Ms. Vampire Who Lives in My Neighborhood (となりの吸血鬼さん Tonari no Kyūketsuki-san) is a manga series by Amatou. It centers around Sophie Twilight, a 360-year-old vampire girl who is a sweet-natured otaku who would never hurt anyone else. One day she gets visited by a schoolgirl named Akari Amano who was looking for the place known as the dollhouse (and a living doll-which turns out to be Sophie), actually the mansion where she lives. Akari quickly takes a liking for Sophie over her doll-like appearance, starting to live with her and wanting to pamper her and dote on how cute she is. Hilarity ensues.

!!Ms. Vampire Who Tropes in My Neighborhood:
* TheAgeless: Vampires like Sophie and Ellie don't age and always retain the appearance of whatever age they were before they became a vampire.
* BlandNameProduct: Sophie buys all her stuff in internet from Amason.
* BloodBath: Ellie likes to bath in human blood because she believes it's good for the skin. It's also one of the many hints that she might be UsefulNotes/ElizabethBathory.
* BookEnds: The last episode ends with Sophie and Akari reenacting their first meeting at the same forest from the start of the first episode.
* CannotCrossRunningWater: Downplayed. The vampires in this series are either afraid of running water or don't like it, but taking a shower doesn't do harm to them.
* CantLiveWithThemCantLiveWithoutThem:
** Sophie thought she could scare Akari off by showing the human girl her SuperStrength, but when Akari runs off she starts feeling lonely and is surprised she could miss someone that annoying. Though right afterwards, Akari runs back and reveals she actually fetched all the things around her house she couldn't open to get Sophie to open them for her. When she sees this, she admits indirectly that she enjoys her company (although she finds her somewhat aggravating at times).
** Sophie has the same reaction when Ellie disappears just as suddenly as she arrived. Even though she couldn't stand Ellie's clinginess, she looked genuinely lonely when she was gone. But like Akari, she wasn't gone for real. Also applies to the past, as Ellie was apparently dragging her around almost all the time.
* CastingGag: This isn't the first time Miyu Tomita voiced a girl with a deadpan voice who turns out to be a supernatural creature living in human society. Both are also otakus who dedicate all waking hours to their obsession, with many characters doting on how cute they are. The last time it happened was Gabriel White Tenma.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The serious and introverted Sophie is Melancholic, the cheerful and friendly Akari is Sanguine, the calmer yet easygoing Hinata is Phlegmatic, and the pushy, immature Ellie is Choleric.
* FurAgainstFang: Discussed and averted in Episode 6 where Sakuya asks Sophie if it's true that vampires have an animosity with werewolves like in the movies, which Sophie answers that werewolves are creatures of superstition (and yet, she's a vampire).
* HealingFactor: Apparently, while Sophie can lose parts of her body if she gets directly exposed to sunlight, she heals after the sun goes down (she apparently lost her head at one point, but she was still alive and kicking).
* InsistentTerminology: Ellie is Sophie's acquaintance and nothing more (although it's implied she considers her a friend).
* JobTitle: Sophie Twilight is the titular Kyūketsuki-sanMs. Vampire.
* LivingForeverIsNoBigDeal: Sophie and Ellie don't really think much of their immortality. They live alongside humans as if it's normal.
* MayflyDecemberFriendship: Sophie and Ellie are vampires who have already lived for centuries. That doesn't stop them from becoming good friends with the teenage human girls Akari and Hinata.
* MissingReflection: As per norm with vampires, Sophie lacks a reflection. As does Ellie, which becomes a problem given her fondness for makeup, which she applies very sloppily since she can't see herself in the mirror. It's so bad that Akari has to help her to put it right.
* MustBeInvited: Subverted -- when Akari asks Sophie if this trope applies, she says it does, but specifies that if a vampire were to enter a home uninvited, the result would be that they'd feel really guilty and awkward for barging in. As Akari points out, that's actually completely ordinary.
* Nosebleed: Akari's nose bleeds when she has perverted thoughts regarding Sophie.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Sophie is a FriendlyNeighbourhoodVampire who drinks refrigerated blood that she microwaves in a teacup, cannot bear the thought of biting a human, and is an otaku who spends all her waking hours watching anime. She also debunks the myth of vampires being unable to enter a building without invitation; the reality is they can, but will be overcome with guilt if they do so, as nobody would find that normal (as Akari points out, it's a very logical reason).
* ProductPlacement: Sophie's computer looks suspiciously like a Macbook but with grape logo instead of apple. Also in episode 11 the girls are ordering Pizza Hot.
* RunningGag: Akari's obsession with dolls creeping people out. It is also the cause of how she met Sophie in the first place (she was looking for a living doll).
* ShoutOut: Quite a bunch of these.
** Episode 1: Sophie brings in a road roller ala Dio Brando from Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders.
** Episode 2: Sophie mentions that being under the sun makes her energy drop down to VideoGame/Spelunker levels.
** Episode 3: Sophie's pillows with characters suspiciously similar to those from VideoGame/KanColle. Also reference of Literature/MariaWatchesOverUs when the girls role-play as sisters.
** Episode 8: Ellie's remarks about only wearing Chanel No. 5 when she sleeps reference Creator/MarilynMonroe. Sophie saying that she wanted to go to Ooarai during summer break is a reference to Anime/GirlsUndPanzer since she also say that she saw it in an anime. Sophie's playing an arcade game called AiparaAi-rizu/Ai-rhythm in the anime, the latter being a shoutout of Pretty Rhythm (VideoGame/Aikatsu x VideoGame/PriPara).
** Episode 11: Lots of shout-outs here, including Ellie reading a manga named Flower of Versailles, Sophie having styrofoam display piece shaped just like Cactuar, a Game Buoy, a Furbu, the reason Sophie went to Japan because she wanted to buy Super Manio 2, etc.
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: A vampire being named Twilight brings to mind another famous vampire franchise.
* SqueakyEyes: Both Sophie and Akari's eyes make audible blinking sounds in moments of awkwardness.
* SuperStrength: Being a vampire, Sophie can easily heft up things like cars with one hand.
* SwappedRoles: In most circumstances a human girl would be scared by a vampire. Here Akari is the human girl who creeps out Sophie the vampire, albeit unintentionally. Lampshaded InUniverse by Sophie.
* UndressingTheUnconscious: During the BeachEpisode, Akari apparently put Sophie in a bikini while she slept before they headed to the beach.
* VampiresAreRich: After Ellie lists what modern gadgets she wants to buy in her head, she takes out 3 large bars of gold - and asks if she should "add a bit more". Sophie most likely fits this trope too, as there is apparently no end to the money she uses to buy her blood in amazon or otaku goods.
* VampiresHateGarlic: Sophie's and Ellie's aversion for garlic is treated as a RunningGag in the series.
* VampiresSleepInCoffins: The vampire girls, Sophie and Ellie, sleep inside coffins. They don't even seem comfortable with sleeping on beds.
* WingedHumanoid: Sophie and Ellie can grow bat wings from their backs when they choose to fly over walking.
