* During one of Peacock and Jinx's sessions of wreaking mayhem around the Pantheon, Jinx slowly got closer and more deadly, veering towards target Peacock didn't intend or want to hurt, including Marie and some other Skullgirls deities she wanted to protect (she originally wanted to do a run with her through the House of Pantheon/{{Villainy}} but got sidetracked). [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Upon]] ([[LateToTheRealization "Finally," as Marie puts it,]]) [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone realizing what a deadly force Jinx is,]] she instantly tried to reign her in and fight her. Unfortunately, because Caitlyn and Vi were too far behind, it was more or less a endless draw. Just when it looked like Jinx was about to gain the upper hand, Jinx got hit by a giant brass sphere, before being assaulted by a series of rapid fire brass arm punches, before the figure pressed his foot against her back, telling her the Miranda rights while placing handcuffs on her. Big Band has ascended just in time, and has since been one of the few deities whom can put up with her antics and catch her.
* He was one of the most requested Skullgirls DLC characters, second only to Squigly. Peacock was [[http://orig02.deviantart.net/68c9/f/2013/054/9/1/big_band__baby_by_enterpraiz-d5vxw2k.jpg a big support]] [[http://orig01.deviantart.net/1ead/f/2013/070/8/0/go__big_band__go___by_blazingmetalstranger-d5xpxch.jpg in getting him in.]] Once he managed to get chosen for the game, he celebrated...[[http://cdn4.dualshockers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/big-band.jpg by as he says,]] [[AntiClimax "celebrating quietly".]] Regardless, Peacock was still estatic to see him in. He also celebrated the same way when he learned that he was ascended into the Pantheon. Though for some reason (besides the obvious of saxes that is), the Epic Sax Guy is a big fan of him, seeing how [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/skullgirls/images/c/c7/Big_Band_Win.png/revision/latest?cb=20140715130920 he not only has a victory pose as him]], but rumors said [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/sporum-dimensional-clash-75/images/9/90/BigHump.gif/revision/latest?cb=20160108050553 he did this in celebration of his ascension and funding.]] While Big Band refuses to comment, he does indeed play the sax with him from time to time.
* Despite being essentially [[{{Foil}} the foil to Peacock]], the two of them actually have a close bond. He is constantly teaching her to be more mature and responsible but still lets her do her own thing, even watching "Annie: Girl Of The Stars" with her and Marie [[spoiler:a show they both loved back when they were orphans.]] Meanwhile, Peacock is genuinely impressed and amazed with his fighting prowess, [[http://skullgirls.wikia.com/wiki/Anime_Peacock_Quotes even calling him "Senpai" when in her Japanese mode.]] Obviously, [[BadassFamily inciting either of the two will ensure the other is about to come face you shortly.]]
** Parasoul was relieved to find out he ascended and inquired him to help around her temple dealing with criminals, which he calmly agreed. However, on one of his shifts, he accidentally saw through a temple window [[ClosetGeek Parasoul watching "Annie: Girl Of The Stars".]] He instantly realized what the show was and invited her over to Peacock's temple to watch it with her and Marie. While she declined, he noticed that for some reason afterwards, she has been able to capture Peacock and even Marie with greater ease and take them back to her temple to prison them. [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial It is not a ruse to let the two into her temple so they can marathon Annie episodes.]] When pressed about it, Big Band just chortles and goes on his way, saying "Too much TV is bad for you!"
** While Peacock and Big Band are very happy to be reunited, Big Band also scolded Peacock (though in his usual PrivateEyeMonologue DeadpanSnarker way) for trying to work with someone like Jinx, forcing her into shame and apologizing sincerely. Big Band, being the understanding guy that he is, accepted the apology. He also insisted that she still has work to do after almost dying to the Skullgirl. This time, Peacock pulled up a NotMeThisTime and insisted that she actually ''DID'' beat the Skullgirl all by herself, [[HeroOfAnotherStory and that Big Band wasn't even IN Peacock's Story.]] They have since taken this issue to the Court Of Gods whom decreed that while both stories are technically true, [[NoEnding as of yet; no true ending is available for them to draw forth information from.]]
*** Wanting to put Peacock to a better use besides vigilante justice, he talked with Caitlyn and Vi with plans of setting up a meeting with Vi to talk with Peacock about the fact that they both are BloodKnight and [[CowboyCop ruthless cops]] who still want to do justice. Upon seeing how they are not so different, Peacock and Vi instantly got on board the idea of working together, and celebrated by launching a attack on some suspected crimes that were going on within the house of Pantheon/{{Villainy}}...[[ShootTheShaggyDog possibly causing]] ''[[ShootTheShaggyDog MORE]]'' [[ShootTheShaggyDog damage than she could've done with Jinx]] [[FridgeBrilliance (probably because while Peacock thinks Jinx takes things too far, Vi and Peacock have more common grounds and thus, less reasons to think the other takes things too far).]] Caitlyn offered him her sympathies and lets him drink with her.
--> Big Band: [[BittersweetEnding At least it's not towards innocents...]]
* While he is curious to see if he can get Peacock to extend her range of moves (and maybe be on the same level of godhood as him, a fact that annoys her to no end), he definitely wants it to be a slow yet smooth transition. As such, he dreads getting her and Discord to even know about each other, let alone even meet up, despite the fact his is pretty much okay with him as he is right now, and thinking she can learn anything from darker comedians like The Joker is straight out of the question.
** For now, Peacock eventually did get to Intermediate Goddesshood. [[IKnewIt And there was as much bragging as he thought there was gonna be.]]
* He's thankful for Peacock [[WebAnimation/OneMinuteMelee beating down B.B. Hood within a minute flat after he fell to her.]] She is on his watch-list, looking out for when she wants to strike again.
* Has officially adopted Painwheel into the Lab 8 family. While she doesn't show much appreciation for it (especially when Peacock calls her "Needles"), she is actually very thankful towards Big Band in private.
* He often makes trips to the house of Justice, reporting in as a cop. While there are some evil people there, like the Dark Judges, he just doesn't mind them (unless they are in the process of a scheme that is threatening the house, mind you,) and works with the other good deities there. He often teams up with Soichiro Yagami, pitying him because they both were [[spoiler:backstabbed by people that they thought they could trust which led to them being severely hurt.]] Out of respect, he helps him with his son whom is Kira, as Big Band's face is covered up most of the time, the Shinigami Eyes can't do much for Ryuk.
* Sometimes performs soft jazz music with Brook, either within the House of Music or as eating music in the House of Pantheon/{{Food}}. He and Brook are also some of the first few responders in case something starts up with I-No's band that can be threatening.
** Sometimes, he gets fancy and decides to get some deities to clone him in order to make songs that mimic other tunes, ranging from [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOgGbZ5i7Lg Nyan Cat]] to the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSZitT2NMQE slide theme from Super Mario 64]] and even [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXLUgCBVbwc the whole Undertale soundtrack]]. He even played for Peacock's song of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSZitT2NMQE All The Countries Of The World.]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLqd91SEJ0Lpq9Q7rbfB35YorwKRq1dRlt&v=GSAaz47YmGs He has even composed a list for it.]]
* Peacock ''begged'' him to not go after and try to kill Marie the Skullgirl. While he can't promise much, he does understand and pity Peacock for not wanting him to hurt [[spoiler:her best friend since childhood.]] He has settled for letting Peacock handle her tll a time comes that he needs to step in. That said, they all get together to take down Eliza should she be providing too much trouble to the Pantheon.
** He and Marie also don't have that much fondness towards Bloody Mary, and as such, he helps out Bigby Wolf a couple times. Given their FilmNoir style of life, they can be seen hitting the pub for a drink a couple of times on their times off from work.
* Apparently, [[NotSoAboveItAll he has taken a page from Peacock's book]] [[https://youtu.be/tvzaUrQzJg0?t=35s and can freeze time and do a rapid attack,]] [[ShoutOut A La Dio Brando.]] He is speechless on how he can do such a thing (hell, he can see why [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6myfq-KRRDY Peacock can replicate his steamroll move]] running on ToonPhysics), but this has since put him on Dio's hit list.
** He also lets his first impressions of other people deceive him, like thinking that Beowulf was just one of the mafia goons. His thoughts about him soon changed after he was on the end of a CurbStompBattle provided by [[WhenAllYouHaveIsAHammer him and his chair.]] Since than the two tend to awkwardly avoid each other, but would team up to stop larger threats to the Pantheon should they be needed.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/{{Gameplay}}.

* Killer B is the jinchūriki of [[Pantheon/BeastOther Gyūki, the Eight-Tails]]. Unlike his predecessors as a jinchūriki, Killer B was able to bond with the Tailed Beast and hone his powers for Kumogakure's sake. After escaping from Sasuke and Taka, Killer B would go on to train Naruto to fully utilize his power as a jinchūriki of Kurama, participating in the war against Akatsuki.
* B would make his debut in the Pantheon's House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}}, writing lyrics and rapping. When asked how he got here, he would tell everyone how the Court of the Gods took interest in his rapping and decided to ascend him as the God of ''Rapping'', somehow missing the gratuitous part.
* Naruto would immediately run to the House of Music to greet his old mentor, giving him a fist bump and congratulations for making it into the Pantheon. Other deities from their home universe also came greet Killer B as well, including those who fought alongside him such as Kakashi and Might Guy, as well as Minato Namikaze (who showed great respect for B's abilites as a jinchūriki and gave him the title "Killer") and Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto's parents showed gratitude towards B for helping their son with Kurama, and for watching over during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
* Killer B's relationship with some of his former adversaries is complicated, since while he's not the type to hold grudges, interactions with him tend to be awkward for Sasuke, Obito, and Nagato. They did try to capture him to acquire Gyūki after all, so it's not surprising. B on the other hand is one of the few to put aside their past differences just like Naruto.
** Madara Uchiha on the other hand, B is still wary of because unlike the above 3, Madara really hasn't changed his attitude towards others. B really doesn't like how Madara looks down on the Tailed Beasts and sees them as mindless creatures.
** Kisame had once fought against B with Samehada, with the sword actually betraying him for B. Because B had returned the sword to Kumogakure in the World of the Living, he was not expecting Kisame to have regained his weapon. While the jinchūriki is suspicious of Kisame, the latter isn't looking for trouble, but is eager to battle him and see how strong he's become after his own death. Of course, Samehada is more eager to fight alongside B than Kisame due to enjoying the taste of his chakra, so the sword ends up hindering Kisame's progress.
* Being a friend to all living things, B is shown to get along with many creatures in the House of Beast, especially the giant ones. He has fist bumped them as a greeting and to show that he's a friend.
** Among some of the big animals include the Catbus and Clifford the Big Red Dog, both of whom can reach an understanding with B through a fist bump. Killer B is rather quick make rhymes for the two, the Catbus for being a cross between an animal and a vehicle, and Clifford for growing up from a small puppy to a giant dog.
** B also gets along with several Pokémon, including many of the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, mostly likely due to his experience with Gyūki. B is willing to fight alongside several Pokémon, though some of them are a bit perplexed by his habit of rhyming in battle.
* Ghauri and B have so much in common that they become {{Worthy Opponent}}s and friendly enemies. Ghauri often likes to rhyme, even if it's in poor taste, and is also quite dangerous despite his eccentrics. The two like to spar with each other and have rap battles in their spare time.
* After hearing about [=EpicLloyd=] & [=NicePeter=]'s tendency to have rap battles, B decided to become their next opponent. Their rap battles soon became the top news of the Pantheon, with both of them showing themselves to be good rappers and respecting the other as a worthy opponent.
* The Straw Hat Pirates became fast friends with B. On his side, B is interested in their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLTlH7KB0Xk rather infamous intro]] in the ''Creator/FourKidsEntertainment'' English dub of their story, actually singing it himself. The Straw Hats' reactions to his rhymes vary, but Luffy admits he would have great addition to his crew if they each other in his world.
* Killer B greatly respects his older brother A, so naturally, he respects a lot of older brothers in the Pantheon, especially those who are loving. This allowed to get along with the likes of Ichigo, Gohan, Yu, and even the Elric brothers. B does show sympathy for Seita and Setsuko after learning of their tale and how war ruined their lives.

* Fears: [[Pantheon/ActsOfHatred Miraak]] (For the Golden Lute)
* Opposed By: the House of Pantheon/FamilyAndRelatives, [[Pantheon/DCComics The Lantern Corps]]
* At one point, the Necrodancer was but a simple bard named Octavio, traveling as he played upon his lute. Upon finding the Golden Lute, however, he begun to lose himself as he played it, turning into the Necrodancer, a necromancer who rules over the Crypt he resides in with a disco iron fist. He eventually met his end when he faced off against Cadence and her family of gravediggers, who was looking for her lost father against the wishes of her uncle.
** [[spoiler: After his second defeat at the hands of Cadence's mother Melody, it was Aria (Melody's mother) who found out the horrible truth about the Golden Lute's form: it's sentient and eats away at the soul and humanity of those who pluck its strings. After an intense fight, the Lute is destroyed by Aria's hand, passing away only moments later from her heart wound inflicted by the Necrodancer.]]
** Needless to say, due to his actions against the family in order to maintain the power of the Golden Lute, the House of Family promises they will not go easy on him if he tries anything funny with them.
* At the request of the Court of Gods, Cadence ascended as a Herald, primarily to prevent the Necrodancer from using his necromancy abilities to take over the House of Music.
* He often plays in the House of Music. Despite his affinity with his magic through music, his tunes often brings the entire house (with some outsiders) into a large dance floor. Just beware him trying to steal your heart, so that you'll be forced to dance by the beat of your heart by his magic.
* Recognizing some of the Dragonronpa deities, he quickly reaffirmed them as his enemies, as they are capable of going toe-to-toe with his mortal lieutenants. He's preparing (while also dreading) for the time where Monokuma and Monomi will become a part of the collective group.
* Upon learning that another being capable of eating away a soul ascended, the Soul Series characters who fought against Soul Edge and Soul Calibur made enemies with the Necrodancer. While intimidated by their proficiency with their weaponry, he stands firm and awaits their attack.
** Elysium was disappointed with the ascension of yet another chaos-driven instrument and its puppet. Soul Edge and Nightmare were intrigued, though uninterested in the Lute, as they can just eat the souls of warriors it slays on the battlefield.
* Adding onto the pile of enemies he already has, among them is Death the Horseman and Nekron. For the former, the Necrodancer and his Golden Lute are perverting the balance of life and death by bringing things into Undeath. The latter's reasoning is that he's disrupting the peace and order that death, and by his range darkness, brings.
** Despite Nekron's animosity towards the Necrodancer's blatant necromancy, he doesn't get much sympathy from the Lantern Corps around the Pantheon, learning of the Lute's ability to resurrect the dead and how far its power extends.
* One of the very few allies he has was with Ganondorf. With [[VideoGame/CadenceOfHyrule an adventure chronicling the adventures of Cadence going in and allying herself with Link and Zelda to stop a Golden Lute-like object]], they feel like kindred spirits who knew each other.
** This brought the ire of Link and Zelda to his scope. For his end, he hates them on principle for allying with Cadence and ending Octivo's/Ganon's madness in Hyrule. If he can, he will take care of them first, to make it harder for his herald to oppose him.
* Upon hearing about Quan Chi and his powerful magic, the Necrodancer went up to him and pledged under his alligence. While there was some coldness from the Netherrealm necromancer, he accepted the Necrodancer's plead for help. Regardless of how powerful he thinks he is, Quan Chi sees him fit as a puppet to do his bidding.
** Gul'dan approached the necromancer upon hearing about Quan Chi deciding to ally himself with the musical mage. They bound over their abilities to summon minions, with help of their magical items. He was impressed with the Golden Lute itself, as he could feel its evilness extruding from its golden body, if not for the rumors of its transformation alone. It may decide to go to the monsterous warlock first in the event its host dies, which he doesn't mind as he can suck the life out of other people to sate its hunger.
* Has also went over to Sauron in the House of Villains, recognizing his power and dominion over an extensive army of Uruk-Hai, as well as those who hold the One Ring, which rings similar to the Golden Lute and his own army. While the Uruks' in Sauron's army could destroy the Necrodancer's army, he is impressed with the amount of power that the Necrodancer and the Lute holds over the dead.
** This alliance earned him ire and hostility from the Fellowship of the Ring. It only got worse when they heard about what the Golden Lute's capable of in the hands of a master like him.
* One day, Eddie Riggs went down into the Crypt, wondering why it appeared in the House of Musical Genres. He fought through most of the Necrodancer's army, blasting them or axing them off with his trusted Clementine and Separator. Upon meeting the Necrodancer himself, they engaged in a battle of music, as the Necrodancer summoned more of his army, while Eddie's Mooks throw themselves at his stage. While some spectators from the House of War came in to enjoy the carnage on the battlefield, it ended with a victory for the roadie, though their fights must now be done in the House of War now since the House of Musical Genre and parts of the House of Music are damaged from their battle.
* The Golden Lute, in spite of its unassuming appearance, has sentience. While it stays near the Necrodancer, should he fall, it won't hesitate to find a victim to turn into the next Necrodancer.
** [[spoiler: Should its true nature be revealed, it's able to turn into its dragon form to retaliate against its enemies. Utilizing everything offered to it, it can summon anything from skeletons to dragons, though it's here that it's at its most vulnerable, as a capable fighter can destroy it by lobbing its head off]].
* [[spoiler: In its dragon form, it has three main enemies that it will fight against. The first are the Monster Hunters, who are adept to fighting draconic creatures. After that, is the Dragonborn and Paarthurnax, whose dragon form brought attention of it to the two, and realizing the truth of the Lute's power, will resolve to end its miserable legacy.]]
** [[spoiler: Hearing about the power Miraak holds, if it's not in the hands of a Necrodancer, it will flee to avoid his MindControl powers. Though even with this revelation, it won't intentionally seek out Alduin, as the World Eater regards it as a "pitiful excuse of a dovah" that he'll roast if it comes near him.]]

* On August 15th, 1997, 2D, who was back then known as Stu Pot, was a keyboard enthusiast who worked for an instrument shop known as "Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium." On that day, Murdoc Niccals, a local delinquent/satanist, crashed his car into the store so he could steal equipment for his band, crashing into Stu's face and damaging his left eye in the process. Forced to take care of the catatonic Stu as part of his community service, Murdoc attempted to impress some random girls one day by doing 360 degree turns in a Tesco parking lot. He would end up crashing his car, ejecting Stu from the car and damaging his other eye but waking him from his catatonia. Impressed with Stu's, Murdoc dubbed 2D for the two dots in his head and recruited him into his band. From there, the band Gorillaz would formed after Murdoc acquired the haunted building of Kong Studios as a base for his band, recruited Russel, a drummer from New York who ended up being possessed by the souls of his friends after they were gunned down in a drive-by shooting, and recruited Noodle, an amnesiac, Japanese girl who emerged from a [=FedEx=] box on the same day Murdoc posted an advertisement looking for a guitarist.
* Originally, the [[{{Pantheon/CourtOfTheGods}} Court of the Gods]] decided that the band would ascend as the deities of [[VirtualCelebrity Virtual Celebrities]] since out of all of the other candidates, they were the most successful. However, they were instead designated for the GenreRoulette trope after they were vouched for by [[Pantheon/DrugsAndPharmaceuticals Snoop Dogg]], who was the only one of their collaborators to make it into the Pantheon. In reality though, Snoop Dogg had not vouched for them at all. Rather, Murdoc, having snuck into the Pantheon before their official ascension, stole a voucher from Snoop Dogg while the latter was too stoned out of his mind to notice.
* Angry that all but one of their collaborators have not made it into the Pantheon, Murdoc has decided that the band would "collaborate with" (I.e. kidnap) some of the residents of the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} to help the band with their next album, such as Richard Wagner. Nobody knows how exactly Richards "collaboration" went. All they know is that it ended with him walking away from the band's temple whilst cursing under his breath, with the words "MURDOC IS A NOB" spray-painted above the temple's entrance.
** Another band that wound up "collaborating" with Gorillaz was a popular GirlGroup known as [[{{Pantheon/TheatricProduction}} Plasmagica]]. Like Richard Wagner, nobody knows how exactly the "collaboration" between the two bands went. Unlike Richard, the band was never actually seen leaving the temple. Instead, they were found a week after their "collaboration" in a desert within the [[{{Pantheon/Nature}} House of Nature]], with all members delirious from dehydration and muttering about staying away from someone called "the Disgusting Pickle Man."
** Then there was that time that the band "collaborated" with [[Pantheon/MusicalGenres Eddie Riggs]]. Eddie, having flashbacks to his time working for [[NuMetal Kabbage Boy]], hated every minute of his temporarily forced partnership with Gorillaz, especially since Murdoc kept trying to steal [[ICallItVera Clementine]] away from Eddie every time the two were together. The feeling appears to be mutual on the band's part, particularly with Murdoc, whose face Eddie melted off on more than one occasion.
* Hoping to increase the band's influence within the Pantheon, Murdoc has decided to wage war against the [[Pantheon/NarrativeGenresNToZ SOS Brigade]] in order to steal their trope, GenreMashup. To Murdoc's dismay, no one seems to take his war with the Brigade seriously, as his band mates have bigger things to worry about while the most of the Brigade are more preoccupied with whatever the time travelers, aliens, and espers of the pantheon are up to. To make matters worse for Murdoc, Noodle ended up befriending Haruhi after the latter found out about Noodle's backstory as a TykeBomb.
* Not exactly a fan of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse since Murdoc had made enemies with their fifth member, [[BigBad the Boogieman]], who was known as the Horsemen of Flatulence. When they had heard about the Boogieman's misadventures with the band, however, the Horsemen had a collective [[{{Corpsing}} laughing fit]] over how the Boogieman continued being a loser [[ThePeteBest after he was rejected from the group]], with Pestilence even suggesting that they send the Boogieman over to [[Pantheon/TypesOfSadness the Winchesters]] as a joke.
* Hated by [[Pantheon/AquaticLife Elektross]] after it was captured by the band so that Russel could cook it for dinner. Thankfully, 2D's inaccurate hammer aiming allowed the eel to escape with its life, but not before hitting 2D with Flamethrower on its way out.
** 2D himself ended up as dinner for a whale known as [[{{Pantheon/Consumption}} Monstro]], who [[SwallowedWhole swallowed the vocalist whole]] after he had won a WetTShirtContest that the [[{{Pantheon/Celebration}} House of Celebration]] just had. Although 2D had already gotten over his fear of whales [[ItMakesSenseInContext after developing an emotional attachment to a gigantic whale that Murdoc had hired to prevent 2D from escaping Plastic Beach]], the sight of a monstrous-looking blue whale devouring him whole had inadvertently reaffirmed 2D's irrational fear of anything relating to whales. By the time he was rescued from a resting Monstro, 2D would not stop muttering about how Monstro "wants to eat [2D's] blud" before huddling up into a fetal position.
* Not exactly the biggest fans of the Powerpuff Girls after learning that they used to beat up their temporary bassist, Ace. At first, Murdoc thought what the Powerpuff Girls did was hilarious... until the Girls ended up beating Murdoc up one day after catching him selling faulty weapons to various criminals in the Pantheon. Consequently, future concerts from Gorillaz usually have a picture near the entrance that shows the Powerpuff Girls with the words "KEEP OUT" written below them.
* Somehow, Noodle managed to endear herself to [[Pantheon/CharacterReveals the Bride]], who not only took a liking to her after hearing about how Noodle infiltrated the Japanese underworld to assassinate a shape-shifting demon known as Mazuu, but also wouldn't stop laughing when she heard that Noodle used to dress up in the Bride's yellow jumpsuit and beat up Russel when she was younger. Rumors have even emerged stating that the Bride is even considering teaching Noodle the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart technique, but so far the Bride has denied actually teaching Noodle the technique.
* When Russel was young, he wound up being [[DemonicPossession possessed by a demon]] that would force him to attack several of his fellow students at Xavier School for Young Achievers before putting him into a coma for four years. At the end of the fourth year, a priest known only as Father Merrin managed to exorcise the demon from Russel's body. As a result, Russel instantly allied himself with the [[{{Pantheon/ReligiousFigures}} Father Merrin]] in the Pantheon, whom Russel thought was the same Father Merrin that saved him all those years ago.
** Accordingly, Russel's alliance with Father Merrin has earned him the ire of [[{{Pantheon/Demons}} Pazuzu]], who occasionally possesses Russel every now and then in an attempt to ruin his life. While 2D and Noodle are understandably unnerved by the possessed Russel due to his penchant for [[AbnormalLimbRotationRange twisting his limbs beyond their normal limits]] while [[YourMom insulting their mothers]], Murdoc has stated that he thought the possessed Russel was an improvement over the regular Russel.
* Having been hired by Saito to steal secrets belonging to Gorillaz, the [[Pantheon/DreamsAndNightmares Inception Crew]] once managed to invade the dreams of Noodle in order to extract secrets from her. Within said dreams, the Crew came across Noodle casually dancing to the beat of the Gorillaz song "DARE" while the sloshed head of Shaun Ryder from Music/HappyMondays sang along. Before they were able to make sense of the situation, [[spoiler:[[CatapultNightmare Dom awoke from his dream about invading the mind of Noodle from Gorillaz, completely covered in sweat]]. Before he was able to make sense of his surroundings, a naked Murdoc sat upright and beckoned Dom back to bed, [[DreamWithinADream causing Murdoc to awaken from his gay dream about Dom Cobb and bolt upright in panic]]]].

* A nightmare creature from the [[DreamLand dream world]] of Phantomile, Joka was the loyal lackey of Ghadius, the King of Darkness who wanted to destroy Phantomile for rejecting nightmares in favor of good dreams. When Klonoa and Huepow began meddling in Ghadius' scheme, Joka was tasked with eliminating the two children but found himself constantly getting thwarted by the boys. When Joka's failures earned him Ghadius' [[YouHaveFailedMe disappointment]], the nightmare clown stopped fooling around and became a serious threat to Klonoa and Huepow, starting with [[spoiler:killing Klonoa's grandfather]] to steal the [[MacGuffin Moon Pendant]] for Ghadius and then fighting the two himself in a climactic battle that would end in Joka's demise. At least in Phantomile, as the clown would appear alive and well in other dream worlds and continue to menace Klonoa one way or another. And now Joka has made it into the Pantheon, eager to cause more trouble for the Dream Traveler and his allies.
* Joka was ascended into the Pantheon by Nightmare, who wanted to spite Klonoa after the Dream Traveler fought him one too many times. While summoning Joka to the Pantheon was a trivial matter for Nightmare, he had to figure out a trope for the clown to become a deity and be kept within the Pantheon. With all the big tropes for Joka taken, Nightmare was about to give up on this endeavor until Ghadius, serving Nightmare as his High Priest, recalled a peculiar kind of music that would always accompany Joka. Nightmare took a listen to all of Joka's themes and identified the music as electronic, which sparked a eureka for Nightmare as he realized that, as a clown heavily associated with electronic music, Joka was the perfect fit for the then-unoccupied trope of CircusSynths and immediately claimed the trope for the clown fiend. Joka laughed with glee as he was deified and bowed to Nightmare with utmost gratitude, swearing absolute loyalty to the Emporer of Darkness.
** Indeed, the very first thing Nightmare noticed about Joka (besides the techno music that indeed accompanied him) is how obsequious the clown is, thinking he ought to be the God of Brown-Nosers instead. Ghadius always figured that Joka just recognizes greater power when he sees it and knows to be obedient to it. Joka doesn't confirm or deny Ghadius' theory, nor the theories of others, and simply states that his loyalty is completely sincere and he'll happily serve any evildoer in need of a lackey. Of course, as loyal as he is to Nightmare and other villains within the Pantheon, Joka is only truly devoted to Ghadius and is secretly working to get his beloved master ascended. The King of Darkness is thoroughly pleased with his lackey's efforts and patiently waits to be granted godhood.
* Joka confounds many a deity when it comes to his competence as for the most part Joka is an utter buffoon who's more an annoyance than a threat, not unlike [[Pantheon/VillainousSuccessAndFailure Jesse, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket]]; doing utterly baffling things like shouting out the weakness of the monsters he sends at Klonoa. But after suffering enough defeats, especially if they land him in hot water with his superior, Joka will stop fooling around and become a genuine threat: personally spreading plagues, attacking with lethal force, and becoming shockingly cunning. Some deities had come to believe that Joka's foolish incompetence is just a facade to lower the guard of his enemies, though Joka's [[SureLetsGoWithThat response]] to that speculation suggests otherwise.
** Deities are especially warned to avoid Joka at night or during an eclipse, as the clown fiend is able to draw power from the darkness to [[OneWingedAngel transform into a monstrous form]] aptly named "Beast Joka", which makes him a great deal stronger and faster as well as highly durable. Those who encounter Joka in his beast form are advised to avoid his attacks and wait out the night or force the daylight if it can be helped, forcing Joka back into his much weaker default form. Because of this, Joka maintains a tight alliance with evil deities associated with the night and vows to destroy all deities of the day.
*** From the "[[AlternateUniverse Klonoa Heroes universe]]", Joka had another powerful transformation in the form "[[FoulFlower Flower Joka]]", a floating serpentine beast which ironically attacks by [[PlayingWithFire shooting fireballs]]. That naturally attracted the attention of the foremost flower deities, Piranha Plants, Flowey, Cagney Carnation, and Poison Ivy. Though of the four, only the Piranha Plants and Flowey are allied to Joka as both Cagney Carnation and Ivy are repulsed by Flower Joka's use of flame, and additionally for the latter Joka reminds her too much of the Joker. The Piranha Plants, being fire-spitting plants themselves who readily work with villains in their native world, have no problem siding with Joka while Flowey is every bit of an evil {{Jerkass}} like Joka. [[spoiler:Though in truth, Joka is just one of many evil deities Flowey is spying on for the side of Good, and otherwise despises the obsequious clown fiend.]]
* Once offered the choice, Joka was initially going to choose the monsters he summoned to fight Klonoa and Huepow: Rongo Longo, Gelg Bolm, and Baladium, as his Heralds. But then Joka recalled the allies of his "Heroes incarnation", Janga and Garlen, and decided to have them as his Heralds instead, as they're a great deal more competent than those pathetic monsters while also having actual personalities. Neither of the two are happy to be the "second-in-command" to Joka, who prides himself on being the most loyal lackey (and indeed served as their lackey in their home universe), but Janga and Garlen are thankful to be given a second chance at life in the Pantheon and are eager to cause trouble alongside Joka.
** Because of the many similarities between him and Garlen, Joka struck up an alliance with Dr. Eggman: offering to assist Eggman in his plans and attempt to eliminate the doctor's many enemies. Eggman is a tad wary of Joka, thinking that nobody could be ''that'' obsequious, but did accept Joka's offer and lent the harlequin his own custom Egg Mobile, which Eggman was surprised to learn Joka is experienced with piloting as it resembles a flying machine he used back in Phantomile. Garlen and Eggman also tend to work together, sharing technology and insight, though their egos frequently clash, with Eggman most often proving himself the better to Garlen.
** Similarly, Joka allied with Katz under the presumption that he and Janga would get along. Which proved correct as Katz and Janga admire each other's cruelty and methods of killing, with Katz becoming inspired to create his own [[PoisonousPerson poison-laced]] WolverineClaws. Janga also relates with Katz's hatred for dogs, being the ArchEnemy to the canid Guntz who is currently one of Klonoa's Heralds. The two evil cats frequently get together to devise schemes to eliminate their foes, which Joka will be more than happy to get involved in.
* Joka and Janga were just scouting around the Pantheon for some havoc when they spotted Saya, whom they recognized from [[VideoGame/NamcoXCapcom the time they worked with her]] and greeted the villainous werefox like an old friend. Saya was surprised to see Joka and Janga again, having not even heard from them since that first world-merging attempt, but was nonetheless happy to see old allies whom she can count on to help her out; recalling what great help the clown and cat were. Since then, whenever Saya needs something accomplished for a plan, Joka and Janga are sure to get involved.
** Reiji and Xiaomu were not pleased in the least of Joka and Janga's renewed alliance with Saya, remembering what a pain the clown fiend in particular was, and both as well as every other heroic deity involved in that first world-merge event were quick to relearn their strategies to combat Joka and Janga so as to not get caught off guard by those two again. Seeing this coming, Joka was quick to get reacquainted with his villainous cohorts from that whole shindig and learn from them whatever new moves and strategies those heroes came up with while he was absent.
* Joka was ecstatic with how many other [[MonsterClown evil clowns]] and [[VillainousHarlequin harlequins]] there were in the Pantheon and was quick to ally with as many as he could find. Of them all, Joka gets along the best with Dimentio (whom he was a Follower to) and is one of the few sincere allies for the Master of Dimensions; having absolutely no issue with Dimentio's psychopathy and [[MultiversalConqueror grand plan]]. Dimentio is nothing short of delighted by Joka's complete loyalty and considers him a reliable ally to call on for his endeavors. And just to sweeten the deal and make Joka even more effective, Dimentio has been teaching Joka some of his magic. Joka also became one of very few clowns to be considered an ally to The Violator, also known as Clown, since he's a nightmare creature rather than a human (nightmares essentially being the demons of dreams) and the two having quite a bit in common: being the loyal lackeys to powerful evil entities who started off as [[ButtMonkey complete jokes]] only to become much more dangerous over time, and would end up the most enduring enemy to their universe's respective heroes.
** Much to Joka's surprise, while he was seeking out clown allies, ''he'' would be approached for an alliance by Kefka Palazzo and Joker of the Pretty Cure universe, who refers to himself as "Agent of Bad End". The two mad clowns of magic had looked into Joka's background the moment they heard of his ascension and found him to be a very promising partner, what with his willingness to work with would-be [[OmnicidalManiac world destroyers]] and being a devoted lackey without any ulterior motives. And indeed, Joka was more than happy to partner with Kefka and Agent of Bad End; viewing Kefka as similar to Ghadius but much more colorful and humorous, and relating with Agent on being depraved [[TheDragon second-in-commands]] to a world-destroying evil only to step up as the most frequent menace to their universe's heroes. The Pantheon shudders at what these three psychotic magic clowns will do...
** It didn't take long at all for Joka to find the Joker of the DC universe, given his infamy. And for once, Joka found himself being ''[[OOCIsSeriousBusiness hesitant]]'' to ally with that mad clown as the Joker is just too unpredictable for him to consider worth working for. Joka was also quick to learn from other deities that the Joker is generally a [[BadBoss terrible deity to work for]], with Harley Quinn's tenure under the Clown Prince of Crime being commonly cited. Joka felt pity for Harley as he could see that she is an incredibly competent underling who was more than devoted to the Joker, yet gets treated like shit by him most of the time. Joka would've reached out to Harley Quinn for a partnership to make up for her abuse, but Harley has a tendency to act as a "hero" whenever she's not working with the Joker, and Joka has absolutely no interest in hero work. Joker for his part does not appreciate there being yet another "Joker" in the Pantheon, stating that replacing the "er" with an "a" is a pathetic attempt to be unique, and finds Joka's competency too inconsistent to tolerate.
*** While Joka is merely wary of the Joker, he's outright terrified by the Batman Who Laughs, who has all of the Joker's worst qualities but maximized by a lot. Joka will only really work with He Who Laughs if it's in a team-up with Kefka and the Agent of Bad End, since those two managed to befriend He Who Laughs, but otherwise Joka stays the hell away from him even in his beast form.
** Joka soon found two other nightmare harlequins from dream worlds in Vex and Marx, whom he unsurprisingly became good friends with. Joka is particularly impressed by Vex and Marx's cunning, both tricking Sackboy and Kirby respectively into accomplishing their goals for them, and the nightmare jester was disappointed for them when their well-earned victories were snatched at the last second by those heroes. Ever the loyal help for all villainy, Joka had promised to help the two fellow nightmare harlequins win for good, which Vex and Marx greatly appreciated. Vex and Marx were also impressed with Joka themselves, praising his great competency after initial bumbling and dealing an incredible emotional blow to his foe; something the two wish they could replicate if not for Sackboy and Kirby seemingly lacking any family.
*** While not a harlequin himself, Joka took note of how all of Wizeman's minions are jesters or at least have a clown theme to their appearances. With that alongside Wizeman's resemblance to his beloved Ghadius, Joka took a liking to the Nightmare God and struck up an allegiance to him. However, Joka would come to regret this partnership as Wizeman is an exceptionally cruel entity, not even being grateful for the loyalty and hard work of his second-in-command, Reala, and threatens to destroy the Nightmaren for failures as much as his lesser creations. And indeed, Wizeman has little to no tolerance for Joka due to his mostly horrid competency and [[ButtMonkey poor luck]]. Though Joka does manage to impress Wizeman with his brilliant cunning and the Nightmare God is in awe of Joka's beast form, which resembles the exact kind of Nightmaren he'd make. In any case, Joka and Wizeman are willing to work together despite the tension.
* With Joka's most famous act of evil being his killing of [[spoiler:Klonoa's grandpa]], he has gained the favor of deities who are also famed for killing the family members of heroes: Scar, Sabor, Lord Shen, and Voldemort being just the first of such deities to praise the clown fiend for the cold-blooded murder. Likewise, Joka has earned the enmity of heroic deities whose family were killed by villains and deities who ''were'' the slain family, such as the case of Mufasa for the latter. Both he and Simba have threatened to maul Joka should he make any attempts on any other innocent family members, which the harlequin scoffed at; after all, he's a monster of nightmares capable of [[MagicalClown magic]], and they are mundane animals. Of course, Scar was quick to inform Joka that Simba is able to fight even one of the stronger variants of [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} the Heartless]], and Mufasa could possibly do the same. Suddenly, Joka's bravado turned to fear and he gives the lions a wide berth.
** In response to deities who despise Joka for slaying Klonoa's kin, the nightmare clown pointed out to them with the most shit-eating grin that [[spoiler: Klonoa and "Grandpa" weren't even related to each other, the old man merely posing as the Dream Traveler's granddad as part of Huepow's [[FakeMemories masquerade]]. Joka would even feel that his offing of the geezer would be just punishment for that deception if it didn't imply he did something morally "good", simply delighting in finishing off an innocent old man]]. But of course, deities have pointed out in turn that [[spoiler:regardless of the true nature of Grandpa's relation to Klonoa, the two loved each other like family, and Joka certainly didn't know that truth when he committed that deed]].
*** Joka took an interest in Judge Claude Frollo when he heard about the man being responsible for killing Quasimodo's mother, and then attempting to ''drown'' the infant hunchback right after, which the clown fiend was impressed by. Though Frollo wants nothing to do with Joka as he does not associate with monsters, much less one that dresses like the leader of the Romani he so despises. Too bad for him, Joka won't take "no" for an answer and has taken to hanging out with Frollo, both as a "friend" and [[{{Troll}} to harass him]].
* As Klonoa is his greatest enemy, Joka considers all of Klonoa's allies his enemies as well and has sworn to destroy them all. Among Klonoa's friends, Joka harbors the most animosity for King of Sorrow and [=NiGHTS=]; the former being a pitiful-looking [[ContrastingSequelAntagonist contrast]] to his beloved Ghadius who had his goals granted by Klonoa despite threatening his world's destruction just like Ghadius, not to mention resembling Klonoa a great deal. And for the latter, Joka views [=NiGHTS=] as a traitor to nightmare kind, having been created to spread nightmares but rebelled to ''protect'' children from nightmares, and doing so while maintaining his jester appearance.
* Being one of the few sincere allies to Dimentio is enough to get Joka on Count Bleck's bad side, but the fact that Joka loyally served Ghadius to destroy Phantomile and its people has made Bleck determined to take Joka down once and for all. Joka is unfazed by Bleck's threats, however, and loves to ridicule the Count for having attempted to erase ''all of existence'' just cause his girlfriend died. While acknowledging Ghadius' own SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum as extreme, the clown fiend reasoned that at least it was limited to Phantomile, and being rejected for being a nightmare and [[SealedEvilInACan sealed away for three thousand years]] is a lot more understandable than losing a lover.
* Joka found himself in Rayman's list of enemies when the Limbless Wonder came up to the clown fiend, having heard about the latest deity having floating limbs just like himself and wanting to befriend him, only to find said deity to be a nightmare monster committed to all sorts of evil. Rayman also didn't take kindly to how Joka used his own floating, gloved hands to fight, believing the clown fiend to be ripping off his own style. After Joka taunted Rayman's disappointment and then mocked him by mimicking Rayman's punching style, the Limbless Wonder attempted to literally punch Joka's red toothy grin off his face. But much to Rayman's shock, Joka managed to block the punch with his fists, which Rayman learned were as hard as iron as pain swelled up in his own fist.
* Being yet ''another'' [[MonsterClown evil clown]] in the Pantheon, and a nightmare creature at that, Ronald [=McDonald=] immediately declared Joka an enemy who is giving clowns a bad name. Joka can only laugh in ridicule at the fast-food mascot, proclaiming that Ronald's desire to restore the good reputation of clowns is in vain and that he has done far more harm than even the worst of evil clowns by getting many children hooked on deep-fried garbage that would cause health problems all over his world.
* Joka got himself permanently banned from the House of Commerce and all stores in the Pantheon when he used his magic to increase the size of his money tenfold, literally turning his bills of cash giant, thinking that they'll be accepted within the Pantheon unlike the "Beach Volleyball world". But of course, they were not. Even the deities who could tell they weren't counterfeit didn't approve of the oversized bills and kicked Joka out of their establishments. The nightmare clown declared that he would make the House of Commerce and all businesses within the Pantheon pay for this humiliation.

* Wary of: Pirates and robots in general
* Intrigued by: [[Pantheon/{{Canines}} Zinogre]]
* The Teensies, a race of small, magically-inclined people, have a rather strange quirk common among them: They seem to really like disco. In fact, they tend to do it at some rather inappropriate times (at least, from the viewers' perspective). For this reason, the race has been deified to represent this trope. Take a wild guess what kind of welcoming party Pinkie threw for them.
* The leader of all the Teensies is the Grand Minimus, though the tiny folk have a lot of kings and queens. The Grand Minimus has thus been chosen to be the representative for his people.
** The three Teensy doctors -- Otto Psi, Roméo Patti, and Gonzo (not to be confused with the Muppet) -- have been chosen to be the Teensy heralds.
** Less thrilling to the Teensies is that Ales Mansay -- lately known as the Dark Teensy -- is to share the same temple as them, at least until he can have his own trope(s) to rule over.
* Of course Rayman, Globox, and Betilla were happy to see this ascension; familiar, friendly faces in this pantheon are a welcome sight. They hope to see friends like Ly and Barbara ascend at some point, but aren't holding their collective breath.
* Inversely, the Teensies were not pleased to know Admiral Razorbeard was ''also'' in the Pantheon, after he and his crew of robotic pirates had enslaved the entirety of the Glade of Dreams.
** Because of the actions of Razorbeard and his crew, the Teensies are wary of robots and pirates in general, rightly so in the case of the more wicked individuals.
*** Ridley being a space pirate, combined with his shocking brutality, guaranteed that the Teensies would be terrified of him. Samus promised them that if her parents' killer ever gunned for them, she would fight him off to the best of her ability.
*** Other nasty pirates they try to avoid are Felix -- false friendship is a huge no-no -- and Black Manta -- who killed Aquaman's son.
* The good-aligned Teensies are none-too-crazy about Balthazar Bratt, a villain who is a fan of disco. They claim people like him make the genre look bad. Ales Mansay, on the other hand, likes Bratt's style.
* The lupine monster Zinogre has intrigued the majority of the Teensy populace. After all, whoever heard of a wolf that break-dances as it fights?
* The Teensies found a very similar group of creatures in the Guardians. The Guardians are the last hope for the humanity of their world and are perfectly capable of taking on actual gods, yet have the [[BunnyEarsLawyer odd tendency]] to dance at strange times, even if there's [[CloudCuckooLander no music playing]].
** The Guardians warned the Teensies about an enemy of theirs that was also in the Pantheon: the Eliksni, an entire race of cutthroat space pirates that revere technology. To the Teensies, the Eliksni are too similar to Razorbeard and his crew.
* They learned of Amigo's tendency to make people around him dance to his music. They approve very much of this, and have suggested some disco songs he could play. Amigo said he would consider it.
* A former follower of theirs, Jon Arbuckle, ended up ascending alongside his girlfriend, Liz. They celebrated the only way they knew how: invite Jon to a disco party. While Jon accepted ecstatically, Liz was embarrassed.

* Poor Relations: [[Pantheon/CritiqueAndParody The Nostalgia Critic]]
* Since their inception in 1965, Pink Floyd is a British rock band that has gone through a lot and their musical output has had varying styles. Some of their most notable works came in the [=1970s=], when bassist Roger Waters became leader of the band to the point of influencing much of their output during that time. It was during that time period where the band released several albums that had a certain theme conveyed by several songs on them. Among these albums are ''Music/TheDarkSideOfTheMoon'', which is about how time negatively affects a person, ''Music/{{Animals|1977}}'', which takes aim at capitalism, and ''Music/TheWall'', an album that tells the story of a person who blocks themselves from society and falls into drug-induced insanity.
* Roger Waters showed up in the Pantheon one day, unsure what he did to get himself in such a place and was told to find a position so that he can stay. Although the paperwork was done reasonably quick, he didn't realize that the rest of his Pink Floyd bandmates were also a part of the Pantheon until he saw them in what was supposed to have been his temple. It more than surprised him to see his former bandmates back together, especially given the turmoil that the band has gone through, but he rolled with it.
* One of the more notable symbols of the band is related to pigs; more specifically inflatable pigs with the first one appearing in one of the band’s album covers and has since showed up in their concerts, with the rights of the inflatable pigs going to Roger Waters after he went solo. ''Animals'', the album that introduced the inflatable pigs, was critical of capitalism and depicted pigs as ruthless despots, in addition to being a loose adaptation of ''Animal Farm''. When Napoleon got word of the band, that particular album, what it was ultimately about, and the inflatable pigs being associated as a protest symbol of sorts, he came to thoroughly despise the band as a whole (especially Waters given his heavy association with the inflatable pigs) and is plotting retaliation against them.
* As noted, ''The Wall'' is one of the band’s most notable albums put out, especially given the story of a man whose life spirals out-of-control. One of the songs is very much a scathing critique of teachers (with Waters hating his time at school and Gilmour having apparently stated he’s had a horrible education experience at one point), something that many of the more callous teachers take great offense towards. Many deities who have suffered from mental illness seem to relate to the album’s themes and the troubles that Syd (who was apparently the inspiration for the album’s main character) had suffered from.
* ''The Wall'' was later turned into a feature film that was notable for the surreal and disturbing imagery that was used to convey the story. The Nostalgia Critic reviewed it once and hated it to the point where he basically made a parody album that mocked the original thing. Even if the band themselves has some misgivings about the film, they really have no interest whatsoever in what The Nostalgia Critic is talking about, nor the album used to evoke his unsubtle opinion.
* As was the case in the real world, the band has plenty of fans in the Pantheon, as do people who listen to their music. Vinny, who has made some rock music in his spare time, is among those who has listened to the band’s output and has even mentioned a few of their albums as among the music he likes. He has even provided a few opinions of his own, such as not being too big on Waters’ solo career.
* Syd Barret, real name Roger Keith Barret, was one of the co-founders of Pink Floyd and served as the band’s original lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He ended up leaving the band as a result of bouts of mental illness from drug use and after a solo career, he opted to live in private and very rarely spoke to the public, especially when it comes to his musical past. Outside of music, Syd has done artwork and photography, and is noted to like gardening.
** As was the case when he retired from music, Syd isn’t all that interested in having a public presence even in the Pantheon. Despite this, he’s continued his hobbies related to art, photography, and gardening, with Syd making rare and brief visits to the House of Pantheon/{{Plants}} during that house’s more quiet moments, as well as the other gardens that the Pantheon has.
** His use of psychedelic drugs played a role in his personality changing for the worse and eventually being a factor in Syd leaving departing from Pink Floyd. Some have tried to get Syd to meet up with others that have been affected with drug addiction, but none of these attempts have been successful. That said, he was put-off by hearing about what happened to The Son as a result of drug addiction and had a hard time understanding how Norman Jayden’s drug addiction benefits the latter’s line of work.
* Roger Waters is one of the co-founders of Pink Floyd and originally was the bassist in the band’s early years. Following Syd’s departure, Waters more or less took over the band, effectively setting the direction of their most notable work for about 10 years. After leaving the band and getting into a lawsuit with them over the name and material, Waters has taken on a solo career and has performed many of his works (both when he was with Pink Floyd and as a solo artist) for a number of tours across the world.
** A significant part of Waters’ work outside of music involves activism, mainly encouraging people to fight back against any sort of corruption that befalls the world. Even with the more fantastical elements that pervade the place, the Pantheon is no stranger to dealing with issues that the real world has put up with. He has made it a point to protest against many of the Pantheon’s more corrupt political figures and powerful figures that hold politically incorrect views.
** Of the members related to the band, Waters is highly critical of war, given how one of his solo albums was critical of war being used as an entertainment subject. The fact that the Pantheon is stuck in a ForeverWar dismayed Waters greatly and he harbors plenty of hatred towards deities who not only perpetuate war, but actively encourage it. Contributing to that mindset is how Waters’ father was a soldier during WWII and killed during that time, alongside Waters remembering the V-J Day celebrations.
* David Gilmour joined the band as Barret’s behavior became more troubling. Following the latter’s departure, Gilmour served as lead vocalist and after Waters left (relations between Waters and Gilmour soured during that time), Gilmour assumed duties as leader of Pink Floyd. In addition to his work for the band, Gilmour has done solo work and has worked with other musicians such as Roy Harper and Kate Bush.
** Much like Waters, Gilmour has brought attention to a number of problems affecting the world, though in his case they’re related to homelessness, the rights of animals and humans, poverty, and environmentalism. He has donated to various charities dedicated to these issues and has continued to do so in the Pantheon, with him supporting a number of Pantheonic organizations focused on saving nature and providing support for the less fortunate.
* Nick Mason is the son of a documentary filmmaker, the drummer for Pink Floyd and the only member of the group that has stuck around with the band even as the other members come and go. Whenever he isn’t working with the band, he’s into the world of motor racing, having competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans a few times and has an extensive collection of cars, including several different Ferraris.
** The Pantheon has given Mason more time to explore auto racing and given what kind of place the Pantheon is, it would have a lot more than what Mason was used to. There have been a few professional racing contests that Mason participated in and he’s willing to let visitors take a look at his car collection. He doesn’t appear to be all that interested in street racing however and found it weird to meet [[Pantheon/CommonColors Lightning McQueen]] and [[Pantheon/{{Machinery}} Herbie]] given that they’re cars that can function on their own (and speak in Lightning’s case).
* Richard Wright’s primary role in Pink Floyd was playing the keyboard and as a songwriter and arranger for the band’s compositions. As the band continued on, Wright’s contributions began to diminish as Waters started getting more active with writing the group’s music, leading Wright to leave the band as a result of financial troubles Pink Floyd was going through at the time. After Waters left the group, Wright rejoined the band as a part-time musician, eventually becoming a full member once more.
