Fantasyland is an alternate dimension featured in [[JustForFun the movie of the same name released in 2015]].

!Description

Fantasyland was once one of the many [[TheMultiverse empty dimensions of our Multiverse]]. But in 1937, on the occasion of the release of [[WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs the movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves"]], the greatest comical or dreaming minds of our world began to ponder about the difference between he happy trouble-less world of cartoons, comic books, fairy tales and fiction in general, and our [[InsignificantLittleBluePlanet sad, depressively realistic and magicless everyday life]]. So, using [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools fiction tropes as their main fabric]], they filled an alternate dimension with comical, magical and sweet concepts that were supposed to be the best of what Man ever created when it came to fictional utopias.

!Tropes used by Fantasyland

* AnotherDimension: Fantasyland, which can be accessed via a magic label pen.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: The Princess of Fantasyland
* CapitalCity: Fantasy District, the capital of Fantasyland.
* FairyDevilmother: The Black Fairy, Queen of TheFairFolk from the UnholyGround and ambassador of all those who register as LawfulEvil, NeutralEvil and ChaoticEvil. Often comes to curse every [[MagicalSeventhSon seventh son of a seventh son]] of the royal family that is born. Implied to have been a former member of TheOldGods.
* FairyGodmother: The White Fairy, TheParagon ally of the [[PrincessesRule Princessdom]]. Often gives one blessing for every crowned princess that manifests in some magical skill. Implied to have been a former member of TheOldGods.
* FantasyKitchenSink
* MythologyGag: The magic label pen is based off of the Fantasyland pens sold at Disneyland.
* TheOldGods: Creators of the universe and the people that dwell there. The princesses that rule the place are descended from their chosen people. CosmicRetcon changes whichever pantheon qualifies as this (the Olympians, the Aesir, etc.)
* PrincessesRule: Fantasyland is a principality ruled by a princess.
* RideTheRainbow: Bifrost is the name of a flying ship made of pure rainbows bestowed onto the royal family by TheOldGods as an old vehicle that allows them to communicate with them directly. Has not worked in centuries, but when it starts working again with no explanation, it kicks off the plot.
* StandardFantasySetting
* TeleportationWithDrawbacks: The magic label pin can transport people to Fantasyland, but only if they are holding or wearing it. If they put it down, they come back to the real world.
* {{Tomorrowland}}: Tomorrow City
* ToonTown: Toon City
* WorldsMostBeautifulWoman: The Princess of Fantasyland, who is somehow a combination of all the fairy tale princesses, who are normally supposed to be [[WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs fairest of them all]] to begin with.
* CompositeCharacter: Several in-universe examples, such as the aforementioned Princess of Fantasyland, who is a combination of all fairy tales princesses; the several "tricky fox/coyote" characters who are all combined into Reynard the Trickster; all the Wicked Witches who are combined and lessened into the comically harmless Witch Hazel; Jack O'Lantern, who is a combination of his original, folklore self and [[WesternAnimation/TheNightmareBeforeChristmas Tim Burton's later reimagining]]; and so many more.
* CosmicRetcon: The magic that sustains Fantasyland allows the character's stories to be retconned as pleased in order to include new concepts invented since the Land's creation.
* ClockRoaches: The same magic also sends the Big Bad Wolf to any intruder who tries to mess up with the characters' stories and [[CosmicRetcon make the retcon himself]].
* AGodAmI: Some mythological divinities have been used too in Fantasyland, such as Neptune, Zeus, Râ… All of them believe themselves to be the all-mighty gods they are supposedly in their original myths. Actually, their power is somewhat limited, but the Authors (a.k.a. the persons from Earth who created Fantasyland and are the true men in charge) let them believe they ''are'' almighty because they feel better that way. Collectively referred to as TheOldGods. It is later implied that their pantheons and their cosmological origin stories are able to coexist through the CosmicRetcon.
* AllMythsAreTrue: They ''weren't'' originally, but some [[AppliedPhlebotinum Applied Phlebotinum]]allowed the Authors to ''make'' them true.

On how all this came to be: [[spoiler: Fantasyland is loosely based off a dream a Troper once had. It's like Tomorrowland from [[{{Film/Tomorrowland}} the movie of the same name]], only it's based off of fantasy.]]

* [[spoiler: {{Pun}}: The main reason for the existence of the "constructed with tropes as fabric" is obviously a pun on a real trope's name, TropesAreTool, taken literally.]]
