Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown are a hard rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The group’s current lineup consists of Tyler Bryant (Guitar, vocals), Graham Whitford (Guitar), Ryan Fitzgerald (Bass) and Caleb Crosby (Drums).

The group was initially formed in 2009 by Tyler Bryant, a former blues guitarist from Paris, Texas, who had moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting. Since then, the group has led a successful musical career, releasing a number of albums and EP’s, and performing at several music festivals. Their music has also been featured in TV shows.

!! I feel, feel the tropes, comin' down on me:

* BluesRock: The group's earlier albums as well as ''Shake the Roots'' are largely in this style.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Prior to founding the Shakedown, Bryant recorded the album ''Born in Texas'', which featured a Texas-style blues sound.
* GriefSong: "Out There" off of ''Truth and Lies''.
* HardRock: ''Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown'', ''Truth & Lies'', and ''Pressure'' all definitely fit this genre.
* LeadSingerPlaysLeadGuitar: Tyler sings lead vocals and plays most of the guitar solos.
* MagicalNegro: Roosevelt Twitty, Bryant's childhood guitar teacher.
* NobodyLovesTheBassist: The group has gone through three bass players over the course of their career. The current bassist, Ryan Fitzgerald, didn’t even appear in promotional photos (like the one above) for the group’s album ''Pressure'', which he made his debut playing bass on.
** On the cover of ''Shake the Roots'', Ryan is nowhere in sight.
** Averted with the cover for ''Live From 79'', where Ryan appears with the group.
* TitleDrop: During the first track on ''Wild Child''.
* TitleTrack: “My Radio”, “The Wayside”, “Pressure”, and "Roots".
