!!Advance Wars
* "Kanbei's Error?" introduces two rather classic lines in the AW community. Seriously, you can't call yourself a true AW fan if you didn't [[{{Corpsing}} corpse]] to these lines on your first playthrough:
-->'''Andy:''' What's an airport, again?
-->'''Kanbei:''' ''[[[IdiotBall says without realizing he put his base at the worst possible location]]]'' Oh, ho ho ho! Look what I have found! A base for Kanbei's troops! I shall deploy a mountain of troops!
** And to make things better, in ''[=ReBoot=] Camp'' the developers clearly knew what they were doing when they decided to have Andy's iconic line be fully voice acted.
* Again regarding ''[=Reboot=]'', "Sonja's Goals" continues from Sami's mission against Sonja which revealed that Sonja had left Andy to "converse" with a recording of her. The introduction tells us OnceMoreWithClarity the snippet that Sonja showed Sami, and at least one Let's Player has made a comparison to [=ChatGPT=] technology. What's more, the recording's responses to Andy are the equivalent to a bored man telling his girlfriend or wife to "tell me more" without actually responding. By the end of the mission, Andy still hasn't actually let go of trying to get someone to take him seriously about his tools (no innuendo intended).
* Complete "Wings of Victory!" as Sami, and you get a dialogue between her and Eagle that pretty much consists of the two of them hardcore dunking on [[TheDitz Andy]]:
-->'''Sami:''' Look who you're accusing! Andy couldn't pull off anything that complicated.[[labelnote:Context]]At this point, Eagle thinks Orange Star, led by Andy, attacked and laid waste to Green Earth.[[/labelnote]] You suspect this kid who has his hands full just getting dressed?\
'''Andy:''' Um... Excuse me?\
'''Eagle:''' Well, it's not really a face that shines with intelligence.\
'''Andy:''' Hold on a...\
'''Sami:''' Exactly! Andy spends the entire day not thinking of things!\
'''Andy:''' All right, that's...\
'''Eagle:''' If you put it that way, it's hard to imagine Andy pulling it off.\
'''Andy:''' You guys are mean!
* Due to some kind of programming oversight or glitch that started in ''Advance Wars 1'' and carried over into ''Advance Wars 2'', Yellow Comet never uses their Transport Copter model in the battle animations and uses Orange Star's model instead. This problem was finally fixed in ''Dual Strike''.
* Proving that Kanbei is ''always'' a goldmine, his Morale Boost in ''Re-Boot Camp'' has him posing dramatically with a Japanese fan... and while most other powers have their own unique way of highlighting the units they empower, this one instead causes Kanbei's entire army to hop up and down, ''applauding and cheering''. One can imagine his "performances" are a regular thing his troops look forward to.
* ''Re-Boot Camp'' [[VariableMix gives each CO a variant of their theme while their CO Power is active.]] Andy's becomes ''electronic rave music''. It's as hilarious and strangely awesome as it sounds.
* One of Andy's first lines of dialogue in ''Re-Boot Camp'' is asking what a strategy is. He'll claim he's kidding if you refuse Nell's hint offer, but considering it's [[IdiotHero Andy]]...
* The Challenge Campaign version of "Copter Tactics!" in Re-Boot Camp removes the transport copter that's normally used to send an infantry to capture Olaf's HQ, resulting in this change to the intro dialogue:
-->'''Nell:''' Examining all of Olaf's units, I think we only have one viable option.
-->'''Andy:''' [[LeeroyJenkins Throw everything we got at him!]]
-->'''Nell:''' Well... Yes, actually. [[DumbassHasAPoint That's about all we can do without a transport copter.]]
* In ''Re-Boot Camp'', Clone Andy likes whatever Andy likes, but unlike the real Andy, his clone dislikes ladybugs. Why? Because Clone Andy finds them scary.
* Clone Andy's battle portrait when he loses a unit in ''Re-Boot Camp''. His eyes white out and his mouth hangs open in a pretty silly way.
* In a meta sense, the game was delayed so long that if you had tried to redeem My Nintendo Gold Points for it right when the game came out, it would tell you that the redemption period has expired (which is a year from the game's release date). Fortunately, Nintendo fixed this oversight rather quickly.
* When Andy beats Olaf for the first time, Olaf vows to get revenge on Andy, which prompts him to ask who Olaf is. Before Olaf can answer, Andy quickly assumes he's Nell's papa (GBA version) or grandpa (Switch version), which gets Olaf mad at him for being such a smart ass.
--> '''Andy''': How can I mark your words? I don't even know your name.
--> '''Olaf''': My name? I am known throughout the Orange Star Army as...
--> '''Andy''': Nell's papa/grandpa?
--> '''Olaf''': [[DelayedReaction That's right. Nell's...]] Wh-What?! NO! That's what I get for being nice to children! No respect!
* In Andy's "Max Strikes!" mission, Max knows Andy isn't that smart and says he can ask him for help if he needs to know about his water units, which are [[CaptainObvious "in the water, without tires."]]
--> '''Max''': Okay, kid. Do you think you can keep up?
--> '''Andy''': I'm not a little kid! I'm a CO in the Orange Star army! I can keep up just fine.
--> '''Max''': Uh-huh. Let me know if you need help with your sea units. Those are the ones in the water, without tires.
--> '''Andy''': I know plenty about boats! Bunches! I don't need any help with sea units. Wait... Or do I?
!!Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
* In the mission "Toy Box" in ''Re-Boot Camp'', Blue Moon's forces find a secret Black Hole document in an abandoned building. Grit takes a look at it and tells Olaf it's a map to the enemy's lab. Olaf immediately orders Blue Moon's forces to rescue the dog post-haste and give it a bath and a good meal. Grit has to point out he meant a lab'''oratory''', not a lab'''rador'''.
-->'''Olaf:''' Hmph! I would have preferred a puppy.
* The end of "Two Week Test" in ''Re-Boot Camp''. Grit's first question for Colin [[https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/are-ya-winning-son is if he's winning, complete with "son" at the end]].
* In Black Hole Rising, Sami becomes a DamselInDistress in the mission "To the Rescue" by becoming surrounded and trapped by the titular villain faction. Rather than put up with it quietly, her response to their demand to surrender is implied to be so severe that the grunt reporting to Eagle has to resort to ''writing it down'' instead of verbally repeating it. Eagle laughs at whatever the message says and simply calls her "outspoken".
-->'''Sami:''' Right, here's my reply, and I want you to take this down word-for-word...
** Even better, in ''Reboot Camp,'' Sami ''laughs'' at the offer of surrender before presumably cursing Adder out, amused by his audacity. By this point in the campaign she's well aware he's more or less a resourceful but ultimately HarmlessVillain.
* Andy calling Sturm [[{{Understatement}} a jerk]] when he threatens to use the self-destruct button to blow up everyone.
** After Hawke saves everyone, Andy wants a party with cake and ice-cream.
* In ''Re-Boot Camp'', Hachi's CO Powers plaster "50% Off!" and "Sale!" signs all over the screen.
* Also in ''Re-Boot Camp'', when Sturm becomes available to buy in the shop, Hachi will let you know as usual... then Sturm pops up.
-->'''Sturm:''' I will not be bought like a mere toy.
-->'''Hachi:''' Sure ya will! I've got the ticket, and rules are rules!
* Unlocking the Macro Land Challenge Campaign in ''Re-Boot Camp'' costs 2 coins, compared to the one coin of the Cosmo Land version. That time, Hachi took back the coin afterwards. When you buy this one, Hachi says ''he actually is making you pay this time''... before refunding you again and saying he was just kidding.
!!Advance Wars: Dual Strike
* The mission that allows players to build Black Bombs starts off with an absolute gem. Lash is apparently playing a game that sounds [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall suspiciously like Advance Wars itself]], with Hawke getting NotSoAboveItAll and scolding her for it. Once the Allied Nations get there, Lash starts the battle by ''directly saying'', "Let's start the game!"
* There are ''several'' funny moments during the feast cutscene after "Crystal Calamity".
** First off, Sensei manages to ''forget who Grimm is'', and Rachel has to remind him that Grimm's another Yellow Comet [=CO=], just like him. Sensei promptly remembers and goes off to find him.
** Meanwhile, Grimm himself is trying to get [[HeroicSelfDeprecation Colin]] to be more confident. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working.
** One of the last bits is Jess trying to get Lash to eat properly, including teaching her how to properly use a fork, implying that Lash is an [[JabbaTableManners incredibly messy eater]].
* Almost everything that [[LargeHam Javier]] says is hilarious. Some highlights include referring to Kindle as the "witchiest of witches" and practically squeeing over Comm Towers in the mission against Kindle and [[spoiler:Clone Andy.]]
* Gameplay example. Tag-teamed [=COs=] have affinity ratings based on how well they work together, and some teams are so bad they get firepower ''penalties'' instead. Which two have the worst tag affinity in the game, at a whopping ''-35% firepower''? Rachel and Koal. The reason? ''[[FelonyMisdemeanour He insulted her face]]''. Now bear in mind that the other negative affinities include Olaf and Lash (she destroyed his hometown) and the Green Earth [=COs=] and Hawke (he invaded Green Earth in the last game). The now-defunct fan site Black Hole HQ put it best:
-->Wrecked hometown? Nope. Destroyed country? Nope. Called ugly? OH YES.
* Another tag example: Von Bolt gets tag penalties with pretty much ''every Allied [=CO=] in the game''. The only characters that he isn't penalized with are the Bolt Guard, Flak, and Adder, with whom he's completely neutral instead of getting a direct bonus. That's right. Von Bolt hates everybody, and everybody else hates Von Bolt, ''that much''.
* For a meta example, the website Website/{{Cracked}} [[https://www.cracked.com/article_23564_how-game-thrones-ends-eerily-predicted-by-video-game.html made this article]] that predicted how Series/GameOfThrones would end using ''Dual Strike'' as a simulator. Despite the A.I. having no knowledge of how the series played out, the author of said article notes that the ''Dual Strike'' portrayal of Season 5 played out ''exactly the same'' as it did in the show.
!!Advance Wars: Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict
* Almost anything that comes out of [[DeadpanSnarker Lin's]] mouth. She'd need her own folder if everything was listed.
** After [[spoiler:Brenner's death and the 12th Battalion's temporary escape from Greyfield]], Lin and Will have a talk about [[spoiler:him talking over as the figurehead leader because he appears more likeable than her and that's important for morale considering their circumstances.]] Towards the end, she repeatedly calls him [[spoiler:Commander]] to force him into compliance.
* A variety of the War Room (the hint system, not to be confused with the side battles in the Wars World games) scenes in Days of Ruin counts as this. They include Tabitha forcing Will to become her servant, Mr. Bear telling Penny to help Will, and Greyfield fleeing at the sight of Lin. Also, everyone, including Cyrus, telling Will to listen to the foe's advice on the Great Owl level.
** Mission 4 has ''the Beast'' providing tactical advice. Much to Will's confusion.
** Mission 6 reveals that Lin is the brains of the Brenner Wolves. She has to give Brenner notes to help Will and then Brenner learns too late that he wasn't supposed to reveal that.
* Speaking of The Beast, his LargeHam way of speaking makes for hilarious moments, especially in the aforementioned War Room segment. Hint: Imagine him as Wrestling/HulkHogan.
* The mission "Crash Landing" is a mostly serious (and [[ThatOneLevel often frustrating]]) affair, except for the generic enemy soldier's reactions to your tanks and rockets, and her attempts to get people to pay attention to the fact that the Great Owl is dropping. Eventually, she decides to [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere get the hell out of Dodge]] and grab a parachute. Turns out, it's actually a sleeping bag. "[[OhCrap ...Ah, crap]]" is right.
