Go To

After retrieving the Spark of Life that Lord Felldrake intended to steal from Mount Rushmore, the Caballeros are assigned to guard it while Xandra and the nieces are at a soiree. When they get bored, they stuff it into the Cabana's bear rug, bringing WesternAnimation/HumphreyTheBear back to life.
----
* AccidentalRhyme: Donald and José say one, which Panchito mistakes for singing.
--> '''Donald:''' Stop right there, bear!
--> '''José:''' We have chased you all over the square!
--> '''Panchito:''' [[CallBack In goblin jail]]!
* AnimalGenderBender: Eugenia has male peacock feathers.
* AnimateInanimateObject: The Spark of Life is a jewel that can turn inanimate objects into living beings. Over the course of the episode, Felldrake uses it to bring Washington's statues to life, whereas the Caballeros accidentally bring the Bear Rug back to life with it.
* BearsAreBadNews:
** Don't put the Spark of Life into a bear rug unless you want a bear rampaging through the city.
** Panchito tries to justify putting the Spark of Life inside the Bear Rug with this trope, as it's the safest hiding place because "bears are scary".
* BearyFriendly: Despite being a huge brown bear, the Bear Rug never acts aggressive.
* BearyFunny: The Bear Rug running loose in New Quackmore leads to some wacky slapstick.
* BeethovenWasAnAlienSpy: The ghosts of the four presidents whose faces adorn Mt. Rushmore guard the Spark of Life, which was hidden in the mountain.
* BreatherEpisode: While the other episodes aren't '''''that''''' dark, this one is just an adventure in New Quackmore while Sheldgoose and Felldrake are mostly MIA since Sheldgoose has other priorities.
* TheBusCameBack: Dapper Duck makes his first reappearance in over 70 years, having not been seen since his sole appearance in 1946's "Donald's Double Trouble" (where he was unnamed).
* CallBack: After Donald and José say an AccidentalRhyme, Panchito assumes they are starting a musical number and begins singing "Goblin Jail" from the previous episode.
* TheChase: The episode revolves around the Caballeros chasing a bear rug-turned live bear with the Spark of Life in its stomach around New Quackmore.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When Donald tears off Sheldgoose's robe and screams, Panchito first thinks Donald was Felldrake the whole time.
* CostumeTestMontage: Xandra goes through one, trying to pick a dress for the New Quackmore gala.
* DeflectorShields: Sheldgoose's manor has one. The Caballeros try to find their way around it.
* DirtyCoward: Dapper Duck is quick to leave Daisy when a giant statue is about to fall on both of them.
* DoppelgangerDating: Daisy introduces Donald to her new date, Dapper, who is pretty much a perfect-looking Donald (emphasis on [[DirtyCoward looking]]).
* EskimosArentReal: When he explains that he went to the moon with robots, one the judges claimed it was unbelievable, because there's no such thing as the moon.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin / StealthPun: The episode title. "More or less" means "to some extent" or "somewhat", which is exactly how relevant Mount Rushmore is in the episode.
* FriendlyGhost: The four presidential ghosts.
* InstantCostumeChange: Xandra immediately changes back from her gala dress to her regular goddess outfit when she chases after the bear rug.
* MundaneUtility: Ari pulls out a hand grenade from {{Hammerspace}} - to use it for making popcorn.
* MythologyGag: Humphrey initially starts off as a bear rug, a reference to "Rugged Bear" where he disguises himself as a rug in Donald's house. Both episodes have a scene where a piece of popcorn lands next to Humphrey and he eats it.
* NoSocialSkills: Xandra, having spent hundreds of years trapped in a book, has no idea how to behave at a formal event.
* OldWindbag: An elderly pelican named [[MeaningfulName Commodore Windbag]] tells a long story to Xandra and the the triplets at the gala.
* SkewedPriorities: Sheldgoose would rather write his speech rather than plot a plan against the Caballeros. Justified that he really wants to keep his presidency.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Sheldgoose is on the receiving end of this, taking off for months without warning when you have duties to perform as president of the New Quackmore Institute would be highly frowned upon. Similarly when [[Recap/LegendOfTheThreeCaballerosS1E03PyramidLifeCrisis he explains he was on the moon, and there were robots,]] [[CassandraTruth nobody believes such an outrageous claim.]]
* TookALevelInJerkass: Daisy has become a total jerk in this episode to the point where she starts dating a look-alike of Donald to spite him.
* WhamEpisode: Donald, José, Panchito and Xandra discover that Baron von Sheldgoose is in cahoots with Felldrake, and that Felldrake is still trapped in his staff.
* WhamShot: TheReveal after Donald has a tussle with Felldrake in the New Quackmore fountain, and rises up from the water wearing Felldrake's cloak.
--> '''José:''' *gasp* Donald was Felldrake the whole time?!
--> '''Panchito:''' I did not see that coming.
--> '''Sheldgoose (after rising from the water):''' No, ''I'' am Felldrake!
--> '''Panchito:''' *gasp* Angry neighbor guy and his stick have been Felldrake the whole time?!
--> '''José:''' ''I'' did not see ''that'' coming!
--> '''Felldrake:''' No, ''' ''I'' ''' am Felldrake!
--> '''Xandra:''' Felldrake is still trapped in the staff?!
