4	* AttackBackfire: Maeby plans to gather incriminating evidence on the undercover cop (whom she believes to be Perfecto) so that he won't be able to get her kicked out of her fifth year of high school. To do so, she sleeps with Perfecto, only to learn that he isn't the undercover cop, and isn't even of legal age. This gets ''her'' thrown in jail by the real cop, Rocky Richter.
5	* DoubleMeaningTitle: On "senioritis" (as Maeby has repeated her senior year five times) and "Seńor" (as Maeby has a Mexican boyfriend).
6	* {{Foreshadowing}}: There are hints to the fact that Fakeblock isn't real, including: George Michael's constant nervousness about the company expanding (which ''should'' be a good thing), Jim Cramer saying "I never do this, hell, it's not even a stock yet.
