The Chosen One, still stuck as Alan's ad blocker, frees himself during a scuffle during which the Chosen One wants freedom. Destroying Alan's essay, he ends up meeting Clippy, who helps Alan fight against him, though as he overpowers Clippy, Alan creates a red stick figure called "The Dark Lord" to destroy the Chosen One. Despite the help from Alan's programs, the Dark Lord is defeated, but rather than kill him, the Chosen One convinces him to join in destroying Alan's computer. It ends with the duo creating a massive explosion that causes a fatal blue screen on Alan's computer, terminating it.

!!Tropes:
* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: The Animator's strategy to beat The Chosen One this time around is to create a new stick figure with similar powers and program it to only fight The Chosen One. It makes some headway at first, as The Chosen One is clearly caught off-guard having to fight an equal opponent, but it backfires when The Dark Lord decides to ScrewDestiny, leaving the Animator with two superpowered stick figures wreaking havoc on his computer.
* BulletSeed: The Chosen One eats a chunk of the Animator's essay and spits out letters (that coincidentally spelled out "waddup") at the Animator.
* BulletTime: The video slows down the animation speed at a number of points, usually when one of the fighters gets a good hit on another.
* CameraAbuse: The final explosion is so powerful that it cracks the computer screen.
* TheDarkLord: Averted with The Dark Lord. He's actually TheDragon, and from the moment of his creation, it's pretty much established as such.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: After The Chosen One defeats the Dark Lord, they team up to get revenge on the Animator.
* DemotedToExtra: AIM is still able to fight The Chosen One better than most, but it's no longer the main opponent or the one clearly spearheading the defense of the desktop -- those roles are mostly filled by The Dark Lord this time around.
* DoubleKnockout: Happens when the stick figures are fighting in the solitaire game and hit each other with cards at the same time, although they get back up after a few seconds.
* EarthShatteringKaboom: The Dark Lord and The Chosen One at the end form a black hole which consumes nearly everything in the computer. Once they are done, the hole explodes, causing the computer to crash.
* EvilCounterpart: The Dark Lord, who possesses similar abilities to the Chosen One and is a red stick figure.
* FreezeFrameBonus:
** The [=StickSlavery=].com page.
** Clippy's eyes widening upon seeing the blob of letters flying at him.
** Yahoo! Messenger's emoji's reaction to being pulled out of the Recycle Bin into the stick figures' black hole.
* GondorCallsForAid: The Dark Lord rallies the desktop icons to help fight the Chosen One.
* HeelFaceTurn:
** After being defeated, The Dark Lord teams up with The Chosen One to destroy the animator's computer when he sees that his creator doesn't seem to care about him.
** invoked On a more meta level, the Animator. It's pretty clear that as villainous as he may be, he's pretty much defenseless and is merely trying to survive The Chosen One's RoaringRampageOfRevenge.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: The Dark Lord turns against the animator when he realizes that the animator was playing solitaire during the whole battle, completely oblivious to the fact that his creation was about to get killed.
* PowerNullifier: Being "tamed" as a pop-up blocker means that The Chosen One's superpowers are suppressed, and he can only use his flame power when he's allowed to for the purpose of destroying pop-ups. After being forced to burn a pop-up that might have given him freedom, he starts throwing fire at the cursor in rage, only for the flame to fizzle out when the Animator clicks the option to disable the blocker. Once The Chosen One grapples the cursor into clicking the option to release him, he gets his strength and abilities back.
* ScrewDestiny: The Dark Lord's very purpose in life was to destroy The Chosen One. They eventually team up to get revenge on the animator.
* SequelEscalation: The third: An even bigger battle against the Animation where the Animator creates another Animation whose sole purpose is to end The Chosen One. The entire battle is what destroyed the Animator's old computer.
* ShoutOut: Pitting together the Chosen One and the Dark Lord is, of course, one to Literature/HarryPotter.
* SkewedPriorities: After creating The Dark Lord, the Animator figures the problem is handled and starts playing Solitaire, only offering token assistance after the battle disrupts his game and then immediately getting back to it. The fact that the Animator is more interested in playing around than helping his creation who's just been defeated convinces The Dark Lord to turn against him.
* StuffBlowingUp: When The Chosen One struggling to grapple Firefox, they get slammed into a a Minesweeper game which causes an explosion across the entire window.
* TookALevelInBadass: Mozilla Firefox. In 2, it was quickly subdued with an ice attack. Here, it does more damage and it's even the last desktop icon standing.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Both AIM and Firefox, who were killed in II make a return in III. Since then, it seems the animator either revived or re-installed them.
* UnwantedAssistance: Subverted. You'd think Clippy offering his help to the animator would be quite ineffectual like in real life, but he turns out to be a surprisingly competent fighter.
* VillainousBSOD: Literally. The animator gets a blue screen of death at the end. And he's the BigBad to boot. The flashback in the second AVA short has him HeadDesk at the bluescreen, showing that his feelings match the status of his device.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Clippy isn't seen again after he gets kicked out of Microsoft Word.
* YinYangBomb: After teaming up, The Chosen One and The Dark Lord combine their powers and both become capable of greater destructive feats, culminating in destroying the Animator's computer hardware.
* ZergRush: The desktop icons all gang up against the Chosen One and the latter has trouble fighting against them.
