* Has Old Indy been officially ExiledFromContinuity, along with his daughter Sophie and various grandchildren (who only ever appeared in the Old Indy bookends)? The ''Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'' and ''Dial of Destiny'' movies would appear to indicate that this is so, as both make it clear that Indy only has one child (Mutt).
** It's also worth noting that ''Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Guide'', a reference book published in 2008 to coincide with the cinematic release of ''Crystal Skull'', makes no mention of Old Indy and Sophie, although various aspects of ''Young Indiana Jones'' are mentioned and depicted therein.

* In ''[[Recap/YoungIndianaJonesSpringBreakAdventure Spring Break Adventure]]'', Indy and Frank leave their bags behind when they go into Columbus; before they do so, it's shown that Indy's journal is in his bag. The Pancho Villa raid follows, with Indy ending up in Mexico as a result. So how does Indy have his journal in Mexico and during his subsequent adventures?

* [[Recap/YoungIndianaJonesAndTheMasksOfEvil General Targo]]. WTF?
** He's a vampire who believes that he's the reincarnation of UsefulNotes/VladTheImpaler, which (if true) would technically mean he's {{Dracula}}. Even if he's not, he's still a vampire, and a particularly sadistic one.
** The confusing thing is not that this shows that vampires exist in the [[Franchise/IndianaJones Indyverse]], which is home to all sorts of supernatural and paranormal phenomena (even more so when you get into the comic books and novels). What's odd is that the ''Young Indiana Jones'' series totally downplayed that in favour of having Indy take part in real historical events and interact with (a lot of) [[HistoricalDomainCharacter real people]]. The exception is his Transylvanian adventure, which comes out of nowhere and is very much the show's BizarroEpisode as a result.

* Concerning the above, since when did vampires have the power to make people [[SpontaneousHumanCombustion spontaneously combust]]?
