Each of these shorts is linked to the other chronologically. In all three, Furrball attempts to find a home, while being chased by two bully alley cats.

'''Short One:''' "K9-Kitty"

Furrball is taken into the house of Lloyd and Bernice, a couple with poor vision, after they mistake him for a seeing-eye dog. After the couple receive new eyeglasses, they find out that a cat is in their house, and get rid of him because they dislike cats.

'''Short Two:''' "Aroma Amore"

After having a stripe accidentally painted on his back, Furrball hides in a junkyard, where he is pursued by Fifi La Fume, who mistakes him for a skunk. After finally removing the stripe, Furrball paints the two alley cats to look like skunks.

'''Short Three:''' "Cross-Country Kitty"

Furrball is taken into Mary Melody's house, where he begins pursuing Sweetie Bird. Mary takes him on vacation to distract him from Sweetie, but he still travels across the country several times in attempts to capture Sweetie. At the end, Furrball is scared off by dogs that Sweetie has brought into the house, and runs back to the cardboard box he had been living in.

''Overall:''

* CardboardBoxHome: Furrball lives in one, but because it falls apart in the rain, he searches for a new home.
* CatsAreMean: Played straight with the two Alley Cats, but inverted with Furrball.
* CreditsGag: Future Game Show Host - Steve Donmyer.
* ADayInTheLimelight: For Furrball the Cat.
* EvilDuo: The two Alley Cats.
** Mythology Gag. The dumber of the pair first appeared in a [[WesternAnimation/KittyKornered 1946 cartoon]] by Creator/BobClampett.
* ThreeShorts

''K-9 Kitty:''

* BlindWithoutEm: Lloyd and Bernice can't see anything without glasses. Lloyd accidentally dropped his and Bernice's glasses down the garbage disposal, has ordered two new pairs and is waiting for them to be delivered.
* BroomstickQuarterstaff: Bernice attacks Furrball with a broom when she finds out he is a cat.
* MistakenForDog: Since Lloyd and Bernice can't see very well without their glasses, they mistake Furrball for a seeing-eye dog, and Furrball takes advantage of the situation by acting like a dog.
* TakingAdvantageOfGenerosity: Furrball pretends to act like a dog so that Lloyd and Bernice will give him a home.
* YankTheDogsChain: The short ends with Lloyd and Bernice getting their new glasses, seeing Furrball for the Cat he is, and kick him out of their house.

''Aroma Amore:''

* AbhorrentAdmirer: If it weren't for her stench, Furrball would probably have returned Fifi's affections.
* AnticipatoryBreathSpray: Furrball takes out breath spray when Fifi begins flirting with him. This was before he realized she's a skunk.
* AttractiveBentSpecies:
** With just the addition of a stripe down his back, Furrball was immediately a "cute boy skunk" that Fifi wanted for a boyfriend. Without it, she doesn't even notice any similarities.
** A subtle one. When Furrball first sees Fifi, it's in such a way to where her stripe isn't visible. This implies he thought she was a fellow cat at first and was completely on board with the idea of being Fifi's boyfriend until he realized that she was a skunk.
* BinomiumRidiculus: At the beginning of the short, Furrball is named ''Scaredicus Caticus'', and the two Alley Cats chasing him are named ''Cataclysmus Imbecilious'' and ''Catatonia Moronicus''.
* EarnYourHappyEnding: After having put up with Fifi and the two Alley Cats, Furrball ends up feeling sorry for Fifi when she becomes heartbroken. To kill two birds with one stone, Furrball paints the two knocked-out Alley Cats to look like skunks, and Fifi pursues them.
* HeartBeatsOutOfChest: Happens to a love-struck Fifi after she sees Furrball, the latter having been painted to look like a skunk.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Having tortured Furrball throughout this short and the previous one, the two Alley Cats get painted like skunks and chased by Fifi.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Fifi is instantly smitten with Furrball the moment she sees the skunk on his stripe. For Furrball, the feeling seemed mutual until he noticed her stripe.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Furrball feels guilty when he removes the stripe on his back, causing Fifi to think her beloved boy skunk abandoned her.
* SmellySkunk: Fifi. Furrball didn't mind having her as a girlfriend until he noticed her smell.
* TalkingWithSigns: Furrball holds up a sign that says, "SKUNK!", when he realizes that Fifi is a skunk.
* TestYourStrengthGame: When the two Alley Cats mistake Furrball for a skunk, they run into one of these. The bell at the top comes undone, falls on them, and knocks them out, giving Furrball just enough time to paint them to look like skunks so Fifi can pursue them instead of him.
* WingdingEyes: Fifi's eyes become pink hearts when she sees the supposed skunk boy, Furrball.

''Cross-Country Kitty:''

* BalloonBelly: After his third failed pursuit of Sweetie, Furrball inflates himself with helium at a gas station so he can deflate his way back to Miami.
* TheCameo: Sam Sheepdog, Charlie Dog, and Marc Antony appear as three of the dogs Sweetie invites to Mary's apartment to celebrate Furrball's "birthday".
* PunnyName: Mary Melody, who was named after the ''WesternAnimation/MerrieMelodies'' series of shorts.
* RuleOfThree: Furrball pursues Sweetie three times; the first happens when Mary leaves to buy him a can of soda, the second when Mary decides to go swimming by herself, and the third when Mary takes a nap.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After Mary takes Furrball back to her house at the end of the short, he gets scared by the dogs that Sweetie invited earlier and runs back to his cardboard box. He puts up a sign that says, "Home Sweet Home", but his cardboard box falls apart and the water floods it.
* SeriesContinuityError: Acme Acres is revealed to be in California in this short, but in the "[[Recap/TinyToonAdventuresS1E4TestStressed Test Stressed]]" episode segment, "Never Too Late to Loon", it is revealed to be in Missouri.
* SodaCanShakeUp: An accidental version when Mary gets Furrball a can of soda pop. Due to being jittery from racing back in time, Furrball ends up shaking the can and it sprays in his face when he opens it.
