The art of combat with excreta, first employed by humanity's simian ancestors. It is almost ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: a combat technique based on the throwing of feces. For some reason the verb used for the action is almost always "fling" (rather than a synonym like "throw" or "hurl"), particularly when performed by monkeys.

Compare ButtCannon, UrineTrouble, {{Fartillery}}, ExcrementStatement. A subtrope of ToiletHumour (in most cases, this is rarely if ever PlayedForDrama) and a member of the [[FooFu Fu]] family.

[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:Anime & Manga]]
* In ''Franchise/{{Digimon}}'', [[JokeCharacter Sukamon, Numemon,]] and their [[PaletteSwap variants]] are masters of this trope, as is Nanimon. Their SignatureMove are usually variants of "[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Poop Toss]]". Vegiemon also has one such attack. Garbagemon meanwhile, had ''poop bazookas''.
* In ''Manga/{{Drifters}}'', Oda Nobunaga makes great use of feces by weaponizing them, first dipping arrows in it as an impromptu venom and eventually as an ingredient for gunpowder.
* ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders'': Alessi [[FountainOfYouth turns Polnareff into a toddler]] and then attempts to drown him in a bathtub. Polnareff escapes by taking a dump on Alessi, disgusting him into letting go.
* The goblins of ''Manga/GoblinSlayer'' poison their knives with a mix of their own wastes, turing a single stab lethal.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Card Games]]
* The aptly named card game [[http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004DK9JLO Poo]] is all about this. The players are angry monkeys in a zoo hurling poo at each other.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* ''ComicBook/{{Daredevil}}'' villain Bullseye was once given an all-liquid diet while in prison, because his jailers were afraid that he could turn solid waste into a deadly projectile. Since Bullseye's m.o. is [[ImprobableWeaponUser turning]] ''[[ImprobableWeaponUser anything]]'' [[ImprobableWeaponUser he throws into a deadly projectile,]] this isn't that far-fetched, and he admits he probably would try.
-->'''Bullseye:''' They have me on stool softeners and liquid food because they're afraid that if I have a solid bowel movement I'd kill someone with it. And I would, too.
** In ''ComicBook/ThePunisherMax'', he claims to have tracked an Inuit victim several days over the ice before stabbing him with a shiv made of frozen shit.
* ''ComicBook/SavageDragon'' has a villain called Dung who shoots hot feces from his {{Arm Cannon}}s.
* The Swedish comic book character ''Krystmarodören'' is an anarchic superhero with the power of super-pooping. He is once challenged by a copycat, Kung Kisstank, who uses technology to duplicate his powers and fires [[FelonyMisdemeanor synthetic poop]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Strips]]
* Ruben Bolling's ''ComicStrip/TomTheDancingBug'' comic strip has recurring character Charlie the Australopithecine, who tries to fit in with modern society, but often reverts to aggressive dung-flinging.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fan Works]]
* In ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4145459/4/The-Horror-The-Horror The Horror! The Horror!]]'' Harry gets several transfigured monkeys to throw dung at the Harry Potter Fan Club, which consists entirely of obsessed fangirls (and one or two fan''boys'').
* In Creator/AAPessimal's ''Literature/{{Discworld}}'' and ''Series/TheBigBangTheory'' crossover ''Fanfic/TheManyWorldsInterpretation'', Howard Wolowitz makes the error, whilst visiting the Ankh-Morpork City Zoo, of calling a habitat full of bonobo chimpanzees "monkeys". Bonobos are not as big as orang-utans. But there are a lot of them, and they express their displeasure at not being called ''apes'' with some remarkably ballistic dung. Aimed at Howard.
* ''VideoGame/PokemonWack'': One Poison-type move (Poop Toss) involves flinging fecal matter at the opposing Pokemon.
* King Kong utilizes this several times throughout the ''Manga/OnePiece'' SelfInsert ''Fanfic/RipplesinthePond''.
* In ''The Killer Dame'' (a ParodyFic of the ''Voyager'' episode "The Killing Game"), Janeway throws a MolotovCocktail at the Hirogen Nazis. Tuvok thinks it's waste of good wine and throws a chamber pot at them instead.
-->"Shit!" cried the Leutnant, as he was showered by the stinking contents.\
"Yes it is," growled the Hirogen crouching next to him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* In ''Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail'', the French soldiers atop Castle Arrrrgh pour a chamber-pot on King Arthur's head.
* In ''Film/WarForThePlanetOfTheApes'', as part of the apes' plan to escape the Alpha Omega base, Rocket throws his poop at a human guard so that he'll enter the apes' prison and threaten to shoot him. Once the guard is standing on the right spot, Maurice and Bad Ape drop him into the underground tunnels to steal his keys and gun.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* In ''[[Literature/{{Animorphs}} Animorphs 28 - The Experiment]]'', the Yeerks are tampering with human food and the team end up morphing chimpanzees to infiltrate one of their labs. Unfortunately, [[BigBad Visser 3]] drops by to check on things by sheer bad luck, and orders the test chimps killed now that they've served their purpose. [[SadClown Marco]], of course, is the one to suggest "Poop him!", getting him out of the room long enough for them to plan an escape. Not only do all the Animorphs throw dung at him and the scientists, but the ''real'' chimpanzees (apparently thinking its a game) join in as well. This is one of the books told from the point of view of [[TheSpock Ax]], which makes it ''even funnier''.
* In one Literature/TheDresdenFiles novel, Harry rescues some temple dog puppies from monkey demons. Flying monkey demons. Since Harry cannot catch a break, they chase him by flinging flaming monkey demon poo at him.
--> "The building was on fire, and it wasn't my fault."
* The ''Franchise/StarTrek'' novel ''[[Literature/StarTrekExMachina Ex Machina]]'' opens with a young farmer throwing a handful of animal dung at his planet's leader.
* In ''Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire'':
** The Riot of King's Landing is triggered when an angry peasant throws a cowpie at [[TheCaligula Joffrey]], who ''[[DisproportionateRetribution orders the entire crowd put to death in response.]]''
** Cregan Karstark, angry at being imprisoned in a Castle Black ice-cell, was reported to fling his frozen excrement at anyone who came to feed him. This hardly endeared him to his guards.
* ''Literature/ForestKingdom'': In book 4 (''Beyond the Blue Moon''), the Shaman, a hermit who got sick of peasants assuming he's some sort of holy prophet, has a history of throwing mud and deer scat at would-be supplicants so they'll leave him alone.
* In ''[[Literature/MythAdventures Another Fine Myth]]'' Skeeve uses his magic to fling dragon-dung at a gang of attacking muggers.
* In ''[[Literature/TheStainlessSteelRat The Stainless Steel Rat Wants You]]'' humans infiltrate aliens' base in an allosaurus-like robot with a bazooka under its tail. Guess how the charges were disguised.
* In the last section of ''Literature/{{Aztec}}'', some of the Mexica (the women and the elderly, not the warriors) flung anything they could get their hands on at the invading Spaniards during the siege of Tenochtitlan. That includes feces, rocks, and rotting food.
* In the short story "The Heart's Filthy Lesson" by Creator/ElizabethBear, a female explorer on Venus is attacked by a tiger-like creature that chases her up a tree. Lacking other options, she unseals her powered-suit and urinates on the creature to drive it off.
* ''Literature/WelcomeToWonderland'': Kevin the Monkey from "Beach Party Surf Monkey" is prone to doing this whenever he's angry. First, he throws some at Aiden Tyler when he demands Kevin be fired from the movie, and he [[spoiler:covers Room 1313 in his poop when Veronica Conch is holding him there to get him out of the movie. He then hits Veronica with some poop when the door to Room 1313 is opened]].
* During the battle between the Flealess and the Wild Ones in ''Literature/TheWildOnes'', some of the birds attack the Flealess by flying over them and pelting them with droppings.
* A martial arts manual, noting the BringMeMyBrownPants trope and the tendency of their practitioners to wear baggy pants, suggested tongue-in-cheek that you could take a crap during a fight, let it run down your leg and then kick it into your opponent's face.
* A medieval German Aesopoem states that you should not throw (metaphoric) shit. Because even if you win, you are (metaphorically) full of shit. Centuries before teh Internets...
* This is one of the many identifying characteristics of the filthy, violent Yahoos that Gulliver meets in his ''[[Literature/GulliversTravels Travels]]''.
* ''Literature/TheOneAndOnlyIvan'': Ivan the gorilla sometimes rolls piles of his own dung into "me-balls," which he can then throw for amusement. He wonders why humans don't carry their own "me-balls" with them.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* One episode of ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' had Professor Bobo do this to The Observer. Luckily it was never shown on screen. In fact, it's a RunningGag on both ''[=MST3=]'' and SpiritualSuccessor Podcast/RiffTrax that anytime a primate is on screen, a riff about it throwing poo will soon follow. {{Exaggerated|Trope}} in [=RiffTrax=]'s riffed short ''Film/OneGotFat''.
* ''Series/TheUltimateFighter'' involves one of the fighters pranking the others by something he calls an "upper deck," involving his defecating in their toilet-tank.
* On ''Series/{{Friends}}'' Ross says that he had a fight with his pet monkey Marcel. "I said some things and he threw some feces."
* On ''Series/TheBigBangTheory'', Dr Amy Farrah-Fowler was briefly suspended from working with experimental primates for "unprofessional behaviour". During her studies in addiction in apes, her experimental animals, outraged at being deprived of cigarettes and alcohol, flung feces at her. Amy ruefully accepted that flinging it back was probably not the most professional behaviour for a scientific researcher.
* ''Series/{{CSI}}'': During a PrisonRiot in "No Humans Involved", the prisoners make an ExcrementStatement by defecating on the floor, and then throw the excrement at the police officers who enter to break up the riot.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Myths & Religion]]
* The bonnacon fends off its pursuers by ejecting flaming dung.
* ''Myth/GreekMythology'': This is one of the hazards Hercules faced in confronting the Stymphalian birds, whose feces were deadly-poisonous to touch.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tabletop Games]]
* The rulebook for ''TabletopGame/Warhammer40000'' references this in the writeup for the "Moral Support (Get 'Im, Boss!)" melee combat rule. In the scenario, Gabriel Seth is challenged by an Ork Nob accompanied by a group of Boyz:
-->Drakka issues a challenge and Seth accepts. As Seth has no unit of his own to back him up, the Orks are busy cheering their boss on, throwing dung at Seth, and generally being off-putting.
* There is a card game just called ''Poo'' in which you play as primates flinging poo at other players. Anyone receiving a compiled amount of poo greater than the threshold is eliminated in turn until only one player is left standing.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Theatre]]
* ''Theatre/ComeFromAway'': Bonnie has to contend with the male bonobo chimpanzee throwing his own feces around.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Video Games]]
* ''VideoGame/SeventySevenPEggwife'' uses this trope as a ''selling'' point, where it's widely promoted as the crudest, filthiest FPS game in existence. Your first weapon is a water Pisstol (not a typo) which you reload by urinating in it, and later you collect a shotgun-like weapon called the sh*tgun (guess what it shoots) and the rocket launcher substitute, Fertilauncher. Even when unarmed, you have a melee attack by spraying ''brown piss'' on targets.
* One of the explanations behind the PlayerTic tea-bagging (squatting repeatedly on your kill's corpse) is the tea-bagger miming the action of taking a dump on the downed victim.
* Poshul, the time-traveling dog character in ''VideoGame/ChronoCross'', and one of her attacks which consists of kicking up a storm of "doggy doo."
* ''VideoGame/{{Okami}}'' has the Brown Rage technique, which explodes! There's also Golden Fury, its urine counterpart.
* There are a lot of different attacks based on this in ''VideoGame/DigimonWorld''. In fact, there's a whole Trash type of Digimon specializing in this kind of combat, consisting primarily of sentient piles of dung and slime.
* One of the enemies' enemies from ''VideoGame/RedneckRampage'' was the Turd minion. Take three guesses on how it attacks.
* The [[TalkingPoo Great Mighty Poo]] in ''VideoGame/ConkersBadFurDay'' lobs the stuff he's made of at Conker, who returns fire with toilet paper.
* In ''VideoGame/TheSims 2'', a bad date will result in a "Flaming Bag Of Poo" left on your doorstep.
* In the Nintendo 64 version of ''VideoGame/SpaceStationSiliconValley'', the primary attack of the playable rat character is poo that explodes 3 seconds after being laid.
* Each ''VideoGame/DarkSouls'' game features the Dung Pie item. Throwing it at an enemy is one of the few ways to [[StatusInflictionAttack inflict]] the ultra-damaging Toxic status effect, making it something of a LethalJokeWeapon. Throwing a Dung Pie, however, also builds up the player's Toxic Meter, making it dangerous to spam repeatedly... mostly. It inflicts the toxic status effect, but drains health only three-tenths as fast as the toxic caused by [[DemonicSpiders Blowdart Snipers]], and [[OneCurseLimit players can only be affected by one type of toxic at once]], so people going through Blighttown sometimes intentionally toxify themselves with Dung Pies. ''VideoGame/DarkSoulsIII'' introduces the Rope Dung Pie, which has you throwing it backward or dropping it on the ground.
* ''VideoGame/SekiroShadowsDieTwice'' has the Guardian Ape, who uses this along with {{Fartillery}} as part of its attacks.
* The ''VideoGame/MonsterHunter'' games have Dung Bombs that the player can throw at monsters to drive them off. It is typically best used when a Qurupeco is trying to imitate a call, or when another monster has you pinned - nobody likes having a monster chew their faces off. The monster Congalala is also able to throw its own dung at a hunter, inflicting a "soiled" status effect that temporarily prevents consumption of food or drink - your most reliable means of healing.
* In ''VideoGame/LiveALive'', the prehistoric chapter features a gorilla named "Gori" who can throw his own droppings to attack. They create poison fields.
* This is [[WebVideo/YouKnowWhatsBullshit the Bullshit Man]]'s main weapon in ''VideoGame/TheAngryVideoGameNerdAdventures''. It's weirdly effective, too.
* VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIV has a giant gorilla in Hullbreaker Isle that has the ability "Stool Toss" as its ranged attack.
* In ''VideoGame/ResonanceOfFate'', one "grenade" type weapon is a dog turd you throw at an enemy. It notes the damage is "mostly psychological".
* In ''Videogame/SouthParkTheStickOfTruth'', Shit Nuggets can be hurled at enemies to deal the Grossed Out status effect (basically Poison). Bonus points if it's taken from a toilet you took a dump in.
* In ''Videogame/SouthParkTheFracturedButWhole'', Old People will fling their colostomy bags at you during the mission at the retirement home.
* In ''Videogame/MotherRussiaBleeds'', Boris' taunt is to shit into his hand and fling it.
* The now defunct MMO ''Videogame/EarthAndBeyond'' had as one of its most powerful missile launchers, the Dung Flinger, as well as the less powerful but easier to acquire Dung Cannon. Both used the same ammo, missiles manufactured from, you guessed it, Giant Space Flea droppings.
* One of the possible assassination methods in ''VideoGame/CrusaderKingsII'' involves filling a building's basement with manure that then explodes. (This is ArtisticLicenseChemistry: [[http://www.motherjones.com/tom-philpott/2012/02/explosive-hog-farm-manure-foam Manure explosions in real life are believed to be due to factory farming practices that didn't exist until the 21st century.]] The explosion is due to methane from decomposition, but without the foam that sometimes collects due to current hog feeds the methane normally dissipates into the atmosphere.)
* The "slingshot" weapon from ''VideoGame/BattleBears Zombies'' has jackalope dung being the projectiles thrown at enemies.
* ''VideoGame/{{Bug|1995}}'': One of the mooks in the first world is a dung beetle, naturally it attacks by rolling a dung ball before kicking it, causing it to roll across the horizontal terrain until it falls off.
* ''VideoGame/HollowKnight'' has the Dung Defender. He is a dung beetle who lives in the SewerLevel surrounded by heaps of poop, so it's only natural he uses it as a weapon. He throws balls of it around the arena and also burrows underneath it to burst out and attack by surprise.
* In ''VideoGame/BestFiendsForever'', Tantrum’s attack, being a dung beetle, is to roll up balls of dung to cannonball launch at the slugs.
* ''VideoGame/EpicBattleFantasy5'' has its bears able to literally crap on you as an attack[[note]]Unless the [[AdjustableCensorship "Mature" setting]] has been turned off[[/note]]. Nobody takes well to being on the receiving end:
--> '''Matt:''' DO NOT WANT!! (Some of it went in my mouth...)
--> '''Natalie:''' What even! I'll never defend wild animals ever again.
--> '''Lance:''' So it's going to be one of the THOSE sorts of days again, huh? Well, okay then.
--> '''[[NatureHero Anna]]:''' That's a new one. Never had that happen to me before.
--> '''[=NoLegs=]:''' ?!?!?!
* The ''Soiled Trousers'' pants from ''VideoGame/GrimDawn'' are the result of ''someone else'' shitting your pants. It grants, yes, you guessed it, the ability to throw turds at the enemy.
* In ''VideoGame/DeathStranding'', the main character Sam is a repatriate, and that makes his blood and excretions dangerous to the [=BTs=]. Later on he gains the ability to create grenades out of his own feces to weaken [=BTs=].
* Crowrilla from ''VideoGame/FightOfAnimals'', being [[MixAndMatchCritters part-gorilla]], can throw feces that look like the poop emoji, complete with face.
* Some enemies in ''VideoGame/TheBindingOfIsaac'' are capable of crapping out little pieces of living poop (some of them even ''are'' larger pieces of living poop. One particular boss, Brownie, not only produces a whole bunch of these, but also lies down POOP MINES, which burst into poison gas and shoot corn pieces around.
** One particular boss, The Carrion Queen, has the ability to lay down pieces of Red Poop, which cause CollisionDamage and can regenerate a bit of time after being destroyed. For that reason she's considered ThatOneBoss.
** One of the items you can get is called "No. 2". It causes that, after shooting nonstop for a few seconds, Isaac with lay down a Butt Bomb, which is a bomb made of poop. Not only is it able to damage things the same way a usual bomb does, but it also causes small damage and confusion to all enemies in the room.
** Introduced in the ''Repentance'' expansion is an item called "Montezuma's Revenge". Similarily to No. 2, you have to charge it by shooting for a bit... after which Isaac will be propelled forward by what can only be described as a ''diarrhea laser'' that can damage enemies.
** Also, one of the MechanicallyUnusualClass characters introduced in ''Repentance'', [[spoiler: Tainted ???]], has this as his gimmick: instead of using bombs, he produces different kinds of poop which he then throws at his enemies. Yeah, this game has a lot of ToiletHumour.
* The hostile gang of monkeys from the sequel to ''VideoGame/ReturnToMysteriousIsland'' hurl ... something ... brown and sticky at Mina to bar her from crossing the temple chamber. Although it's not specifically ''stated'' to be poo, the monkeys are perched on bare ledges with no mud or other alternative ammunition to hand.
* ''VideoGame/IslandSaver'':
** There is an achievement called "Who Threw Poo?" that is awarded for firing poop at a Litterbug.
** Bankimal monkeys throw their poop [[ShownTheirWork just like in real life]].
* ''VideoGame/ViewFromBelow'': An enemy in the Fallen Temple, Turdy, drops pieces of poop in its attack animation. Hilariously, [[spoiler:the optional boss, the Beast, also has this as one of their attack patterns]].
* ''Videogame/ArkSurvivalEvolved'': ''Chalicotherium'' and ''Dinopithecus'' can attack by flinging their dung at the enemy. The latter's dung also has the ability to disable Tek-tier items.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Webcomics]]
* ''Webcomic/SchlockMercenary'' has a character who was illegally genetically modified so that his bodily fluids and excretions were explosives. He is given [[http://www.schlockmercenary.com/d/20010701.html privacy by the narrator]] in order to "Plant a Shaped Charge".
-->'''Major:''' It's as if the madman who modified him wanted to create not only an extremely dangerous mole agent, but also a perfect pun on the phrase "Secreted Weapons".
* In ''Webcomic/FlakyPastry'', the gang gets to fight an elemental Extrementor. "How can something made of feces move so fast?" "Diarrhea?"
* ''Webcomic/{{Erfworld}}'':
** Yellow Dwagons bombard enemies with "acidic battlecrap." They're not kidding about the "acidic" part, either.
** Also, [[DishingOutDirt Dirtamancers]] can create "crap golems," made from... go on, guess.
--->'''Sizemore:''' Well. You know. When life gives you crap, make Crap Golems, right?\
'''Bogroll:''' If only I could, sir. Believe I'd have a legion.
* In one webcomic (does anyone remember the title?) the main character ridicules the newest Pokémon edition for giving the protagonist a flaming monkey as a starting "fire" choice... and gets bombarded with flaming turds by the insulted mon.
* In ''Webcomic/SanThreeKingdomsComic'', Dian Wei executes his famous LastStand in Wan Castle by fighting with his dung buckets. It kinda explains why nobody wanted to get past him afterwards, because he stunk so much as a result.
* Happens as a one-shot gag in ''Webcomic/DominicDeegan'' -- Melna punishes the elemental changeling Neilen by giving him a [[http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2007-03-17 humiliating assignment]]--"find out if fire monkeys are a hazard."
* ''Webcomic/TwistedTropes'': VideoGame/DonkeyKong runs out of barrels and hits Mario with a giant poop.
* In [[http://comic.nodwick.com/?comic=2011-12-30 this]] ''Webcomic/{{Nodwick}}'', the villains are building an underground lair in an AbsurdlySpaciousSewer. The protagonists defeat them by flooding the lair with sewage.
** In [[http://comic.nodwick.com/?comic=2012-11-30 this]] one, a besieged town uses feces for catapult ammunition.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* This is something of a running joke whenever LetsPlay/HatFilms play ''VideoGame/GarrysMod VideoGame/{{Murder}}'' with other members of the LetsPlay/{{Yogscast}}, since Ross tells people to "eat shit" whenever he's the murderer. While game mechanics don't ''actually'' allow him to do this, he jokes that he's force-feeding the others feces.
* Several {{Mon}}s in ''Website/{{Mortasheen}}'' weaponize taking a shit. Usually, the waste matter is a HollywoodAcid (the aforesead mons will reingest their wastes in order to concentrate them to corrosive levels of chemical potency) or laced with a FesteringFungus, but one creature makes dirt with such force it's treated as a ''siege weapon.''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* Mentioned repeatedly (but thankfully never shown) by the chimps Mason and Phil the ''Franchise/{{Madagascar}}'' franchise.
* Homer one time got poo flung at him (''right in the face'') by an angry chimp that he teased by pretending to offer peanuts in a 2-minute short preceding ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons''.
** Implied in "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS9E21GirlyEdition Girly Edition]]": "And in schoolyard fights, the highly anticipated match between Kearney and Mr. Largo ended in a disqualification for use of dog-doo on a stick."
* ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'':
** While Butters is asleep, Cartman gives him a "Dirty Sanchez."
** Cartman also farts on the Son of Satan, whom the others shun by saying "you smell like a fart."
** Mr. Hankey is an expert at Dung Fu -- he has a brown belt.
** In ''[[Recap/SouthParkS10E12GoGodGo Go God Go]]'', Ms. Garrison uses this against Richard Dawkins (who's been hired to teach evolution at South Park Elementary after Garrison did such a poor job of it, mainly because she doesn't believe in the theory):
-->'''Ms. Garrison''': And if I'm a monkey, then I might as well act like a monkey, huh?! ''[starts acting like a monkey, then pulls down her pants and starts pooping into her hand]''
-->'''Richard Dawkins''': What on Earth are you doing?!
-->'''Ms. Garrison''': Don't ask me, i'm a fucking monkey! ''[throws feces at Dawkins's face]''
* In the Mars University episode of ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'', when Fry releases Gunter the intelligent monkey's parents on a fancy party:
-->'''Farnsworth:''' What's that they're flinging at us?!\
''[splat noises are heard off-camera]''\
'''Gunter:''' Oh dear lord! All over the dean!
* Referenced in ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'' movie "Abra-Catastrophe" during the part when the world becomes ruled by monkeys.
-->'''Wanda:''' (''after having something brown thrown at her face'') Please be mud!
* In one episode of ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'', Sandy's simian bosses ask her to build an automatic poop throwing machine.
* Referenced in ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice'' when Superboy is told he should be thankful that a monkey only threw a protein bar at him.
* British satirical TV show ''Series/SpittingImage'' ran a parody of ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles''. In this animation, the creatures living in a sewer and granted life by contact with radioactive waste became ''The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turds''. Their preferred method of attack? Read the page title.
* This is the Flea's SignatureMove on ''WesternAnimation/MuchaLucha''.
* Horat from ''WesternAnimation/TheNutshack'' likes to do this when he's annoyed.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse'': Lily, the youngest Loud sibling, has a tendency to use her own dirty diapers as a weapon when pushed, best exemplified by her Ace Savvy persona, the Deuce. Even after getting potty-trained in Season 5, she still does this on occasion, like in "Silence of the Luans".
* In ''WesternAnimation/Castlevania2017'', Trevor and Sopha at one point reminisce about [[NoodleIncident fighting flying demon goats that dropped flaming goat feces on them]].
* In "[[Recap/CloneHighS1E08ARoomOfOnesCloneThePieOfTheStorm A Room of One's Clone: The Pie of the Storm]]" of ''WesternAnimation/CloneHigh'', in the midst of Joan's and Cleo's turf fight, Cleo tells Abe that Joan has started acting "like a monkey in every way." At the same time, Joan throws a dubious brown substance that flies right past the couple.
* ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'': There are two instances of poop being weaponized.
** In "[[Recap/TotalDramaMillionDollarBabies Million Dollar Babies]]", Duncan and Courtney have to wrestle in an unsanitary ball pit wholesome bought from a cheap carnival. Among the things they find in it is a diaper dripping with poop, which Courtney forces into Duncan's mouth.
** In "[[Recap/TotalDramaMoMonkeyMoProblems Mo' Monkey, Mo' Problems]]", Max thinks he can intimidate a gang of monkeys into cooperating. Instead, they pelt him with a brown substance that Max assumes is mud, but which Jasmine assures him is not mud.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Real Life]]
* Monkeys. [[TruthInTelevision Yes, they DO fling poo]], and anything else they can get their hands on. Their poo-hurling habit became infamous in the days when zoo animals' exhibits were plain concrete boxes, offering them no alternative ammunition. Most zoos nowadays have enclosures that replicate the animals' natural environment, and are therefore less conducive to poo-throwing behavior.
* "Dung showering" by hippopotamuses. They release with a fair degree of force, but what ''really'' ramps up the revulsion is that they whirl their tails through the poo as it emerges, spattering it far and wide.

Prisons in [[UsefulNotes/TheTroubles Northern Ireland]] were the venue for "dirty protests", in which human excrement was used as a weapon against guards by Republican prisoners protesting against prison rules and regulations.
** This "corrections cocktail" behavior is specifically codified as a crime in every U.S. state.
* Human feces have been used to poison weapons throughout history.
** In Medieval Europe, archers in battle would stick their arrows into the ground rather than leave them in a quiver, preferably where they've done their business previously.
** {{Ninja}} may well have stood shuriken in sewage to ensure that any wound they inflicted would get horribly infected.
** So did the Viet Cong with their infamous bamboo [[BoobyTrap "punji" sticks.]]
** Dung was one of the ingredients the Scythians used in their arrow poison, along with putrefying blood and venomous snake corpses.
* One of the audience members at a Music/TwistedSister concert actually crapped out a turd and flung it at the band one time.
* One of the techniques used by Dutch farmers in their [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_farmers_protests 2022 protests against their government]] was to spray manure on government buildings.
