10	* HopeSpot: The Extrapolator runs on this. It shows the damned a version of their worst memory in which things go right, but then finds a way to make them even worse.
11	* InsistentTerminology: Tyler insists that he didn't rape four women, he just ''date'' raped them, and by accepting the date, he was entitled to sex.
12	* InstantCostumeChange: In the time it takes Lara to shut the door on Tulip, remove the chain lock, and open the door back up (about five seconds, give or take), she's completely changed her appearance.
13	* OddFriendship: Tulip seems to be striking one up with Lara, not knowing that she's an agent of the Grail.
14	* OffingTheOffspring: One of hell's inmates was a single mother who set her children on fire.
15	* VillainWithGoodPublicity: It seems that Grail Industries may be this, considering that their logo is emblazoned on the TV sets at the tech store.

17	* WhamShot: The Blu-Ray with Creator/MarkHarelik's audition and subsequent murder is branded "Property of Grail Industries".
18	* WhatYouAreInTheDark: Eugene is basically, genuinely good, despite his attempted posturing to adapt in Hell. Hitler takes advantage of this by having Eugene display his good nature for the security camera. This leads to Eugene being thrown into the pit and experiencing an even worse version of his worst memory, which makes him much more agreeable to Hitler's plan to escape Hell.
19	* WhoWantsToLiveForever: Cassidy's main qualm against turning Denis into a vampire. He talks about this, at length, with Tulip:
