When a mysterious new rebel begins fighting Dominator’s forces, Sylvia becomes jealous.

!!Tropes appearing in ''The Hot Shot'':

----
* AffablyEvil: Brad's cousin as he prepares to kill Wander and Sylvia.
* BabiesEverAfter: [[http://owner-of-wendys.tumblr.com/post/145215303689 The credits animatic is a flash forward]] to a future anniversary of Brad and the face-sucking Princess, and they have children.
* TheBusCameBack: Brad Starlight returns.
* {{Butterface}}: The last princess has this, as Brad finds out a little too late.
* CallBack: The episode begins at the Bingleborp Friendship Festival, same as the show's first episode "The Greatest". The King even mentions [[TemptingFate that he hopes they don't get invaded like the last time]].
* CarFu: Sylvia beats the real Dombot by ramming Brad's hoverbike through its eye.
* DidntThinkThisThrough:
** Sylvia realizes that she didn't think through taking on the Dombot. She still manages to kick its butt because it turns out to be a fake.
** Brad didn't consider the possibility that he might run into a real Dombot.
* DramaticUnmask: Hotshot's hat comes off; he is Brad Starlight.
* FakeUltimateHero: Hotshot turns out to be Brad Starlight, with his cousin posing as a Dombot.
* GreenEyedMonster: Wander calls Sylvia this. She at first thinks it's a real monster and is willing to fight it, but when Wander explains, she resents the remark.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: Brad's cousin invokes this after Wander and Sylvia see the charade.
* INeedToGoIronMyDog: "I've got a thing, somewhere where there's not a real killer robot!"
* LampreyMouth: The last princess is revealed to have this.
* LanternJawOfJustice: Brad points out his big chin as proof that he's a hero.
* LeftTheBackgroundMusicOn: Wander composes a ballad about Hotshot, to Sylvia's discontent.
* MonsterProtectionRacket: Brad's cousin Chad disguises himself as a Dombot, attacks planets, then Brad shows up and rescues them, getting generously rewarded by loads of money and kissed by princesses.
* NotInTheFace: When the real Dombot attacks Brad, he complains, thinking it's still his cousin, that he wasn't supposed to touch his face.
* OhCrap:
** Sylvia when facing what she thinks is a standard Dombot
** Brad's cousin on seeing the real Dombot.
** Brad when he realizes that he's facing a real Dombot.
* ParentalSexualitySquick: In the aforementioned credits animatic, Brad and the face-sucking Princess's children are grossed out by their parents kissing in front of them.
* PassThePopcorn: Sylvia at first when a real Dombot goes after Brad and the latter mistakes it for his cousin.
* StandardHeroReward: Hotshot kisses the princesses of various planets after getting money.
* TooGoodToBeTrue: Sylvia says this about Hotshot.
* TookALevelInBadass: Sylvia has beaten a real Dombot! Without any enhancing weapons.
* UglyGuysHotDaughter: The various rulers whose planets Brad saves all have "Surprisingly Attractive Daughters". Subverted with the Lamprey Princess, who is even ''less'' attractive than her father.
* WeCanRuleTogether: A heroic example; Wander tells Brad that the four of them-- Wander, Sylvia, Brad, and Brad's cousin-- can team up and stop Dominator. Brad refuses because he's too cowardly to take on Dominator.
* WhatTheHellHero: Wander to Sylvia when she has her PassThePopcorn moment.
* YoureJustJealous: Wander says this about Sylvia.

!'''The Night Out'''
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wander_over_yonder_the_night_out.jpg]]

A disguised Dominator takes a night off to explore a nearby city and makes an unlikely new friend--Sylvia.

!!Tropes appearing in ''The Night Out'':

* AllTakeAndNoGive: Dominator believes that this is what ideal friendship should be. When she learns that true friendship is quite the opposite, she decides friends aren't worth it.
* BreadEggsMilkSquick: "Sometimes you just gotta cut loose, have a little fun, blow up a sun, leave an entire solar system in a state of darkness and eternal winter as everyone freezes in their last poses of anguish!"
* CallBack:
** Sylvia's need for a break comes back in full force.
** Once again a villain bent on destruction encounters Wander and Sylvia while not doing anything evil. This time ThePowerOfFriendship doesn't work as it did on Beep Boop.
** Dominator doesn't understand friendship and shows she would rather run things her way rather than reform for others' benefit, as she explained in "My Fair Hatey".
* ContinuityNod: Sylvia's karaoke singing comes back into focus.
* CorruptTheCutie: Sylvia does wild things with "D" but balks at sending a bar owner to his death for understandably wanting recompense to the damage they did.
* ADayInTheLimelight: For Lord Dominator.
* DownerEnding: Dominator leaves in a huff and not learning about friendship, and Sylvia belatedly realizes she just hung out with the OmnicidalManiac that has been chasing her and Wander down while destroying the galaxy.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Sylvia won't leave an alien to die even if they are a criminal and harassing her.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Dominator fails at understanding friendship.
* FedToTheBeast: The karaoke bar owner tries to toss Sylvia and Dominator to his pit monster. Dominator turns the tables on him.
* {{Foil}}:
** In "The Bot," Wander recognized the Probe immediately and nevertheless tried to win it over with success. Sylvia here doesn't recognize Dominator (see PaperThinDisguise) and fails at making Dominator see good
** Sylvia and Dominator bond while running from the bar owner's bouncers, but Dominator shows that she is a villain while Sylvia risks her life to save the bar owner.
* GirlsNightOutEpisode / GoKartingWithBowser: Both tropes are PlayedWith. It's a GirlsNightOutEpisode in the sense that the two most prominent female characters are getting an episode all their own (and even has a song lampshading it) - but the two are mortal enemies on polar opposite sides of the moral spectrum. However, the only reason that Sylvia is GoKartingWithBowser in the first place is because she has no idea that "D" is actually Lord Dominator in disguise.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: Sylvia's voice is out of tune during her karaoke.
* HopeSpot: For one moment it seems that Dominator responds to Sylvia's kindness. Come a few minutes later, she leaves Sylvia to die.
* MoralityChain: Wander for Sylvia. While he's busy helping a bunch of aliens cross the street, she gets up to wild shenanigans with Dominator.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Wander helping alien children cross the street gives Dominator enough time to start having fun with Sylvia, that is by trashing the karaoke bar.
* OhCrap: Sylvia when she recognizes the jacket that Dominator leaves behind as the one that she got with "D".
* OrphanedPunchline: "...and then the ballet dancer says 'Annihilation? I thought her name was Susan!' And then, y'know, she got annihilated."
* PaperThinDisguise: Averted; Dominator changes into punk clothing, wears her hair in a different style and covers her telltale eyes. Not to mention that she saves Sylvia from a karaoke dueler, which Dominator has ''never'' done. With that said, Wander ''does'' recognize her.
** Played straight when Sylvia and Dominator are hiding from the cops by wearing fake mustaches.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Subverted; Dominator leaves Sylvia to die saving the boss she threw to a monster when the latter refuses to listen to her.
* SaveTheVillain: Sylvia rushes down a pit of doom to save the bar owner that Dominator tossed down to feed to a monster.
* ShipSinking: Dominator and Sylvia don't even make it past the friendship stage.
* ShoutOut: The scene where the slug boss opens up a pit in front of him where a cyclops monster is kept is a reference to Jabba the Hut and the Rancor from Star Wars Episode VI.
* SueDonym: Dominator calls herself "D" and nearly gives herself away several times. Sylvia laughs it off.
* VillainEpisode: For Dominator taking a night off.
* VillainsOutShopping: Dominator again, though she takes precautions to disguise herself.
* VillainousRescue: Dominator saves Sylvia from a karaoke dueler.
