After a series of humiliations, Quackerjack disguises himself as a psychologist and tells Darkwing and another man, Mr. Meekles, that they've missed their callings in life: Darkwing possesses an ideal temperament for serving tea and Mr. Meekles should take up superhero work. With his enemy in retirement and his replacement totally inept, Quackerjack can easily get away with anything he likes.
!! This episode includes examples of the following tropes:
* DamselInDistress: Gosalyn is kidnapped and taken hostage by Quackerjack.
* ExtendoBoxingGlove: When Launchpad and Gosalyn run into Quackerjack, the VillainousHarlequin points a gun at Gosalyn. Launchpad steps in front of her...and gets hit by a boxing glove from the gun's barrel.
* GoThroughMe: [[FriendToAllChildren Launchpad]] steps in front of Gosalyn to protect her from Quackerjack.
* HumanKnot: While appearing in a charity wrestling event, Darkwing faces a huge wrestler specializing in molding opponents' bodies like balloon sculptures. Darkwing falls to his grip, and gets reshaped. Darkwing appoints Launchpad as his replacement when he gets called away on a case, but the wrestler fails to do the same to him.
* JumpingOnAGrenade: A disguised Quackerjack slips Darkwing a fake tip that Quackerjack will blow up a bank with a bomb in a rubber chicken. Finding the chicken, Darkwing jumps on it. He lies curled around it for hours until Launchpad and Gosalyn see a news story about "the rubber chicken crisis" and arrive to tell him it's not explosive.
* ProWrestlingIsReal: Averted; Darkwing participates in a charity wrestling event, and a discussion between him and Gosalyn reveals that both of them know it's fake. Launchpad, however, was under the impression that it was real and his horrified reaction sells it ("Fake? Wrestling is fake?!").
