'''[[VideoGame/TheBindingOfIsaac Ultra Greed]], God of [[MoneyToThrowAway Throwing Away Money]]''' ([[TurnsRed Ultra Greedier]])
[[quoteright:161:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultra_greed.png]]
* Greater God
* Symbol: The Greed Machine; alternatively, Super Greed's head
* Themes: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhdlLlRMH_c Chorus Mortus]], [[https://mudeth.bandcamp.com/track/non-funkible-token-ultra-greed Non Funkible Token]]
* Alignment: NeutralEvil
* Portfolio: {{Greed}}, [[FlunkyBoss Summons Keepers]], [[DamageSpongeBoss Taking high amounts of damage to kill]], [[FinalBoss Final boss of Greed Mode]], [[BanditMook Stealing coins]], [[MoneyToThrowAway Using money as projectiles]], [[SpinAttack Spinning]], [[TurnsRed Turns]] [[TakenForGranite Gold]], [[TheGambler Gambling To Attack]], AttackOfThe50FootWhatever, [[TheMagicTouch Turning things to gold]], StoneWall, NooseNecktie
* Dominions: Money, Gold, Greed, Gambling, Gauntlets, Final Bosses
* Heralds: various Keepers and other Greeds (i.e. Super Greed)
* High Priest: [[VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle Million Gunman]]
* Allies: [[Pantheon/BossDesign Merasmus]], [[Pantheon/GameDesign The Keeper]], [[Pantheon/BossFightsAToM King Dice]], [[Pantheon/OutlooksOnJob the Devil]]
* Rivals: Any {{Greed}}y figures in the Pantheon
* Enemies: ''[[Pantheon/{{Tears}} Isaac]]'', [[Pantheon/FormsOfMedia Cuphead and Mugman]], Mr. Krabs, [[Pantheon/{{Ghosts}} The Flying]] [[Pantheon/{{Piracy}} Dutchman]], [[Pantheon/HorrorGenres Sayori]]
* Popular with: {{Blood Knight}}s, The House of Pantheon/FightingAndCombat
* A mysterious door was found in the House of Commerce, appearing silently through the mist of hectic activity within the Pantheon. Titled "Greed Mode", it functions as a gauntlet that spawns in more and more difficult enemies. After someone endured the challenge they soon were met with... [[TheUnreveal a bunch of Greeds]]. After clearing them out they then fight the actual FinalBoss of Greed Mode, Ultra Greed. After defeating him ([[StoneWall which took a lot longer than expected]]), they opted to kick him out until they recalled the entirety of his attacks rely on throwing away money at others where he was officially deified. Ultra Greed really didn't mind, but didn't plan to waste such an opportunity and accepted. He would of preferred FlunkyBoss, but that was already taken by Onyxia and he didn't feel like fighting over it.
** His first step as a new deity was to update Greed Mode since the enemies present isn't anything too noteworthy or threatening even in the later floors and [[WorldOfBadass the Pantheon's general populace]] wouldn't even think of it as challenge should he leave it that way. It originally started pulling {{Mook}}s from within the [[Pantheon/{{Enemies}} Enemies Sub-House]] but after a mix of complaints for a lack of variety and annoyance of being pulled over and over again he had to pull members from organizations and races to mitigate both problems. Of course that ended up with them complaining about taking their men without warning. Long story short, there's ''a lot'' of enemies you can potential encounter in his gauntlet as the Court of Gods allowed for him to pull many, many types of enemies throughout many different worlds.
*** He also updated the item pool since his challenges are no longer limited to Isaac. It got really popular thanks to the rapid influx of {{Blood Knight}}s alongside many members from the House of Pantheon/FightingAndCombat, though he had to offer up a better reward for their troubles. [[spoiler:Apparently a video showing Isaac turning into another Greed, in other words dying, doesn't cut it...]]
** And speaking of Isaac, the aforementioned little boy wasn't happy to hear that one of the {{Final Boss}}es were in the Pantheon, but still runs the gauntlet as usual. There isn't really much say about their relationship since it's hard to fit Ultra Greed with the fact that [[spoiler:Isaac's adventures were nothing more than hallucinations born from suffocation inside a toy chest]].
* There was another candidate for his title: Million Gunman, the 9th Ranked Assassin in the UAA, known for wielding a golden Mauser that fires rolled up dollar bills. In the ascension process he kept [[WelcomeToCorneria repeating on and on]] about how he either asks others if they're greedy like he is or how he shoots money, sometimes interrupting himself. In the end, he ended up as a High Priest to Ultra Greed. Even if Million Gunman didn't end up annoying everyone, [[Pantheon/AntiHeroism Travis]]' Herald [[FailureIsTheOnlyOption Shinobu would've diced him anyways]] ([[GracefulLoser although he did took his loss against her well, surprisingly]]). His duties only really involve him being anther boss people have to fight in Greed Mode, though fortunately for him (and unfortunately for everyone else) he gets access to his elevators to [[GetBackHereBoss teleport all around the room]]. Supposedly, he only appears to those who try and [[NoFairCheating cheat]] the gauntlet.
* A thing to keep noted about Ultra Greed is that his health scales to whatever sort of power the enemy has. In actuality, he's not as durable as you may think but fighting him sure doesn't feel that way. Those who have trouble dealing damage will find the battle will take ages to finish. Add the fact that he can also heal himself a little bit through heart coins and money itself, and you got a fight in which you have to outlast to win. That being said Ultra Greed's isn't adamant on the [[BulletHell overabundance of projectiles]], unlike some other bosses from his game. [[TurnsRed His second form has him fight as a gold statue]] with new attacks like [[EnergyWeapon golden brimstone lasers]] along with existing attacks now exploding. This form is only available through Greedier Mode, so no cruel surprises in the regular mode. For this reason he gets along quite well with Merasmus mostly due to the fact that they are both highly hard to kill bosses with lots of health. He sometimes appears as boss during Greed Mode as a result.
* Because of [[MoneyToThrowAway the trope he rules over]], there was a wide slew of people out following him to hopefully get whatever cash that's been thrown in battle. To their disappointment, most projectiles just get destroyed upon impact. It doesn't mean that no currency is dropped but the ones that do are disproportionate to the ones he throws out willy-nilly. And since he can heal with them, however little it actually does, by coming in contact with them it doesn't make for a great scheme to get rich. But of course, that doesn't stop people from collecting it anyways. Mr. Krabs, for instance, has done so in the past.
* His appearance is basically a giant version of Greed, with the added noose around his neck, which earned ire from Sayori as a result as many start making jokes about her suicide when he's around. And it doesn't help that he's supposedly not too far behind to get people to make said jokes. One striking feature people [[MemeticMutation tend to note]] about Ultra Greed is how he has [[ShakingTheRump a really large and nice ass]] while walking. Then there's the fact that its the ass of a gargantuan corpse monster. [[FanDisservice Not so nice anymore]]. Apparently he originally was supposed to have a beard and have only a single tooth. More specifically, his appearance was supposed to be based off one of his creators.
* His Keepers are not to confused by ''the'' Keeper, notable for [[MoneyToThrowAway the same thing]] (at least by technicality) and his incredibly complex dungeon design. Ultra Greed could't really believe the talk of how much of a nice boss he is until some of his minions flocked towards his dungeon. "Meeting" the man himself, he had to admit: [[BenevolentBoss He really is a nice guy]]. Although miffed about that, he decided to let them go and gained an ally out of the dungeon designer to get some tips to add help spice up his gauntlet.
** And speaking of confusion, Ultra Greed himself is not to be confused with [[Pantheon/DefensivePowers the other Greed]]. The Ultra part of his name is important.
* Ultra Greed got along well with King Dice due to being a fellow runner of a gauntlet of sorts whilst being undoubtedly evil. Through the literal CardCarryingVillain, he would then become allies with the Devil himself (or, King Dice's Devil at least). The Cup Bros weren't pleased to hear of his involvement with their greatest enemies and has fought him while he was assisting the Devil. He at first didn't get what was so special about the Cup Bros, although he quickly he realized the error of his ways. Even as he tried to get the jump on them by faking his defeat by turning into a golden statue then into Ultra Greedier, they still sent him with his tail between his legs.
* Can turn certain inanimate objects into gold with his Ultra Greedier form [[TheMagicTouch by touch]], like turds for instance. It's not something he can weaponize, but it's still something he is capable of. Some folks follow him whenever he's walking around to steal away whatever got solidified into gold to make a profit or to hang in their temples. It's at least better than depending on his projectiles. And for the record, no, there's no relation to the [[Pantheon/MaximumSecurity Golden Turd]] as that's [[Pantheon/ExtraterrestrialAppearanceAndBiology Rogers's]] doing. He can't create gems alongside it.

* Enemies: '''[[Pantheon/FormsOfImmortality Orochimaru]]''', Pantheon/GUAETrollkaiger
* Fears: [[Pantheon/BloodAndGore Skarlet, Jedah]], [[Pantheon/MagicCasters Sorin Markov]], [[Pantheon/FormsOfImmortality Eliza]]
* She initially served as the co-goddess of Compulsive Gamblers with Marge Simpson after battling her to a draw at Texas Hold-Em. But after an evaluation, it was decided that Tsunade would remain the sole holder of the title. She still visits her in the House of Personal Appearances and has promised not to bring any cards with her.
* May not have ascended at all without the persistence of Naruto, convincing her to be the 5th Hokage after the 3rd's death. She proved to be an effective ruler despite the gambling.
* Fought harder than any other deity to bring Sakura into the fold. Her ascension was met with a bone-crushing hug followed by a party in the House of Health & Medicine. It was a memorable experience.
* One can't talk about her without her Sannin members, both of whom now give her conflicting opinions. She still holds a grudge of Orochimaru for betraying the Hidden Leaf village, and while he is less malevolent, she remains unconvinced of his redemption. She knew of [[Pantheon/LustfulBehavior Jiraiya's]] feelings of her. Hell, she even nearly killed him for spying on her. But she holds grief for his death at the hands of Pein. She was glad he remains in the Pantheon, just that he can't go back.
* While she has done her best to quell her habits, it is stated that she will ''never'' deny any bet given to her, deity or mortal.
* Although stationed in the House of Commerce, Tsunade is also an extremely gifted healer who has many times assisted the House of Health & Diseases in solving difficult cases and successfully treating difficult injuries, as well as a frighteningly powerful combatant who uses a combination of decades of experience and her unique style of Super Strength to devastating effect when she ever has to get serious. In particular, her "Strength of 100 Healings" technique is held up as the pinnacle of techniques for combat medics throughout the Pantheon.
* Despite this, don't expect her to stay there for long as she has a crippling fear of the mere presence of blood. Trollkaiger has taken advantage of this, using her fear against her for pranks as well as to make their getaway.
** Unfortunately for her, there are plenty of blood related deities in the Pantheon. And most of them won't hesitate to use this against her. The GUAG offered to help her get over this fear as it makes her vulnerable against such foes.
* Her legendary strength could strike down any person in her universe in a single blow. Sven has taken note and is considering a test of strength with her.
* Should not be confused to be the Goddess of {{Tsundere}}s. Asuka retains that title and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. But there is no denying she has some elements of the emotion, especially the "Tsun" part. That helped build a friendship between the two.
* Applied to be a part of the next [[VideoGame/PokerNightAtTheInventory Poker Night game]]. She had to be shooed out of the previous two games but remains confident the third time will be the charm. That remains to be seen.
* Whatever you do, ''do not ever call her [[MaamShock an old hag or grandma]]''. She won't hesitate to use said strength to punt you into the atmosphere. Also, don't try to take a peek while she's changing. Jiraiya ''nearly died'' in such an attempt.

* Ignores: [[Pantheon/HeroicArchetypes Ness]], [[Pantheon/{{Twins}} Lucas]]
* Seeks Out: [[Pantheon/MaximumSecurity The Dream Stone]], [[Pantheon/MiscellaneousItems The Tunisian Diamond]]
* Wario was born as one of the Seven Star Children alongside Mario (his eternal FriendlyRivalry), Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser and Yoshi. As he grew up, he initially became an evil sorcerous thief utilizing his strength and power to terrorize innocents and loot treasure. Following some CharacterDevelopment, Wario instead has adopted a more AntiHero attitude, going as far as saving many worlds from bigger evils than him... As long as he can get some benefit and treasure out of it, sometimes even out of his own free will or simply to get whatever trouble that arose out of his way.
* Upon ascending, [[Pantheon/JobModifications Mona]] immediately raced to his office and began helping out with most of his projects because Wario was 'way cool'. However, she does get a bit miffed when she doesn't get her share of the paycheck when she works for him, though in the end never holds it forever against him, especially because she has a crush on him... Much to various deity's confusion. Some deities did eventually found out that Wario has taken her on some of his treasure hunting adventures, which some speculate has let her see Wario's HiddenHeartOfGold up-close, which might contribute to her view of him.
** There's a rumor going around that he was the one that got [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} 9-Volt and 18-Volt]] interested in the pantheon and also paid to have them ascended. When questioned about it, he just shrugs it off and says he just wants them closer so he could get his microgames quicker and easier. [[HiddenHeartOfGold Not that he really believes it deep down.]]
* In spite of his previous enmities with them, Wario and the heroic Pantheon/SuperMarioBros Deities have remained on mostly friendly terms. Toad at times remember how he once had to fight off Wario's threat by himself when he tried enslaving Peaceful Woods, Toadette is secretly good friends with Wario, and doesn't holds any ill will against him for his past actions. They're often seen hanging out and having fun games with each other, other times they get involved in kart races
* Many times Wario has shown his HiddenHeartOfGold, though they tend to happen more in dire situations, it does prove that Wario deep down cares about his friends and employees and, even if reluctantly, might appreciate them far more than he does treasure. That said, do not try to bring this possibility up in front of him, as Wario will give you a [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown rotten day]] for doing so.
* Many vampire deities, even Alucard, tend to stay far from Wario because of his love for garlic as well as for being able to weaponize it. Many such as Alucard himself are intrigued by the fact that Wario can harmlessly turn into a vampire and back to normal with either water, sunlight or garlic which is quite unusual as usually vampire-turned people would die to garlic or sunlight, yet Wario simply goes back to normal. The many versions of Dracula have found themselves to be the most frustrated parties in regard to this, as Wario's able to raid their temple without issue and NoSell their usual abilities.
* Pennywise once had a run-in with Wario when he threatened 9-Volt and 18-Volt, which prompted Wario to defend them so as to not lose employees. Pennywise initially tried to fill Wario with fear, but Wario's response to Pennywise was to beat the crap out of him until It gave up. Afterwards, It tries its best to avoid Wario, as his lack of fear means that Pennywise cannot really win against him. Wario himself was also widely displeased given how Pennywise was a treacherous evil clown who acted friendly, remembering how he was nearly deceived by [[VideoGame/WarioLand3 Rudy the Clown]].
* As he was deceived in the past by Rudy the Clown, who lied to him about helping him escape from the Music World Box when he was trapped in; Wario hates all false and evil mentors who used those that treated them as teachers. Among these stand out Airy and Kor, as both put up a façade of being good guys who wanted to assist the heroes, only to eventually reveal just how evil they actually were. Others who were EvilAllAlong also gained scorn from Wario for this reason, such as Adria and Gunter Prozen, especially the former with how she used adventurers she fooled as sacrifices for Diablo to grow in power, not unlike how Rudy used him to regain his full power and very nearly conquer both the Music Box World and the Outer World where Wario lives.
** A third deceitful "mentor" that earned Wario's hatred was Flowey as the evil flower tried to kill Frisk and guide them to a path of evil for his own sake and to become a god, not unlike Rudy. Unlike most other deities who started out hating Flowey [[spoiler:Wario's opinion did not change even with Flowey changing his ways. But the formerly evil flower has tried to prove to him that he's truly changed, which does not seem to impress Wario for now, Frisk hopes to help Wario's opinion change eventually.]]
* As a greedy CEO he found himself with a large slew of rivals. Especially those from the House of Pantheon/{{Commerce}}.
** His most bitter rivals are the Three Managers of Commerce who serve as the main representatives of commerce in the Pantheon. All three do find Wario a bit of a rival that just won't be able to catch up to them, given how he tends to spend all his well-earned fortune in trivial things such as pizza, buffets and mountains of garlic. That said, Scrooge does respect that for the most part Wario earns his money fair and square and is disappointed whenever he hears that Wario tries to make money through scamming, given that Wario is perfectly capable of making money with adventures, treasure hunting and saving the day not unlike Scrooge after he got over his crueler phases. He also found a lot of common ground in regards to their status as {{Big Eater}}s, even if he never quite reaches the gluttony of Wario.
** Flintheart Glomgold is another rich CEO who Wario views as a rival, unlike with the Managers of Commerce, Glomgold does view Wario as a worthy rival and has occasionally tried to offer him an alliance so both can team up their riches and take down Scrooge's position as the richest being in the Pantheon, but Wario refused as he believes that Glomgold might try to swipe his riches if they do team up.
** Smaug detests Wario for raiding his temple successfully not long after ascending. Even more after he tried burning Wario to death, but instead of hurting him it only temporarily turned him to ash before the thief turned back to normal and dished out a big CurbstompBattle, Wario thinks little of Smaug, viewing him as another fool of many that he stole from.
** Mr. Krabs is another deity who Wario came to detest very quickly, both of them plan on obtaining more money than the other and aren't shy about using every underhanded method there is to get what they want much to the chagrin of their more morally grounded allies who occasionally leave them when they go too far in their rivalry so as to let them de-escalate the whole situation on their own.
** Tamatoa is no stranger to hoarding treasure and has even refused to molt his shell due to it being covered in gold and other treasures. As such he's been keen on making sure his Temple is well-protected against Wario trying to raid it, as he once tried fighting back but Wario overpowered and defeated him, stealing a few of his treasures in the process.
** Larfleeze has a FriendlyRivalry with Wario, often hanging out when not defending his lantern or when they're both not at each other's throats over treasure. Wario respects the lengths which Larfleeze goes through to protect his priced belongings. Larfleeze is at times surprised by Wario's apparent immortality stemming from "not feeling like dying".
* As his bitter rival and nemesis in his world is a female pirate, Captain Syrup, with as much morals as he has, he became quick enemies with Risky Boots, as she's more evil on average than Syrup herself is, and thus has tried to outright assault Wario and steal his riches. Not that Wario let her as she found out the hard way why Syrup had to rely on [[VideoGame/WarioLandShakeIt deception]] to finally get one over Wario.
** Another evil pirate who earned his scorn was Ridley, as the sadistic dragon tried raiding his temple once and proved himself to be way too cruel for Wario's tastes, that said [[BewareTheSillyOnes Wario proved firmly that he is not to be triffled with]]. Ridley has thought of having some payback on the greedy scoundrel ever since, so as to mend his wounded pride.
* Any would-be thieves of his treasure will find themselves on Wario's shit-list. Among these thieves stood out Robin Hood, who in his classic deal stole a lot of gold from Wario's temple and gave it to less fortunate deities and other poor people, which angered Wario enough to buy security systems to keep Hood away, unfortunately for him, various other thieves have begun helping Hood steal more and more to his frustration, he's been thinking of getting advice from Larfleeze to have a way to better protect his temple or outright buy a mechanical security system as he's at times too lazy to do so himself. Worse is that the openings have let other foes such as Risky Boots and [[Pantheon/CrimeAndTransgressions Jack Sparrow]] still even more of his prices.
* Still hasn't forgotten nor forgiven Ganondorf, Bowser and Tabuu for their role in deceiving him into working for the Subspace Army that nearly destroyed every world. In this adventure he antagonized Ness and Lucas even laughing at capturing Ness. Wario himself does not feel proud about this part of his past actions, as while he's greedy and a jerk, he's not a sadist, he prefers to ignore both Lucas and Ness as he is somewhat aware that he's got no real good reputation with them.
* After the events of [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle the battle]] between Donkey Kong and Knuckles the Echidna, he decided to try his luck stealing the Master Emerald, getting into a [[WebAnimation/OneMinuteMelee one-minute long scuffle]] with the red echidna. [[AdaptationalWimp He wasn't himself that day]] and found himself on the wrong end of a giant boulder for his troubles, while [[Pantheon/TechnologicalExperts Dr. Eggman]] stole the gem while they were fighting. Recently, Wario has clarified that the reason he was beaten so easily is simply because he didn't feel like trying to put up a fight that day, and that after his "death" he came back unscathed.
** And then Wario engaged in a WebAnimation/DeathBattle himself, against [[Pantheon/{{Leadership}} King Dedede]], who robbed him of his bike wheels a week before (in Dedede's defense, Wario also wronged him by stealing his hot dog and farting on him). The fight ended with the King lodging a [[SpikeBallsOfDoom Gordo]] [[AssShove up Wario's butt]], just when he was [[FingerInTheBarrel about to fire off a charged-up WAFT]], blowing him up and the planet they were fighting on. After he resurrected, Wario has mostly avoided Dedede but will undoubtedly stand his ground if Dedede tries looting his temple.
* Has ocasionally thought of raiding the whole Pantheon Treasury, though has mostly dialed down to simply seeking artifacts that bring him gold or riches by the hundreds. Among these artifacts was the Dream Stone, as he had hear from Mario's allies about how it was turned into a shower of golden coins back in his home Universe. He also thinks of adding the Tunisian Diamond to his Temple as another shiny artifact for him to collect and keep.
* He actually gets well-along with the less evil and more ineffectual villains of the Pantheon, as they're not too evil for his tastes and tend to have similar personalities to Wario in his worst moments, Wario will hang out with them and often looks for another deity who likes garlic.
* Has a superhero persona called "Wario-Man", who is much stronger and faster than regular Wario. That said, he knows it's pretty stupid to ride his motorcycle in that form as it accelerates far beyond what Wario can control, more often than not chaos will ensue whenever Wario uses this form and rides his bike, with many Houses outright forbidding Wario from using bikes while he's there, not that Wario minds.
* Many deities have tried to find out if Wario's alledged inability to die when he does not feel like it is the truth or just boasting on his part derived from being NighInvulnerable. Wario has so far kept saying that it's all his innate and unique skill and has planned on doing a Pantheon-wide treasure hunt to prove his strength is no InformedAttribute.

* Cantor Anise Tatlin is the guardian to Fon Master Ion, and member of the Malkuth military.
* Despite being only 13 and constaantly claiming that she is a "beautiful maiden", Anise is perfectly capable of holding her own in battle as she can not only use magic but also control her doll, Tokunaga to beat her enemies to death.
* Due to her parents being gullible beyond belief, they frequently lost a lot of money to scams so Anise frequently falls for anyone who has a lot of money.
** She hasn't had any luck with this clearly. [[spoiler:However, what Anise really wants is to become the first Fon Master so she can reform it the way Ion wanted it, a religion that saves people rather than control them.]] It's a hard road to walk as there's a lot who wouldn't let her live down that [[spoiler:she caused Ion to die when she could have prevented that]], thus cursing at her name and hoping she will fail, but not only she will persevere, the rest of her friends are more than willing to stand up for her.
* Anise has become good friends with Neptune due to the both of them being very cheerful most of the time and also due to the both of them sharing [[Creator/MelissaFahn vocal similarities.]]
* It's not uncommon to see Anise with Rom, Ram or Wendy Marvell due to all of them being [[ChildMage children who show exceptional skill at magic.]]
* One time when Anise went to the house of Otherness, she spotted Sophie there and Anise was very surprised to see Sophie wearing her uniform. After Anise asked Sophie where she got one of her uniforms from, Sophie said she had received it as a gift from someone a long time ago. Since then the two of them have been good friends.
** Anise was more surprised to see [[http://www.project-imas.com/w/images/thumb/a/a9/Yukiho_Anise_Costume_%28S_Rare%2B%29.jpg/480px-Yukiho_Anise_Costume_%28S_Rare%2B%29.jpg Yukiho Hagiwara wearing her uniform]]. [[ShrinkingViolet Yukiho refuses to elaborate on where she got Anise's uniform]] however so it will forever remain a mystery.
* Sometimes when she goes into battle, Tokunaga will be wearing a different hat or hairstyle usually ranging from something like a viking helmet to Presea or Heihachi's hairstyle.
* She's not very pleased with her underdeveloped body because supposedly she's [[OlderThanTheyLook Older Than She Looks]]. She has stated that one day, she'll get as big as one of the Poly Racks. Any god that feels sarcastic enough usually replies with something along the lines of, "No way you could get melons like those!"
** For that reason, she also likes to execute what she calls 'Operation Sexy Anise', in which she fights in nothing but her swimsuit. She doesn't seem to care that instead of everyone getting 'mesmerized', everyone instead starts ganging up on her, or at least reacts with mere confusion. However they react, it's never the effect that Anise was hoping for.

* The son of the very wealthy Kambe family, Daisuke uses his money and cutting-edge technology to solve criminal cases. He joins the Metropolitan Police Department's Modern Crime Prevention Task Force where he is partnered with Haru Kato, who disapproves of his way of solving things with money. Together with Haru, Daisuke solves criminal cases and later on the mystery of his mother's murder case.
* Daisuke has taken a liking to the young detective Conan Edogawa and is impressed by his intuition and intelligence. Conan likewise respects how Daisuke can keep mostly keep his composure no matter how stressful the situation. He has lent Conan his money and technological sources to help him solve the various criminal cases within the Pantheon, with Conan very grateful to Daisuke for his help. It helps that an earlier version of Daisuke from the novel series is regarded as a famous detective in Conan's world, so Conan has held Daisuke in high esteem for quite some time.
* He has a great dislike for Mr. Burns, one of the Three Managers of Commerce. While Daisuke uses his wealth as a means to solve crime and circumvent obstacles in his investigations, he would never stoop to the level of greed that Mr. Burns has. He finds it pitiful that Mr. Burns uses his money to stage rescues to fulfill his superhero dreams as Fruit Bat Man, believing him to be far inferior to the original Batman, the "World's Greatest Detective". Using his money as heir to the Kambe Family, Daisuke is trying his best to prevent Burns from taking complete control over the House of Commerce. Burns, on the other hand, has been continuing his takeover but is keeping a close eye on Daisuke.
* Daisuke has struck something of a FriendlyRivalry with Shinya Kogami thanks to their similarities, both being [[RavenHairIvorySkin black-haired, pale-skinned]] detectives regarded by many as handsome who have a disregard for the rules. However, Kogami, the TallDarkAndHandsome God, the stands well above the shorter, 5'6" Daisuke. This mildly annoys Daisuke, who wears shoes that elevate himself by five centimeters to compensate for his height. Nevertheless, the two get along and are often seen smoking together.
* To solve crimes, Daisuke has been buying the top technology out there to help in his goals. Daisuke has been learning from Tony Stark to improve his A.I. butler HEUSC to be just as good, if not better than, Stark's famous A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. He has also been trying to purchase some of Tony Stark's technology like his {{Powered Armor}}s to fight criminals whenever needed. However, Tony refused to Daisuke's disappointment. Nevertheless, Daisuke has gotten a good look at some of Tony's tech and sent ideas of possible upgrades to his loyal relative and Herald, Suzue Kambe.
* Daisuke's motivation for being a detective stems from his mother's tragic death when he was only a child. Given his mother's murder at the hands of his father Shigemaru Kambe, Daisuke has harbored an intense hatred for men who brutally kill their wives in cold blood. Since joining the Pantheon, he has aimed to take down infamous Bluebeard, the Unholy [[TheBluebeard Wife Killer]].
* Scrooge [=McDuck=] has expressed surprise at Daisuke's willingness to spend millions of dollars to solve cases. The cheap old duck cannot understand why he would do so when he gets nothing out of it. He was even more surprised to find out Daisuke's unwillingness to become heir of the Kambe Family and fully inherit his family's abundant wealth. Daisuke, indifferent to Scrooge's disapproval, is mildly surprised that Scrooge isn't willing to spend his money when he can use it to get whatever he needs.
* He has an intense hatred for Manny Pardo, who, on the surface is an incompetent officer with CowboyCop tendencies, is actually the identity behind the Miami Mutilator who grew increasingly disgruntled with the media not paying attention to his killings compared to stories such as the resurgence of the Russian Mafia and its battles with the Cartel from [[Pantheon/ExtrovertFlaws the Son]] and apparent existence of other masked killers from [[Pantheon/MurderAndAssassination the Fans]]. Given the corruption involved in the investigation of his mother's murder case, Daisuke has little tolerance for {{Dirty Cop}}s.
* Thanks to his loose cannon tendencies and penchant for solving obstacles with money, he's come under fire by the House of Pantheon/LawAndJustice for his use of bribery and over-the-top schemes by way of his very fancy technology and social connections. However, even the House has to admit that Daisuke is ''very'' effective at solving cases and catching criminals with his methods, and at the moment he's only under surveillance and won't be disciplined unless anything drastic happens. Daisuke, on the other hand, is very confident that nothing will happen to him and continues to use his financial methods as a detective of the Pantheon. At the moment, he's under monitoring by the House, who are willing to let his actions slide every now and then.
* Daisuke has formed something of an OddFriendship with Nami due to their shared belief in the value of money. Nani, however, has showed mild annoyance at Daisuke's privilege and arrogance from being born into the wealthy Kambe family, while she grew up poor in Orange Town and had to gather the money to save her hometown from Arlong. She's been trying to swindle Daisuke of his money, but he's been clever enough to avoid it so far to Nami's dismay.
* Although confident in his intelligent and financial resources, even Daisuke admits that [[Pantheon/OutlooksOnJob L Lawliet]] is by-far the best detective in the Pantheon even in spite of his eccentrics and far superior than himself. However, the secretive L has not been willing to communicate with his fellow detective Daisuke unless it's through his butler Watari. Daisuke has been trying to bribe L to teach him his skills by getting him the most delicious sweets possible, fully aware of the detective's notorious SweetTooth. L, while still a recluse, has given Daisuke some helpful tips for being a detective.
* He can also be found in Pantheon/HeroicActions.

* Fred C. Dobbs is a down-on-his-luck American in Mexico, looking for work just as the oil boom dies. A chance encounter with Bob Curtin, a guy in the same situation as him, and Howard, an old and experienced prospector, lead them on a search for gold in the Sierra Madre mountains. They dug in the mountains for months, obtaining a considerable fortune for all involved, however Dobbs grew more and more greedy and paranoid that Curtin and Howard would try to backstab him to get his share. Howard had to leave the party and entrusted his share to Dobbs and Curtin until they met again, but Dobbs incapacitated Curtin and took off with all the gold. He then had the bad luck of running into some bandidos, who killed him and took his possessions, scattering the gold to the wind as they mistook it for regular sand. Curtin and Howard couldn't help but laugh at the irony of it all when it was over.
* Was allowed to ascend as his personal story is an excellent example of how greed can easily be the cause of someone's undoing; Dobbs' lust for riches almost completely eroded away his sanity and alienated the closest thing he had to friends, all before he met his unfortunate end. Thus he was deemed a stellar choice for DeathByMaterialism. Unfortunately it seems like Dobbs has kept his entire toxic mindset intact and will continue to hunt for fortune as long as he draws breath. If anything, he thinks that a place like the Pantheon must have a lot more riches ready for the taking than a lousy mountain in the Mexico desert.
* Does not have a lot of friends seeing as he's so unpleasant and downright nasty, plus few are willing to put up with his extensive paranoia that everybody is trying to put one over on him. What he does have are more often business partners who will opportunistically go in search of wealth alongside him, leading to uncertain and temporary alliances that have each participant look over their shoulder all the time. These "allies" have included Wario, who never misses a chance to benefit himself financially, Flintheart Glomgold, who's willing to invest in Dobbs' expeditions so long as he gets his share in hopes of beating Scrooge at being rich, and likewise Rafe Adler, who's not quite so greedy but is always interested in seeing what treasures Dobbs can find.
* Besides the fact that Dobbs has an on-and-off alliance with his great rival Glomgold, Scrooge [=McDuck=] is filled with contempt for Dobbs given how he is completely driven by his greed to the point where he will happily backstab his partners even when he already has more than enough. Dobbs often justifies his attitude by saying those partners would have certainly backstabbed him eventually so they could keep his share. Scrooge does not believe this to be the case at all, at least as far as Curtin and Howard are concerned, and thinks such cynical views help nobody. He feels that even if Dobbs struck it rich, he would never be at peace with himself since he most likely would not have achieved it fair and square if he keeps going the way he's on. Dobbs, characteristically, thinks Scrooge is just trying to hold him back so he can hoard more wealth for himself and disregards him.
* Hearing there are dragons such as Smaug and Fafnir that keep astronomical fortunes deep in their dens, Dobbs regularly draws up strategies for getting in their lairs and getting out again unscathed and carrying as much of their belongings as he can. The fact that they are, you know, ''dragons'', which would chop him up or roast him for taking even a single coin of their hoard, only gave him momentary pause before his greed and madness overruled any reason (not like it's the first time). He justifies these risky enterprises by claiming those giant lizards do nothing useful with their money and just roll around in it, which seems rather more selfish than him bringing their money out and putting it into circulation. For what it's worth, he has gotten away with raiding Smaug and Fafnir's lairs a few times, and so is hated with a passion by the two.
* A less fortunate run-in with a monster happened when Dobbs stopped by the House of Emotion. The sheer power of his greed drove [[Pantheon/{{Consumption}} No Face]] crazy and he went on a rampage as he chased Dobbs around, gobbling up several other deities while Dobbs himself managed to elude him for some time, but ultimately got eaten too. [[Pantheon/{{Destinations}} Chihiro]] had to intervene to calm No Face down and everybody was safely regurgitated. Everybody knew Dobbs was to blame for the rampage, but Dobbs, in a rather foul mood after what happened, simply shrugged them off and left, saying he would just never again step foot in a House where there was little of value to be found and he ran the risk of being swallowed by a monster out of nowhere. Chihiro is glad if that's the case, though she can't say she likes Dobbs' attitude.
* It has come to Indiana Jones' attention that he apparently owes much of his aesthetic to Dobbs, most notably his trademark fedora. Dobbs seems perversely amused that one of the more admired heroes in the Pantheon wouldn't exist in the form is known for if it weren't for him, who is constantly reviled for his greed. Indy for his part finds it all kind of ironic, considering the kind of man Dobbs is; in fact, a lot of the people Indy comes to blows with in his adventures end up succumbing to the same flaws as Dobbs and dying some grisly death because of their materialistic desires. Indy thinks it's pointless to make his predecessor of sorts see the error of his ways, since he is so set on his crazed cynicism. They have since occasionally come to blows when meeting in a place that could have treasure. By extension, Dobbs also made enemies with other adventurer archaeologists like Nathan Drake, Lara Croft, and the League of Explorers given that they also dealt with people like him on their adventures.
* In one instance he took a break from his expeditions at Rick's Cafe, wherein he caught sight of the proprietor himself and thought it was a neat trick that they [[Creator/HumphreyBogart looked exactly alike]]. Rick would be lying to himself if he said he didn't return the interest for similar reasons and for a while he sat with Dobbs for conversation whenever he came to the Cafe. Of course, word of Dobbs' actions eventually reached Rick as well and he was no longer so friendly, though he saw no reason to ban Dobbs from the place either, as long as he was a paying customer. Dobbs was fairly disappointed and said to Rick he thought they understood each other, to which Rick said he understood him all right, as he had seen a fair number of people like Dobbs meet their end at Casablanca. He added that he didn't care what Dobbs did either way, just don't get him involved in his messes. Some time later, Dobbs learned of Rick's actions in helping two resistance fighters at a cost to himself, realizing that they are pretty different after all, as Rick has that damned thing called conscience. They've been distant from each other since.
* Father Elijah is a man with a similar story to Dobbs, taking place in the Sierra Madre even. There was some treasure inside the Sierra Madre Casino's vault and many people wanted to get their hands on it at any cost. Father Elijah was one of them and took the despicable step of enslaving his competitors with {{Explosive Leash}}es to help him break in, justifying his actions by saying something like he's chastising sinners for their materialism, which is a pretty rich thing to say as he's just as guilty of it. He ended locked inside the vault with no means of escape. All Dobbs had to say about these events is that Elijah sounds like a blasted idiot and typically doesn't see in the least that any of this applies to him. However, hearing about the ExplosiveLeash thing seems to have done the trick for keeping Dobbs from forming any sort of alliance with Elijah, as he won't be the fool who ends up with such a contraption around his neck. Having learned of this, Elijah thinks it's best to get rid of Dobbs as a potential rival instead of trying to bring him to his side (though he thinks it's a pity given their shared connection to the Sierra Madre).
* Since he had some bad encounters with bandits in life, one of which ended in his gruesome death by machete, Dobbs is extra cautious as there are a fair few such characters in the Pantheon and he is determined never to get cornered by them again. One of the more notorious bandits is Yosemite Sam, who is so boisterous and loud one can sense him from quite some distance, which Dobbs is thankful for as that gives him more preparation time to deal with him, even if Sam's terrible temperament also makes him somewhat unpredictable. And still on the topic of wild west archetypes, Dobbs once got help from John Marston in fending off Sam, although afterwards Marston quickly dissociated himself from Dobbs after learning what kind of man he was; he has dealt with plenty of the greedy bastards that Dobbs reminds him of to put up with him any further.

* Eugene Harold Krabs is the owner, manager and founder of the Krusty Krab. Starting as a poor youth, his economic acumen and delicious Krabby Patties would lead him to becoming head of Bikini Bottom's most popular eatery. Serving as the boss of Spongebob Squarepants and Squidward Tentacles, it was only a matter of time until he ascended to the pantheon.
* Depending on the situation, Mr Krabs' morality fluctuates a lot. He's usually just a MeanBoss with [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold some affection for Spongebob]], but sometimes his greed gets the better of him and he becomes a villain who'll go to any level to satiate his greed. Sometimes [[KarmaHoudini he gets away with it]], [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty sometimes he doesn't]]. He's sided with both the GUAG and GUAE, however will always side with the opposite team as his nemesis Plankton. The pantheon is keeping its watch on Mr Krabs to not misbehave.
** It was briefly believed [[WebVideo/MrKrabsUnquenchableBloodLust he went completely, violently mad]], however this turned out [[spoiler:to be one of Patrick Star's stories.]]
* He once tried to make a wish on Calypso. However he had made so many [[DealWithTheDevil devil deals]] and sold his soul so many times Calypso couldn't do anything with him, which frustrates him to this day.
* It cannot be stated any further...Mr Krabs ''loves'' money. As in "he literally has [[MoneyFetish a fetish for it]]". So grand was his love of money that he managed to overthrow its prior holder and become a god. Part of this comes from his background of [[FreudianExcuse being poor as dirt]], with money finally getting him happiness. His love of money was so great he tried to steal from ''[[TooDumbToLive Smaug]]''. Mr Krabs later re-spawned after the dragon cooked him into an extra-large Krabby Patty, utterly frightened of Smaug.
* As the owner of the famous and delicious Krabby Patty, Mr Krabs is '''extremely''' protective of the secret formula. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness No amount of money is enough to buy it off him]], and he will butt heads with any of the Grand Alliances with [[MemeticMutation his big meaty claws]]. He is able to get along with Bob Belcher though, as he's not going to try and steal his success.
** Interestingly, he's [[LethalChef a terrible cook]] and its only thanks to the formula his burgers are even edible.
* Should come to no surprise that Mr Krabs hates thieves of any kind. In spite of this, [[{{Hypocrite}} he's stooped to theft]], and is in many ways a pirate. Not that he has issues with other pirates, and has a FriendlyRivalry with Jack Sparrow. 224** Word to the wise; '''never''' [[BerserkButton mess with his thermostat]]. Even if it ends up working for the best with him. And don't try to freeze him, as he has bad memories of when King Neptune did so to him.
* Impressed by the cheapskate ways of Nigel West Dickens, and how money-wise Scrooge [=McDuck=] is. They often end up competing over who's the best rich person.
* Having faced a bivalve like Jaws, Mr Krabs is naturally at odds with him. He's also at odds with Thresh, due to the danger that hooks pose.
* Realizing they were inherently valuable creatures, Mr Krabs once tried to kidnap Cael Cynder and Nibbler, "farming" them. Fry managed to save the day by trying to break their safe, only for him to fail and accidentally lead Mr Krabs to say "open".
* He was fascinated upon learning the Orange Lantern was a thing. He believed that getting a ring of avarice would be perfect for him, however learned just what it did to Larfleeze. In the pantheon, he gets along with fellow crabs Shen Gaoren and Kingler, as crabs stick together. Unfortunately for him there's been a rumor he's been cannibalizing crabs for Krabby Patties, but so far there's no proof. Still, the fact crabs are scavengers has made people suspicious.
