kerfuffle with Shogo Makishima. Naturally, only two of their agents have any chance of bringing the Joker down if it's necessary: Shinya Kogami and Akane Tsunemori, who've learned not to rely solely on the Dominators, though they've acknowledged that the Joker is dangerous enough that they'd likely be out of their depth against him without assistance.
** Caught wind from one of his followers about a secret organization called Direct Attack that uses orphaned child soldiers in its campaign to retain the peace and security of the city of Tokyo. Finding great hilarity in likening it to Batman's use of various Robins and Batgirls in his war on crime, the Joker decided it would be fun to kidnap some of these "Lycoris". It was surprisingly easy, too; despite being a highly trained fighter who would otherwise wipe the floor with him, Chisato has a fatal weakness in relying on her eyesight to observe body language and nonverbal cues to predict and counter her enemies' moves—which she can do to the Joker, too... only [[https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3Zws9q0hK2LvaFZOcRW2zqRtrCbNwecbs6ttuP2s8gdrLtbUuAnuI_eZhbH-2SMmUS4eQtxIj8lj4HZgoKyc2NC9A5LHtBzXJvqb0koQORnH9kF5bX1WjPF2Qa0uUuaBmftlcA6h2HXti/s1600/jokervscass.jpg his body language makes no sense]]. While the timely betrayal of one of his own followers [[labelnote:HAHA!]]Joker never anticipated Majima's morals regarding fighting for the weak and being manipulated would conflict with his[[/labelnote]] as well as the arrival of the Batman served to rescue her and Takina from a tragic fate, it still came too close for comfort. Unlike their similar enemy, Majima, the Joker has none of the sympathetic considerations or reasonable morals that vibe with Chisato; in fact, he doesn't care much about her at all—he saves all that affection for Batsy—and so while he's happy the incident made him one of the few people that she absolutely hates, the entire thing was really intended to plant doubts in the Bat about the merits of underage soldiers... which sadly worked in every respect.
** Light Yagami has tried to kill the Joker with the Death Note on numerous occasions, but since he doesn't know his real name it never works ("'Jack Napier'? 'Jack White'? Why are none of them ''working''!"). He's even gotten Misa to look at him with her Shinigami Eyes, but that attempt was foiled because each time she looks at him the name she saw changed—as it turns out, the natural phenomenon known as Hypertime and the many {{Cosmic Retcon}}s that have plagued the Divine Continuum have left the Joker's history and identity as inconstant and unreliable as the rest of himself. As L pointed out, it's almost as if the universe itself is going to great lengths to keep the Joker's anonymity intact...
* His [[Franchise/{{Injustice}} Earth-49 incarnation's]] actions of committing mass homicide by nuking Metropolis—as well as the subsequent resulting corruption of Superman and establishment of the One Earth Government—have garnered the Joker a [[TheDreaded terrifying reputation]] throughout the Pantheon. Obviously, the High Councilor Kal-El holds a massive grudge against every version of the Joker for the murder of his Lois Lane, and Lois herself, of course, loathes the clown who has managed to kill her in [[ComicBook/KingdomCome not one, but two]] different realities.
** So toxic and wicked is the Jester of Genocide that entire realities have been known to rally together in opposition to him—including the realms where the Franchise/MortalKombat tournaments take place, where [[HatedByAll even the likes of Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn find him foul]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]Joker isn't particularly fond of Shang Tsung, as the sorcerer "[[VideoGame/MortalKombat9 stole my move]]" and dislikes his ability to copy his face whenever they fight[[/labelnote]]. Having managed to [[VideoGame/MortalKombat11 kill literally everyone in the Earthrealm, Netherrealm, and Outerrealm in one timeline]], ''everyone'' from that universe considers him a great threat, especially those like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, who defend the realms and [[GuestFighter are also aware of his tragic destruction of Metropolis]]. Jax hates him for "making Kano seem like less of a monster". The only exceptions are Havik and Mileena, who—along with the mortal Hsu Hao—have joined him to form the League of Misunderstood Maniacs, dedicated to giving all worlds filled with law and order an "enema".
* Despite being ludicrously more powerful than he is, the Fifth-Dimensional Imp known as Mr. Mxyzptlk exhibits a lot of anxiety when it comes to dealing with the Ace of Knaves, mostly because of when he was tricked into giving the mad clown 99.99% of his power. The Joker [[ComicBook/EmperorJoker then used this power to easily rewrite all of existence in his name]], killing Batman over and over in ever more torturous and gruesome ways until he was finally stopped by Superman. For the same reason, Stanley Ipkiss keeps far, far away from the Joker. The Mask's power is [[PowerBornOfMadness tied to the insanity and creativity of the user]], and as shown [[https://i.pinimg.com/564x/74/37/02/743702548e2d35c46a850988dba696f0.jpg when the Joker acquired it and became a new Big Head]] he's basically unstoppable with it on. The joke's on Stanley, though, because the Joker has zero interest in wearing the Mask again—in fact, [[https://2.bp.blogspot.com/LhzKG-5l9zlb8VA60GBmRlYg-gCsI4ut-SBtDzrdOxf7IliwaFP49iKQlAFJVSYNQ8xOTWUID4HI=s0 he's one of the few people who can and would take it off]] if he wore it—as he finds its unfunny and unoriginal antics uninspired and unworthy of his reputation.
** Has also been known [[SoldHisSoulForADonut to sell his soul to demons in exchange for things like Cuban cigars]] ("Hey, it's not like ''I'm'' using it for anything! Might as well get ''something'' good out of it.") and has been banned from the Hall of Demons for trying to score a moonlit dance with some of them.
* Is one of the few gods to be defeated by [[Pantheon/GamingStyles the Angry Video Game Nerd]], and because of that, he has plans to get revenge on him with the help of [[Pantheon/MindGames Freddy Krueger]] and [[Pantheon/{{Headwear}} Jason Voorhees]].
* Finds Alma Wade's power and childish form to be eerily similar to that of one of his former associates, the secret weapon of his Royal Flush Gang. While he'd like to believe his mind has grown more than psychotic enough to resist the insanity of her abilities now, he'd rather not test that theory again unless he absolutely has to.
* Finds it hilarious to annoy Serious Sam by asking him just ''why'' it is that he's so... grim. [[Film/TheDarkKnight Why so "Serious"?]][[labelnote:HAHA!]]'''HAHA HAHAAAA HAA HAA HAAAHA HAHAA HA HAAAHA HAAAAHAHA HAA HAA HA AHA HAHAAHA!'''[[/labelnote]]
** Professor Poopypants can't stand to be in the same room as the Man Who Laughs. Three guesses why, and the first two don't count.
** As much as he enjoys laughing at people, he really can't take the heat himself. The House of Pantheon/TheatreAndSpectacle still talks about that time he threw a gas grenade at Statler and Waldorf up in the box seats—if there ever was a natural enemy to a comedian, it's hecklers...
* For a time it was believed that there has been more than one Joker that Batman has clashed with over the years, with the Mobius Chair and [[ComicBook/BatmanThreeJokers further investigations]] suggesting that there are three: the sadistic master criminal of [[UsefulNotes/TheGoldenAgeOfComicBooks the Golden Age]], the harmless prankster of [[UsefulNotes/TheSilverAgeOfComicBooks the Silver Age]], and the insane psychopath of [[MediaNotes/TheBronzeAgeOfComicBooks the Bronze Age]] onward. However, [[ShrugOfGod not everyone was certain this was actually the case]]; indeed, [[ComicBook/BatmanChipZdarsky recent examination since]] has revealed that [[CanonDiscontinuity this is all false]] and the Mobius Chair wasn't being literal, but rather denoting that the Joker has trained himself to create split personalities which, for some time, made him three different people in one body.

** Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
** Conflicting Opinion:
* When looking to apply research that [=KaibaCorp=] had been conducting into the creation of Duel Monster spirits for the purposes of creating new support cards for his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in a latest scheme to finally achieve victory over Yugi, Seto Kaiba looked to an extremely obscure Ancient Egyptian legend for inspiration: that of the Blue-Eyed Maiden who he had encountered during his time in the Memory World. Said to be physically weak, in times of trouble she would unleash an incredible power because she carried the spirit of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon inside of her. Modeling the new cards after this and similar legends, Kaiba created the "with Eyes of Blue" cards, and the process of creating new spirits resulted in them emerging into the Pantheon. After the one known as "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" introduced herself as Kisara, news of this incredible phenomenon rapidly spread and she was quickly ascended for her magical blue eyes[[labelnote:KC]]Just to prove that nothing really changes, Kaiba later challenged Yugi to a duel using his new cards, and became outraged when it was revealed that [[{{Troll}} Pegasus had made new support cards for him, too]][[/labelnote]].
** Having spent a very long time in the Duel Monsters Spirit World as the "Maiden with Eyes of Blue", Kisara is very familiar with the various monsters that inhabit that world who are regularly opposed to her in the card game—most of which are connected to deities in the Pantheon. From the [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Elder_Entity Elder Entities]] of the Franchise/CthulhuMythos to the [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Noble_Knight Noble Knights]] of Myth/ArthurianLegend to even the [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Ancient_Warriors Ancient Warriors]] of ''Literature/RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms'' and many others, she has a tendency to associate deities with spirits they resemble or remind her of.
* Little is known about the mysterious girl who lived in Ancient Egypt, whose unusual combination of incredibly pale skin, pure white hair, and piercing blue eyes marked her as the container of the awesome creature known as the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Seto and his father Akhenadin (Aknadin)[[note]]the brother of Atem's father Akhenamkhanen (Aknamkanon), making Seto and Atem cousins, though neither was aware of the connection[[/note]], high priests of the Pharaoh Atem, hoped to use the power of the legendary dragon within her for themselves, but during their brief time together Seto fell in love with her and she was killed when she sacrifices herself to save his life. Kisara's relationship with the Blue-Eyes White Dragon is unique even amongst other humans and their spirit monsters. In Ancient Egypt, those who participated in Diaha (the Ancient equivalent of the modern Duel Monsters) used their Ba (the part of the soul that acts as the user's life force, and the Ancient equivalent of Life Points) to summon and control their Ka (the part of the soul that governs personality and manifests as a distinctive spirit monster)[[note]]''Yu-Gi-Oh!'''s version of the soul is based heavily off the real Egyptian mythological concept of the soul, but with significant ArtisticLicense[[/note]]. Kisara is special in that her Ba and Ka are, in fact, one and the same, making it difficult to release the Blue-Eyes unless she was unconscious. Though in life she couldn’t control the dragon within her, as a duel spirit Kisara has gained some ability to channel its power and summon it via her monster effect[[labelnote:Effect]]When a card or effect is activated that targets this card (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or GY. When this card is targeted for an attack: You can negate the attack, and if you do, change the battle position of this card, then you can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or GY. You can only use 1 "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" effect per turn, and only once that turn[[/labelnote]].
* As the modern reincarnation of Priest Seto, Seto Kaiba retained his past life’s feelings for her; these latent feelings are a primary reason for his obsession with the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card. While Kisara does feel some obvious attachment to him as well, their relationship is strained by Kaiba's past act of tearing up one of the four "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"s in the world. While the connection between her and the cards is a little more complicated than any standard {{Soul Jar}}s, having one of them be completely torn down the middle was not a pleasant feeling, to say the least. She does like Mokuba, though. He's cute. This has not deterred the House of Pantheon/LoveAndAffection from latching onto the two and expecting them to get together, of course—or just flat-out assuming they already have. Belldandy and Irisviel think their relationship dynamic is very romantic, while Shiera and Carter Hall as well as Link and Princess Zelda find their ReincarnationRomance charming; Leonard Church has theorized that Kisara's existence in the Pantheon is merely as a sort of LivingMemory for Seto.
* It has been speculated by some in the Pantheon that either Weiss or Winter Schnee may somehow be a reincarnation of Kisara, for obvious reasons—even those who know them very well can easily confuse them for each other if they're not wearing characteristic outfits or hairstyles. Despite this, she's had pleasant interactions with the other members of Team RWBY; Ruby Rose[[note]]Who reminds her of Aki's "Black Rose Dragon"[[/note]] in particular is one of the few who never gets Weiss and Kisara mixed up ("Duh! Weiss has a scar across her eye!"), and the Silver-Eyed Warrior frequently refers to her as "my SECB (Significant Eye Color Bestie)!" much to Weiss' annoyance... and possible jealousy?
* The Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a symbol of power. Though Kisara may at first seem too timid and frail to bear the soul of the ultimate creature of destruction, dragons of all sorts can easily see how her true inner strength is personified by the dragon hidden within her, and deities associated with its colors like Krulcifer Einfolk, Yumi, Maximus, and Kaworu Nagisa are revered by dragons for their strength in all its forms. Its counterpart, the Red-Eyes Black Dragon, is a symbol of potential, so those who make use of those colors like Ikaruga are often respected for their developing prospects. Though technically not known to actually be a dragon, Kisara is associated with them regardless due to having the soul of a dragon. The Dovahkiin, in particular, looks to her as a sort of relative, and he's tried to teach her some of his Thu'um while she teaches him some of the spells she's come into possession of in the spirit world. She likes to take care of the Ryus and Tiki, likening them to her "family"—the other "with Eyes of Blue" monsters. Jake Long has expressed envy at her ability to summon her dragon as a separate entity from herself, as that ability would really come in handy for his day-to-day life.
* Being a former slave before being rescued by the young Priest Seto, Kisara sympathises with slaves in the Pantheon, especially Anakin Skywalker, whose appearance combined with arrogant personality, tech genius, and devotion to those close to him are reminiscent of Seto Kaiba.

* Theme Song: '''Official''' song (in other words, ''no fan music, regardless of quality'') that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their SignatureSong. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on Website/YouTube.
* Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about Administrivia/TheGreatCharacterAlignmentDebate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D.
* Gender: For Pokémon deities only. Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
* Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
* Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
* Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
* Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
* Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
* High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
* Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
* Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies.
* Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals.
* Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes.
* Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include EnemyMine, VitriolicBestBuds, TeethClenchedTeamwork, HeadbuttingHeroes, FriendlyEnemy, FriendlyRival, JustFriends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
* Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Pokémon.
* Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
* Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or find pitiable.
* Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by, regardless of alignment.
* Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
* Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
** The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
** The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
* Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
* And some more trivia/facts.

* Despite his new position amongst the gods of the Pantheon, he rarely visits this place for two main reasons. The first being that he doesn't like to share power with the other gods, instead, bossing around the other Olympians as he sits on his golden throne. The other reason being that Kratos nearly destroyed the entire House of Nature when he found out about his recent ascension. The few times he does appear is when it's time for a fight, when he feels to get it on with members in the House of Love or when he keeps fighting his son for the Blade of Olympus.
* Not many members of the House of Love look forward to his visits. If [[Pantheon/LustfulBehavior Panty Anarchy]] (One of the few women who can stand him) is to be believed, he might be an amazing lover who knows how to take charge, but he does NOT take no for an answer. And he has a REALLY bad habit of never wearing protection, leading to him having MANY illegitimate children!
--> [[Webcomic/TheNonAdventuresOfWonderella "Woman! I am Zeus! And I shall do as I wish with you!"]]
** And to make matters WORSE, he doesn't miss out on the chance to get it on with some male deities as well. Just ask Akio Ohtori and Abe Takakazu about their unfortunate experiences with him!
* Over time, with multiple facets of himself, Zeus found himself possessing several versions of himself. If he's feeling particularly angered and decides to deliver fatal punishment, he reverts to the 'dark, ruthless mode', which was what Kratos faced. If he's feeling more even-tempered, but not exactly happy (e.g: Neutral), he reverts to the 'neutral' mode, which is the form he took in the [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} Battleground of the Gods]]. If he feels rather joyous, but still can afford a bit more happy thunder blasting, he reverts to his 'slightly more family-friendly combat', which is seen in the [[VideoGame/{{Dota 2}} Fields of the Ancients]] (which is why he thought 'emulating Mario's jump' is a jolly idea). But Zeus also has his ways for good publicity, the [[WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}} 'totes family friendly']] mode. Though this still doesn't win him as many fans as he expected, because the last always comes at the expense of [[EverybodyHatesHades Hades]].
* Go ahead. Bring up [[VideoGame/PlayStationAllStarsBattleRoyale that time he lost to a mortal who didn't even know that he was a Greek God]]. Or [[NoodleIncident that time he went into a week-long coma after sleeping with]] [[Pantheon/MurderAndAssassination Morinth]]. The ashes of the last schmuck who tried to shove it in his face are still smoldering somewhere in the pits of Tartarus.
* Zeus might be one of the best marksmen in the entire Pantheon, considering how he can hit the smallest of targets with his lightning bolts from the sky-high tops of Olympus, even with clouds blocking his sight.
* Though he sure as hell won't be winning any Father of the Year awards any time soon, it is important to note that [[PapaWolf he does care for Hercules enough]] to throw bolts of thunder against most people who try to harm him. [[PetTheDog It's one of his more positive traits, to say the least]].
* While it's not unclear how powerful Zeus' lightning bolts can be when he's at full strength or when he decides to become [[OneWingedAngel Thunder and Tempest Incarnate]], it was proven by the House of Technology that at times they can reach up to 21 thousand gigawatts.
* Whenever Zeus and Kratos do fight (mostly over trying to get their hands on the Blade of Olympus), most of the other members of the Pantheon do everything in their power to limit or repair the damage as quickly as possible while evacuating any weaker inhabitant from the area. The reason for this dire security measure is because the last time Kratos and Zeus were locked in mortal combat, [[ApocalypseHow it ended with the destruction of the entire world!]]
* Has piqued an interest in Asura and his fighting skills, but is advised against making any moves on his daughter Mithra.
* Zeus has a very uneasy relationship with the Nordic God of Thunder, Thor, mostly over how they treat their followers. Where the Odinson is willing to fight and die for his people and allies in a heartbeat in order to protect them from any threat, Zeus on the other hand barely lifts a finger when his followers are slaughtered by the hundreds. In fact, he's perfectly willing to screw over all of them for the [[DisproportionateRetribution slightest of offenses]]. Give him the bad part of a buffalo? Your entire people go without fire. Claim that you're a better lover than him? Your entire continent goes infertile. Say that his beard looks stupid? [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking The entire planet goes hairless and unattractive]].
** Both Thor and his father Odin has called him out on this, with Zeus also noting that while they may have some good deeds and lighter than him, [[NotSoDifferentRemark they're no different as they, especially Odin, are also capable of dick moves if they please.]] This tends to be the source of argument when they duke it out in the [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} Battleground of the Gods]], but surprisingly, it slowly mutates into something of a FriendlyRivalry on Odin's case (Thor gets to play more with Hercules), especially [[WhatCouldHaveBeen when Zeus gave a hint/warning that knowing Kratos, after he destroyed Olympus, he might have set his eyes to wreak havoc in Valhalla next.]]
** Both Zeus and Odin eventually agreed to send an invitation to the Far East Pantheon to invite Amaterasu to participate. However, when news reached that Amaterasu was under assault by [[VideoGame/BlazBlue Yuki Terumi]] and in the verge of losing, Zeus surprisingly was the first to rally the whole Greek Pantheon (those that trusted him anyway) to give their 'prayer and support' to help Amaterasu. It was not out of kindness or disgust at Terumi, however. Zeus' reasoning is merely that it'll be bad for "business and fun" if Amaterasu cannot make it to the Battleground.
* Whenever the Olympic Games take place, he is always seen watching every single sport take place in the House of Sports, thinking that they are carried out in order to pay him tribute. The other gods who partake in the Olympic Games simply play along in order to get him out of their hair for a while, knowing that these games are a massive case of SeriousBusiness for him. In fact, he takes it so seriously that he even tries to stop many gods from the House of War to carry out their jobs during these seasons. Any interruption of the Olympic Games will [[BerserkButton strike a nerve that is best avoided.]]
* His relationship with his brother, Hades, has become VERY confused ever since they both joined the Pantheon. When they are in the realm of Olympus, Greece, Italy or Rome, they tend to have a proper brotherhood ([[BigScrewedUpFamily or at least as proper as the Olympian gods can get]]). However, the moment they meet on the grounds of the Pantheon, Hades becomes far more prone to betrayal and Zeus becomes far more paranoid against his older brother. In fact, he even tends to forget that Hades is supposed to be older than him whenever they met in the Pantheon. The strange effect wears off the moment they return to their original realms. [[LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain They try not to talk about it during family meetings]].
* [[Webcomic/ZeusGodlyGoodtime Recently, Zeus decided to put his feud with Kratos on hold and tried to be a good father by taking him on a day out.]] Unfortunately, Zeus' plan did not succeed, because he did that while wearing his 'dark ruthless' form and Kratos still hates his guts (granted, not that Kratos would ever show mercy to his other forms). On the bright side, Jak was looking for a father figure of his own, which resulted in Zeus and Jak forming a father-son relationship of their own. Jak is one of the few gods unaffiliated with Disney who is able to see Zeus' more positive side.
** Unsurprisingly, Daxter fears Zeus. Jak understands why and has pleaded with Zeus to treat him with respect.
* Surprisingly, he has given help to [[Pantheon/TheatricProduction Pit]] on his first two adventures and was surprisingly nice to him. That being said, he did start saying "YOU WEAKLING!" to anyone who he saw being way below his might.
* Once tried to go after [[Pantheon/{{Firearms}} Aigis]] due to him thinking that she is copying his symbol. However, his appearance [[spoiler:caused her and the members of both SEES and Investigation Team to remember a [[VideoGame/PersonaQShadowOfTheLabyrinth forgotten memory]] of the time when he possessed Elizabeth and tried to fight them, causing them to go on defense. Once Zeus remembered that they beat him that time and realizing that the former team ''beat and sealed away Nyx'' (who even Zeus fears), he had to call back.]]
** Because of this, he has a TeethClenchedTeamwork with Makoto. [[spoiler:Yes, he beat him once and could summon him at will, but he also keeps Nyx sealed away, which Zeus is at least grateful of.]]
** [[spoiler:This has also made [[Pantheon/PersonalAppearance Ai]][[Pantheon/{{Villains}} ry]] his enemies. If they ever become close to House of Nature, he will strike them with lightning without a second thought.]]
* One of the few beings that even Zeus fears is Nyx's daughter [[Pantheon/LegalProcess Nemesis]], whose desire to mete out justice for unrighted wrongs had turned Zeus (who is guilty of that about ten times over) into a regular punching bag for her. Upon hearing of her ascension, Zeus ''fled to Mount Olympus'' and didn't return until he confirmed that the amount of other evil people in the pantheon meant he wasn't her number one target.
* Zeus has a rather interesting taunt called Heavenly Jump [[VideoGame/{{Dota2}} when he used his "slightly more family-friendly" form]], where he jumps Super Mario style. Alongside his appearance there which has an uncanny similarity to Mario himself, people have started to wonder if there's a connection between Zeus and Mario.
** It's been a long contest, but Zeus ended up as the winner of an arcana vote contest thanks to overwhelming mortal support, and will be receiving an arcana set in the future. Zeus was quite pleased with his victory and did not waste an opportunity to rub it in the competition's face. First things first, he visited a divine barber to get some facial upgrade.
** He... was about to do the boasting but had to hold that thought in a bit since when he got that, he encountered [[VideoGame/{{Dota 2}} Zet the Arc Warden]] and came across the news about how the Radiant or Dire he fought with might be something more ancient than Godlike beings like himself. This forces Zeus to ponder about things and what actions he needed to take to assert his authority.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_xFOmYxKYw Thor and Zeus]] decided [[WebVideo/EpicRapBattlesOfHistory to rap against each other]] to see which thunder god is mightier. [[spoiler:It was decided Thor won. Zeus wasn't too happy about that]].
* In "neutral" mode, he doesn't take it well when someone invades his home and seeing too many rebelling within his "children". But he stands resolute that he CAN and WILL quell them, with these words:
-->''[[http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/smite.gamepedia.com/c/cc/Zeus_Intro_1.ogg "Immortals have invaded my realm and my children rebel against me. Dark days these are, but my strength shall bring resolution and my lightning, illumination!"]]''

* Conflicting Opinion: [[Pantheon/SpeechNtoZ Yoda]], [[Pantheon/{{Mentalities}} Luke]] [[Pantheon/EnergyWeaponry Skywalker]]
* It was an average day in the Pantheon, when [[IncomingHam it happened]]. Hovering over ''ALL'' of the Houses, came the image of an masked man, completely confounded everyone who saw him. Before anyone could do anything about it, [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Yoda came out of his usual spot]] and [[WhamLine whispers out an sentence]] that completely '''shook''' the Pantheon [[MassOhCrap down into its very foundation]]:
--> '''Yoda:''' At last...arrived you have, Revan.
* [[MultipleChoicePast There has been a lot of speculation of what his past is]], but it is generally confirmed that he's from the Outer Rim before he was taken in by the Jedi. Growing to become one of the most talented Jedi to ever be in the Order, [[TheParagonAlwaysRebels he left it along with his friend Alek]] to fight against the savagery the Mandalorians, [[MagneticHero inspiring many others to do the same]]. After winning the war and going off to find the true mastermind behind the war, Revan returned to the Republic as [[FallenHero the Dark Lord of the Sith]] to wage war against the Republic. However, one incident during a fight on his personal ship, Darth Malak (formerly Alek) [[TheStarscream shoots down his ship from a distance]], knocking Revan out. Saved by his future wife, Bastila Shan, and turned into the Jedi Council, [[HeelFaceBrainwashing where his memory was wiped and became a Jedi student once again]]. While under his new identity to stop Malak with [[RagtagBunchOfMisfits his weird choice of a crew]], during which he recovers [[TomatoInTheMirror his true identity]] before stopping his former apprentice once and for all.
* Many, MANY theories are afloat with [[ProtagonistWithoutAPast his origins]], [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation actions taken]], and where the hell he went after his redemption. One prevalent theory is that [[Literature/{{Revan}} he confronted the Emperor of his time with the Exile]], though so many inconsistencies are there within it to fully make heads about it.
* Has met Anakin Skywalker... [[LetsYouAndHimFight and the two clashed]]. Strangely enough, even though it keeps occurring every time they meet, the two have nothing but good things to say about the other.
** As of late however, this odd rivalry has warmed into more of an alliance of convenience, as he is one of the few non-GUAG members that know of Vader's status as a mole in the GUAE and Revan tries to help him along as both want to see the end of the Empire.
** When necessary, Vader has granted him use of the 501st Legion when the time comes.
** Has also met Vader's herald, his grandson Kylo Ren, and sympathises with him that his terrible life under Luke and then the First Order led him to adopt the motto of [[Film/TheLastJedi letting the past die]]. He hopes to mentor him into a more moderate viewpoint, but as of now Kylo's devotion to his new view of the dark side is too great.
* Very confused with Vader's son Luke. He went to his temple with the intention of giving him a piece of his mind of how his intention of destroying the dark side in little [[spoiler:Ben Solo]], but left utterly befuddled by the warped mentality Luke told him he had, that the Jedi must die.
* Is VERY approving of Ahsoka Tano, in particular that she left after the Order when they didn't back her up when WrongfullyAccused, seeing this as her first step to TRULY become something great. He occasionally serves as an envoy for Vader when she receives important GUAE intel from him.
* When Revan met with HK-47 for the first time in the Pantheon, [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments he immediately got hugged by his creation]].
* Unlike his era's Jedi Council, Revan is far more approving of the new order as they ''aren't'' just sitting one their asses while war rampages all across the galaxy and are much more willing to get things done by their own hands. Unfortunately, most Jedi from that era very much share the perspective of their predecessors on Revan...[[WellIntentionedExtremist and for good reason]].
** That being said, Yoda is much more understanding of Revan's way of thinking [[BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil since he's more aware of both sides of the force than most other Jedi]]. Still voices the fact that Revan goes much more far than he should otherwise.
* Has well earned the interest of Vergil since he's found a power in [[YinYangBomb balancing both light and dark]]; something no other force user has done before him.
* Found himself on Shay Cormac's hit list for his insistence on going against the status quo of many fronts. Unlike most, however, Revan doesn't find himself TOO worried as many would like to say that Shay [[BullyingADragon might be biting off more than he can chew this time around]].
* It is an understatement that he finds most people from the Empire ''disgusting'' with their abuse of power of the galaxy and is very much ready tear the whole corrupt institute to the best of his abilities. Despite this, there are individuals in the Empire he does not mind.
** Most prominently, he respects Grand Admiral Thrawn for being one of the few Imperial officers that doesn't pursue power, influence, or rank too zealously. In fact, he himself has stated that if Thrawn requested his help in leading the GUAE fleet, he would help even if he had no true loyalty to the GUAE (and in so far as to not associate with Palpatine). Thrawn likewise respects the man more than he does Palpatine, but he doesn't fully trust him with the knowledge that his true loyalty lies with the Chiss Ascendancy.
* Similarly, he respects Darth Plagueis for his studies into life and death and is intrigued by how his expert political machinations helped Palpatine rise to power. This only makes him hate the Galactic Emperor more though, as he killed Plagueis in his sleep [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness immediately after achieving his goal of becoming Supreme Chancellor]].
** The theory that Plagueis' experiments with the Force may have caused the conception of Anakin Skywalker has similarly intrigued him.
* Utterly despises The Major for the time Millennium captured him to study his balance of both the dark and light side to strengthen his own vampires. When he loudly asked him why, the Major simply said,"Because I Love War! And you are one of the chosen to help me create MORE!" Revan finally escaped after Vader leaked info of his capture to the GUAG, which led a black-ops raid on the facility he was being housed in, so he escaped in the ensuing chaos. He is ''not'' impressed with the Major for this love of war.
** Eventually discovered that [[Pantheon/{{Science}} Ryoma Sengoku]], who also wanted to use his mastery of the Force to somehow create a Lockseed capable of matching the Kiwami Lockseed for his own personal use, had a hand in his capture. Revan has sworn to unleash the full wrath of the Dark Side on him if he ever saw him again, which to Ryoma, is an [[IneffectualDeathThreat empty threat]] as he never saw his face during his entire capture. [[TragicMistake How wrong he is]].
* His ultimate aim is to create a new order where the light and dark side can be used in harmony. He has shared these views with maverick Jedi [[Pantheon/MaleAppearances Qui-Gon]] [[Pantheon/PhysicalAppearance Jinn]], who approves of this notion but has warned that the number of Force-users who would embrace this way of thinking are close to none, as unlike him, most of them would not be able to use the dark and light side of the force effectively without damage, which, as he reminds him, may have been a factor in the ancient Jedi and Sith split in ideology.
** Has no positive feelings for his apprentice Obi-Wan though, as his highly regimented lifestyle over Anakin was a reason for his fall to the dark side and allowing Palpatine to take over.
* Also holds a place in the House of [[Pantheon/IdentityIssues Personality]].
* ''"I will finish what we started."''

* Bought by European settlers from its natives in the 17th century, the island that would become the basis for what is now known as Metropolis has since grown into one of the most affluent and substantial cities in the United States, with a population of nearly eleven million people[[note]]New York City has a population of roughly eight million[[/note]]. As likely to be attacked by aliens as bank robbers, it has more than enough lawbreaking and catastrophes to occupy the legions of superheroes that have made it their home—including the first and most famous of them, Superman and his family. Yet despite the endless problems—both big and small, extraordinary and mundane—its streets are clean, its businesses run smoothly, and its inhabitants are ordinary people who find strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. Every Metropolitan knows that once you choose hope, anything's possible.
** Metropolis is composed of six boroughs, connected by tunnels and bridges. New Troy—the original island which was purchased by the European settlers—sits in the very middle surrounded by the others[[note]]the placement of the other islands described here is in relation to New Troy[[/note]], and acts as a main hub for the whole city and its business center. In the outskirts of Metropolis—directly north and across the Hob's River—lies Bakerline, the primary middle-class housing community and home of Jimmy Olsen. Park Ridge to the northwest is home to Metropolis' oldest suburbs, while the wealthiest Metropolitans live in art deco homes and ocean front estates on St. Martin's Island to the east. Queensland Park and the island of Hell's Gate to the south and southeast, respectively, are suburban areas sheltering the city's growing immigrant population; the former is also the home of Perry White and his family.
* Described as "[[VideoGame/MortalKombatVsDCUniverse a shining example of human achievement]]", Metropolis is known as a pinnacle of scientific development and advancement. The greatest scientific minds in the world are gathered at the "[[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Avenue_of_Tomorrow Avenue of Tomorrow]]"—Eighth Avenue between 23rd and 29th—where they race against each other to conduct the bleeding edge research and development that truly makes the city shine, both literally and figuratively. Scientific research is a highly competitive industry in the City of Tomorrow; company branches like [[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Stagg_Enterprises Stagg Enterprises]], [[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Dayton_Industries Dayton Industries]], and [[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Wayne_Enterprises WayneTech]], as well as domestic institutions like [=LexCorp=], Project Cadmus, and S.T.A.R.[[note]]Scientific and Technological Research[[/note]] Labs also help to draw even more great thinkers to the city.
* The ''Daily Planet'', a newspaper considered by many to be the last true beacon of ethical journalism in a world continuously clouded by government censure and political agendas. It is a safe haven for truth-seeker, the foremost of them all being Lois Lane, the best reporter in Metropolis, if not the entire Pantheon. While her husband Clark is no slouch in the journalism department, he is more comfortable with his wife taking the spotlight.
** Depending on the continuity, the ''Daily Planet'' has seen ownership under Lex Luthor or Bruce Wayne.
* Every great city [[TheCityNarrows has a black spot showing the dark side of city life]], and in Metropolis that spot is the {{Wretched Hive}} known as [[https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Suicide_Slum Suicide Slum]]. Officially known as Southside and sometimes referred to as the Simon Project, the area is a hotbed of crime and corruption. With few exceptions such as Lex Luthor and Perry White, the people who live there are trapped in poverty, and despite his best efforts even Superman's attempts to help them have proven mostly ineffective. Gang violence and criminal enterprises run rampant throughout the community—especially between the two biggest rival syndicates, the 100 and Intergang—while local superheroes like the vigilante Gangbuster, Black Lightning, and Steel attempt to keep the murder and drug trafficking in check.
* Upon hearing the city had been inducted into the Pantheon, [[Pantheon/MotivationsForEvil Doomsday]] immediately went on to destroy it again. Thanks to the quick actions of Superman and his allies, Doomsday was forced to retreat before Metropolis suffered any signficant damage. Luthor then offered his services in rebuilding it, enhancing his reputation in the process. [[StatusQuoIsGod Business as usual]].
* [[VideoGame/InjusticeGodsAmongUs Somewhere in the multiverse]], a version of Metropolis was destroyed by [[Pantheon/{{Laughter}} The Joker]], pushing Superman to the brink of insanity and turning him into the ruthless [[Pantheon/{{Fear}} High Councilor]] of the One Earth Regime. During his reign, Metropolis was rebuilt and Superman promised nothing would harm it again. Even now, Regime Superman attempts to rebuild his Regime in the Pantheon by using this Metropolis as a new capitol.
* Thanks to Superman's presence, Metropolis welcomes superhero activities of any kind, which include the [[Pantheon/MarvelComics Marvel heroes]], the Pantheon/PowerRangers, the [[Pantheon/StarWars Jedi]], the [[Pantheon/{{Transformers}} Autobots]] and so on. Any help in keeping the criminal element in check is much appreciated.
* Because of how much it reminds them of San Francisco, the heroic ''Pantheon/StarTrek'' deities constructed a Federation embassy and a Starfleet base there. Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark helped with those efforts.

* Portfolio: BizarroUniverse, OddballDoppelganger, [[GoodIsBadAndBadIsGood Opposite Morality]], [[WorldShapes Cube Planets]], SdrawkcabName, BewareTheSillyOnes
* Alignment: ChaoticStupid
* Symbol: A crummy, box-shaped model of the Earth
* Description: A cube-shaped, rickety version of Earth
* As a fundamentally backwards being, Bizarro came to feel lonely about being the only Bizarro that there is. Using the Duplicator Ray that created him, he made a Bizarro copy of the Earth itself. All its people, heroes and villains, would gain a Bizarro copy. Molded in the imperfect duplicate's image, it's a weird mix of childlike innocence, stupidity and [[BewareTheSillyOnes a certain level of danger]].
* Initially BizarroUniverse was a title by Bizarro himself, however as he already had OddballDoppelganger he felt he should bring his people to the pantheon. Htrae is usually a construct he created, but in the larger DC Multiverse there's a literal BizarroUniverse in the form of Earth 29. The closest Sphere of the Gods is Nightmare, the shadowy opposite of [[Pantheon/DreamsAndNightmares Morpheus' Dreaming]]. Some suggest this might hint he finds them so absurd and ridiculous he shuffled the universe as far away from him as possible.
* The Htrae in the pantheon was molded to be a bizarro variation of the pantheon, to a certain extent. He mainly replicated the different alliances, except for the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction [[EveryoneHasStandards because even he knows that's a bad idea]], given his fight with a Black Lantern Solomon Grundy. Thankfully the replicated Alliance leaders share his absurdity and silliness. Unfortunately [[BewareTheSillyOnes that's not always a good thing]].
* Because of the backwards customs, [[GoodIsBadAndBadIsGood the inverted morality]] and the bizarro language resulting in some ConfusingMultipleNegatives, few ever visit. [[Pantheon/{{Heroism}} Superman]] goes there mainly to make sure that Bizarro isn't causing too much trouble. Frankenstein's Monsters feels slightly at home there since he feels out of place and like Bizarro.
* Since people on Htrae are wonky opposites of their normal selves, the crazier gods in the pantheon's Bizarro selves are normal. Zibarro is a Bizarro Bizarro, a normal person who hates being the OnlySaneMan on Htrae. [[Pantheon/{{Philosophy}} Jenkins Leroy]] is a highly competent general. And [[Pantheon/PersonalAppearanceOther Chin's Bizarro form]], Nihc, being completely against violence, prejudice and genocide.
* Though silly and childish, it is still a bad idea to really mess with Htrae because [[BewareTheSillyOnes Bizarros have the powers of their normal selves, just inverted in purpose]] like Bizarro's ice vision and heat breath. [[ComicBook/AllStarSuperman Lest you forget what they could do]].
* The Pantheon/StarTrek deities recognize it as being similar to the MirrorUniverse, except ''weird''. They'd prefer not to visit Htrae for that reason.

* Similar planets: [[Franchise/{{Dragonball}} Planet Vegeta]], [[Franchise/{{StarWars}} Alderaan]]
* Over twenty years ago, a planet was nearing its end. Krypton, a technologically advanced civilization with a race of potential superhumans, had lived for thousands of years in relative peace. However a greater disaster than the ancient clone war would occur; the planet itself was unstable. Though it would explode, its death throes would have Jor-El send his son to Earth in order to survive. [[SacrificialPlanet Through Krypton's death, Earth would have its greatest hero]].
** The star it orbited, Rao, was revered as an ancient deity. Human astronomers know it as [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LHS_2520 LHS 2520]], a red dwarf star 27 light years from Earth.
* The state of Kryptonian society [[DependingOnTheWriter varies from time to time]]. Sometimes it's a beatific near-utopia and nothing short of utter tragedy that it died, [[CrystalSpiresAndTogas using crystal technology and architecture]]. Other times it's more dystopian, a sterile world isolated from the rest of the universe [[FantasticRacism out of xenophobia]] and having a creepy eugenics vibe from it. Even [[Pantheon/TimePlacement Jor-El]] can't keep the story straight, but he always points out the Kryptonian Council were idiots.
* What's left of Krypton itself is an asteroid belt of kryptonite, however under strict guidance by the Court of the Gods the House of Time and Space will allow people to visit it when it still stood. The city of Kandor managed to escape before the destruction because Brainiac stole it, [[ComicBook/SupermanBrainiac as did Argo City by reverse engineering his technology]]... at least before the kryptonite under them poisoned the lot, leaving [[Pantheon/HeroicAppearances Kara Zor-El]] an orphan saved by her father Zor-El and sent to Earth to reunite with her cousin and [[ComicBook/{{Supergirl}} become another hero]].
* Doomsday may hate [[OmnicidalManiac everyone and everything]], but he hates Krypton the most. He was created in its ancient past, [[FateWorseThanDeath killed over and over by hostile creatures and environments]], so is naturally frightened about the planet. Brainiac is explicitly banned due to stealing the city of Kandor and possibly even having a hand in destroying it. Lex Luthor is banned due to his hatred of Kryptonians and desire to steal its radioactive remains.
* [[Pantheon/{{Siblings}} Princess Leia]] sometimes visits Krypton in order to pay her respects for the Kryptonians who were killed in its destruction. The Galactic Empire, on the other hand, has been barred entry due to having destroyed a sacrificial planet of their own. It's said that the spirits of Krypton tremble upon the fact the Death Star is a Dominion as well.
* It's not quite clear ''what'' caused Krypton to explode, but the consensus is it was probably unstable geology and possibly even fowl play by Brainiac that brought its end. [[Pantheon/DreamsAndNightmares Dream]] and the Endless remember a different origin; the first Despair gave the idea to Rao to create an inherently unstable planet where a civilization would flourish, only to meet its end and the survivor to be full of despair. This failed completely, since the Last Son of Krypton was [[HeroicWillpower Super]][[HopeBringer man]].
* Doesn't have anything to do with the element of the same name. If anything, being so unstable makes the planet antithetical to the noble gas.
