Prismo needs Finn and Jake’s help to stop a catastrophic event from happening somewhere in the multiverse.

* AlternativeSelfNameChange: The Farmworld version of Billy is named Bobby.
* ApocalypseHow: Implied that if Farmworld!Finn manages to open a portal to the multiverse, it will cause a Class X-5, possibly Z. Exactly how is not explained, but as it involves the Lich, it wouldn't have been pretty.
* BelatedHappyEnding: Farmworld Finn and his world were left in extremely dire straits at the end of "[[Recap/AdventureTimeS5E2JakeTheDog Jake the Dog]]"--. The best thing that happened to it was that whole timeline being seemingly erased for the previous one. Here it turns out it wasn't erased, which allows Finn, Jake, and Prismo to destroy the Lich and alter reality so Ice King's crown was destroyed before Finn ever used it.
* BittersweetEnding: FridgeHorror says the Farmworld's BelatedHappyEnding isn't entirely happy. The Mushroom Bomb still went off and the damage done by Finn, the Lich and the Destiny Gang stay how they are. Given the proceedings of the main timeline, though, it's likely that, in a few hundred years, things will be even better off than the main timeline due to the Lich having been taken care of ''much'' earlier.
* CelestialBureaucracy: Prismo '''emphasizes''' the fact that he does have a superior he answers, and one that would hold him responsible for the multiverse getting screwed over by the Lich (and not just him given how by proxy, both Finn and Jake would be for it too.) Considering Prismo's capabilities, it says '''a lot''' on how powerful Prismo's superior must be, especially if it takes the destruction of the multiverse to get them involved.
* ContinuityNod: [[Recap/AdventureTimeS6E6Breezy Finn's hand-thorn]] becomes a grass whip [[Recap/AdventureTimeS6E43TheComet once again]], this time to defend Jake from the Lich and free himself when he's immobilised in ice.
* FreezeFrameBonus: Doubles as {{Foreshadowing}}. The Maid has an additional instruction on its base that Finn neglects to read out: "P.S. don't mess around and point the Maid at your buddy, you goof. You already screwed up once." Ultimately, the solution Finn arrives at is to use the Maid on the Lich-possessed Farmworld!Jake, turning him back into a normal dog.
* FurryConfusion: Jake mocks his Farmworld counterpart, being a normal dog, and he's not really sure what dogs are into.
* HijackedByGanon: In the first half of the episode, it seems as though Finn and Jake will have to defeat Farmworld!Finn to prevent him from destroying the multiverse, but it turns out he was just a pawn of the Lich, who is the real villain.
* KnightTemplar: Farmworld!Finn, driven mad by the Ice King's crown and the loss of his world, and manipulated by The Lich, believes that he is "saving" his people by encasing them in ice, that what he is doing will save his world and allow them to live across the entire multiverse - only when the portal is opened does the Lich show his hand and [[HeelFaceTurn prompt Farmworld!Finn's rejection of him.]]
* MeaningfulEcho: When explaining why he can't bring himself to destroy Farmworld!Finn, Finn says "That is me." "That's me" repeats Finn's reflection in the Finn Sword, to which Jake responds that [[ComicallyMissingThePoint he heard him the first time.]]
* ObviouslyEvil: The Lich in Farmworld!Jake's body. Jake notes that he's not even trying to hide it, as he still has his original skull face.
* OhCrap:
** Prismo appears to be on the verge of a panic attack throughout most of the episode. This is due to the multiverse being threatened and that if it does go, his mysterious boss would hold him responsible.
** The Lich gets one when he sees the Maid about to hit and atomize him.
* PoorCommunicationKills: Zigzagged. Prismo deliberately neglects to explain what he meant by saying "take care of" Farmworld!Finn. Although Finn initially intends to use the Maid to heal his alternate self's madness, Jake seems to think they're meant to kill him instead, an option neither of them can bring themselves to do in spite of the danger posed by his plans. They instead decide to try to [[TakeAThirdOption steal the Enchiridion and solve the problem nonviolently]] - it doesn't work, and the Finns ultimately use the Maid to destroy the Lich.
* {{Retcon}}: This episode retcons the animation error in "Jake the Dog", where Simon's corpse was wearing the crown even after Finn took it. Here it is explained that Prismo did a CosmicRetcon and placed the crown back on his head to destroy it forever.
* SequelEpisode: To "Finn the Human"/"Jake the Dog".
* TheUnReveal: We never find out ''what'' was negating Prismo's powers in the alternate reality, or the identity of [[YouHaveFailedMe Prismo's boss of whom he is terrified of having to answer to should reality be destroyed]], at least until the spinoff ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTimeFionnaAndCake''.
* WaveMotionGun: The Maid turns out to be one.
* WhamLine: Prismo gives a bit of a surprising one when discussing Ice Finn's multiverse portal attempt:
--> '''Prismo:''' Now if that happens, my boss, ''let me repeat that, '''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis My. Boss.]]''' will hold '''me''' responsible.'' And by proxy, ya'll both will be in the dip too.
* WhamShot: Big Destiny walks up to the portal in a daze with a bag of gems, prompting the confusion of the main characters... until the Lich walks up behind him.
