13	* While it also counts as a funny scene, Ajax hurrying his ship to join Achilles in the attack. Sure, he may be eager to bash some heads in, but he is also quite clearly concerned.
14	* Any of Achilles's scenes with [[MoralityPet his younger cousin]]. Arrogant, hot-headed, and brash, Achilles is most often portrayed as a warlord concerned with little more than battle and glory. But whenever Patroclus is shown, Achilles acts like a very different person and doesn't hesitate to show affection to [[BigBrotherInstinct the boy he helped raise from early adolescence]].

16	* Priam's speech about what Troy means to him. In the end, it makes his reaction to seeing it burn all the more heartbreaking.

18	** On that note, Agamemnon roaring in rage/anguish and starting the charge upon seeing Menelaus's death. As much as Paris was Hector's little brother, [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes Menelaus was]] ''[[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes his]]''.
19	** Prior to that, Menelaus gives Hector an opportunity to stand aside, all while addressing the prince by his royal title. He may be borderline foaming at the mouth and fully intending to let Agamemnon sack Troy anyway (which could be chalked up as simple obsession with getting revenge), but Menelaus ''still'' [[VillainRespect respects]] Hector as a WorthyOpponent.
20	* Hector and Helen's relationship is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Hector never says an unkind word to her despite her presence meaning the death of his people and even comforts her when she is wracked with guilt. For her part, Helen is visibly upset when he goes down to meet Achilles, and goes to comfort his beloved wife when he dies.
21	* There is a small look of pride on King Priam's face when he watches Hector dodge one of Achilles's jabs during their fight.
22	* Priam pleading with Achilles to give back his son's body and Achilles finally showing [[DueToTheDead Hector the respect he deserved]], even freely admitting to Priam that Hector was the greatest opponent he ever fought, and adding that Priam is a better king than Agamemnon.
