1	During a lunch break at school, the girls meets a roller derby/Deathball (dodgeball on roller skates) team called the Derby-tantes who invite Buttercup to join their team. She quickly accepts but in doing so, neglects Blossom and Bubbles in the process. Princess, seizing the opportunity, tries to convince the two that Buttercup has abandoned them and to let her be a replacement for her.

3	!! Tropes
4	* BigDamnHeroes: The Derby-tantes arrive to come help the girls when Princess is on the verge of beating them.
5	* ClassicallyTrainedExtra: The monster that Princess summons treats his rampage as more of a acting job.
6	* FriendshipBribe: Princess Morbucks bribed the Derby tantes to let Buttercup into their team, and they agreed because they needed the money for new equipment. Subverted when in the end they come to genuinely llike her as a member.
7	* HeelFaceTurn: The Derby-tantes were initially paid off by Princess to distract Buttercup, but come to genuinely like and respect her after Buttercup remains loyal to her sisters, and turn on Princess as a result.
8	* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Twofold for Princess. 1) The Derby-tantes she paid off turning on her and coming to the girls aid, and 2) The crystal she trapped Blossom and Bubbles in being used to destroy her robot.
9	* MakeMyMonsterGrow: The monster Princess hires has this ability.
10	* NearVillainVictory: If it wasn't for the Derby-tantes turning on Princess, she certainly would have won.
11	* OcularGushers: Bubbles of the TearsOfJoy variety when Buttercup comes to help them at the last minute.
12	* OnlyInItForTheMoney: The initial motivation of the Derby-tantes, who explain they needed the money to keep funding their team.
13	* SayMyName: Bubbles to Buttercup when the latter comes back to them.
14	* TearsOfJoy: Bubbles after Buttercup comes to rescue her and Blossom.
15	* ThereCanOnlyBeOne: Princess's new motive in this series. She doesn't just want to ''be'' a Powerpuff Girl, she wants to be the ''only'' Powerpuff Girl.
16	* XanatosGambit: How Princess's plan goes about. She separates Buttercup from her sisters and puts Blossom and Bubbles into a position where they need help via a monster attack. If they don't accept Princess, then no biggie, the competition will be out of the way regardless. If they do (which did happen), Princess will "save" the girls, and then take care of them herself. Even when Buttercup discovered the ploy, Princess had a mecha on hand that would be more then enough to destroy Buttercup. She only lost because the Derby-tantes interfered.
