* ''Series/The100'' is not overly concerned with romance; most potential romances either never get off the ground or crash and burn shortly after they're introduced. The notable exception is Lincoln and Octavia, who hook up halfway through Season 1, and, while occasionally seperated by circumstances, always find their way back together and never waver in their devotion to each other.
* Eric and Donna in ''Series/That70sShow''. Fez and Jackie suddenly become this in the final season, much to the disgust of both Hyde/Jackie and Kelso/Jackie shippers.
* Superboy and Lana in ''Series/TheAdventuresOfSuperboy''.
* Vaughn and Sydney in ''Series/{{Alias}}''.
* The American soap ''Series/AsTheWorldTurns'' has quite a few "{{super couple}}s", with a clear indication that they are meant to be together. One such super couple is Luke and Noah. Unlike their heterosexual counterparts, they have actually no other possible characters to hook up with, their story lines consisting instead of breaking up and making up every few months. In a soap, you can tell a couple is "truly official" after they make up for the third time. However, with the introduction of Dr. Reid Oliver, Luke has a viable second love interest, and is currently wanting Reid to fight for him. Reid did, and Luke and Reid became the official couple with Noah barely seen.
* John Sheridan and Ambassador Delenn of ''Series/BabylonFive'', who, as mentioned elsewhere, walked through fire for their love and lasted the entire run of the show. (Sheridan doesn't appear until season two, although a later-but-earlier TV movie indicates they met prior to the series.)
* ''Series/BattlestarGalactica2003'' had President Laura Roslin and Admiral William Adama, who, in contrast to the other couples on the show, took four years to finally acknowledge their feelings openly (they got off to a bit of a rocky start, what with the whole 'interferring in the military/coup d'etat' thing), although they first kissed in Season 2 when Roslin promoted Adama to Admiral.
-->'''Roslin:''' I love you.
-->'''Adama:''' 'Bout time.
--->-- ''The Hub'', 4x9
* Brenda and Dylan were the main official couple of ''Series/BeverlyHills90210'' in the early seasons, but the pairing of Dylan and Kelly became so popular at the time that he ended up with her instead. Of course now, most fans wished he ended up with Brenda instead just as they wished Kelly ended up with Brandon. Also, David and Donna ultimately end up with each other in the end.
* ''Series/{{Bones}}'':
** Agent Booth and Dr. Brennan.
** Also Jack Hodgins and Angela Montanegro.
** There was also Sweets and Daisy for a while. Daisy/Sweets was brought back at the beginning of the 2014/15 season, complete with [[spoiler:a late term pregnancy for Daisy from secretly still hooking up with Sweets]], just in time for [[spoiler:Sweets to die]].
** Cam and Arastoo
* Cory and Topanga in ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld''.
* In ''Series/BrooklynNineNine'', Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago. [[spoiler: Jake proposes to Amy in Halloween and they get married in the season finale.]] Notably, they never breakup or have any major problems throught the series.
* ''Franchise/{{Buffyverse}}'':
** For seasons two and three it was Buffy and Angel, for seasons four and five it was Buffy and Riley and for seasons six and seven it was Buffy and Spike.
** For seasons two-four it was Willow and Oz, for seasons four-six it was Willow and Tara and for season seven, it was Willow and Kennedy.
** For seasons two-three it was Xander and Cordelia and for the rest of the series it was Xander and Anya.
** Rupert Giles and Jenny Calendar.
** Angel and Darla, then Angel and Cordelia.
** Spike and Drusilla, then Spike and Harmony.
** Fred and Gunn, then Fred and Wesley.
* Michael and Fiona in ''Series/BurnNotice''.
* ''Series/CallTheMidwife'' has had several
** Chummy and Peter Noakes.
** Dr Turner and Sister Bernadette.
** Trixie and Tom Hereward in series 3.
** Patsy and Delia.
** Later, Barbara and Tom; [[spoiler:they get married in the final episode of series 6]].
* Richard Castle and Detective Kate Beckett from ''Series/{{Castle|2009}}''.
* ''Series/{{Charmed|1998}}'':
** Piper and Leo.
** There was also Prue and Andy, until Andy was killed off at the end of season 1. It is rumored that they may have reunited in the afterlife after Prue died two years later.
** Phoebe and Cole seemed for a while that they would be one of these, but then [[spoiler:she kills him and marries Coop]].
* Sam and Diane in ''Series/{{Cheers}}'', though Diane left in the Season 5 finale. The original intention behind the characters, in fact, had involved a Katherine Hepburn/Spencer Tracy dynamic. After this, there was some teasing about Sam and Rebecca coming together, but it didn't really happen.
* ''Series/{{Chuck}}'':
** The titular protagonist and Sarah.
** Also Ellie and Captain Awesome.
** Besides them, Morgan and Anna in the first two seasons as well. Afterwards, Morgan and Alex.
* In ''Series/TheCloser'', Brenda Leigh Johnson and Fritz Howard start out as friends with UST, reunited when Brenda's new job moves her close to him, and their relationship progresses to dating, engagement, and marriage in a fairly predictable manner.
* Sara and Grissom on ''Series/{{CSI}}''...though that hit a derailment temporarily and then seemed to get back on track in the finale.
* ''Series/{{CSINY}}'':
** Danny and Lindsay.
** Mac and Christine.
** Flack and Angell until her death. Flack and Levato in season 9.
* ''Series/CSIMiami'' had Eric and Calleigh on and off for a while, and Horatio and Marisol until she died.
* J.R. and Sue Ellen and Bobby and Pam were the two main couples for most of ''Series/{{Dallas}}'' 's run. However, neither ended up together in the end.
* Max and Logan in ''Series/DarkAngel''.
* Dawson and Joey Potter in ''Series/DawsonsCreek''. Later on, from season three onwards, Pacey and Joey.
* ''Series/DaysOfOurLives'' has a few. No matter what happens or how bad it looks, there's no way [[CowboyCop Bo]] and [[UptownGirl Hope]], [[ActionHero John]] and [[DamselInDistress Marlena]], and [[LovableRogue Jack]] and [[GirlNextDoor Jennifer]] don't end up together. There's also, of course, patriarch and matriarch Tom and Alice Horton.
* ''Series/TheDefenders2017'': Three of the four Defenders (all save for Series/JessicaJones2015) have an official love interest.
** ''Series/Daredevil2015'': Matt Murdock and Karen Page.
*** ''Daredevil'' also has ones in the form of Foggy Nelson and Marci Stahl, as well as Wilson Fisk and Vanessa Marianna.
** ''Series/LukeCage2016'': Luke Cage and Claire Temple.
** ''Series/IronFist2017'': Danny Rand and Colleen Wing.
* Susan and Mike on ''Series/DesperateHousewives'' were set up this way from day one; in fact when they finally got married in the third season finale, there was a LampshadeHanging from Susan's daughter Julie: upon the usual "reasons they shouldn't wed" question she replies "Are you kidding? They've been dragging this out for three years." Even after they broke up in a five year TimeSkip, fans are just waiting for them to reunite (which they did).
* In ''Series/DoctorWho'',
** For all Doctors in general, [[spoiler:The TARDIS itself -- see "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS32E4TheDoctorsWife The Doctor's Wife]]".]]
** For the Ninth Doctor: Rose Tyler.
** For the Tenth Doctor (and his half-human clone): Rose Tyler.
** Mickey Smith and Martha Jones.
** For the Eleventh Doctor: River Song, and later Clara Oswald. Note that the latter relationship is downgraded to platonic friendship upon his regeneration into the Twelfth Doctor (at first; see below). The Clara relationship is actually made official when the Twelfth Doctor states in dialogue in "Deep Breath" that his previous self considered himself to be her boyfriend.
** Amy Pond and Rory Williams.
** Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra.
** Clara Oswald and Danny Pink, after her relationship with the Doctor is downgraded to simple friendship. Alas, Danny is dead at the end of Series 8.
** For the Twelfth Doctor: Clara Oswald, [[spoiler:with whom his relationship is back to more romantic footing after Danny's passing.]] Later River Song.
** In ''Series/{{Torchwood}}'', Gwen and Rhys, and Jack and Ianto are the Beta Couple. Then Ianto is killed by the 456.
** ''Forty-five years'' after their original run, ''Series/TheSarahJaneAdventures'' story "[[Recap/TheSarahJaneAdventuresS4E5E6DeathOfTheDoctor Death of the Doctor]]" made official couples of two sets of classic series companions: Ian and Barbara, and Ben and Polly!
** The lockdown special ''[[Recap/TheSarahJaneAdventuresSpecialFarewellSarahJane Farewell, Sarah Jane]]'' stated that Nyssa and Tegan are together. However, this was later contradicted in "The Power of the Doctor" where Nyssa is not mentioned and Tegan talks about having had two husbands.
* Viktor and Sierra in ''{{Series/Dollhouse}}'' fell in LoveAtFirstSight, and keep doing it with every new personality they're given, and when they don't have personalities.
* Ed and Carol in ''Series/{{Ed}}''.
* Ari and Temo in ''Series/ElCorazonNuncaSeEquivoca''
* Despite the writers' attempts to the contrary -- "PK Tech Girl", "I Do, I Think", and even "Eat Me", for example -- there was no doubt who the official couple on ''Series/{{Farscape}}'' were. John Crichton and Aeryn Sun were awkwardly falling into tight spaces together or each other's arms in the ''first episode''.
* ''Series/{{ER}}'': While almost everyone in the main cast had temporary romantic relationships with each other, the following couples got a lot of focus and became endgame for good:
** Doug and Carol.
** Mark and Elizabeth, until Mark's death. She reveals to Benton in the series finale that she hasn't been serious with anyone else since [[TheLostLenore Mark]].
** Benton and Cleo.
** Kerry and Sandy, until Sandy's death. Kerry reveals in "Breach of Trust" that she hasn't been able to move on since [[TheLostLenore Sandy's]] death, and that moving to Florida with their son Henry [[HerHeartWillGoOn will help her move on]].
** Luka and Abby.
** Ray and Neela.
* ''Series/FellowTravelers'': The primary romantic relationship is between Hawkins Fuller and Tim Laughlin.
* ''Series/{{Firefly}}'': Carrying all the requisite drama were Mal and Inara, and Simon and Kaylee. Zoe/Wash, being HappilyMarried, have [[BetaCouple considerably less drama]].
* Barry Allen and Iris West in ''Series/TheFlash2014''.
* Niles and Daphne in ''Series/{{Frasier}}'' managed to be an official couple throughout eight whole years of UnrequitedLove, [[UnresolvedSexualTension UST]], and WillTheyOrWontThey before even making a move, never mind getting together, ''and'' despite Niles being married to someone else for the better part of that period. They were relegated to BetaCouple afterwards.
* ''Series/{{Forever|2014}}'': Henry and Abigail in the past. Henry and Jo are clearly headed that way for most of the series, but Henry's secrets keep getting in the way.
* Ross and Rachel in ''Series/{{Friends}}'', whose convoluted romantic relationship becomes a major plot point in the series. Monica and Chandler shared this with them in later on, as they were together for over half the series and served as the romantic and emotional rock of the show. This contrasted to the high profile but irregular Ross and Rachel, meaning they also doubled as the BetaCouple although they led many siginificant storylines.
* Olivia and Peter, and alternate Lincoln Lee and alternate Olivia Dunham, in ''Series/{{Fringe}}''.
* ''Series/{{Garo}}'' has Kouga and Kaoru. There was also Rei and Shizuka but she died before the series began.
* ''Series/GilmoreGirls'' had several {{Official Couple}}s: Lorelai/Luke and Lorelai/Christopher and then Rory/Dean, Rory/Jess and Rory/Logan. By the time the show ended though, Lorelai and Luke were endgame but Rory was single. Naturally, this lead to ShiptoShipCombat. There were also the {{Beta Couple}}s in Sookie/Jackson, Lane/Zach, and Paris/Doyle.
* ''Series/{{Glee}}'':
** Rachel and Finn are the flagship couple of the series. Everything romantic that revolves around these two characters, even if it's involving other characters, generally ends up related in some way to them as a couple.
** Kurt and Blaine seem to have be promoted from BetaCouple to the Official Couple. They got together in the middle of season two and as of the season five premiere [[spoiler: are engaged]].
** There is also Emma and Will. HappilyMarried as of the Season 4 finale "All or Nothing."
** Santana and Brittany as well, who ends up [[spoiler: getting married]] in Season 6 of the show.
* ''Series/GoodOmens2019'':
** [[AngelDevilShipping Angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley]] (a platonic example, [[spoiler:until season 2]]).
** By the end of series one: Anathema and Newt, and Madame Tracy and Mister Shadwell.
** [[CrackPairing Surprisingly]], [[spoiler:archangel Gabriel]] and [[spoiler:prince of Hell Beelzebub]].
* ''Series/GossipGirl''.
** Dan and Serena.
** Chuck and Blair.
* ''Series/{{Grimm}}'':
** Nick and Juliette. Subverted later on, when Juliette becomes a Hexenbiest, and her personality changes as a result. On the other hand, Adalind becomes gentler and much friendlier as a side effect of the Hexenbiest-blocking potion. Eventually, Nick and Adalind become this trope, and Juliette (now calling herself Eve) remains by herself for the rest of the show. Nick and Adalind even have a child together, despite the baby being a result of a BedTrick by Adalind (she made herself look like Juliette).
** Monroe and Rosalee. There's a lot of initial antagonism to their pairing due to fact that they're different species of Wesen. Monroe is even kidnapped but a cult of extremists for "polluting" his bloodline.
* ''Series/GreysAnatomy'':
** The main official couple is Derek and Meredith. [[spoiler:Ends when Derek dies at the end of Season 11.]]
** Christina and Preston in the first three seasons, until Preston's departure at the end of season 3.
** There is also Richard and Adele, Alex and Izzie, and George and Lexie, until George is killed off at the end of season 5.
** By the end of Season 11 the official couples are Alex and Jo (until [[spoiler:Alex leaves the show]]), Richard and Catherine ([[spoiler:then their marriage hits a snag]]) and Bailey and Ben.
* ''Series/{{Hannibal}}'': At the conclusion of season 3, not only are Margot and Alana happily married with a son, but [[OppositesAttract Hannibal and Will]] confess their mutual feelings after killing together for the first time, embracing lovingly while nuzzling. It has been made official that they did not die and talks about a fourth season began mid-2017. Hannibal and Will will be together in the fourth season, should it come to pass.
* ''Series/HappyDays'' has Joanie Cunningham and Chachi Arcola. After their own series (''Joanie Loves Chachi'') tanked, they got married.
* ''Series/HowIMetYourMother'':
** Lily and Marshall have already been together 9 years when the series begins, and [[FlashForward flashforwards]] show them still being HappilyMarried in the year 2029. However, once they got married they mostly became the BetaCouple.
** The series finale reveals that Ted and Robin are the official couple, despite TheNarrator having denied it since the beginning.
* ''Series/InterviewWithTheVampire2022'': In Season 1, the primary romantic relationship is between Louis de Pointe du Lac and Lestat de Lioncourt.
* ''Series/{{JAG}}'' had 9 seasons of UST between the two leads, Harm & Mac, plus a HappilyMarried couple (Bud & Harriet).
* Joey and Alex in ''Series/{{Joey}}''.
* Shinnosuke Tomari and Kiriko Shijima from ''Series/KamenRiderDrive''. They are one of the very few unambiguous main couple in the entire franchise. The WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue in the final episode even mention that they got married and later got a kid. Said kid even appear in the [[Film/KamenRiderDriveSurpriseFuture Surpise Future]] movie when he travelled from the future. The crossover movie with ''Series/KamenRiderGhost'' also ends with their wedding. Even further, the sequel novel set two years after the end of the series shows Kiriko taking a maternity leave to take care of their newborn child.
* ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'' has Ren and his fiancee Eri as an established couple; and also Kitaoka and Reiko as a WillTheyOrWontThey of this trope. In the movie, Shinji meets Miho and they are an implied official couple themselves.
* Eventually, [[TheMcCoy Narumi Akiko]] and [[HotBlooded Terui Ryuu]] of ''Series/KamenRiderW''.
* Gary and Valene were the one couple that remained endgame throughout ''Series/KnotsLanding'''s run.
* Jack [=McCoy=] and Claire Kincaid in ''Series/LawAndOrder'', although this is not confirmed until the season nine episode "Sideshow," [[spoiler:three seasons after Claire's death]].
* Elliot and Kathy Stabler in ''Series/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnit''.
* Richard and Kahlan from ''Series/LegendOfTheSeeker'', which wasted absolutely ''no'' time telegraphing the fact that they were destined to be together. Unsurprisingly, this was also a ForegoneConclusion for anyone who had read [[Literature/SwordOfTruth the books on which the series is based]].
* Robbie Lewis and Laura Hobson in ''Series/{{Lewis}}''
* Lizzie and Gordo in ''Series/LizzieMcGuire'', as of TheMovie and series conclusion.
* ''Series/{{Lost}}'':
** Jack and Kate.
** Sawyer and Juliet.
** Sawyer and Kate.
** Jack and Juliet. ({{LoveDodecahedron}})
** Jin and Sun.
** Charlie and Claire.
* Clark and Lois of course in ''Series/LoisAndClark''.
* Elizabeth and Henry [=McCord=] on ''Series/MadamSecretary''. Unusually for this trope, at the start of the series they were already HappilyMarried with three children -- and miraculously, have ''stayed'' so despite the rather ridiculous amount of stress their marriage is put under over the course of the show. They've been cited as the healthiest example of marriage on television.
* Jane and Lisbon in ''Series/TheMentalist'' albeit with all the problems that one can be expected with someone as broken as Jane. They end HappilyMarried in the series finale.
* Arthur and Guinevere in ''Series/{{Merlin|2008}}''. As of the end of series 4, they got together and are HappilyMarried.
* Bambang and Melani in ''Series/MimpiMetropolitan''. They start out as friends with Bambang's feelings being unrequited. They have a RelationshipUpgrade after Melani finally realize she does reciprocate it in episode 48 and they remain in relationship even after Bambang leaves the city in the finale.
* In the last season of ''Series/{{Monk}}'' Randy Disher and Sharona became a couple.
* ''Series/MorkAndMindy''. [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin It's right there in the title!]]
* Kermit and Miss Piggy through ''Series/TheMuppetShow'' and the rest of the Muppet-verse.
* ''Series/{{NCIS}}'':
** Has Official ''former'' Couples, specifically [=McGee=]/Abby and Gibbs/Jenny.
** Tony/Ziva has become this.
** The post-Gibbs era has Jimmy Palmer and Jessica Knight, after he [[spoiler:loses his wife Breena to COVID during the time skip]].
* ''Series/{{NUMB3RS}}'' has three: Charlie and Amita for one, who have had tension since they were introduced, Larry and Megan, which nobody saw coming and Don and Robin
* ''Series/{{The Office|US}}'':
** Jim and Pam.
** Dwight and Angela were this in at least the early seasons, and even though they haven't actually been together in over five years, their relationship has remained a big part of the show throughout it's run. No matter how bad things seem at times, something always happens to make them revisit their feelings for each other. Add to that a nice dose of WillTheyOrWontThey, UnresolvedSexualTension, and UnrequitedLoveSwitcheroo.
** Michael and Holly from the end of season 4 onwards.
* ''Series/OnceUponATime'':
** Snow White and Prince Charming. They start out the show getting married, so even though in the present they aren't together, ya know it's gonna happen again eventually. [[RomanceOnTheSet Also with their actors in real life, too]].
** As of season three's finale, [[spoiler:Killian/Captain Hook and Emma]].
* Leslie and Ben and April and Andy in ''Series/ParksAndRecreation'', as well as [[spoiler:Ann and Chris]] during season 6.
* ''Series/OneTreeHill'':
** Lucas and Peyton.
** Nathan and Haley.
** Brooke and Julian starting Season 6.
** Clay and Quinn starting Season 7.
* In ''Series/OurMissBrooks'', Miss Brooks and Mr. Boynton. Teenagers Walter Denton and Harriet Conklin are also boyfriend and girlfriend as well.
* While ''Series/{{Passions}}'' had several official couples, the most prominent ones were Ethan & Theresa and Luis & Sheridan, although only the former ended up together with Luis ending up with Sheridan's niece Fancy, and Sheridan ending up with Luis' brother, Antonio, her first husband.
* ''Series/PhilOfTheFuture'': Phil Diffy and Keely Teslow. Planned from the start by WordOfGod. Got together in the season two turned series finale.
* ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' has a few, mostly involving the Red Ranger, most notably Kimberly/Tommy a.k.a. "Tomberly" from MMPR, who shared several (and indeed the first) of the few on-screen kisses that went down in PR history.
** Kat and Tommy were indicated to be married in the distant future once and there's really nothing that's said otherwise since then.
** [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace Ashley and Andros]] are also an Official Couple, as are [[Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue Joel and Angela Fairweather-Rawlings.]]
** [[Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge Tyler and Shelby]] get together after a season and a half of dancing around each other.
** [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel Calvin and Hayley]] have been together for a least a year prior to the start of their season.
** [[Series/PowerRangersDinoFury Izzy and Fern]] made Ranger history as the show's first gay official couple.
* ''Series/PrettyLittleLiars'': All four girls date several different people throughout the series, but end up with their longest-standing and most prolific love interests at the end of the series:
** Aria and Ezra.
** Hanna and Caleb.
** Emily and Alison.
** Spencer and Toby.
* Michael and Sara in ''Series/PrisonBreak''.
* ''Series/{{Psych}}'' sets up Shawn/Juliet over and over and over again...and then, at the end of season three, has Juliet confess that she is, in fact, in love with Shawn, while he was on a date with another girl. Since then, it seems to come up occasionally, but it's hard to tell if they've both moved past it or are just waiting for the right moment ''again''. In Season 5, they're officially together.
* Ned and Chuck in ''Series/PushingDaisies'', much to the annoyance of Ned/Olive shippers.
* Robin Hood and Lady Marian in ''Series/RobinHood''. So obvious that it hardly warrants mentioning, except that the FanPreferredCouple of Guy/Marian had some fans [[DieForOurShip vilifying Robin]], listing the reasons why Guy was a better match for Marian, and clinging to the hope that they would somehow end up together. Ultimately Guy [[spoiler:murdered Marian]], effectively ending ''both'' ships, and yet there were still some that complained that it was Robin and not Guy who got the TogetherInDeath scene with Marian at the end of the show.
* Zack and Kelly in ''Series/SavedByTheBell''.
* ''Series/SchittsCreek'' has Ted and Alexis, David and Patrick, Roland and Jocelyn and the matriarch and patriarch Johnny and Moira Rose.
* Walter and Paige from ''Series/{{Scorpion}}.''
* ''Series/{{Scrubs}}'' has Turk and Carla, Dr. Cox and Jordan, and J.D. and Elliot.
* Adam and Cassie in ''Series/TheSecretCircle''.
* Inspector Series/SledgeHammer [[CargoShip and his gun]] is as canonical as it gets, given that he's regularly shown ''sleeping'' with it. Justified by RuleOfFunny.
* ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' has had several official couples during its 10-year run.
** Clark and Lana were set up this way for the first seven seasons, [[DoomedByCanon even though fans know from the very beginning that they don't end up together.]]
** After Lana left, Clark and Lois became the offical couple of the series.
** Oliver and Chloe from season eight onwards.
* ''Series/StargateAtlantis'':
** Much to the dislike of several fans, and the great pleasure of several others, Rodney and Keller.
** Sheppard/Weir was an example where the actors played their characters together like this, even if the writing didn't exactly follow it. Howeever like Jack and Sam, any relationship between them would be disapproved of by their superiors because of their shared command of Atlantis, the writers could have been setting up a similar unofficial romance without writing anything overt.
** ''Series/StargateUniverse'' has Scott/Chloe, much to the consternation of Eli/Chloe shippers.
* ''Series/StargateSG1'':
** While they can't be together until one of them quits the military, Jack and Sam are very much the "it" couple of the show. According to WordOfGod, they were originally not intended to be this; but when the powers that be realized the fandom had latched onto the brilliant onscreen chemistry between Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping, they decided to go with it.
** Depending on how you view deleted scenes, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_evV0kDWa5E this scene]] from the "Series/StargateAtlantis" episode "Trio", basically makes Sam/Jack canon. The DVD intro to the scene has the PowersThatBe very explicitly state that Sam is referring to Jack and they are a couple. At least one writer has said that as far as he's concerned, Jack and Sam got together after "Threads" and have been together ever since.
** Daniel/Vala was this in the last couple seasons.
* ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'' was more character-driven than the other shows, being set on a space station so it explored romances more.
** Captain Sisko and Cassady Yates. In fact this was made possible because she was a freighter captain who frequented the station, meaning there was no chain of command to worry about. All other Trek captains had problems with never being able to stay around long.
** Chief O'Brien and his wife, Keiko. This relationship actually began in ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'' and came to ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'' when the actors moved shows.
** Jadzia Dax and Commander Worf ended up getting married.
** Ezri Dax and Dr Bashir ended up together by the end of the series.
** Kira and Odo ended up together, but were eventually [[StarCrossedLovers forced]] to go their separate ways due to the burden of duty towards their respective peoples.
** Garak and Tora Ziyal were paired together. At least until Ziyal [[StarCrossedLovers died]].
* ''Series/StarTrekDiscovery'' has Michael and Ash [[spoiler:until Michael leaves for the future, leaving Ash behind]], as well as Paul and Hugh[[spoiler:, which hits a snag when Hugh is murdered then brought back to life, but seems to get back on track]].
* ''Series/StarTrekEnterprise'' had some confusion over this as there was some hints towards a T'pol/Archer romance, but was actually opposed by the actors themselves as it was a senior officer/subordinate relationship and generally inappropriate. Although there was plenty of T'pol/Trip as well, set up from the pilot with their [[IntimateHealing intimate disinfecting]] and having SlapSlapKiss vibes for the first two seasons. It became more overt in the third season and while it never became official in the series it was stated they did spend some time actually together.
* ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'' has Riker and Troi's on-and-off relationship. They eventually get married after the events of ''Film/StarTrekNemesis''. ''Series/StarTrekPicard'' reveals that they had two children together (although their firstborn died) and moved to a sparsely-populates planet after retiring from Starfleet.
* ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'': Neelix and Kes, then Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres, but never Janeway and Chakotay to fan disappointment. In fact, given that the need for everyone to start pairing up was lampshaded early in the series (as they thought they'd take 70+ years to get home) it's surprising how little romance there was on the ship. There were hints by the end of a Chakotay/Seven pairing, but she is single in ''Series/StarTrekPicard''.
* ''Series/StrangerThings'': Season 1 gives us Mike Wheeler and Eleven. Season 2 adds Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers to the mix (both on the set [[RomanceOnTheSet and off]]), as well as Joyce Byers and Bob Newby up until [[spoiler:Bob's]] death.
* ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' every so often follows through with it's [[ShipTease ship teasing]], one example being [[TeamMom Urara]] and [[SexyMentor Hikaru]] of Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger.
** Super Sentai has few actually, Ryu and Kaori from Series/ChoujinSentaiJetman, Asuka and Mahoro from Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger, Tatsuya and Yuuri from Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger, Nanami and Isshu from Series/NinpuuSentaiHurricaneger, Satoru and Sakura from Series/GoGoSentaiBoukenger is also implied in Gekiranger vs. Boukenger.
