----
!! "Lock 'N' Loud"
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Mr. Loud spends most of the episode being annoyed that the children don't lock the front door at night. Near the end, Leni notices the backdoor is unlocked and proceeds to lock it while Mr. Loud is outside. He left the door unlocked to make a quick trip to Mr. Grouse's house.
* BigNo: Done by Clyde when he hears Lisa say that she wants to test the alligator pit on him.
* BlatantLies: Lisa's denial that she installed cameras in the bathroom, immediately after she admitted to have done this. She does this again after she claims to Lori and Leni that she needs "stool samples" from them for security reasons.
* BrickJoke: Lana spends most of the episode trying to train Charles into being a proper guard dog. At the very end, when he bites Mr. Loud on the butt, she sarcastically praises him for finally doing his job.
* ButtBiter: At the end, Charles bites Mr. Loud on the tush thanks to him having bacon on his pants.
* DontExplainTheJoke: Luan when she tells a pun about the mousetraps she laid near the basement door. She then proceeds to stumble into a whole bunch of them.
-->Luan: These will put in "ro-DENT" in the burglar's plans! (laughs) Get it? They're mousetraps!
* FoodAsBribe: Mr. Loud gives Mr. Grouse a basket of muffins in exchange for pretending to be robbed to spook his kids. But the muffins contained walnuts, which Mr. Grouse happens to be allergic to.
* GetAHoldOfYourselfWoman: Done by Lola to Lori when she panics. Lori thanks Lola for doing so, then immediately threatens to get back at her for it.
* GoneHorriblyRight: Mr. Loud is successful in getting his kids to lock up the house in case of burglars. He just didn't expect how far they'd take his warnings, as shown when finds himself on the receiving end of their precautions when he finds himself locked out of the house.
* ImagineSpot: The Loud kids imagine a burglar taking away the things they love the most; Luna her axe (guitar), Lana her axe (an actual axe), Lucy her "soulmate" (Edwin's bust), Luan her "soulmate" (Mr. Coconuts), Lisa her life's work (her chemistry set), and Leni her life's work (her favorite puzzle).
* PlotAllergy: Mr. Grouse turns out to be allergic to walnuts. See FoodAsBribe above.
* PoliceCodeForEverything: Lincoln has a copy of the Royal Woods police code book. The following codes are used in the episode:
** 11-25: failure to pick up dog poop.
** 10-15: a burglar has been arrested.
* RunningGag:
** Mrs. Loud falls in the front yard after Mr. Loud attempts to show her his dance moves.
** Mr. Loud forgets about his wife after yelling at the kids about not locking the front door.
** Clyde, Mr. and Mrs. Loud tells Bobby that he has already stated their name and business when he interrogates them outside the Loud house.
* SharkPool: Lisa mentions she installed an alligator pit in the house, but Clyde leaves before she can test it on him.
* SpitTake: Clyde and Lincoln try to drink coffee, but find it so disgusting they immediately spit it out.
* SureLetsGoWithThat: This is Lisa's response when she claims that she needs Lori and Leni's stool sample for her security system.
* SurpriseSlideStaircase: Lisa turns the stairs in the house into one of these. Clyde ends up activating it.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Early in the day, Lincoln and Lynn fill a vat with hot bacon grease, intending to scald the burglar with it. Come nightfall, when they dump it on the burglar, it's all congealed together. Bacon grease won't stay as a scalding hot liquid if left out at room temperature for several hours.
* Toilet Humour: Luan says "I think it's the perfect place to dump our stuff" when the Louds decide to hide their stuff in the bathroom, a thinly veiled reference to the bathroom being the place where one "takes a dump" (a phrase used outright in "Intern for the Worse").
* TruthInTelevision: Lisa says that Royal Woods, Michigan has a very low crime rate and, overall, is a very safe city. Royal Oak, Michigan (the town that Royal Woods is based on) also has a very low crime rate and is consistently ranked as being not only one of the safest cities in the state of Michigan, but in the entire United States.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: When Lola slaps Lori to snap her out of her panic state, Lori angrily tells her that she will get her back, but she was never shown doing so.
* WhatTheHellHero: When Mr. Grouse reveals that he had pretended to be robbed as part of a plan from Mr. Loud, Mrs. Loud and the kids call him out on his weaselish scheme.
----

!! "The Whole Picture"
* BathsAreFun: One of the memories Lincoln tries to recreate is of him having a bath with Lynn.
* BigNo: Lincoln lets one out when he realizes he forgot to put film in the camera.
* BittersweetEnding: Lincoln may have lost his childhood photos, but his sisters help him keep those memories alive.
* CallBack: When Clyde dresses up as Lynn Sr. for one of the photos, his back is turned to the camera, a nod to how in Season 1, Rita and Lynn Sr.'s faces were never shown.
* ContinuityNod: This isn't the first time Mr. Grouse dressed up as Santa Claus.
* CrazyPrepared: Clyde tells Lincoln he accidentally deleted all his photos once, but got them back in an instant because his dads automatically backed up the photos to the Cloud. Unfortunately, Lynn Sr. never set up the Cloud to begin with, and thus Lincoln's photos are gone for good.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: When Lincoln gets the onscreen message prompting him to make room for a new file, he instantly clicks "yes." This causes all of his photos to be permanently deleted.
* FaintInShock:
** Lincoln faints when he realizes that he forgot to put film in the camera before taking all the photos.
** Clyde faints as usual when he sees Lori. Clyde also faints when he sees himself dressed as Lori in a mirror.
* FiveStagesOfGrief: Mentioned by Clyde when Lincoln mourns his lost pictures.
* FoodAsBribe: Lincoln gets Mr. Grouse to take part in his restaged Christmas photo by offering him some of his dad's lasagna.
* GooGooGetup: Lincoln dresses himself in a diaper as part of his plan to re-stage some old baby photos that he accidentally deleted off his computer.
* HumanCannonball: Clyde does this as Lincoln tries to remember who performed at a circus-themed birthday party.
* InconsistentDub: In the Hebrew version of the show, during the scene where Lincoln and Clyde review the staged photos they've taken so far, the nosebleed that Clyde had upon being aroused by the image of himself dressed as Lori was removed, despite every other instance of it being left alone.
* IHaveToGoIronMyDog: The sisters’ various excuses for not wanting to help Lincoln recreate his pictures.
* NoPlansNoPrototypeNoBackup: Lincoln doesn’t have a backup of his photos anywhere, hence the reason why he can't get them back after accidently deleting them. He learns his lesson at the end of the episode, where he explicitly makes a backup when he starts his new library.
* PoorCommunicationKills: A non-fatal example. But when Lincoln asks if his sisters want to help him re-create family photos, he fails to mention he deleted all his childhood memories. Had he done so, they may have agreed to stick around and help.
* NoodleIncident: Lynn mentions that Lincoln once chipped his tooth, but the details aren't revealed.
* Nosebleed: Clyde got this not when he saw Lori, again, but when he saw himself dressed as her when helping Lincoln relive his memories of his oldest sister.
* PullARabbitOutOfMyHat: Lincoln got scared by a magician's rabbit at his 7th birthday party.
* RapidFireNo: By Lincoln when he sees his pictures being deleted.
* ShouldntWeBeInSchoolRightNow: The episode is clearly stated to be set on a Monday, yet none of the Loud kids are seen in school and the events evidently take place over the course of a whole day. There's no mention that they're on holiday either. For that same matter, shouldn't Mr. Loud be at work if it's a Monday?
* ShoutOut:
** When Charles eats his lasagna, Mr. Loud laments "I hate Mondays".
** The wagon icon for VideoGame/TheOregonTrail can be seen on the computer's desktop.
** Lincoln's cowboy costume is a dead ringer for Woody.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Deleting pictures in a camera memory without copying them to the desktop will delete them permanently instead of sending them to the Recycle Bin, like what happened with Lincoln.
* UnderwaterFartGag: Clyde farts in the bathtub to recreate Lincoln's bathtime memories with Lynn Jr., knowing that Lynn, herself, is a constant Gasshole.
* Wedgie: Lincoln accidentally inflicts a hanging wedgie on himself during a flashback when he climbs the shelf to get some cookies, but loses balance and falls with his pants getting snagged on one of the cupboard doors.
