4	In a world of generic fantasy role playing game tropes, the goblins are hapless XP fodder for starting adventurers. Except one day Honwasabi (Wasabi for short), a young female goblin stumbles across a dying adventurer and finishes him off and gets XP herself.

She levels up slower than other heroes because after wounding hostile monsters, she lets them run away rather than finishing them off. Even after she tells him that [[ThatManIsDead his daughter is dead]] his continued kindness towards her causes her to eventually decide to become his [[ReplacementGoldfish surrogate granddaughter]] and stay with him for the rest of his life.]]
