1	MK begins to learn the 72 transformations, and tries to use the power when Pigsy's sign is stolen by Spider bots sent off by Spider Queen, who is desperately trying to find a way to fight back against Lady Bone Demon.

5	* CallBack: Huntsman still has the bag of tea Sandy gave him in "To Catch A Leaf."
6	* DarknessEqualsDeath: How Huntsman and Strong Spider's deaths are portrayed; the lights in the tunnels flicker as Mayor appears behind them, one flicker shows him [[OffscreenTeleportation suddenly directly behind them]] [[HumanoidAbomination in his hulked-out form]], then the screen goes black and ''stays'' that way.
7	* HeelFaceDoorSlam: Despite still showing growing displeasure and uncertainty at following Lady Bone Demon’s orders, and still carrying the tea bag Sandy had given him, Huntsman is killed by Mayor before he can even ''begin'' a proper redemption arc.
8	* HeroicSacrifice: While she pridefully refuses MK's offer to join in an EnemyMine against the Lady Bone Demon. The Spider Queen does confront the demon herself, forcing MK to leave her behind while she stalls the Lady Bone Demon on her own.
9	* InvoluntaryShapeshifting: MK doesn't have much control over the 72 transformations yet, leading to his hands turning into puppies against his will - or a mop. He manages to get the hang of it by the end of the episode, however.
10	* NothingIsScarier: The audience never knows how the three spider demons died. But if Syntax's screams are any indication, it wasn't pleasant.
11	* PetTheDog: After the two share a moment of connection over how Lady Bone Demon played them both, Spider Queen tells MK to escape, while she attempts to faces off against Lady Bone Demon.
12	* RightForTheWrongReasons: When MK sees Spider Queen and her henchmen sealing the exits of their lair and Syntax being ordered to gather materials, he correctly realizes Spider Queen is trying to rebuild the mech he destroyed. However, he thinks she's going to use it to take over the city again, when in reality she's hoping to use it to fight Lady Bone Demon.
13	* ScreamDiscretionShot: Syntax's death is shown this way, with the camera cutting away from him and the Mayor before we can see what happens. Strong Spider and Huntsman are both shown reacting to the scream before being taken out themselves.
14	* SympathyForTheDevil: Even after she's attempted to kill him multiple times. MK still feels for Spider Queen when he sees that like him, she's terrified of Lady Bone Demon and was used by her.
