He regarded this as a sign that he had to leave, but Davos points out it was also a sign that K'un-L'un was now vulnerable to the outside world, especially without the Iron Fist guarding the pass.

Davos obeys though he's clearly annoyed. When Claire wants to have a private word with Danny later, [[WomenAreWiser she just politely asks]] for a private moment with Danny, and Davos gives it without issue.
