* The scientists of the {{Franchise/Pokemon}} universe unknowingly countering all of Xlestia's attempts of conquering them through subtle means.
* Every scene in ''Potion Testing'' is hilarious.
** The first attempt at making the Ponification Serum turns a man into a dragon because they used too much powdered gemstone. [[OhCrap The Equestrian onlookers start backing out of the room because the potion is intended to induce the mindset of the new race of creature, and dragons start growing at a rapid rate if they're overtaken by greed]]. Sure enough, this happens.
** Before the second attempt, Twilight says they went through the potion with a fine-tooth comb. [[LiteralMetaphor A Deer holds up the now filthy comb they used]].
** The third attempt has the potion diluted with water so the transformation doesn't kick in too early. When the potion turns the subject into a "mer-pony", Twilight says a potion making someone part-fish because water was added should be impossible because [[MagicAIsMagicA that isn't how magic works]]. It turns out a Deer switched out the sunflower oil with fish oil because he thought the former smelled terrible. His partner gives him a DopeSlap.
** The fourth attempt turns the subject into a Zebra. After Zecora and the subject get into an argument in rhyme, Twilight realizes Zebra rhyming is involuntary. The result of the test is marked down as "close, but no potatoes".
** Attempt number five turns the subject into an Earth Pony, but also subjects them to a GenderBender. The subject just thinks their pony body is making them sound like a girl and wonders why everyone is giving them funny looks. This test's result is "not gonna touch this one".
** Twilight makes a human potion to restore the subjects of the failed tests to normal, unaware that Xlestia wanted the humans to be ponies permanently; the humans end up requesting equal amounts of Conversion and Reversion Serum. Xlestia's response is to drill a hole in the wall for her horn and [[WallBang start banging her head against it]].
** The {{omake}} has the subject from the fifth test become a female ''anthropomorphic'' Earth Pony. [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom One of the human scientists cheers and runs off with the notes on the Anthro Potion]].
%%* Much of Xlestia's interaction with other characters is funny.
* The girls getting the idea to battle Windigos Franchise/GhostBusters style!!!
* How did the [[Franchise/{{Halo}} UNSC]] get Xlestia to leave? By continually bombarding the barrier so Xlestia would not be able to sleep until she left. The cherry on top? The last ship to make the run was the UNSC ''Ponies Go Home''.
* Both Batman appearances are both this and awesome.
** [[Series/Batman1966 Adam West Batman]] curb-stomping Xlestia with InsaneTrollLogic!
** Justice League Batman's plan to psyche out Xlestia by constantly spying on her from outside the barrier, just to remind her how screwed she is once the team’s magic experts get the barrier down.
* One of the reader requested scenarios was Equestria vs. the planet Neptune. Not any fictional world, the real-life uninhabited gas giant. [[spoiler:Neptune wins.]]
* Much of the story in general, but particularly the Straightforward Failure [[note]] Brief FanFic universe chapters.[[/note]] and World Suggestion chapters.[[note]] Series of short stories, focusing on popular demanded worlds. [[/note]]
** The scene where Canon!Luna and Discord are trying to figure out what has gotten into Xlestia. Special note goes to Discord drinking her experimental potion, causing ''the potted plant next to him'' to turn into a very confused pegasus.
--->'''Xlestia:''' That was my only prototype...
** Xlestia is gloating over deploying the Barrier, when [[Franchise/TouhouProject a blonde human with a parasol]] pops in and steals the whole thing like it's a bolt of fabric. And then, she discovers exactly why the human world doesn't have any magic. [[RetGone First hoof.]]
** Xlestia shows up at [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirls Canterlot High]] and force-feeds Principal Celestia the conversion potion, only for the principal to turn into a physical duplicate of the alicorn. Xlestia decides to leave, commenting that converting everyone would result in having doubles of all the ponies.
** Two versions of Equestria show up on Earth at the same time: Xlestia's, and Celestia's from the original ''Conversion Bureau'' fic. While their alicorn rulers argue with one another, the barriers surrounding the Equestrias make contact and merge, resuting in one giant barrier and both countries floating into the sky like a soap bubble. The captain of a fishing boat that witnessed the event asks if anyone recorded it happening.
** This exchange with Saitama "One Punch Man"
---> '''Saitama''': ...what are you?\
'''Xlestia''': I am here to save these people from their foolish lives of needless hurt and suffering! (Leans her neck back and glares down, to give the impression that she is towering over him.)\
'''Saitama''': Ah-ha! You're a political activist!\
(A millennium of practice at not reacting to idiocy was the only reason Xlestia managed to remain upright on her hooves.)
** Even funnier when you remember that this isn't Saitama being silly- he has actually [[ContinuityNod encountered a political activist group with nearly that exact philosophy, the Paradisers]].
* Xlestia manages to invade and convert a Hive World from TabletopGame/Warhammer40000, getting an additional 12 billion ponies to her forces. So how does the massively genocidal, xenophobic, vengeful and fanatical Imperium of Man react to the fact that heretical xeno scum that uses profane magic to get their way have taken over one of their Worlds and diverted the population from the glorious ways of The Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind? Even to Xlestia's surprise, [[UnknownRival they simply don't care and hardly even notice]]. And for two simple reasons. The first being that the Imperium of Man is so gigantic that a defenseless Hive World of [[WeHaveReserves a measly 12 billion people means nothing to them]]. The second reason, which our tyrant finds out the ''very'' hard way right after her victory, [[HordeOfAlienLocusts The Tyranids]] have already come for an [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown all-you-can-eat pony-buffet]].
* [[Literature/HarryPotter Dumbledore's]] plan was to drink some liquid luck and try to talk Xlestia out of the whole convert-the-world thing over a cup of tea. ''It worked.''
* The WesternAnimation/CaptainPlanet section ends with Xlestia tied to a chair and forced to listen to an AndKnowingIsHalfTheBattle summation.
