3	* AesopAmnesia: Felicity has forgotten the consequences of hacktivism from her college years as she joins up with Helix full time.
4	* ArtisticLicenseLaw: To impeach a public official does not mean to remove them from office; it means ''to put them on trial to be removed from office.'' So Oliver was in fact impeached; he just wasn't convicted in the end.
5	* TheBadGuyWins: Oliver's press conference means the city no longer sees the Green Arrow as a hero, just like Prometheus wanted.
6	* BaitAndSwitch: Dinah recovers a small piece of Vigilante's mask and then Adrian Chase convinces her to give it him to log into evidence, making us think that he's Vigilante, trying to recover evidence that could point to his identity. Then we learn that Chase is ''Prometheus'', not Vigilante.

32	* ShoutOut: Vigilante has [[AlternateCompanyEquivalent already been compared to]] ComicBook/ThePunisher. And his first line in this episode? "[[Recap/Daredevil2015S2E1Bang Bang]]."
33	* TakingTheHeat: Adrian offers to take all the blame at the start of the episode. In the end, Oliver decides to frame his own second identity.
34	* ThatCameOutWrong: When Curtis presents his T-Spheres, Rene summarizes it as Curtis getting ''balls'' to improve on his combat skill, before he recognizes that was taking it too far.

42	* WhatTheHellHero: On top of still being mad at her for ruining Susan's life last week, Oliver is angry to find out that Thea now intends blackmail a council member to swing the vote in Oliver's favor.
43	** John calls out Felicity on everything she's been doing with Helix's illegally-collected data.
44	* XanatosGambit: No matter what Oliver does to combat the impeachment proceedings, Prometheus wins. Sensible, given his only goal is to destroy Oliver emotionally before killing him.
45	** If he gets impeached, he's removed from office and Star City is destabilized once again, undermining Oliver's confidence.
46	** If he doesn't get impeached, but condones blackmail to combat it, then he's compromised his morals.
47	** If he doesn't get impeached, but uses someone as a scapegoat (the candidates offered being Adrian or the deceased officer Malone) to save himself, then it further pushes the point that Oliver's choices wind up hurting his friends and family.
48	** If doesn't get impeached, but tosses his alter ego under the bus (which is what he does), then Green Arrow is Public Enemy Number One (again) and that restricts his ability to operate as a vigilante.
