After being fired from the Mech Wrestling League, El Fuego seeks to make a name for himself by challenging Big Hero 6.

!!Tropes in this episode:
* AntagonistTitle: "El Fuego" is the name of the VillainOfTheWeek.
* AssKicksYou: El Fuego's new finishing move for his fight with Baymax is the "Butt Slam", which is ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin.
* BatmanColdOpen: Big Hero 6 stopping Mega-Yama from breaking Yama out of prison. Unlike most examples, this has plot relevance later on, as a news broadcast on it inspires El Fuego to challenge the heroes.
* BilingualBonus: El Fuego is Spanish for "The Fire", and he has a fire theme.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: When the team realizes Hiro is posing as Baymax during the fight.
-->'''The entire team''': Oh no.
* ChekhovsGun: Hiro disables Skymax so his friends won't try to assist him in his fight with El Fuego. However, the copy of his exo-suit Fred stole for his space-fighting kaiju prototype is still available, which Fred uses to disassemble El Fuego's mech suit.
* CoincidentalBroadcast: El Fuego says that he needs to find the "biggest, baddest good guy" to fight. He accidentally turns on the news, where Bluff Dunder describes Big Hero 6 in exactly those terms.
* ForTheEvulz: Richardson Mole bought the mech-wrestling league just to spite Fred. He doesn't even like wrestling.
* {{Heel}}: El Fuego. He's explicitly identified as such, and certainly [[LargeHam plays the part]]. However, he tires of throwing matches, and when he's fired from the league, he takes his act to the real world.
* IdiotBall: Yama grabs the ball as he doesn't realize why Mega-Yama stopped attacking the prison was due solely to the fact that Big Hero 6 thwarted his escape attempt.
* IDoNotLikeGreenEggsAndHam: Honey Lemon is at first unsure she'll enjoy mecha-wrestling, especially when she complains about the noise of the crowd. Once the match gets started, though, she becomes a rabid fan, shouting louder than anybody there. [=GoGo=] later states this is now Honey Lemon's Happy Place.
* ItsPersonal: Hiro takes El Fuego's taunts that Baymax is junk personally, since he sees it as an insult to Tadashi's life work.
* JustIgnoreIt: Both Fred and Hiro have problems with bullies taunting them - Fred with Richardson, Hiro with El Fuego. Aunt Cass convinces Fred that letting Richardson get to him means he's winning, so he should just ingnore him. Hiro overhears this, but is too busy working on getting El Fuego back and doesn't make the connection until later.
* NoSell: Out of his armor, Baymax is unharmed by El Fuego's attacks because his inflatable body absorbs the blows. He is at risk of being popped by a BearHug, though.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: Professional Wrestling might be fake, but they are still athletes in their prime. So despite Hiro making a suit to match El Fuego, El Fuego still has a ton more fighting experience.
* PoweredArmor:
** The pro-wrestlers wear robo-suits while wrestling.
** Hiro ends up building himself a suit which resembles Baymax's armor.
* ProWrestlingEpisode: The episode begins with the team at a mech-wrestling match. Wasabi and [=GoGo=] talk about how it's fake, while Fred and Hiro (and Honey Lemon, eventually) are into it. One of the wrestlers then becomes the VillainOfTheWeek.
* SmartBall: Fred actually comes up with a smart way to defeat El Fuego.
* StrawFeminist: Downplayed. [=GoGo=] offhandedly states one of the reasons shes not a fan of the Mech Wrestling League is because there are no women in the sport.
* {{Thememobile}}: Parodied when Fred calls "To the Big Hero 6-Mobile!" Cut to everyone uncomfortably crammed inside Wasabi's compact car.
* ThrowingTheFight: El Fuego is paid to lose his fights, because the bad guy isn't supposed to win. He gets tired of losing and wins anyway, causing Mole to fire him and kicking off the main plot.
* TopHeavyGuy: El Fuego's upper body is massive, but he has normal legs.
