It doesn't occur to him until it's too late that because the Wraith are plugged right into the Hive Ship and fluids are exchanged during hibernation, his men would unwittingly pass on the disease to the ship itself and infect its systems. Justified, as Todd was ill, desperate, and not thinking clearly. |
