Nu Virgos (or ВИА Гра, as better known domestically) is Ukrainian GirlGroup created in 2000 by Dmytro Kostyuk and Konstantin Meladze on the height of girls band wave. Its first lineup consisted of Alyona Vynnytska and Nadezda Granovskaya-Meykher. But the band became really notable in 2003 when, after years of lineup changes and TroubledProduction, the group released an album named "Stop! Stop! Stop!" with lineup consisting of Nadezhda Granovskaya, Anna Sedokova and Vera Brezhneva. This album became a huge success both in Russia and overseas (especially in Asia), with Nu Virgos becoming one of the synonims to girl's band in Russian-speaking countries. However, after Anna Sedokova left the band in early 2004, Nu Virgos fell in TroubledProduction territory again (despite still being very successful). After that, Nu Virgos were disbanded by Konstantin Meladze in 2012... only to be resurrected via TalentShow next year. The first new line-up consisted of Erika Herzeg, Anastasiya Kozhevnikova and Misha Romanova.

!! Nu Vigros provides example of:

* AngelicBeauty: "Мир, о котором я не знала до тебя" ("The world I didn't know about before you" or "Take You Back" in English version) music video shows the singers (Vera, Nadya and Albina Dzhanabaeva, who replaced Anya) in FluffyCloudHeaven wearing outfits of angels (with white wings for Vera, red for Albina, black for Nadezhda).
* BaseballEpisode: "Rikoshet" shows girls from the new lineup in baseball gear batting the balls.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: The most common pattern for casting the singers. For example, "Golden Lineup" (the most successful one) consisted of Vera Brezhneva (blonde), Anna Sedokova (redhead) and Nadezhda Granovskaya (brunette). In fact, the band is a TropeNamer in Russian-speaking countries.
* DisappearedDad: "Good Morning, Papa!" is about a young woman who was abandoned by her father many years ago and still hates him.
* DoubleEntendre: The name of the band itself may have three meanings. First, it is the abbreviation of the names of the girls from the very first lineup (VInnitskaya Alyona GRAnovskaya Nadezhda). Second, it is the pun of the well-known medication by Pfizer (emphasizing the MsFanservice appeal of the band). And, the last meaning is VIA standing for "вокально-инструментальный ансамбль" (Soviet name for music groups), while GRA stands for Ukrainian "гра" (game, that also has some sexual meaning).
* EmbarrassingLastName: Vera Brezhneva's last name was actually Halushka, which means "dumpling" in Ukrainian.
* FreudWasRight: "Stop! Stop! Stop!" is a song about sex which is sung (in music video) in front of Sigmund Freud.
* LyricalColdOpen: "My Emancipation".
* MsFanservice: All group members were favourites of men's magazines. Most of them don't give up on fanservice in their social media accounts.
* MurderBallad: "Цветок и нож" (The Flower and The Knife) is a song about a woman who killed her boyfriend for cheating.
* NamedAfterSomeoneFamous: Vera's EmbarrassingLastName issue was resolved by giving her the pseudonym "Brezhneva". Why? She is from Dniprodzerzhinsknow Kamianske, the city where UsefulNotes/LeonidBrezhnev was born.
* ObligatoryBondageSong: "Не оставляй меня, любимый" ("Don't ever leave me, love" in English) isn't the BDSM song itself (it's about a complicated relationship or unrequited love), but the music video literally screams about it. Imagery ranges from wax play with Vera to Nadya with the tape on her mouth.
* ParentsWalkInAtTheWorstTime: "Познакомься с моей мамой" ("Let Me Introduce My Mama") is about a guy who runs from girlfriend's flat in order not to be busted by her mother.
* RevolvingDoorBand: The group is particularly notorious for this. There were so many lineup changes, we can't (and needn't) list them here.
* Sexophone: "Не оставляй меня, любимый" features long saxophone solo in a very sensual song.
* SexIsViolence: MusicVideo for "Good Morning, Papa!" (in its second half) shows girls fighting the crowd full of men and visibly enjoying it.
* TitleOnlyChorus: "Убей мою подругу".
