Yuya prevails in his Duel against Jack, who takes his loss with stride and acknowledges Yuya's mastery of the Four Dimension Dragons, but is unable to hear the cry of his soul. As he departs, Reiji and Himika, with Reira in her arms, appear before Yuya.

Discussing Reira, Reiji notes that Zarc's evil soul awakened within Reira when the Four Dimension Dragons were Summoned, and because Reira has not smiled, Zarc's soul remains inside of her. While Yuya questions what more he can do to make Reira happy again, Reiji acknowledges Yuya as a Youth Duelist, having cleared all the challenges he set up for Yuya. However, Reiji continues that one must also pass a Pro Test as a prerequisite to be acknowledged as a Pro Duelist. Unable to wait to save Reira and the world, Yuya requests that he sit the Pro Test now, which Reiji accepts.

Reiji, as the examiner, announces Yuya's participation in the Pro Test, with the former as the latter's opponent. Their Duel takes place in the Action Field, Entertainment Colosseum, similar to the one back in their first Duel.

Yuya, by Reiji's insistence, takes the first turn, and successfully Summons all of the Four Dimension Dragons in an instant. Reiji then takes his turn, Pendulum Summons three copies of Hell Armageddon, which he then uses to attack Starve Venom, Clear Wing, and Dark Rebellion. Yuya, with their help, successfully parries all three Hell Armageddons' attacks.

As he thanks his Dragons, Yuya realizes that all Zarc wanted was to make everyone, monsters included, happy with his Duels. However, humanity's desire for more violent Duels drove him insane, turning against them, and eventually, to the world. Reiji tests his resolve, Fusion Summoning Purplish Hell Armageddon, Synchro Summoning Whitest Hell Armageddon, and Xyz Summoning Darkness Hell Armageddon.

!!This episode contains the following tropes:
* ABoyAndHisX: Yuya and the Four Dimension Dragons are displaying several traits of this to the point of working together and helping each other's backs in this episode.
* BondCreatures: Since Yuya is also Zarc, the Four Dimension Dragons are now under his care.
* CallBack:
** Lampshaded; Yuya and Reiji's Duel takes place in a similar Action Field as their first Duel.
** Reiji Pendulum Summoning three copies of Hell Armageddon is this to his first successful Pendulum Summoning, where he also Pendulum Summoned three copies of Hell Armageddon.
* DragonRider: Yuya takes this up to eleven when he starts riding Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing and even Starve Venom.
* EasilyForgiven: Justified with Yuri. Although he DID commit horrible acts that ultimately resulted with Zarc's inevitable resurrection, it was Zarc who influenced him into doing so. And then there's Leo parenting style.
* ForHappiness: This episode revealed that Zarc wanted everyone - monsters included to enjoy the duel.
* GracefulLoser: Jack takes his defeat in stride and acknowledges Yuya's mastery of the Four Dimension Dragons, but points out that he cannot feel Yuya's soul burning.
* HeelFaceTurn: Yuri, as a result of Zarc's soul being extracted from him. To be fair though, he UsedToBeASweetKid before Leo turned him into Zarc 2.0.
* KarmaHoudini: Downplayed and justified. While Yuri gets away with causing most of the problems throughout the story, such as kidnapping Rin and Ruri, working with Academia to satisfy his BloodKnight pleasures, and carding Yusho in front of Yuya, it was Zarc's influence that turns him into who he is today. It also helps that he's stuck inside Yuya after the second Zarc and Ray fiasco.
* MagicalIncantation: Averted as with the Executive versions of Caesar, Temujin, and Alexander. There are no unique Summoning chants for the Extra Deck/Pendulum D/D/D Monsters.
* MotiveDecay: Zarc originally wanted everyone, the audience, his opponent and even the monsters themselves to enjoy his duels but the audience's desire for more violent duels continued drove him insane trying to make them happy.
* MythologyGag:
** A version of Red Daemon's Dragon is defeated for the final time in the series trying to punch out the boosted attack of the hero's original ace? Are we talking about Red Daemon's Dragon Scar-right vs Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon or its original incarnation versus Yusei's Junk Warrior?
** Reiji's new Extra Deck/Pendulum Hell Armageddon monsters each resemble a previous BigBad:
*** Purplish Hell is a winged demonic entity with a draconic...tail/crotch. Exactly like [[Anime/YuGiOh Zorc Necrophades, but also of Diabound]].
*** Whitest Hell is mechanical and has two disconnected floating clawed hands like [[Anime/YuGiOh5Ds Z-One]].
*** Darkness Hell is a twofer: He resembles [[Anime/YuGiOhZEXAL Don Thousand's]] armored form, while having the name of [[Anime/YuGiOhGX GX's]] BigBad of Season 4.
* PetTheDog: It's nice to see Yuri handing over his ownership of Starve Venom to Yuya. Granted, the real Yuri is actually a sweet person with BloodKnight issues.
* TookALevelInBadass:
** In Yuya's first turn, Yuya was able to bring out all four Dimension Dragons and successfully stop Reiji's assault with three Hell Armageddons.
** Reiji brings out Purplish Hell Armageddon, Whitest Hell Armageddon, and Darkness Hell Armageddon, which are Fusion/Pendulum, Synchro/Pendulum, and Xyz/Pendulum, respectively.
* TookALevelInKindness: Yuri has no problems lending Starve Venom to Yuya during the latter's Duels against Jack and Reiji (separately). Although his loss against Yuya in their Duel and Reira's sealing of Zarc might've caused this.
* TragicVillain: Zarc wanted everyone to be happy, monsters and humans alike. But humanity's blood lust drove him to become more and more violent till he lost sight of that and wanted to destroy the world as he thought that was what they wanted. This also drove the Four Dimension Dragons towards hatred over being used like slaves for human amusement.
* WhamShot:
** Clear Wing willingly helped Yuya grab an action card when he missed.
** Starve Venom carrying Yuya to grab an action card.
** Reira is seen crying.
