The language the islands themselves speak has evolved into two different languages that are almost mutually unintelligible accordig to Cypher, but the Krakoan language spoken by the Krakoan people is a conlang invented by Cypher – and recently. The Arakkii should be speaking something like a modern-to-them version of Coptic, which ought to be as different from Ancient Coptic as modern Italian is from Latin. |
