* Heralds: Cao Pi and Zhenji (his son and daughter-in-law), Dian Wei (his [[BodyguardingABadass bodyguard]]), Cai Wenji (his MoralityPet), and the rest of the [[Characters/DynastyWarriorsWeiKingdom Kingdom of Wei]].
* Allies: [[Pantheon/{{Weapons}} Xiahou Dun]], [[Pantheon/WeaponWielding Xiahou Yuan]], [[Pantheon/ValuesAndEthics Oda Nobunaga]]
* Rivals: [[Pantheon/FriendshipDynamicsAToL Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei]], [[Pantheon/ConquestAndConquerors Sun Ce]]
* Enemies: '''Lu Bu''', [[Pantheon/VillainousAppearances the other Oda Nobunaga]]
* Royal regents are supposed to hold their power for a limited amount of time. This was not the case with Cao Cao. He's RegentForLife, and he's still the one running the house.
* One of the few who was nonplussed by the ascension of Oda Nobunaga as he has met [[VideoGame/WarriorsOrochi an Oda Nobunaga]] before and knows of his less then favorable nature. However, this Nobunaga eventually appalled him with his greater brutality and he came to consider him another beast that he must slay to end the chaos. Thankfully with the rise of the more normal Nobunaga, Cao Cao has calmed down.
* Despite his disdain for the impracticality of Liu Bei's idealism, Cao Cao does respect his personal charisma and moral fiber. He has tried several times to persuade him to his side.
** In addition, Sun Ce has ascended, bringing perhaps the greatest of the Wu leaders to the Pantheon as well. Now Cao Cao must plan a two front war once again. Part of him relishes the challenge.
* Though he knows of the grand might of Lu Bu, he also knows of his treacherous nature. If Lu Bu were to ever fall to him, he would execute him without listening to any offers he had.
* Despite his title as Hero Of Chaos, he has attempted to plan an end to the Chaos in his homeland and in the Pantheon, as he believes that doing so would create peace no matter the cost.
* Has a bit of a lustful side. Is visibly embarrassed when others bring up a rumor that he carved a path through most of China just to add the Qiao sisters to his harem.
** Funny enough, Cao Cao himself feels a lot better in that the whole reason for that was all just a myth, and that he merely just made a simple poem about their beauty with no ill-intent. And even then his concubines have very good opinions of him since Cao Cao cared very well for them historically. Nonetheless, he still prefers to slip away from the two Qiaos whenever possible, perhaps fearing for the worst. However, a common joke among fellow gods tends to be:
*** "Hey! The two Qiaos are coming!" *Cao Cao bails instantly*
* However, he is proud to admit and ''will defend'' his historical love for arts and poetry. A dude named Zhang Song learned the hard way via reciting a popular-and-still-used-to-this-day commentary of the Art of War by Cao Cao himself just to humiliate the warlord. Needless to say, Cao Cao has referenced how many whippings he gave the supposedly-poor sod. That, and he has disliked how people may have mistaken his poem of the Two Qiaos as mere perversion.
* It is rumored that his rise began with someone wondering out loud why he wasn't in the Pantheon. Well, as the idioms say, "[[SpeakOfTheDevil Speak of Cao Cao and he appears at the gates.]]" In about a week after the phrase was uttered, Cao Cao appeared at the gates of the Pantheon.
* Is one of the brightest and most cunning leaders of the Pantheon, revered in the House of Leadership. Just ask about how he beat down a ''far'' grander army with a scarce number of soldiers on the plains of Guandu.
* Will always raise an annoyed eyebrow whenever someone pronounces his name as "Cow Cow". Used to be an old practice, but he has since fixed that and it's no longer on his alternative transcribed name. For reference, you can spell his name as "Tsao Tsao".
** For those who don't know, his name is actually pronounced "Tsao Tsao" in Chinese pinyin (but with a bit of an extra "Ch" sound). Same goes for his style name that's rarely spoken out in actual English dialogue, which is "Mung-duh" (again, also in pinyin).
** And for your own good, don't even try to apply the same pronounciations problems with his son Cao Pi. Read the wrong pronounciation at your own risk of [[WebComic/SanThreeKingdomsComic being castrated, and not even saying "Let me goooo, I'm still virgin..." will help.]]
* Hidden deep within his divine treasury is... [[WebComic/SanThreeKingdomsComic a collection of duck hats.]] No-one knows why. Also a lot of his followers [[WebComic/SanThreeKingdomsComic has referred to him as 'sexy']].
* Is happy to see his cousin Xiahou Dun ascend and with his ascension has decided to conduct plans to stop the Chaos in The Pantheon, also has another person to play Go with him when off the battlefield.
* [[Pantheon/LustfulActs Issei Hyodo]] is keeping an eye on him, out of having a suspect on him being like the [[BloodKnight Cao]] [[CombatPragmatist Cao]] he's used to, who is actually one of his descendants.
* Is also known for his famed "Beside Heaven Sword", one sword out of a pair he held via folklore. Apparently, Zhao Yun managed to take his "Qinggang" (Azure Band) Sword via the popular novel-version of the Battle of Changban. Some people say that Cao Cao may have replaced that said sword with another one akin to it (due to a different name for that sword in Japanese media), but he still wields the Beside Heaven Sword as his main weapon.
** Nowadays, after seeing Liu Shan take up the sword for himself, he has appointed him in Xiahou En's memory to be his next sword bearer of the Qinggang Sword. Cao Cao himself is rather surprised that out of the sword-bearers he's had for the blade, Liu Shan was very skilled at wielding it, especially as a rapier no less.
* Secretly learned about the Midnight Channel and how it was making a show to show how historically, his 'rivals', Liu Bei and the Shu army weren't as virtuous as it was to be. Surprisingly, Cao Cao is not even taking advantage of this, but tried to tell his army to keep on cautions. Some say that he might pull an EnemyMine with Liu Bei against this mysterious force, as he refused to let such thing intervene with his own usual ambitions and plans, especially the peace he's worked hard for.
** This stemmed from having visited a realm where he was surprisingly praised as being actually virtuous, but the moment he found out that the realm unjustly shat on Liu Bei while whitewashing his own merits, [[EveryoneHasStandards Cao Cao was disgusted and turned away.]] He will prefer that he doesn't get overpraised, if Liu Bei wasn't that virtuous in history, so was he, that's the nature of war. He also realized that the virtues of his time would heavily disagree with him and call him a demon, but so be it. He was just trying to survive the era just like everyone else.
*** Cao Cao himself has stated in past records that have been dug up that he also at least had many accounts where he recruited and treated people justly out of practical reason (and aside from being a massive bro to his men) and not being afraid to admit that he himself can be wrong on any possible occasion. Two examples he brings up of his imperfections is him sparing Cai Yan AKA Cai Wenji's husband Dong Xi after she pleaded to him not to execute him, as well as never punishing a rebel when he soon realized the sole reason for his rebellion being he wanted to protect his subordinates.
---->''"And one more thing....if you DARE show yourself to be unworthy of your job in terms of abusing it and being a no-show out of spite, then I WILL rob your position away to someone who will have more heart and skills for it. If you failed your job, but tried, then by all means try something else and leave it to someone else."''
* When historical buffs ask Cao Cao of how he managed to withstand eating nothing but veggies for the rest of his life (via one of his concubines expressing her belief against meat to him). Cao Cao himself doesn't have much to say other than "I just did. Nothing too complex, yes?"
* A recent report has stated that his ancient tomb and by proxy his corpse may have been recently discovered somewhere. Cao Cao himself has no comment on this matter.
* Whenever there's someone named Hua Tuo running around, Cao Cao seems to often wish for forgiveness since "he executed him irrationally". He may or may not have tried to poison the Wei Lord, which once again, may be another rumor at Cao Mengde's expense.
* Is rather bewildered that between two live-action ''Three Kingdoms'' dramas (including the one that focused on Sima Yi), an actor by the name of Yu Hewei has portrayed both Cao Cao himself and Liu Bei.
* Upon noticing the extended family across the three kingdoms he shares, he realizes that pure chaos will happen when Zhang Fei, Sun Quan AND his middle son Cao Zhi ever drink together; the results will likely not be pleasant......

* Enemies: [[Pantheon/{{Eyewear}} Relius Clover]], any evil Kings, Greater Gods and Overdeities
* A man named Erston Outway started appearing in various houses and other places in the Pantheon, striking up conversations with random deities to learn more about what they were like while they were still mortal, and about their cultures too. Around the same time, Gaius's temple, resembling the throne room of Rieze Maxia, appeared in the House of Royalty. Despite not wanting anyone to know, the moment the knowledge books were updated with the information that Gaius was king of Rieze Maxia while he was mortal and often traveled under the guise of his birth name so he could learn about people from other regions, his true identity became common knowledge in the Pantheon.
** Shortly after this, Muzét and Elize both promptly came up to his temple and greeted him. He was glad to see both of them, and often visits them as well.
** Though not much of a secret anymore, he still continues the same charade of going by his birth name at social events. It's taken as a gesture of goodwill more than anything else.
* Gaius looks upon the evil Overdeities and Greater gods with disdain due to his belief that the strong should protect the weak. Many of these confrontations usually end with Gaius getting into a fight with said Greater god/Overdeity.
* Gaius gets along well with Alucard, Roy Mustang, Zero, Mondo Zappa and Azir as they share [[Creator/RyotaroOkiayu certain]] [[Creator/TravisWillingham qualities]] with Gaius. Especially Azir, because Gaius believes he's a good ruler for his followers, and Mustang, for sharing the desire to reform a corrupt system and enable understanding between different compatible cultures.
** However, Gaius absolutely despises Relius Clover despite [[Creator/TravisWillingham sounding similar]] due to the heinous acts he performed on his family.
* Gaius gets along well with Saber, as she was once a kind ruler to her people in her former life.
* Whenever he visits the house of food, many deities try and keep Gaius away from alcohol whenever it's near him as Gaius gets…[[CantHoldHisLiquor weird]], when he drinks.
* Gaius is allies with Kaito Kumon due to their shared belief that the strong should protect the weak.
* Has recently taken note of Androids 17 and 18, being glad to see that the two siblings are on the same page again considering his estrangement with his own sister Karla. He's also glad that contrary to their "creator's" purpose for them as destroyers, they each (along with Android 16) have something they treasure and protect with their strength; the families the twins have formed, as well as the animals at the park 17 guards.

* Oppose: Pantheon/{{Ghosts}} (Minami)
* EvilCounterpart: [[Pantheon/{{Siblings}} Azula]] (Towa)
* To be strong. To be kind. To be beautiful. Haruka Haruno, Minami Kaido, and Kirara Amanogawa, young students of Noble Academy, along with Towa Akagi, an actual princess, strive to meet these important traits as they become Grand Princesses. Sounds... overly girly, doesn't it? Well because they also bear the essences of the Anime/PrettyCure, lots of ass-kicking also ensue, and it was ''awesome'' that even men were impressed. Thus, their ascension, to show that princesses doesn't always make things just girly... it also makes things better and awesome.
* Many in the Pantheon were shock that their journey in their own universe [[spoiler:ended [[BittersweetEnding bittersweetly]]. While many expected they go in different direction because of their dreams, nobody saw that Towa would be seperated from her friends with no guaranteed of her returning. That was because the link between Earth and Hope Kingdom was severed. So when the four somehow made it into the Pantheon, TearsOfJoy were shed by the girls as they reunited for so long. They weren't the only people to cry]].
** It should be noted that the Princesses appearances tend to fluctuate. Why? [[spoiler: It's because they are the rare instance of Pretty Cures who actually grew up to young adults]].
* Were surprise that their [[spoiler:Crystal Dress Up Keys replicas some how transformed into their transforming Dress Up Keys. Not only that, they gained access to the other keys, including their Grand Princcess Keys]]. When question how that was possible, they were told [[AWizardDidIt not to worry about it]].
* When they entered the Pantheon, they made quite an impression in the House of Royalty. But, they were also taken by surprise that there were some unfortunate Princesses that got into quite a bad luck because of their royal status... such as [[Anime/CrossAnge Ange]]. However, this doesn't deter Haruka to tell her that while her situation was severe, she should try to remember her good times being a honest-to-god Princess. Due to how jaded and cynical Ange is, especially towards ''any'' facet of her "old life", this is proving difficult (with the aFallen Princess once (when already stressed about something else, to be fair) implicitly threatening to attack Haruka if she didn't shut up and leave her alone), Haruka remains determined to try and help her.
* A lot seems to at first mistake Haruka's dream to 'being a Princess' to be... superficial. They'll shut up when Haruka explained that it's supposed to be a dream without end, to continue to be a good, inspiring figure to all like a Princess, instead of 'just being cute and wearing frilly dress'.
** Haruka's love for flowers could rival that of her fellow Pretty Cure, Tsubomi. She makes frequent visits to the sub-house Pantheon/{{Plants}} were she has her own flower bed for her own plants. Oh, and if anybody dares to stomp on a flower on purpose, she won't hesitate to kick their butt.
** Got along very well with idol singers Haruka Amami and Honoka Kosaka. Nobody were surprise since all three are [[GenkiGirl energetic young ladies]]. The two idols have even taught Haruka some dance moves.
** One of Haruka's admirable attribute is her determination. While she may not be good at things she interested at first, she continues to practice until she has perfected it. This garnered the respect of both Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga who are also determinators.
** Goes totally red when others ask her what her feelings are for Prince Kanata. She goes even redder when her friends ask the same question.
* Minami seems to take after various 'Water-based Rich Girl Precures', with both [[Anime/YesPrettyCure5 Karen Minazuki]] and [[Anime/SmilePreCure Reika Aoki]] as her seniors. Though they are equally impressed with the path she took: Trying to be a sea creature veterinarian, it's so thematically fitting.
** After her ascension, she made it her point that if she speaks about her parents, she mentioned BOTH her dad and mom. She can't believe she forgot to mention her mom in those times when both of them are equally loving.
** [[spoiler:Since she is studying to be a marine biologist]], Minami has venture into subhouse of Pantheon/AquaticLife. While being careful to avoid the more dangerous sea beasts, she has befriended the other friendlier ones. She is most closes to Ecco the dolphin since she befriended one back in her world. Also, Surprisingly enough, she one of the few to be able to approach and touch the Red Gyarados.
** And much like some certain Gods, just don't bring up about ghosts in front of her. She avoids the House of Ghosts that way.
** Minami thought she [[Creator/KazuyukiOkitsu heard]] her brother in the pantheon. It turn out to be Jonathan Joestar. When the first [=JoJo=] found out Minami [[spoiler: wanted/is a marine biologist]], he introduce her to his great-great grandson, Jotaro Kujo, who is also a [[spoiler:marine biologist]].
* Kirara is seriously one of the more popular Goddesses around, because she's not only quite energetic in a good way, she's also known to be a good model for someone that young. She seems to make plans with [[Anime/FreshPrettyCure Miki Aono]] to have a dual model show.
** If she got friends, she'll make sure [[TheNicknamer to make up some good nicknames for them.]] Though she admits, she has less nicknames when compared to [[VideoGame/BlazBlue Taokaka]]'s list, though everyone admits hers were more cute-sounding, when compared to Tao's 'innocently dumb sounding' list.
** As a fashion model, Kirara has draw the attention of her fellow fashionista Pretty Cure member Hime and Erika to model some of their design. Rarity has also use her to model some of her more humanoid style dresses.
** Like Haruka, some thought Kirara's dream of being a model to be shallow . However, she has proven multiple times she takes her modeling very seriously and work her hardest to be the best which earn respect from the doubters.
** Really loves her donuts. Especially if they are Marble Donuts. A good way to get her to do thinks she may not want to do is bribe her with them. She also made friends with other donut lovers in the Pantheon.
* Towa's history and how she became a Cure in the first place is said to be drawn from both [[Anime/FreshPrettyCure Setsuna Higashi]] and [[Anime/SuitePrettyCure Ellen Kurokawa]]. In fact, she used to train from them.
** At first, the mention of 'Twilight' would really distress her, because she used to bear that name and do evil things to hurt people. However, after a meeting with [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Twilight Sparkle]], especially after finding out [[Creator/MiyukiSawashiro they sound kind of similar]] and the latter was a much positive figure and never held it against Towa for that name, she became more relaxed on that name, and even tried considering Twilight Sparkle to become a 'royal pony for Hope Kingdom'.
** Towa is consider the GoodCounterpart to Azula as she is a fire princess with a good relationship with her brother and is love by her people. While she does interact with Zuko since they are both atoners, she does feel sorry Azula's predicament. Even if she a bit crazy.
** Towa has been seen hanging around with fellow warrior of Justice, [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Chase]]. The two bonded over the fact that they were both good people who were brainwashed into evil but were able to break free and fight to atone for their sins.
** Can be seen in the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} playing her violin. There are some who commented that her most played piece sounds a bit sad despite it being associated with her brother's love and being the catalyst for her [[HeelFaceTurn redemption]].
* As they fought and eventually defeated the one who brought forth despair, Dyspear, they are one of the most prominent HopeBringer in the Pantheon, hence earning the enmity (both ways) of despair-bringers such as Kefka, Terumi and Monokuma.
* Klefki was interested in their Princess Keys and stole them. When the girls were able to retrieve them, they gave him a stern lecture on stealing other people possessions.
** Klefki felt humiliated from this, so it conjured up a plan to try again.
* Haruka was fooled by Klefki into thinking that Kanata has been ascended into the Pantheon and was being led into the Toku Demonic Legion.
* Haruka was trapped inside the Legion with all her keys stolen by Klefki as the result, but she showed no fear in the place, neither did she hated Klefki for its deceit.
* Feeling bad for what it did, Klefki decided to return her keys back. Together, they busted out of the place.
* Klefki tearfully and repeatedly apologized for what it did, but she thanked Klefki for its help and forgive it with a grin.
* Haruka offered to form a partnership with Klefki. It happily accepted.
* Haruka entrusts all her Dress Up Keys to Klefki so that no one else can rob her powers.
** At first, the rest were distrustful towards Klefki, but Haruka successfully convinces them to do the same.
** In entrusting Klefki their Princess Keys, Klefki is able to tap into their powers and temporally use moves it would normally wouldn't learn.
* While all four girls don't like Akio, Haruka and Towa dislike them the most. Might be because he eerily [[{{Expy}} looks like]] Kanata and they were disturbed at the things he did to his own sister.
* At first, the girls mistook Maleficent for Dyspear. The girls thought her putting a curse on Aurora just because she wasn't invited to a party to be petty.
** The girls in general have taken a disliking to many of the Disney villains. The reason why is because most of them have either tried to steal or manipulate the hero(ine)'s dream. And most of them are Princesses.
* Princess Morbucks once tried to bribe her way into becoming a Princess Pretty Cure. She was refuse by the girls because she doesn't show any strength, beauty, or kindness associated with being a Princess.

* Opposed By: The Evil Rulers in the House of Royalty.
* It was not the grand opening of the Pantheon branch of the Wakandan Embassy[=/=]Temple that had the Pantheon abuzz, but rather its ambassador. T'Challa, the Black Panther, former King of Wakanda and now, the King of the Dead, has come to the Pantheon.
* T'Challa is considered to be the good counterpart to Doctor Doom. Speaking of Doom, he was very much pleased to see that the Black Panther has ascended, as Doom sees him as his equal...for the most part.
* It is a known fact that T'Challa is among the eight smartest men in the Marvel Universe, as he holds a Ph.D in Physics from Oxford University. Out of the eight, he is ranked sixth.
* Speaking of the aforementioned seven, his relationships with them are... varied. While he respects Victor Von Doom for his intellect, they are on opposing sides. He is on common ground with Reed Richards and sees the potential in Franklin and Valeria. As for Tony Stark... it's rather complicated. While T'Challa recognizes that Tony is brilliant, he tends to make rash decisions, such as [[ComicBook/CivilWar2006 backing the Superhuman Registration Act]] and the decision to [[ComicBook/PlanetHulk exile the Hulk from the planet]], [[ComicBook/WorldWarHulk and the Hulk's invasion of New York with the Warbound]]. And then there was the [[ComicBook/AvengersVsXMen fiasco surrounding Hope Summers]] that ultimately led to his anulling his marriage to Ororo Munroe.
* Turns out that the Wakandan scientists has discovered a cure for cancer. Why T'Challa has not released it yet - or whether he's being a total dick about it - we'll never know. The common notion is that Wakanda's xenophobic policies and outlook on the world means they have no real desire to help the outside world unless it affects them. As such, T'challa can only do so much as TheGoodKing in trying to get his people to change.
** In regards to Mar-Vell's case though, T'Challa pointed out that Mar-Vell was not human, but a Kree. One that had extensive genetic modifications to make a super-soldier. As such, the cancer (or the tree equivalent, apparently all races have their own version of it) affecting him would requiring a different cure than a human cure for cancer because of differing biological processes. Especially depending on the stages of cancer.
* Everett Ross' analysis on the Black Panther could be summed up as this: "The thing people keep forgetting about my client is, well, he's a '''king'''. He's not just another nutjob in tights. He's a full-bird monarch from one of the most technologically advanced nations on the planet. And, somehow, we keep forgetting that."
* Ororo Munroe is of mixed views upon hearing of T'Challa's ascension to the Pantheon, seeing as how not only was she was his wife and Queen of Wakanda. But she sided with the X-men [[ComicBook/AvengersVsXMen over the situation with Hope Summers]] while T'Challa backed the Avengers. In the fallout, T'Challa had their marriage annulled (as he was also high Priest and had the power to do so).
* Johnny Cage can sympathise, as his ex-wife is also in the Pantheon, along with their daughter. "At least you and General Blade are on speaking terms," the Black Panther said, while he is torn on what to do.
* Has formed a trio in the form of himself, Eugene Gallardo and Franceca Lucchini. Pretty fitting, seeing as how Eugene is an anthropomorphic panther and Franceca's familiar is also a panther. Team Panther, as Logan had dubbed them has made a reputation for honor and fairness.
* As he is a king, he is on friendly terms with the good deified members in the House of Royalty. The bad ones, however, are looking to plunder his nation's Vibranium reserves, and are in cahoots with the House of Villains in order to perform the task.
* T'Challa found an interesting alliance with Dudley, his Capcom counterpart. Both of them speak well of their respective exploits, and unlike his treatment with Ororo, he seems to be on good terms with Elena.
* While T'Challa is no longer King of the Dead, he has been experiencing some problems with his nation; [[spoiler: several of his bodyguards and citizens have been rebelling, believing the king is no longer needed, with two figures in particular sowing the seeds.]]
* After it all, T'Challa remains king, albeit [[spoiler: as a spiritual title with Wakanda no longer being an absolute monarchy. Not that it has stopped problems from arising, especially with a galactic empire somehow rising when he was away... one he did not found.]]
* Beneath the crown and power, T'Challa is a man of science and indeed has pronounced that had he not been king, a scientist would be his first career choice.
* While [[Pantheon/ActsOfWar Wizard and Boomstick]] couldn't call the man himself anymore due to new regulations set on the hosts regarding GoodVersusGood battles, they had a simulation set up where he engages Batman in a WebAnimation/DeathBattle. According to them, [[spoiler:Black Panther would come out on top in a straight-up battle]]. T'Challa had to agree with the results and is greateful that he and Bruce are allies.
* Is a bit weary of [[Pantheon/TheatricPerformers Andy Serkis]] because he is the [[Film/BlackPanther2018 live action portrayer]] of T'Challa's enemy Ulysses Klawe.
* Given his enhanced senses, there are those who worry about [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KXrviM6k2A how many farts]] he's likely heard, smelled, and even ''seen'' (via infrared). Of course, nobody wants to tell that around him.
* Took [[Pantheon/OtherWeaponTropes Blake Belladonna]] in as an apprentice of sorts due to their commonalities; chief among them being heroes who represent persecuted minority races in their respective worlds and their feline-themed powers and weapons. T'Challa sees in her a strong young heroine that can greatly benefit Remnant and the other worlds in the Pantheon, and hopes to help her realize her fullest potential; endangering her life has been known to trigger paternal instincts within him he never knew he had. He has since attempted to fuse together Vibranium and Dust technology to create tools for Blake and her teammates to use, although not all have been successful.
* Has recently held a moment of silence in light of the passing of his live-action avatar, Creator/ChadwickBoseman.
* He learned of an alternate timeline when he was kidnapped by Yondu's ravagers to become Star-lord which included feats like turning the Ravagers to become like Robin Hood and becoming so well known that [[spoiler:he convinced ''Thanos'' to not go with his plan to decimate half of the universe's population. However, this also meant that it came with the reveal that Ego was able to get to Peter Quill so easily...]]

* Complicated Relationships: [[Pantheon/MealsNToZ Remy]]
* Amicia and Hugo de Rune are the children of Robert (a knight) and Beatrice (an alchemist) of the noble de Rune family. Hugo was born with an illness and Beatrice had kept him sheltered in the house in the hopes of finding a cure. During the Hundred Years War in 1348 Aquitaine, Amicia loses her dog Leon during a hunting trip and on the same day, her household is invaded by the Inquisition, who slaughter the family servants with [[TheDragon Sir Nicholas]] killing her father and seemingly her mother in cold blood. After barely escaping with their lives, the siblings come across a village that has been encroached by the plague, forcing them to escape from hostile and paranoid villagers as well as the rats responsible for spreading the plague. Throughout their journey to find a cure for Hugo's illness, the siblings are joined by Lucas (an apprentice to Hugo's doctor, Laurentius), Melie, Arthur (both of whom are theives), and Rodric (a blacksmith) as they avoid rat swarms and Inquisition soldiers. Lucas explains to Amicia that Hugo's blood bears the Prima Macula, a supernatural evil that has laid dormant in several noble bloodlines since the Justinian Plague, and that Beatrice and Laurentius have been searching for a cure. The head of the Inquistion, Vitalis Benevent, wants to covet it's power.
** After recovering a forbidden book that could help them create the elixir that may cure Hugo, the group learn Beatrice is still alive and being kept as a prisoner by the Inquistion, but Amicia insists they keep this from Hugo for his safety, unaware that the latter overheard her. After creating the elixir and using it to relieve Hugo's symptoms, Hugo runs away and turns himself in to the Inquistion so he can reunite with his mother, discovering that the Macula grants him the power to control the rats. A month after Vitalis transfuses Hugo's blood into himself, Nicholas and an embittered Hugo invade the group's safe place, with the former killing Arthur, before Hugo and Amicia reconcile and team up to take out Nicholas via the rats. Now with the rats under their control, Amicia's group take the fight to the Inquistion, with Rodric sacrificing himself to help the group reach Vitalis. While Hugo has his rats fight against the white rats under Vitalis's control, Amicia is able to successfully kill him. Three days later, the group are able to get rid of the rats and the plague, but since they killed a high-ranking member of the church (excommunicated or not), they are forced to leave the region in order to find a new safe haven for themselves and Beatrice, but not before Melie parts ways with them.
* After the events of their journey, the Court of the Gods took interest in the siblings' struggles against the Inquisition and the Black Death, offering them a place in the Pantheon as the Co-Gods {{Noble Fugitive}}s. The two accepted, if only to find a safe haven for themselves. Upon making a new home for themselves in the form of their temple, Amicia and Hugo took a tour around the Pantheon, marveling at it's wonders, and finding friends and foes with other gods.
* Amicia is shown to be impressed by the Elric Brothers' [[AlchemyIsMagic power to transmute raw materials]]. The brothers have offered to teach her how to perform Alchemy alongside their teacher Izumi (though the latter's teaching methods scare her a bit). Amicia is shown to loathe Father, Dante, and Gold-Toothed Doctor for their misuse of alchemy, as well as how they create Philosopher's Stones, and promises to help the brothers to put a stop to them if they require her assistance.
** Amicia's view of the homunculi in the Pantheon varies. Pride, Wrath (aka King Bradley), Lust, and Envy elicit both her fear and contempt for their atrocities as well as the fact they are far more dangerous than a knight. Gluttony and Sloth are just as dangerous, not just for their abilities, but also for their demeanor, so while Amicia doesn't dislike them per say, she still fears having to face them. Greed is the only of the Father's seven homunculi she has an amicable relationship with and sees as an ally.
** Amicia comes to befriend Irisviel, Illyasviel, and Sieg, all of whom she sympathizes with very much for their struggles (Although, she was initially uncomfortable with Illyasviel's actions prior to her HeelFaceTurn).
* Merida and Leia form a mutual friendship with Amicia, both being {{Tomboy Princess}}es and {{Combat Pragmatist}}s.
* Alucard sympathize with Amicia's faith being shattered due to the Church considering them all heretics. All good deities in the House of Pantheon/ReligionAndFaith also sympathize with Amicia, but do hope that one day, her faith can be [[RebuiltPedestal renewed]].
** Speaking of faith, some of the most evil deities in the House disgust Amicia, including the actions of Chakravartin, a god who deliberately causes suffering to satisfy his own god complex. Amicia also dislikes Light Yagami, seeing how his [[AGodAmI god complex]] motivates him to commit murder, even if some of his victims haven't done anything wrong, makes him no different from the Inquisition.
** Some of the more sympathetic deities in the House of Faith include The Alpha and Omega, the God who hangs out with Bob, St. Martha and St. George. All four make it clear they ''do not'' approve of the Inquisition's actions and make sure to tell Amicia that the church excommunicated Vitalis for his actions, though they accept her decision to renounce her faith and won't try to force any belief on her. Jeanne d'Arc on the other hand is able to at least earn Amicia's trust, since she is an inspiring leader, and the former intends to help her whenever she needs it.
* Hugo, being a FriendToAllLivingThings, is shown to love all animal deities in the Pantheon, so he makes visits to the House of Pantheon/BeastsAndFauna. However, Twitch does not like Hugo at all, fearing he will fall victim to Hugo's power to control rats. Ratigan, despite claiming he's a big mouse and thus should be immune to the power, still fears being controlled by Hugo (not that he'll ever admit it).
** Speaking of rats, the siblings were surprised to meet Remy, a rat that capable of cooking. While Amicia is uncomfortable with the idea, Hugo is interested in such a concept. He's pretty much the only rat that Hugo does not control at all.
* All Fire Emblem deities are shown to like the siblings and welcome them with open arms (even if some are unnerved by Hugo's power), and offer to train them in the art of fighting to better protect themselves. The siblings appreciate the offer.
** Out of all villains from the ''Fire Emblem'' multiverse, Amicia and Hugo do not like the Black Knight the most, since he reminds them of Sir Nicholas.
* Amicia and Hugo de Rune befriend Sara Crewe, a [[PrincessInRags ragged princess]] that nevertheless showed kindness to her peers. Amicia also ends up befriending Ange, a former princess whose people turned on her out of prejudice for being a Norma. Ange sympathizes with the noble girl, but admits she's proud that she managed to grow as a person just like she did.
* The siblings hate Nurgle, since he represents the very thing everybody feared in their time period. Nurgle on the other hand, shows great interest in Hugo's power and hopes he can convert him to his side.
** Both are also sworn enemies with Peyrite, though unlike Nurgle, he actually respects their decision and won't try to change their mind.
* Amicia and Hugo met Wally once during their tour, and the latter came to befriend Hugo for having been sickly during their journeys. Both tend to hang out during their spare time, sharing stories of their adventures.

* Almost three centuries before [[Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire the Song of Ice And Fire]] and a new [[Series/GameOfThrones Game of Thrones]], Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives Visenya and Rhaenys had arrived. Marrying the former for duty and the latter for love, they were descendants of Valyrians that escaped the Doom of Valyria with at least three big, bad dragons on their side. They would conquer all but one of the Seven Kingdoms, which would eventually be incorporated through a marriage, and Aegon would rule with wisdom and tact in spite of his bloody conquest.
* Applies to the lot
** The sounds of three dragons roaring overhead made Daenerys Targaryen - who was holding court inside her temple - pause. She knows her children by sound. While they are dragons, they are not her 'children'. Upon exiting her temple, she discovers her dragons playing with ''three more dragons'' overhead. The three newcomers break away from Dany's dragons, and land in front of her. Perched on their backs are a single man and two women. In reverence, Dany takes a knee, and for good reason. They are of the Dragon, but in an entirely different league than her. Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives, Visenya and Rhaenys, has come to the Pantheon.
** Robert and Stannis were deeply conflicted over the arrival of the original Targaryen royals, as while they have a lot of bad blood with the dragons they are still descendants of the conqueror and ultimately everyone who sat on the Iron Throne. Pretty much the only thing that can stop the different nobles from squabbling amongst themselves, even if it's just for a short moment, is Aegon and his sister-wives raising their voices. As of now they have a larger concern than who sits on the Iron Throne, as Jon Snow and the Night's Watch have proven [[Series/HouseOfTheDragon Aegon's dream]] right; that winter is coming, and it has a name; the Night's King. On a lighter note the Conqueror prefers Stannis out of the Baratheon brothers, however admits that Robert is much better at making friends. [[spoiler:Also he's disturbed by Stannis [[OffingTheOffspring sacrificing his daughter]], [[AdaptationalVillainy though this was a TV exclusive event]] [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone he sorely regrets]].]]
*** Despite being one of the best Targaryen kings, Aegon's sons are pretty bad. Aenys was kind and friendly, but almost spineless and too willing to please. He had to rely on his half-brother Maegor's martial practices, and as he would prove to be a [[TheUsurper usurping]], [[AxCrazy violent]] [[TheCaligula SOB]]. [[EvenEvilCanBeLoved Despite this Aegon and Visenya still love him]], but they are both disappointed [[CompleteMonster he could be one of the most evil people in Westerosi]] history. Rhaenys just straight up hates him for how he undermined and hurt the family. Maegor took this as a lesson, but unfortunately that lesson [[DramaticallyMissingThePoint was that he wasn't being ENOUGH of a harsh bastard]].
*** The Conqueror has been the namesake of some solid kings like Aegon V the Unlikely (or "Egg" as Aemon knew him) but also some embarrassments like Aegon IV the Unworthy. The sibling team has no idea how such a hedonistic asshole came from the loins of the consummately professional Viserys II, only for the Unworthy to go "you better not be implying [[MamasBabyPapasMaybe what I know about Daeron the so-called Good]]". Aegon I rolled his eyes as while he wishes Daeron was more martially inclined like Daemon Blackfyre, he knows how to rule with intelligence and compassion when warranted. He'll stay out of any arguments on whether House Blackfyre is justified or not; it'd be pretty hypocritical to dismiss rule through right of conquest, after all.
*** Having witnessed the burgeoning psychopathy within their own son, Aegon and Visenya are more likely to pity the broken mind of Aerys II Targaryen despite their embarrassment and shame [[TheCaligula at all the things he's done]]. They feel that Rhaegar should've taken the initiative and forced Aerys to abdicate. That said, none of the founding Targaryens were all that proud of [[LoveRuinsTheRealm how he absconded with Lyanna]]; they aren't against the idea in principle, just how he went about it. Otherwise they think he would've made a fine king. Of the three, Rhaenys sees the most of her in him.
*** While Daenerys has no problem with Oberyn Martell, Aegon and his sister-wives do not trust him. Given how she had died whilst fighting the Dornish, that's a given. But when Oberyn tells them the story of Elia and her children, and of their violent deaths (including her namesake), it makes Rhaenys at least pause. [[FantasticRacism Aegon admits he has a prejudice against the Dorne]] for their guerilla tactics culminating in the death of Rhaenys, along with a note from the ruling Dornish prince who's contents are secret but distressing to Aegon. However he would make peace with Dorne in his lifetime, and they were surprised to see that it was a marriage between Targaryen and Martell that united them.
** Many at least initially saw Aegon and his sister-wives marriage as {{Squick}}, and indeed a lot of conflict with the Faith of the Seven was due to the incest taboo. In their defense [[DeliberateValuesDissonance it's a Valyrian norm]] and their bonds are genuine. It might be projection, but this is why they show compassion to Haruka and Sora Kasugano's twincestuous dynamic. Helping their case was [[SinisterMinister Frollo]] publicly condemning their relationship and descendants as an abomination. If there's anyone Aegon lets his psychopath son Maegor let loose against, it's him. Also, it's worth noting that despite all their incest the Valyrians [[EveryoneHasStandards never even considered]] ParentalIncest.
** If there is one thing that brings a smile to their face, it's dragons. And once they found out there was a House of Dragons, that was their first place they set shop. Aegon was quick to give deference and respect to Io, being the progenitor of all dragons, along with Bahamut for representing good-aligned dragons. That said, it's hard to say the three have a ''favorite'' dragon, or more accurately second favorite as one of the conditions for their ascension was that their canonical mounts must enter as heralds. Caim and Angelus were also a DragonRider pair after their own heart. Another duo of man and dragon the trio adores is Hiccup and Toothless. Through their friendship the dynamic between human and dragon was permanently improved.
** Their love of dragons mean they had a bad impression of the Dovahkiin and were thankful he wasn't present during his campaign of conquering Westeros, otherwise they would be short three dragons. Thankfully, the Dovahkiin attacks only evil dragons or those who rampage through town. There are many wicked dragons who refuse to pay any fealty to the trio; the Dark Dragon ''despises'' them as he believes dragons should serve no mere human and are humiliated in doing so..[[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist so they should submit to him instead]]. Acnologia [[BoomerangBigot despises dragons]], Grima and Maelfor [[OmnicidalManiac want to burn them all]] and Alduin is a terrible, hubristic DraconicAbomination who seeks to remove Targaryens from their seat and take control of their dragons. That said, he thinks Aegon and Visenya are good parents because he has a soft spot for their son Maegor for how he puts down rebellions and his enemies. [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame The two wondered where they went wrong with their son]].
** A number of Dragon-type Pokémon also are looked on really fondly by the trio. They really like the Tao trio as they are also a dragon trio [[LiteralSplitPersonality that was once one being]], who aided in the foundation of ancient Unova. Another favorite is Daenaerys' partner Hydreigon, perhaps the most literal any Pokémon gets to embodying the Targaryen sigil. It's also worth noting that while a lot of evil dragons don't get along with the trio, Smaug [[VillainRespect actually respects them]] even if the feeling isn't mutual. So long as they do not try to ride him or steal from him Smaug will consider the three [[YouAreACreditToYourRace quite impressive for human beings]], though he comments "your should not embarrass themselves".
** Grunbeld has a lot of respect for Aegon and Visenya. Being able to transform into a unique, crystalline dragon is something the Targaryen founders were impressed by along with his martial skill. Griffith was [[FauxAffablyEvil at least publicly]] impressed by Aegon and his sister-wives too, as he also sought to and succeeded to make a kingdom. The Conqueror recognizes Griffith's charisma and genuine skill at leadership, however he can sense [[HumanoidAbomination that there is something seriously]] ''[[SatanicArchetype wrong]]'' about him and can't shake of the feeling [[HiddenAgendaVillain whatever his endgame is]] isn't something he wants. Griffith only mused [[NotSoDifferentRemark that he feels at his heart, Aegon isn't fundamentally different]], [[WrittenByTheWinners but it all depends on who's writing the history books that divides them]].
** As previously suggested, [[Series/HouseOfTheDragon examination into the buildup and result of]] "the Dance of the Dragons" show Aegon had dreamed of the Long Night and this was at least part of his motive to conquer Westeros. Because of this, he has his attention set to thwarting the Night's King and his sister-wives plan to aid not just in that, but to thwart whatever beings threaten an EndlessWinter on the land. A similar being, Arthas Menethil, is someone who Aegon takes personal as an enemy [[TheEvilPrince because he can see some of himself and Maegor in the guy]]. And he definitely sees the Scourge as a fearsome analogue to the Wights.
** Having learned that obsidian and dragon-glass are the same thing, Rhaenys has asked for aid from the Smoking Mirror as he sees [[OmnicidalManiac the omnicidal]] as enemies too. However they know he's a tricky and underhanded Aztec god, so it's not really an alliance and more I "here's a favor" kind of situation. Tezcatlipoca also might just want to show off [[Pantheon/{{Reptiles}} to Quetzacoatl]] he got to them first. The three could really do with the firepower against the monstrous King Ghidorah, a three-headed psychopathic dragon who they fear as an evil, mightier incarnation of their sigil.
** It is theorized that were they actually historical, they would've more than deserved [[Franchise/FateSeries a place as Heroic Spirits]]. The three are interested in Earth's historical kings and conquerors, and the three have a liking to Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. Like Alexander, a key part in the good parts of their reign was learning and adapting to a foreign culture. Like Caesar, they gave pardon and clemency when necessary. And like both, they were excellent tacticians. Augustus is another friend of theirs, noting his effectiveness in both gaining and retaining power. On a lesser note they like how Zuko grew into his own and rose far beyond his father, whom they despise for symbolizing every bad thing about them and their bloodline with none of the positives.
* Applies to Aegon the Conqueror
** English deities have compared Aegon the Conqueror [[NoHistoricalFiguresWereHarmed to the Norman conqueror King William I]]. Both are known as "The Conqueror" as they are foreign-born conquerors of a nation that were effective administrators and ancestors to all future monarchs[[note]]well until Cersei and her {{Twincest}} for the former[[/note]]. He is by no means the only Targaryen to take influence off English monarchs, as [[Pantheon/{{Fathers}} King Henry VIII]] was an inspiration for Maegor and Aegon IV. [[EveryoneHasStandards Not something he's proud of]], and Aegon wasn't impressed by the Tudor king even if Henry respected him. Also, while they have little in common the Conqueror has respect for George Washington, one of the Founding Fathers of the USA. Namely, that he was also just as competent as president if not more so than he was a military commander. Washington was impressed by the Conqueror, though publicly doesn't bring him up much to avoid unwarranted whispers of "monarchy".
** Has a liking for Arthur Pendragon and his SpearCounterpart Artoria, the mythical great king. The three mused over leadership styles, and Aegon had to admit that Excalibur was a better sword than his Blackfyre...but he still insists his is cooler. Aegon also mused that they also had a troublesome relationship with their [[BrotherSisterIncest and their half-sister's]] child, [[Pantheon/FamilyDysfunctions Mordred]]. Though the original [[AdaptationalHeroism and especially the Fate]] incarnation see Maegor as a psychopath, Aegon still sees similarities between his BlackSheep and them; namely their [[TheUsurper usurper]] traits and belief they should be recognized as the heir. He is more sympathetic towards "[[Pantheon/FamilyDysfunctions Moedred]]" but refuses to take sides in their squabbles. [[DeliberateValuesDissonance Personally, Aegon doesn't get where the angst]] [[InbredAndEvil of their conception]] comes from.
** People have complained how uncomfortable the Iron Throne is, that it is an unwieldly monstrosity forged from swords via Balerion's dragonfire and has barbs causing nicks and cuts. Aegon's response? "That's the point; [[TheChainsOfCommanding a king should never sit easy]]". The Conqueror has no patience for [[RoyalBrat royal and]] [[SpoiledBrat spoiled brats]] like Prince Charmless or his descendant Aegon the Unworthy. And while he will accept being called a BenevolentDictator at least, he has no patience for tyrants like Frieza and Palpatine since they know to use force and fear, [[BadBoss but have no interest in giving clemency or just reward to their subjects]]. Both despots are more cynical in believing that Aegon is merely practicing PragmaticVillainy [[NotSoDifferentRemark and is as]] [[DespotismJustifiesTheMeans interested in power for its own sake as they are]]. The latter [[VillainRespect does at least commend his talent]], as Aegon begrudgingly admits [[TheChessmaster he's brilliant]].
** Though the King of Nehekhara is affable with all three Targaryens, Settra and Aegon hold a mutual respect that led to them trying to establish a strong relationship. Similarly, Aegon commends Settra for his implacable determination and for being able to unite a socially divided landscape into a singular kingdom like how Aegon did with dragons. The two often import trades and engineer weapons for each other out of goodwill. Further diplomatic relationships were brokered with Oda Nobunaga, who like him united various different factions and states of a nation through conquest. Another monarch Aegon is fond of is the King of Feredin, Alistair Theirin, [[HeroicBastard who reminds Aegon of his friend/half-brother Orys]]. He's [[TheGoodKing an effective monarch]], and Aegon was intrigued to learn he too [[DragonAncestry had dragon blood]]. [[spoiler:Alistair would prefer keeping the fact this is due to his ancestor drinking dragon blood on the down low.]]
* Applies to Visenya
** Visenya is said to have a dark and unforgiving side to her. Even her husband and fellow sister-wife said that she was "stern, serious and unforgiving." The House of Family has Visenya under scrutiny due to the actions of her son, [[TheCaligula Maegor the Cruel]], and the rumor that [[EvilUncle she poisoned her nephew Aenys in order to pave the way]] for her son to become king. She's decided to keep away from the more evil matriarch types, which critics have seen as deflecting attention from herself and fans think is evidence of her innocence. While Sophitia Alexandra is slightly wary around Visenya, she does respect Visenya's skills with a blade.
** Though leagues better than her son the fact she was supportive of his usurpation and reign have led some to argue she should be considered Lawful ''Evil''. However, others have argued it's a case of EvenEvilCanBeLoved and (at least publically) Visenya blames teaching him some lessons ''[[GoneHorriblyRight too well]]''. Critics believe that her opposition to Lady Tremaine and Ragyo Kiryuin is to dissuade critique she was a WickedStepmother to Aenys and an EvilMatriarch, though if said critique is accepted one could argue her opposition is a case of EvenEvilHasStandards. Ragyo is a '''disgustingly''' abusive mother which certainly can't be said for Visenya. And she finds Tremaine an insufferable social climber who treats her biological daughters with almost as much emotional uncaring as she does her step-daughter.
** It's also pointed out that there are rumors she is a sorceress who practiced in dark magic, with rumors that Maegor's conception involved this (possibly explaining why he could only conceive stillborn monstrosities). Both Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengerberg decide to look into the matter. And if the rumors were indeed true, then they will extend an invite to Visenya to join the Pantheon's Lodge of Sorceress. Tharja was intrigued by her as well, as was Jafar; admittedly the latter is more interested in her dark, power-hungry side. She takes no mind to him, especially the bad PR brought on by her son's actions.
** As she is usually seen with Dark Sister, it's clear that Visenya is the warrior woman of the two sisters. So much so that she spends her time honing her skills at the Hall of Pantheon/BladedWeapons. It's through her swordplay, that she became friends with Ciri Riannon. Both are warrior women and both are rulers in their own right...although Visenya had to admit that she, Rhaenys and Aegon got it easy with just conquering Westeros; Ciri is an Empress. Both Tyris Flare and Casca have also caught her eye in a good way for being strong and intelligent warrior women; the latter was also happy to learn that she and her siblings were fighting the good fight against [[ArchEnemy Griffith]].
* Applies to Rhaenys
** It was rumored that Rhaenys [[ReallyGetsAround messed around with other bed-mates]]. Rhaenys denied the allegations, but the rumors persist, much to her dismay. Some speculate Aegon's biggest secret was he was sterile, so allowed her [[ChosenConceptionPartner to find someone to "make an heir"]][[note]]might also explain the black magic conception theory about Maegor[[/note]]. [[GoodBadGirl Being Aphrodite]] she doesn't see a problem with this, and prefers her over Visenya because Aegon married her for love instead of duty. While the Conqueror is fine with her being a flirt, [[BerserkButton expect dragonfire if you spread]] [[MamasBabyPapasMaybe damning rumors about Aenys]]. Rhaenys does admit she wished she lived long enough to give Aenys more of a spine.
** As Rhaenys loves music and poetry, she's a patron of the House of Pantheon/TheatreAndSpectacle. William Shakespeare found himself another admirer, as Rhaenys finds herself drawn to his plays and poetry; it's this subject that has led her to bond with her descendant Rhaegar more so than Aegon or Visneya have. She's interested in the songs of the Miser Brothers partly because of their nature as embodiments of cold and hot weather..or ice and fire. And given the strange seasons of Westeros, it might be worthwhile to learn more about them. She's a big fan of the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} and has used her power to get front row seat to listen to the singers and performers...except Courtney Gears. She's a monster who wants to destroy all organic life, after all.
** She personally ''despises'' the Vogons, as not only are they uncaring bureaucrats who let an entire planet be destroyed because of said bureaucracy, but [[SuckinessIsPainful their poetry counts as psychological torture]]. On Rhaenys' shitlist is Terrence Fletcher and Zapp Brannigan. The latter tried to seduce her with a sexist and godawful ballad, along with already repulsing her because [[GeneralFailure his awful track record as a general]] offends her and her family. The former is awful to those under his study. On a much less serious note she's annoyed by Squidward insisting that he deserves a place in the court with his clarinet playing, which made her think an animal was dying.
** The most surprising thing about Rhaenys is that she is friends with Snow White. The wife of the Big Bad Wolf friends with the Blood of the Dragon. Snow's children love to hear Rhaenys's stories about dragons, and Rhaenys can honestly admit that Snow can handle herself in a fight.
** The least elitist of the trio, Rhaenys was genuinely concerned with the smallfolk and would help push reforms like banning the raiding of the Ironborn for women and limiting the number of blows a husband could strike to six. Her granddaughter Queen Alysanne would ban the right of the first night. It's for this reason she has a mostly love-hate relationship with Empress Nero. Despite her flaws at leadership she was always concerned first with the common folk, however Rhaenys [[GiftedlyBad considers her music and poetry unbearable]] and isn't fond of her arrogance. Of course, her critics find the idea of [[TheProudElite a Targaryen complaining about ego]] hypocritical.

* Aerys Targaryen, The Second of His Name, was the son and successor of King Jaehaerys II[[note]][[AgeLift though some might say Aegon V]] [[Series/GameOfThrones instead]][[/note]] and [[BrotherSisterIncest his sister]] Shaera. [[RoyalInbreeding Targaryens typically wed siblings or other relatives]], and as such it's often said the gods would flip a coin; either to produce a great king or induce Targaryen madness. Though initially showing promise, Aerys proved to be the latter as [[TheCaligula an utterly mad monarch]] [[PyroManiac who got off on burning people alive]] and who's cruelty would help lead to Robert's Rebellion. Now, the Mad King returns to reclaim the Iron Throne in the pantheon, as the god of RoyalInbreeding.
* Though a product and partaker of RoyalInbreeding with his sister-wife Rhaella, Aerys would rather not have the title. [[UnwantedSpouse He didn't want to marry his sister]], but his hand's wife Joanna Lannister. He demanded that he be made on of the Fierce Protectors of Royalty...however was quickly shut up when the Court of Gods both pointed out [[TheCaligula he is in no way deserving of that title]], but if he doesn't want the title he'll be stuck in the seven hells. The Mad King quickly shut himself up.
* He is thoroughly disliked by [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating almost every inhabitant from Westeros]], god or not. However, it's [[ItsPersonal the Starks, Baratheons and Lannisters]] who hate him the most; [[Pantheon/MannersOfDeath Ned Stark]] for burning his father and being part of Robert's Rebellion, Tywin Lannister for [[EvilFormerFriend their awful "friendship"]] and Robert Baratheon for starting the Rebellion in the first place. Their shared hatred of the Mad King is one of the only things to invoke an EnemyMine situation. Out of personal experience, he detests the rebel leader Jim Raynor.
* Was horrified to learn that the man who killed him, Jaime Lannister, was in the same house as him. He almost never stays in his own house, not wanting to feel his blade against his back again. From a safe distance, however, [[KickTheDog he'll take enormous relish]] at mocking both him, Tywin and Robert on how [[TheCaligula Joffrey turned out]].
** Upon hearing how Cersei [[MoralEventHorizon nuked the Great Sept with those who had vexed her inside]], Aerys had laughed his ass off, as it gives him another reason to ridicule Tywin.
* [[Fanon/ASongOfIceAndFire Some have speculated he might be Tyrion's biological father]], and/or Jaime and Cersei. After all, the Mad King did [[AbhorrentAdmirer blatanly lust after Tywin's wife Joanna]], and is said to have taken "certain liberties" with her; the Lannister family understandably fears he may have gone all the way and [[DroitDuSeigneur used the law of of first night]] on her. Tyrion would rather not think about this, and Tywin's response spoke volumes:
--> Tywin Lannister: "Even I don't hate Tyrion enough to use you to de-legitimize him."
* Was interested in learning what his surviving progeny was up to in the years after his mortal death. He was upset that his favorite son Viserys ended up being [[BigBadWannabe a failure of a re-claimant]], but is proud of Daenerys for her work in Essos, not to mention being the first Targaryen in over a century to hatch dragon eggs. Though Dany does care for her father, she'd rather stay her distance from the Mad King.
* Like Oberyn Martell, he's enraged at Gregor Clegane's crimes against his family. The two are working to get back at the Mountain, however the Red Viper has made it clear he thinks Aerys is despicable; he's only helping him in getting back at Gregor and Tywin, nothing more. It's rather telling that to counter the Mountain he's hired another PsychoForHire, Vile.
* Though Cersei desired his son Rhaegar Targaryen and Tywin wished to arrange the marriage, Aerys refused as "A king does not marry his heir to his servant's daughter." This serves to be yet another reason why the two ended up at each other's throats.
* Being the [[TheCaligula deranged monarch]] he is, Aerys is unpopular with most in his House. Caligula and Luca Blight, however, get along (Caligula in particular due to partaking in incest). The three have teamed up along with The Queen of Hearts in hopes of taking over their house, forming "The Quartet of Mad Monarchs" (to be made a Quintet if Joffrey ever manages to join them).
* Got on the bad side of the Ice King due to his association with fire and being too [[AxCrazy viciously crazy]] [[EveryoneHasStandards for his standards]].
* Has a complete obsession with fire, particularly [[GreekFire wildfire]]; his pyrophilia would go so far as to savagely rape his wife after getting aroused at the sight of men being burned alive (most believe [[ChildByRape Daenerys was conceived in this manner]]). The Mad King was positively giddy at learning of the House of Fire and Electricity, where he now spends 90% of his time in. You can usually see him fanboying over Ragnaros the Burning, and is fascinated by the potential of the Firebird. The only reason why he doesn't spend the remaining 10% there is that Johnny Blaze doesn't appreciate him, inflicting the [[DeathGlare Penance Stare]] on him; an experience he described as "too fiery for my tastes" before curling up in the fetal position from the psychic pain.
* The Mad King was happy to learn of the existence of the House of Dragons, though has not had any success in allying any of them. He did form a bond with the psychotic, incestuous Deathwing and Nefarian due to being a ''fiery'' dragon, while earning Alexstrasza's ire for trying to enslave her. There was also the time where he met Charizard, only to get mad that it wasn't a real dragon[[note]]no, the fact it can Mega Evolve into a Dragon-type wasn't enough[[/note]] [[DisproportionateRetribution and tried to spear Charizard]].
* To the dismay of the good-aligned pantheon members, he has hired The Pyro and Firefly as his head pyromancers. He also seeks to make Jean Grey his new queen due to her Phoenix Force, something that utterly disgusts her.
* Opposes the House of Water and Ice, by virtue of it putting out flames. He's shown particular contempt for Swampert and Barroth as [[DishingOutDirt their earth powers]] can put out his GreekFire. Aerys has also put a hit on dragon slayers in the pantheon.
* Zuko hates the Mad King, as his fire obsession and madness reminds him of his own [[AbusiveParents father]] Ozai.
* In his universe, white hair is a sign of Targaryen blood. As such, he believes that the other white-haired gods are members of his family and has tried to make alliances with them. He got along with a bunch of fellow [[WhiteHairBlackHeart white-haired crazies]] like Albedo Piazzollo and the incestuous Mana Ouma, Hansel and Gretel. In particular, he approves of Kuja's [[SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum final act of spite]]. The Kasugano twins despise him however, as he represents the negative aspects of both incest and [[WhiteHairBlackHeart white-haired people]].
* Since Lucius Malfoy looks like an older Viserys Targaryen and Draco Malfoy acts a lot like him, he treats the boy as his grandson. Draco doesn't mind, since [[DirtyCoward it gives him a place to hide]].
* Despite his appearance, [[YoungerThanTheyLook he was at his forties maximum at death]]. A lot of this comes from his paranoia; he almost never groomed himself because he feared he'd cut himself(which he's had personal experience from his Iron Throne), and almost never ate because he was worried of poisons. As such, he opposes the House of Bladed Weapons, and is seriously concerned of catching something from Typhus and the Plague Knight. He's against the House of Food because he believes they'll poison any food they'd give him.
* Once enjoyed some delicious honey from Beedrill. When he learnt of the Poison Bee's [[PoisonousPerson typing]], Aerys immediately suspected foul play and tried to [[KillItWithFire torch the Pokemon]]. Beedrill promptly Mega Evolved and jabbed at the Mad King, causing him [[BringMyBrownPants soil himself]] and run.
* Though he hopes never to return to the seven hells again, Aerys admits he'd at least take comfort at his gravest enemies for the civil war they're stuck in. He's ''very'' happy that Petyr Baelish exists to flame the fans of discord, all out of a final "fuck you" to Westeros. Littlefinger hasn't commented about if [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame this feels insulting or not]], but would certainly try to off such a unpredictable [[TheChessmaster chess piece]] as soon as possible.
* Has yet to comment on the popular theory that [[spoiler:Jon Snow may be the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark]], other than hoping if it's true more civil war and chaos will come from it.
* Also has a seat in the [[Pantheon/IncestuousDynamics Hall of Incestuous Dynamics]].

* Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: [[Pantheon/AntiHeroism Kiritsugu Emiya]]
* Jaime Lannister's path of redemption begins at the Pantheon, where he accepts the offer to ascend. Rather than to be sent to The Fallen, Cosmos had not only placed him on probation, as a condition of accepting his deified status, Jaime has joined the GUAE. Cosmos has made it clear that should Jaime finds himself in Cersei's bed should she ascend, then he will be sent to the House of the Fallen. When Jaime considers objecting, Cosmos reminds him that, "a Lannister always pays their debts." Jaime accepts the conditions…after mumbling under his breath.
* Upon ascending to the Pantheon, Jaime discovered that his sword hand has been restored to him, encased in a golden gauntlet.
--> '''Cosmos''': Your father was right about you. You have let your skills stagnate whilst in King's Landing. Now comes the time for you to prove your worth.
* Upon finding out that he has ascended to the Pantheon, Daenerys's first line of thought was to sic her dragons on the Kingslayer. But it was Tyrion who had convinced her not to do so. She instead demanded a meeting with Jaime, demanding why he betrayed his oath to her father. Jaime told her of what he had seen during his tenure under Aerys. He told Dany of Aerys' habits of burning men alive and raping his sister-wife, Queen Rhaella, as the men burned. Then he told her the truth about the [[GreekFire Wildfire Plot]], in which Aerys [[NukeEm wanted to burn King's Landing to the ground with wildfire]], and that he killed Aerys in order to save King's Landing, not on his father's orders.
-->'''Jaime:''' 'Let [Robert] rule over ashes and cooked meat,' he said. 'Burn it all.' He was still chanting that when I ran him through.
* While understanding the reasons why Jaime back-stabbed Aerys the Mad, the deified members of the House of Royalty watch him with a wary eye.
* Two of Jaime's allies are Aragorn and Odysseus. While Aragorn helps improve on Jaime's swordplay, Odysseus is training Jaime on how to use his mind more effectively. Jaime is slightly put off by how the wily demigod [[Creator/SeanBean looks so much]] like Ned Stark, but he accepts his help nonetheless.
* Surprisingly, Jaime is on good terms with Artoria Pendragon and Snow White (not the ''Disney'' one). "You remind me of Brienne," he quipped when he and Artoria had sparred. Jaime had lost the spar, but Artoria promised him a rematch. In regards to Snow, she reminds him of Elia Martell, graceful, but not as frail. He even admits that she is more than a match for him when it comes to swordplay.
* Mistaken Arthas Menethil for Rhaegar Targaryen, as they both looked alike. Out of all of the Targaryens, Jaime respected Rhaegar the most.
* Jaime is also privy to the fact that his father and his insane henchman are here in the Pantheon. After decades of verbal abuse towards himself, Cersei, and Tyrion, Jame steers clear of his father. When Tywin confronted his eldest son, demanding that he return to his side, Jaime rebuffs him.
--> ''Jaime'': [[IHaveNoSon After all, a son with no hand and no family]] [[IronicEcho needs all the help he can get.]]
* His main rivals when it comes to swordplay is the deified Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia, and his former pupil[=/=]surrogate daughter, Ciri Fiona Elen Riannon. While Geralt was accused of Kingslaying in the past, Jaime is the real deal. Fortunately, both Geralt and Ciri are sympathetic to the reason why Jaime had done what he had did.
* Another of Cosmos' conditions set is that Jaime spends time at the House of Bladed Weapons in order to experience fighting against different styles of swordplay. Before losing his sword hand, he would have given the deified swordmasters a run for their money. Now, [[CharacterDevelopment after being humbled]], he seeks to try and better himself.
* Upon having his abilities and hand restored to him, Jaime has been summoned as the servant Saber in the place of Artoria to participate in the 4th Holy Grail War under Kiritsugu Emiya. Although promising at first, once he realized the true nature of the war, well let's just say that the partnership between the two is marginally better than Arturia's . Though Jaime has yet to comment, he plays along due to Irisviel resembling the Targaryens and her innocent nature.
** Having learned that Jaime became a Saber in her place, she was proud of the fact he was worthy of becoming a Heroic Spirit and while punching Kiritsugu did leave her astounded, she didn’t blame him for realizing the true nature of Irisviel and of the Grail War. Nevertheless, she wants a rematch with him.
* When he learned that Rhaegar Targaryen ascended to the Pantheon, he went to Rhaegar's temple and begged him for forgiveness for his failure to protect Rhaegar's family. However, Rhaegar did not blame him for what happened, since he knew Jaime was not complicit with Tywin's machinations, but he forgave him nonetheless.
* Jaime was furious after learning that Cersei destroyed most of King's Landing with wildfire. This was the same plot that the Mad King set out to do, which meant she unleashed the disaster Jaime had prevented all those years ago, rendering his efforts to be for nothing. He has now done away with her and left her to her fate. Jaime has now gone on to notice other women in the Pantheon.
** With this recent turn of events, Cosmos was most pleased by this and has given Jaime her blessings and protection.
** While his incest with Cersei is cause for disgust and concern, he does (believe it or not) have his own share of admirers due to his growth and hidden depths.

* Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus was the last Roman emperor of the original Julio-Claudian dynasty. The grand-nephew and adopted son of Emperor Claudius, like his uncle Caligula he was associated with tyranny and extravagance. He was ThePerformerKing, loving the stage and playing music. Many saw this as him undermining the dignity and authority of the office. Eventually he was forced to flee from a rebellion by the Gaulish governor, with help by his eventual successor Galba. Upon learning he had been tried in his absence he committed suicide rather than be forced to face the music.
** Though hated by the aristocracy, Nero was popular among the plebian masses [[WrittenByTheWinners until vilified decades after his death]]. Some people claimed to be Nero reborn, and his old friend Otho [[ReplacementGoldfish invoked his name]] during his brief reign as emperor during the civil war or Year of Four Emperors.
* Should not be confused with the female Nero in the pantheon, as he is quick to point out he's the historically accurate version. Not that he has anything against her, as she regards his Heroic Spirit self as the sister he never had. Probably feels this way [[HistoricalHeroUpgrade because she's a rather generous interpretation of him]]. He is less sure what to think about his uncle Caligula, though. [[BerserkButton Don't bring up the incest rumors around him]].
* Much like the Heroic Spirit, Emperor Nero is convinced he is musically and theatrically talented. The problem with that is being emperor, [[LetTheBullyWin it's hard to give an unbiased review]] so whether he's actually talented, GiftedlyBad or somewhere in between is hard to tell. Granted, he is rather vain so he may not exactly care. He seems to like Trixie and Gaston for how show-offy there are.
* Happy to throw a party and spectacle, and part of him genuinely wants to prove his skill in the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}}. His talents include showing off in gladiator games, and as such finds Gleeman Vox's games to be entertaining. Ben-Hur doesn't like this and his tyranny during 1st century Rome.
* He's quite a fan of BRIAN BLESSED and has given him his blessing to parody and satirize him, [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness which is very telling on how much he enjoyed him]]. He seems to be sympathetic to how Krusty the Clown has become a jaded performer.
* Rhaegar Targaryen considers him to be his EvilCounterpart as they have parental issues, are moody and have a fondness for music, but Nero is more in the line [[TheCaligula of his deranged father Aerys]] than he is. Nero himself seems to compare himself to James Cameron, being an egotistical director while he is an egotistical actor-emperor. Cameron isn't exactly happy with the comparison.
* He has undergone a HistoricalVillainUpgrade. While not a pleasant man by most metrics, by the upper class, [[WrittenByTheWinners and they are the ones writing history]]. He takes personal offense to the idea that he started the fire of Rome and played his fiddle WhileRomeBurns, he wasn't there at the time and even gave good fire relief for the poor. The Doctor supposedly gave him the idea accidentally in his original incarnation, however Nero insists that it was taken out of context. The Doctor has promised not to say anything more about it so long as Nero doesn't try to implicate him.
* The other big reason why he's seen as a historical villain is his persecution of Christians, seeing them as a scapegoat for the Fire of Rome. Back then they were a small cult, now they're one of the biggest religions. [[OhCrap Nero certainly felt egg on his face]]. Naturally, Christian deities don't like him. So much did they not like him that Nero might be the inspiration for [[Literature/TheBible the Beast of Revelation]], aka TheAntiChrist. The NumberOfTheBeast is even a numerology-based against him, 666 converting to "Nero Caesar." The House of Pantheon/{{Demons}} were dissapointed to learn he had no demonic traits in him, however. Personally, he considers Double to be the embodiment of all the negative stigma he has been told about the Christians and what he tried to libel them with.
* Has some serious mommy issues, which add to his poor reputation. His mother Agrippina the Younger sought to effectively rule through him, [[MotherMakesYouKing and made him king]] through a marriage to Claudius. [[BlackWidow She may have poisoned him]], and while Nero was content to let her do her own thing eventually a power struggle broke out and he would have her assassinated. Having committed {{Matricide}} he is ''not'' popular with the House of Pantheon/{{Mothers}}, though he has tried to defended his actions by saying "mother [[OutlivingOnesOffspring would've tried the same thing]] if I threatened her power. [[BigScrewedUpFamily Family values don't exist]] [[RoyallyScrewedUp in my family]], [[FreudianExcuse and it played a big part in who I was]]".
* His mother was likely abusive, and there are some rumors [[VillainousIncest it may have been incestuous]]. As such, he is absolutely disgusted by Ragyo Kiryuin, and feels somewhat sorry for Satsuki Kiryuin having to grow up with her(she doesn't care for his opinion). He is no fan of Cersei Lannister, as while [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes she cares for her kids]] she is the exact kind of scheming, controlling matriarch his mother was. Saying Agrippina was also incestuous [[BrotherSisterIncest with Caligula]] [[BerserkButton will cause Nero to devolve into complete rage]].
* Has taken both men and women as lovers, [[DepravedBisexual and there are some perverted stories about that]]. It's said that he took to a slave who resembled his dead wife Poppaea Sabina, and castrated him [[ReplacementGoldfish to serve as his "wife"]]. Sabina? He apparently killed in a fit of rage, though this might be something historians invented. [[RemarriedToTheMistress She used to be his mistress]]. Needless to say the House of Pantheon/LoveAndAffection isn't fond of him. And like any reasonable Roman Emperor, he is no fan of the House of Pantheon/BetrayalAndTreachery.
* Was more of a tyrant out of indifference than cruelty, though there are some in the pantheon who wish to change that. Chief of which is Prime Minister Honest. Nero gets along with Honest as he's a good caterer and know a thing or two about food, though doesn't consider him that talented. Honest doesn't care so long as he can get his hooks into another empire.
* Jaime Lannister sees him as almost as unpleasant as Aerys, and Nero doesn't like that a kingslayer is so close to him in the pantheon. Despite this, he doesn't have any issue drinking with his brother Tyrion. Tyrion has tried to give him some advice, as unlike his uncle Caligula he doesn't consider Nero completely incorrigible. Zuko doesn't share that sentiment, though Nero does have some mild sympathy for having to put up with Ozai given he had to put up with Agrippina the Younger.

* Roose Bolton is the lord of the Dreadfort, and current patriarch of House Bolton. Cold and cunning, he comes off as a [[TheStoic stoic]] and pragmatic lord with [[UncannyValley a certain "inhuman" aura]]. In truth, this is an act; he's a [[{{Sadist}} sadistic]] [[TheSociopath sociopath]] who uses pragmatism [[MaskOfSanity to seem normal]]. An EvilOverlord of the North, he now seeks to retain his control through the Trope Pantheon.
* The Boltons and Starks have been rivals for thousands of years, but by his generation have become vassals under them. Roose served them for a while, but seeing an advantage in the War of Five Kings teamed up with [[DirtyOldMan Walder]] [[OpportunisticBastard Frey]] [[TheStarscream to betray them]] [[NastyParty at the Red Wedding]]. He is a bit surprised they didn't see it coming, [[ObviouslyEvil given Bolton traditions have issues with subtlety]].
* Though he tries to keep it under wraps, he still practices the old Bolton tradition of [[FlayingAlive flaying]]. As far as we know it's for [[TheDreaded scaring the shit out his enemies]], but some speculate [[MaybeMagicMaybeMundane there's something magical in purpose]] [[GenuineHumanHide by wearing them]]. Possibly some form of disguise. This might explain why he's interested in Leatherface.
* He is infamous for his practice of the right of first night (or in other terms prima nocta or the lord's right), a Northern tradition thought banned by [[TheGoodKing King Jaehaerys the First]]. Essentially, the lord or king would be permitted to bed a peasant during the night of marriage. Roose chose to rape a miller's wife for being married outside of his knowledge, which due to the Starks looking down on this he's tried to hide. He's defended this by stating that the other houses in the North practice it. And while regarded villainous act, some peasants ''approved'' of said right. [[Literature/ArchmaesterGyldaynsHistories The people of Dragonstone]] revered the Valyrians and such were happy for the "dragonseeds" produced. He likes to remind the heroic members of the pantheon about it, but very few buy this justification.
* One of the consequences of this was the form of [[BastardBastard a complete bastard]], Ramsay Snow. An AxCrazy maniac, he suspects Ramsay [[CainAndAbel poisoned his trueborn son]] and after having to take him as heir has caused [[MoralEventHorizon atrocity after atrocity]]. He couldn't care less about how awful he is, but [[StupidEvil he's completely unsubtle about it]] and [[PragmaticVillainy it hurts PR]]. [[spoiler:And depending on [[Series/GameOfThrones who you ask]], got him killed]].
* He isn't popular with the House of Love, which isn't that surprising; [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil even most villainous tenants consider his conception of Ramsay abysmal]]. There are also some nasty rumors of [[TheBluebeard what happened to his previous wives]]. In his defense, Roose is genuinely fond of his current wife Walda Frey. Not that he's capable [[LackOfEmpathy of genuine compassion]], but the two seem pretty friendly and oddly well adjusted. If records are to go by, he also [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes genuinely cared for Domeric]]. In spite of his evil, [[EvenEvilHasStandards he'd never be a kinslayer]] and disapproves of those who would in the House of Family. Said house doesn't trust him though.
* Generally trying to remain low-key when it comes to the Pantheon; he has enough enemies to deal with at home and PR is always essential. Roose has also declined leadership with either the GUAL or GUAE for now; YHVH's gotten too much negative PR at the moment, and he finds Melkor "[[ObviouslyEvil one of few even more unsubtle than my bastard]]".
* He has made himself an enemy with the good-aligned House of Justice members, due to the Red Wedding. Sure, he ''technically'' didn't break [[SacredHospitality guest right]] since he was a guest himself, but from where it counts he certainly did. Zeus, being a guardian of guest right, plans to make the Leech Lord pay for his crimes. Due to her association with parties, Pinkie Pie was appalled by his part in the Red Wedding. Yuri Lowell also isn't going to let him use [[LawfulEvil law]] to get away with this. Roose is currently trying to argue his case with the more amoral figures there, such as Manfred Von Karma.
* Impressed with Arvis' CavalryBetrayal, and has allied with him out of convenience. Arvis has accepted this, though Roose [[EvenEvilHasStandards creeps him out big time]].
* [[Pantheon/VillainousAttitude Johnny Marcone]] may be the God of PragmaticVillainy, but Roose masters in it as well. Asides from kinslaying there is nothing he's above, but will act otherwise. For instance, he disapproved of his son's attempt to flay a noblewoman and wear her skin because he'd lose a valuable bargaining chip and human leather is weak. He comes off as rather withdrawn and introverted in the pantheon simply because he's trying to be more careful, and a lot of gods [[ItWasHisSled know he's bad news]]. Impressed at Gustavo Fring and Sektor's ability to stay calm and collected. Hopes to make deals with them.
* Part of why he does cruel things like flaying and the right of first night is because he's a traditionalist, feeling it necessary to keep the old ways and being annoyed by the Starks for outlawing these traditions. That, and he's just a cruel, callous man. The line between the two gets pretty blurry, and many gods are trying to unblur that line.
* [[StraightEdgeEvil Not one for boozing or whoring]], he prefers not to cloud his mind, and only raped the miller's wife on principle rather than sexual desire. He's also somewhat of a health nut, leeching himself to purify his blood and eats hippocras and prunes to keep him regular. It's said that whenever he does something majorly villainous and/or drops the stoic act, [[MemeticMutation the Roose is loose]]. He doesn't feel like dignifying this with a response.
* Is rumored to be [[OurVampiresAreDifferent some sort of vampire]]; [[HalfHumanHybrid a human-Other offspring]] that flays people to steal their identity to hide his immortality. Roose is neither confirming nor denying the "Bolt-On" conspiracy, but it may be more than coincidence that he likes to hang out with Dracula and Jedah Dohma. [[ArsonMurderAndAdmiration If he's pure human, it says a lot that they like him]]. He's impressed by Castor Troy's ability to [[TearOffYourFace remove faces and swap them over]]. Castor is working for him to know more about the art of skinning and making better disguises.
* [[spoiler:Having come up with an acute case of patricidal stabbing, it seems he may not be a vampire after all. Of course vampires in is world may be vulnerable to being jabbed in the ribs like any human. Any patience for Ramsay was lost due to killing him, Walda, and his newborn, and Roose has sworn a FateWorseThanDeath on Ramsay if he ever is deified for destroying House Bolton.]]
* [[Fanfic/AndTheGiantAwoke In an alternate universe where Tyrion instead of Oberyn battled the Mountain]], he would die at the hands of Stannis' wife. Roose is keeping his eyes on Tyrion for this, and especially Stannis if he ever enters the Trope Pantheon.
* Claims that Stannis was defeated by Ramsay, though it is uncertain [[DeathByAdaptation how true this is in the books]], and its rumored the Boltons may already be extinct there.
* When Roose found out about the White Walkers, meaning his treachery against the North weakened it before an even bigger threat, he found it mildly amusing.

* In the 1930s, a young blonde girl met a red-haired witch. The two quickly struck a strong friendship, with the witch grateful that someone was finally unafraid of her powers and status as a witch. What's more, this girl had risked her own life to save the witch from an angry mob, even getting severely injured in the abdomen after getting struck by a pitchfork. It was thanks to this that the witch swore an undying loyalty to this girl in the event they ever met once more...
* The current Archduchess of the small Alpine nation of the Principality of Eylstadt, Ortfine Fredericka von Eylstadt succeeded her father, Archduke Rudolf von Eylstadt, at a relatively young age, and when her beloved country was being invaded by it's hostile neighbor, the much larger and more advanced Germanian Empire. Even before she became Archduchess, she was already doing anything and everything she could to save her beloved country, by acting as her father's the Archduke's representative in foreign diplomatic meetings. Just prior to and during the Germanian Empire's invasion of Eylstadt, Ortfine had attempted to contact a Britannian diplomat, Lord Redford, in an attempt to enter an alliance with the Allied Forces through ArrangedMarriage with a Britannian prince. Unfortunately for her, the Germanian Empire had caught wind of Eylstadt's plans, and promptly sent troops to capture her alive. Even worse, the Empire launched its invasion while Fine herself was still in Westria, the Archduke had been bedridden from severe illness, and the Eylstadt military was caught unprepared.
* Fortunately for Fine, she would soon find a savior for both herself and her country. As she was being transported, a capsule carrying a mysterious girl, one she had seen prior in Westria during the Germanians' first attempt at capturing her, was with her on the same flight. Thanks to a scuffle that Fine started between herself and a Germanian Army officer, she was able to set Izetta, the girl in question, free from her imprisonment, which in turn, allowed Fine to be freed when Izetta blew the transport plane up, albeit at the cost of getting wounded in the abdomen from a stray shot. Following their escape and fight against a flight of Germanian fighters, Izetta was able to get Fine some much-needed medical treatment with the help of the Eylstadt Army. It was thanks to this meeting that Izetta, with Fine's reluctant (at first) approval, that she saved both Eylstadt and it's Army from ruin, when she intervened in the Battle of Cronenburg, destroyed dozens of Stuka Dive bombers and Panzers, and almost singlehandedly helped to turn the tide of battle in Eylstadt's favor. Grateful for her rescue of her country, Fine brought Izetta with her back to the Eylstadt Royal Palace in Landsbruck, the nation's capital.
* With her father's death to a chronic illness, Fine, despite her young age, took up his mantle and succeeded him as the Archduchess, and rightful leader of, Eylstadt. With her official coronation, she also decided to show Izetta and her powers to the world, making the latter Eylstadt's PropagandaHero under the moniker "The SecondComing of the White Witch". Under Fine's strong leadership and with Izetta's magical powers aiding them, the Eylstadt Army was able to defeat several more Germanian attempts at invading Eylstadt, culimating in the two of them heading to Britannia and helping them eliminate the Germanian aircraft carrier ''Drachenfels''.
* However, despite these strings of successes against the Germanian Empire, Fine would be put through to her ultimate test yet. As it turned out, despite their string of defeats, the Germanians still had one trick up their sleeve: [[StupidJetpackHitler their more advanced research and technology]]. And it is with this trump card of theirs that they come up with a few solutions to deal with both Izetta and Eylstadt. The first is Sophie, the original White Witch of Eylstadt, brought BackFromTheDead via cloning and BloodMagic. The second was weaponry derived from crystallized magical energy, or Hexenium, which in this case was a type of cruise missile that used the magical energy as both a fuel source and the main component of its warhead. During the Germanian Empire's 3rd attempt to invade Eylstadt, Sophie [[CurbStompBattle easily defeated Izetta in battle]], badly wounding the latter, and then sicced the new wonderweapons onto Cronenburg and Landsbruck, allowing the latter city to fall easily to the Germanian Forces after just two hours of fighting. Fine and the rest of the Eylstadt High Command managed to flee the Royal Palace just before it was overrun by Germanian Forces, and ended up hiding in the mountainous countryside of Eylstadt. Unfortunately for her, the Germanians, specfically [[StateSec the SS]], were out to capture here, and nearly would have had Izetta not received and used her half of the Magic Stone.
* With the capture of Lt. Col. Berkman, it was revealed to Fine, Izetta, and the rest of the surviving Eylstadt government about the Germanian's endgame plans: to deploy a Hexenium-powered city-busting missile onto Landsbruck [[MakeAnExampleOfThem as a show of force to the Allies]], which would hopefully force them into surrendering on threat of this happenening to their own cities as well. This ultimatum would be delivered to Allied representatives during a meeting in Westria, where they would be shown the weapon in question. With nothing left to lose and Europe's and the world's safety at stake, Fine decided to personally attend the meeting in Westria in one last attempt to get the Allies to help Eylstadt despite the risk of capture by Germanian troops, while Izetta decided to take out both Sophie and the Germanian's new wonderweapons by her lonesome. Ultimately, both of them were successful, with Fine finally getting the United States of Atlanta and the other Allies to help Eylstadt, and Izetta taking out the Germanians' remaining [=WMDs=] and their Hexenium reserves by [[TheMagicGoesAway draining Europe's and the world's leylines of magical energy]]. Fine would end her story with Eylstadt liberated and in peace for the time being, and would continue fighting for a peaceful Europe for as long as humanly possible. Her final appearance would be her visiting Izetta, who was now wheelchair-bound thanks to the strain of the Magic Stone.
* Back in the Pantheon, arrangements had been made by a now-superpowered Izetta and her new American and British allies to ascend Archduchess Fine. Unbeknownst to all of them, Fine herself had somehow been summoned into the Pantheon already, some time after [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings Eylstadt itself]] ascended on Berkman's and HYDRA's promise to Sophie, and after Izetta received a dose of [[SuperSerum magic serum]] from Dr. Erskine and Dr. Stephen Strange. While seemingly random, Fine's ascension appears to have been the result of Izetta's desire to see her oldest friend again, the presence of Eylstadt in the Pantheon, and Sophie's own wishes to see the last of the Eylstadt's royal family slain. Whatever the case, Fine had ascended alone inside of the ruins of the Eylstadt Royal Palace. Pretty soon, a crowd of Eylstadt Army soldiers gathered around her, grateful for her return, and happy that they now had their leader back to guide the country. Not long afterward, Izetta, having heard the commotion inside of the palace, immediately went to investigate, and soon cried TearsOfJoy at the sight of the Archduchess, with Ortfine herself doing the same. Sure enough, the crowd around the two cheered, with their two biggest [[HopeBringer bringers of hope]] now reunited.
* Pretty soon, Fine, with help from both the Allies and her own people, is officially reinstated as Eylstadt's rightful leader, with the monarchy restored following the eviction of Nazi and HYDRA forces from Landsbruck. Following her re-coronation, she's then briefed by her new American and British allies. Fine is surprised, as, unlike the representatives of the United States of Atlanta in her universe, one of the Presidents of the United States of America, none other than Franklin D. Roosevelt, is not only trusting of her and Izetta from the get-go, but immediately provided her country with military aid without second thought.
* It's through President Roosevelt, as well as various American officers such as Captain Miller, Major Winters, and Lt. Powell, that Fine is briefed about her country's, Izetta's, as well as her own, current situation, as well as about the Pantheon itself. Fine is...overwhelmed, to say the least. Running a backwards rural country against a numerically and technologically superior enemy is one thing, but ruling Eylstadt in a place full of even more ambitious and dangerous enemies out to get not only her country but also her own head, was another. Roosevelt and the other Americans assure Fine that they will help her and Eylstadt all the way, through military and economic aid.
* Meanwhile, in War-Torn Berlin, HYDRA's leader Johann Schmidt gets word of Ortfine's ascension through several HYDRA agents based within Eylstadt. Confirmation of her appearance in the Pantheon appears not long afterward, when Eylstadt radio broadcasts, newspapers, and pamplets officially announce the news, with several German soldiers either intercepting or bringing in the propaganda to Schmidt personally. With this information, he summons Lt. Col. Berkman and Sophie to a meeting in Berlin, both of them being the two individuals with the most knowledge on Fine and Izetta, respectively. Angry at their failures following the loss of Landsbruck and Cronenberg as well as the destruction of months worth of Hexenium reserves, he tasks the both of them with finding a way to capture the Archduchess and bring her to him personally. Sophie initially protests, but then realizes the reason for Schmidt's order, in that simply having Fine assassinated would make her an InspirationalMartyr to both the Eylstadt and Allied causes. With this, she agrees to Schmidt's order, and begins coordinating with Berkman in finding a way to lure the Archduchess, and hopefully, Eylstadt's witch, into a trap.
* Berkman's plan to capture Fine, after a while of planning and studying of their target, involved the use of several [[TheMole Nazi and HYDRA spies]] [[DressingAsTheEnemy dressed as Eylstadt Army soldiers]] ambushing the Archduchess at a public event. In the event that the White Witch of Eylstadt would intervene, Sophie would fight Izetta once more to a standstill, distracting her opponent long enough for the HYDRA spies to eliminate Fine's bodyguards and sentries protecting her. For this, Sophie would be assisted by her friend Tanya von Degurechaff, knowing that Izetta has already outmatched her in terms of skills at least once. In case that the first group of spies was either killed or forced into a retreat, a second group of spies disguised as Eylstadt soldiers led by Berkman himself would continue the mission, and snatch the Archduchess during the lull following the first attempt, catching their enemies off guard and snatching their prize right under their enemies' noses, with no opposition.
* And so, the kidnapping attempt on the Archduchess was ultimately successful, with the backup plan being the one executed by Berkman and his men. It was only minutes after the Archduchess was taken did Izetta realize that Sophie and Tanya pulled off the same diversionary tactics she herself pulled on Sophie only months prior. Immediately retreating, she notifed her new allies of the events that transpired, with President Roosevelt assuring the witch that they're working on a plan to free the Archduchess from the Nazis' and HYDRA's grasp, and soon. Having seen the war crimes the Nazis committed in and around Landsbruck and Cronenberg, the Allies knew they didn't have long before the Archduchess would be [[MakeAnExampleOfThem made an example of by Schmidt and his associates]]. As it turns out, the Allies weren't off the mark, as Schmidt, through General Bohm, planned to eventually have the Archduchess handed over to his Italian allies known as The Four Libertines, already infamous even before their ascension for having had dozens of teenage boys and girls tortured and killed brutally.
* Upon regaining consciousness following her capture, Fine is greeted by none other than Lt. Col. Berkman, with the former initially thinking that he's there to help her escape. This is immediately proven wrong when the latter tells her he's working under a new employer now that can help satisfy his curiosity and personal agendas: none other than HYDRA. Even worse is when Sophie, now known as "HYDRA's New Champion", appears in the same room as Berkman, and makes a DeathGlare at the captive Archduchess. She tells the Archduchess straight to the point that killing her then and there would be too merciful for someone in her position, and wants her to suffer a slow and painful death much like her own past self.
* When finally brought before Johann Schmidt, Fine, unsurprisingly, remains defiant and steadfast, despite being surrounded by half a dozen heavily-armed men, a super soldier and leader of a major Nazi organization, and a witch that could kill her with a single touch. When asked if she'll surrender Eylstadt to his forces on threat of the capital being bombed into submission once more, Fine, unsurprisingly, refuses, even when Schmidt points a gun at her head. Having pretty much confirmed that the Archduchess won't submit, Schmidt orders her to be handed over to General Bohm, so that she would suffer a slow and painful death by ColdBloodedTorture from their Italian allies.
* Fortunately for the Archduchess, rescue was right around the corner. Having infiltrated War-Torn Berlin once more, Lt. Mike Powell, disguised as an SS officer, manages to intercept the convoy carrying Ortfine. Together with Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Lt. Karl Fairburne, and B.J. Blaskowicz, they manage to kill the German soldiers guarding Fine's convoy, commandeer the transport truck carrying the Archduchess, and drive her to an undisclosed location, where Izetta is waiting to fly her back to Landsbruck. Just prior to this, Sophie's attention was diverted when another Hexenium storage facility was attacked by Dog and Charlie Companies of the 2nd Ranger Battalion, with assistance from The Tenno. In contrast to both Schmidt and Sophie, [[VillainousBreakdown who don't take Fine's escape very well]], Berkman has nothing but [[WorthyOpponent respect for his old enemies]], promising that he, and by extension, HYDRA, will get their chance of revenge against them soon...
* The rescue of Archduchess Fine proves to be a huge propaganda and morale victory for both Eylstadt and the Allies, and pretty much solidifies the Duchy's status as an Allied nation. Pretty soon, Eylstadt's Army and Air Force is reequipped with more modern weapons and vehicles, courtesy of both the United States and United Kingdom. American and British military advisors soon begin training Eylstadt soldiers and airmen in their tried and tested tactics, and on how to operate their brand-new equipment. With Eylstadt's foreseeable future being very bright, Fine, with Izetta's help, decides to explore the rest of the Pantheon, in order to continue her promise to her friend of maintaining peace. What she ultimately comes across is a mix of good and bad, ally and enemy alike. In terms of allies, it's a diverse lot, to say the least. Among the most notable allies Fine makes include Lelouch vi Britannia, Relena Darlian, Lacus Clyne, and Padme Amidala. Like her, they are all either royalty or high-class members of society known for their stances against tyrannical regimes, and often being TheFace of various [[LaResistance rebel]] groups fighting said regimes. Fine hopes to acquire more diplomatic ties and alliances through these fellow figures she meets, and ultimately succeeds in getting their support, more or less. Consequently, because of this, her enemies are pretty much the enemies of her new friends, with many being evil members of royalty particularly those who run the very tyrannical regimes she opposes vehemently, with others being groups interested in exploiting Hexenium in the Pantheon similar to the Germanian Empire. Some of the most notable names include Sheev Palpatine, Count Dooku, the Corpus, and the Grineer. Needless to say, Fine ends up becoming a priority target for many of them, with Izetta and various other deities having their work cut out for them...
* Eylstadt's troubles did not end with German invaders and their assorted allies. The country itself happened to be one of many places in which the Reverberation Ensemble's used to build back their strength prior to ascending, assimilating anyone unfortunate to come across them for their own ends. German, Allies, Elystadt, Resistance, it didn't matter. It's for that reason they've earned the Archduchess' disgust and while many of the Ensemble ignored her, Jae-heon stood out as someone who didn't. He simply voiced his vexation at having to "materials" during a war while also hinting at his wish to turn royalty such as Fine herself into puppets due to his burning hatred for the rich class. While the Ensemble has moved out of Eylstadt (aside from Elena potentially coming back for her blood fix), the syndicate has troubled Fine, Izetta, and their allies due to their status as a wild card.
''"No. I'm sure another war will happen somewhere, someday. The history of humanity's war may never end. But that doesn't mean I intend to stop. I promised, after all, to make a world where everyone could choose their own tomorrow."''
