* Episode 1:
** We get Ishtar falling out of the sky and landing (thighs-first, as expected of Rin) [[CrashIntoHello on Fujimaru]].
--->'''Fujimaru:''' Hi, I'm your cushion.
* Episode 2:
** The show finally gives us an animated version of Fou beating the crap out of Merlin. Furthermore, Fou broke away its PokemonSpeak tendencies just to say "DIE, MERLIN!!"
** You have Dr. Romani trash-talking about Merlin and warning Fujimaru that he's useless in combat. It's even more hilarious that Da Vinci is on the background, drinking from her coffee mug with a deadpan look on her face.
*** Even more hilarious when you remember that Romani is Solomon, '''''Grand Caster.'''''
** As Merlin brags about his skills and how he'll make every other Caster superfluous and that they ought to shift off to the backline, ''all Chaldea staff in the control room'' turn to get a look at Da Vinci's reaction. Even better, Dr. Romani copies Da Vinci from earlier, drinking from his coffee mug with a deadpan look on his face.
* Episode 3:
** Ishtar goes into what can best be described as a {{Tsundere}} rant after Gilgamesh mocks that she cares about other people when she tells Fujimaru to stand aside so she can fight Gilgamesh.
** Gilgamesh considers Ishtar's visit, which includes smashing a hole in his ceiling and attacking him directly, to be a mere "nuisance", as if the hostile goddess were an annoying neighbor.
** Before her departure, Ishtar mocked Gilgamesh to be [[HypocriticalHumor half-naked]]. '''''[[{{Stripperiffic}} Ishtar]]''''', of everyone.
** Fujimaru tries to explain the importance of his quest and the necessity of finding the Singularity's Holy Grail. Gilgamesh responds by ''pulling out said grail'' from the Gate of Babylon and blunting stating Fujimaru can't have it because the human doesn't deserve ''any'' of his treasures.
** During the heroes' first dinner at the newly-christened Chaldean Embassy, Leonidas -- who had previously declared he was swearing off alcohol until victory was achieved -- ends up UnsuspectinglySoused and goes on a ridiculous ramble about the perfect ratios of fighting and rest. His body language further accentuates the hilarity.
** The montage of mundane tasks from episode 3 contains a fair few [[FunnyBackgroundEvent Funny Background Events]].
*** While Fujimaru and Mash are making mud bricks, [[HandsomeLech Merlin]] can be seen talking to a woman behind them. This happens again while they and Ana are harvesting wheat.
*** As they're shearing sheep, [[NotSoAboveItAll Ana]] can be seen [[CutenessProximity nuzzling an unshorn sheep]].
*** Ana again; this time using Harpe, a weapon created to kill immortals, to [[MundaneUtility harvest wheat]].
** Merlin teases the ShipTease between Fujimaru and Mash by stating they should use their day off to go on a date. The two awkwardly begin to try to react and discuss it, only for [[DullSurprise Ana]] to walk down and interrupt it, much to their relief.
* Episode 4:
** Merlin's exhaustion in the jungle due to his [[BadassLongRobe outfit]].
** Jaguarman in general.
** Funnier still when you remember [[Anime/CarnivalPhantasm this isn't the first time]] Taiga has blown the budget on her nonsense.
* Episode 5:
** Gilgamesh sneaking into Mash and Funimaru’s wagon for the sake of entertainment, causing Siduri to pick up the slack of paperwork.
** When Da Vinci sees what’s going on while monitoring in Chaldea, she chastises Romani for hogging.
*** Even funnier when Creator/ErikaHarlacher voices Da Vinci, while Creator/XanderMobus voices Romani, who are respectively the voice actors of [[VideoGame/Persona5 Ann Takamaki and Joker]], which isn’t out of character if you were to think about it.
** In previous ''Fate'' adaptions, The Gate of Babylon, as wielded by Archer-Gilgamesh, was an overwhelming and unstoppable technique. Even other Servants with SuperToughness and auto-revive abilities would eventually be worn down by it. Then we learn that the real Enkidu, Gilgamesh's best friend, considered it "the ultimate waste of energy". King Gilgamesh speaks of it as if it were something his buddy regularly teased/scolded him about.
* Episode 6:
** When Ishtar (actually Ereshkigal, but none of the heroes know that) wakes up after being knocked out, her first words are to ask if it's evening already, then rather cheerfully tell them all "good morning."
** Ushiwakamaru goes to talk to Fujimaru on the roof of a building, and he gets embarrassed when her {{Stripperiffic}} clothing shows off her boobs, causing him to slip and nearly fall of the building. Furthermore, Ushiwakamaru herself seems completely oblivious of the situation.
** Ana gets excited by a new mission and goes to pack. Not long afterwards, she comes down with a pile of stuff half as big as she is strapped to her back only to be told that they're not due to leave until the next day.
* Episode 8:
** When staring down "Tiamat" at first, Merlin steps between the cast and the massive goddess as he tells them to let him handle her because he's immortal. But the second "Tiamat" reveals her [[TakenForGranite Cybele: Eyes of Petrification]], Merlin's attitude takes a complete 180 and he runs behind Fujimaru and Mash and tell them to protect him.
* Episode 9:
** During the approach to Ishtar's temple, Da Vinci shuts Dr. Roman up at one point by putting him in a headlock.
** The entire scene set at Ishtar's temple on Mt. Ebih, where the heroes are trying to bribe Ishtar with gems to join forces with them. Ishtar spends the entire scene swinging back and forth between ''hardcore'' craving the gems and being suspicious because it seems too good to be true. In the process she makes some [[https://i.imgur.com/QUXaz9S.png amazing faces]].
** Immediately afterwards, Ishtar asks Ritsuka to make a contract with her... by kneeling and kissing the top of her (partially bare) foot. His face is [[{{Squick}} appropriately horrified]] but Mash is jealous as all hell.
* Episode 10:
** Throughout the entire episode Ishtar is irritated from the people around her from Gilgamesh and later Jaguar Warrior thus making some amazing faces.
** [[RefugeInAudacity The sheer panache of Jaguar Warrior openly kidnapping the soldiers]] (she's literally walking around in Quetzalcoatl's wake picking up their bodies and putting them in a large basket on her back) is so mind-boggling that the protagonists have no idea how to react.
** After easily dodging thrown Ana's scythe, Jaguar Warrior cheerfully greets the heroes before the spiked end of the scythe's chain hits her head. Jaguar Warrior nonchalantly continues talking as blood spurts out of her head.
** To give Jaguar Warrior time to escape, she calls her [[{{Mooks}} Werejaguars]], which is shown as a bunch of them running from the side to face the heroes before they stop as they make their in-game animations. The show just cuts to the heroes in front of Gilgamesh, not even bothering to show how they were defeated.
** When the heroes return to the forest to face Quetzalcoatl, Jaguar Warrior stands in front of them as she tries to give a BadassBoast as everyone except Mash ignore her and walk past her. This happens two more time as Jaguar Warrior runs to face them again and restart her speech as they ignore her again.
** When Jaguar Warrior gets in her face, Ishtar shoots her with a small magic blast, leaving a burn on her forehead. Jaguar Warrior insists that it doesn't hurt, with an expression that clearly suggests otherwise, followed by Jaguar Warrior complaining that even Servants [[AscendedMeme die when they are killed.]]
** After Jaguar Warrior joins the party we cut to Ana giving her a deadpan glare while repeating "Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill." in a whisper after Jaguar Warrior calls her the "loli gal".
** Fujimaru recruits Jaguar Warrior as an ally by awkwardly flattering her with comparisons to the monsters. Not only is Ishtar [[FunnyBackgroundEvent still completely unamused]], Mash confusedly asks how those are compliments at all. Jaguar's reaction? The scene cuts to some [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything completely unsubtle shots]] of [[SomethingElseAlsoRises flowers dripping with moisture]] as she ''[[FurryReminder yowls]]'' [[TheImmodestOrgasm in the distance]].
--->'''Fujimaru:''' Jaguar... Your fur is as soft and silky as a Demon Boar. Your eyes are round as a Gazer. You're entirely too beautiful!
--->'''Jaguar Warrior:''' ''*gasping, panting*'' MEOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! [[MoodWhiplash And now I'm your ally!]]
** Mash clearly [[ClingyJealousGirl was not okay]] with the Fujimaru's method of recruit Juguar Warrior. After the latter officially joins the team, Mash's tone while welcoming her is completely dripped with venom despite the smile on her face.
--> '''Mash:''' It's great to have you here Jaguar Warrior. I'm master's ''official'' servant.
--> '''Jaguar Warrior:''' Right, I get the feeling that you're actually a super horrendous girl.
** After Siduri comments how at the rate things are going with Quetzalcoatl's attacks, Gilgamesh's side project will likely be effected, Mash questions if he's been working on something in secret. He contemplates how to answer and is immediately called-out on it after all he offers is a [[BlatantLies "No?"]].
* Episode 11:
** During the fight against Quetzalcoatl, she gets Jaguar Warrior in a pile driver which causes Jaguar Warrior to think "Ah, I'm dead" just before her head hits the ground. Afterwords Jaguar is sticking head first in the ground with both Ishtar and Ana saying that she's out of the fight.
** When Quetzalcoatl hugs Fujimaru as she announces she's changing side, you can see [[ClingyJealousGirl Mash]] pouting.
** When Quetzalcoatl orders Jaguar to take the Axe of Marduk, Jaguar whines that she want to be with Fujimaru where the action is. Quetzalcoatl reveals her jagged teeth and threaten to skin Jaguar if she doesn't listen which changes Jaguar's tone right away.
** At night [[ClingyJealousGirl Ishtar (actually Ereshkigal)]] comes again to talk to Fujimaru and then pinches him on the cheek for getting Quetzalcoatl on his side.
* Episode 12:
** At the start of the episode we have Gilgamesh being the most [[{{Pride}} Gilgamesh]] since the start of the anime. After finishing the blueprints for a new weapon he designed he goes all prideful over his genius when Siduri praises his work. When she even suggests he could be an architect, Gilgamesh simply jokes she should stop as he might seriously consider it.
** Roman refuses to believe that Gilgamesh died from overwork because that means it could happen to him.
** Ishtar's plan to get into Kur? Use Maanna, the bow of Heaven to blast a hole into the Earth while Mash uses her shield to protect her and Fujimaru from the energy as they fall into the hole. All Fujimaru can do after they've successfully arrived in Kur is ask why is Ishtar like this to her embarrassment.
** The seven gates leading into Kur are meant to test the worthiness of an entrant's soul, and so ask [[BlatantLies completely logical and unbiased questions]]...at the first gate, Ereshkigal asks who Fujimaru considers more beautiful, her or Ishtar while unsubtly hinting he should say it's her.
*** Ishtar grabs onto Fujimaru and gives a classic Rin CheshireCatGrin to wordlessly threaten him to say it's her (or else). After Fujimaru fearfully answer "Ishtar!", she starts gloating that ''of course'' she's the most beautiful, causing Ereshkigal to shoot a bolt of lightning frying Ishtar.
*** Mash's reaction makes it better:
--->'''Mash:''' [[SincerityMode This is an extremely difficult question!]]
** The way Ereshkigal speaks through the gates is also worth a laugh. [[NightmareRetardant She draws out her words like a ghost at a haunted house]], and when the first gate opens, the cuneiform on the gate light up with [[AnachronismStew a ding that wouldn't be out-of-place on a game show]]. Those familiar with Ereshkigal from the game can tell [[{{Adorkable}} she's clearly trying too hard]].
** We then skip past the second to sixth gate and see that Ishtar has shrunk as more of her Divinity is taken when passing through each gate. By the time the party reaches the sixth gate, she's small enough to ride Fou with Fou giving her the stink eye.
** Fujimaru is exhausted by playing, what he refers to as, "[[Series/WhoseLineIsItAnyway Whose Goddess Is It Anyway]]".
** How does Gilgamesh avoid Ereshkigal's guards? He hid in the shadows, held his breath and meditated, and then Presence Concealment.
** Gilgamesh starts laughing when he sees just how small Ishtar is and picks her up by crown while Ishtar gives the silliest faces yet. And after having his fun, he states the seventh gate's answer is obviously "me" (Gilgamesh) before the gate even asks a question. The gate immediately says wrong as a result, "It...Is...Not...You", [[AnachronismStew followed up by a game-show "incorrect" buzzer]].
* Episode 13:
** Ishtar manages to keep Fou safe by carrying him. Despite having been shrunk until she's ''smaller'' than him. The image of a tiny Ishtar carrying Fou through the air is very amusing.
** Ereshkigal's reaction to being told that Fujimaru knew all along that he was talking to her, not Ishtar, in their nightly talks is for [[LuminescentBlush her entire face to turn completely red]].
--->'''Ereshkigal:''' "W-W-W-Wait! You knew all along that it was me?"
** Ishtar calls Ereshkigal an airhead. [[HypocriticalHumor She's really not one to talk]].
** Just for some BlackComedy, the sheer MoodWhiplash of "Ziusu-dra" [[StealthHiBye popping out of nowhere]] and [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe bisecting Ereshkigal lengthwise]] without any warning ([[MomentKiller just as Ereshkigal was having a warm moment]] with Fujimaru--and making it look like [[ShaggyDogStory she was killed after all your efforts to turn her]]). Considering it was a beneficial act all along, you do wonder why he had to do it that way.
** Ereshkigal {{Adorkabl|e}}y shaking hands with Fujimaru to signify their cooperation. You can tell from her entire demeanor that she's feeling ''really'' bashful about touching him, and not only does it take her a few moments to work up the nerve to do it, but she also tries to not look at their hands while they're touching. Fujimaru somehow completely misses this and soon puts his other hand on hers to give her a hearty two-handed handshake, which is something Ereshkigal can barely process. She goes into LuminescentBlush again and then just ''stares'' at her hand once the handshake is done.
** Gilgamesh's [[SeenItAll utter nonchalance]] at being resurrected (and on top of Siduri's beleaguered grieving of him):
--->'''Gilgamesh:''' That was my third descent into the underworld. How about you get used to it by now?
* Episode 14: During the strategy meeting for Gorgon's upcoming attack, the heroes make a plan: Quetzalcoatl will use her divine strength to throw the utterly gigantic Axe of Marduk near Gorgon's Blood Fort, and afterward Merlin will levitate it and drop it on the Fort. (Quetzalcoatl can't directly hit the Fort, because she's bound by an oath not to attack the other Goddesses.) After Quetzalcoatl throws the Axe, Merlin nonchalantly alters the Axe's flight path so it directly strikes the Blood Fort. Quetzalcoatl is hit by lightning for breaking her oath (she would have been straight-up killed, but since she broke the oath unintentionally, she got off lightly).
-->'''Merlin:''' [[BlatantLies Oops, my hand slipped!]] ''[very deliberately throws his staff toward the Blood Fort, redirecting the Axe]''
-->'''Quetzalcoatl:''' [[GratuitousSpanish Suiciiiiidaaaaaaa!]]
* Episode 17:
** Gilgamesh asks for Jaguar Warrior's assessment of Tiamat using her animal instincts. She gives it...then starts imitating Tiamat's singing as she saunters out of frame.
** After the chaos caused by the Lahmus and Tiamat's awakening, Ereshkigal calls up Gilgamesh to ask him what's going on. She does this by shouting in the Underworld, making it seem like her voice is coming up through the floor.
** Gilgamesh calls up a mirror to talk to Ereshkigal, who doesn't immediately realize he's done so. When she does, she steps out of frame, makes some vocal exercises, and then haughtily reintroduces herself.
--->'''Mash:''' [[LampshadeHanging Ereshkigal, you're being so formal all of a sudden!]]
*** For extra laughs, pay attention to Ereshkigal's feet. She doesn't just try to shuffle ''backwards'' out of frame while trying to look composed, she actually ''moonwalks'' on her raised heels [[FreezeFrameBonus for a second there]].
** When Fujimaru and Gilgamesh arrive at the idea to drop Tiamat into the underworld, Ishtar and Ereshkigal have the same reaction -- a simultaneous, incredulous "EEEEEEHHHHHH!?" and are ''identical down to their facial expression''. Creator/KanaUeda in stereo, anyone?
** When Fujimaru and Gilgamesh ask Ereshkigal to open a hole to the underworld in Uruk, she says that it would normally take ten years. When Fujimaru questions her use of the word "normally," she reveals an uncomfortable truth:
--->'''Ereshkigal:''' Actually, since I hate Uruk, I might've been plotting something the whole time, so give me three days, and it'll be ready!
*** When Mash says Ereshkigal is amazing, the goddess of death says that it was worth cursing Uruk every night, which Ishtar calls her out on.
*** Gilgamesh's reaction: His eye starts twitching, and when he ends the call, he says he and Ereshkigal need to have a talk later.
** After Gilgamesh dismisses the mirror, Fou is shown patting the ground where it was.
** Tiamat will arrive in Uruk in two days, while Ereshkigal needs three days to finish her work. What's Gilgamesh's idea to buy that time? For Ishtar to summon Gugalanna, the Bull of Heaven. As the others all excitedly talk about awesome the Bull is (Fou even starts ''dancing''), Gilgamesh can be heard laughing throughout their dialogue. When Ishtar finally tearfully admits she lost it, Gilgamesh, [[StunnedSilence after he's done processing it]], yells at her and makes her carry a tablet that says, [[LoserDeity "I'm a useless goddess."]]
*** When Ishtar first admits to the above, everyone stops being excited, except Jaguar Warrior. [[FunnyBackgroundEvent Quetzalcoatl nonchalantly punches her out of the frame]].
*** Also, the writing on the tablet is in Japanese. We then get a shot of Mash holding a marker, implying ''she'' was the one who wrote it.
*** When Ishtar realizes Gilgamesh intends to use Gugalanna, we get a shot of her eye widened and her pupil colored black.
*** Meta: Readers of ''Literature/FateStrangeFake'' get an extra laugh (or shot of dread) from the fact that Gugalanna was stolen from Ishtar by that world's Ishtar in her attempt to exact vengeance on her Gilgamesh. This is likely how it also escaped Gilgamesh's Clairvoyance.
*** Romani and the rest of the Chaldea staff back at headquarters all enter varying stages of frustration, either slouching in their seats or hanging their heads in disappointment. Leonardo simply says she's going to make coffee.
*** Of special note is writer of ''Literature/FateStrangeFake'' Ryohgo Narita's [[https://twitter.com/ryohgo_narita/status/1228693981690642433 twitter response]] to this.
-->''Totally ....... Where the heck did Ishtar lose it? I wonder. I wonder.''
-->''It's really strange. .....! ! (:avoids looking anyone in the eyes)'' #Babylonia
* Episode 19 is mostly action and drama, but there are some humorous bits:
** When Ereshkigal attacks Tiamat right after she enters the underworld, she gets [[https://i.imgur.com/uUio3Bv.png a little bit too smug.]] But when Tiamat regresses to her Jurassic form, [[https://i.imgur.com/WBsmdU8.png it goes right out the window]].
** When Merlin returns, Fou greets him with an outright ''hostile'' look. It's quite comical to see coming from a RidiculouslyCuteCritter.
* Episode 20:
** After killing one of the Lahmu with a blast from his staff while it was blocking his sword, Merlin notes that Altria fell for this trick often. The image of Altria getting repeatedly blasted by flowers because she apparently kept falling for the same trick is pretty funny.
** The last of the Lahmu tangle with King Hassan. After stabbing him a few times, they giggle as usual... and then have a cathartic [[OhCrap reaction]] and demise as King Hassan tears them apart with his ''teeth''.
* Episode 21:
** Fujimaru and Mash find Quetzalcoatl and Jaguar Warrior when they wake up. Just before Quetzalcoatl and Jaguar Warrior disappear, Quetzalcoatl talks about what she first said to them. [[ClingyJealousGirl Mash]] thinks back to Quetzalcoatl's marriage proposal while Fujimaru realizes she meant that she would destroy Uruk.
** Fujimaru and Mash find Ishtar and Merlin waiting in their Chaldea embassy. When Merlin goes to make tea, Mash states that they met Quetzalcoatl which causes Merlin to freeze. Then she adds that she said she wanted to put him in various joint locks, which sends him into IllPretendIDidntHearThat mode. Eventually, he puts on a show incredible cheerfulness when it's revealed she already left.
*** The same scene features some heavy PassiveAggressiveKombat between Dr. Roman and Merlin. The banter just keeps flowing, as do the laughs. It's even funny on meta level when you remember that [[Creator/KenichiSuzumura Kenichi Suzumura]] and [[Creator/TakahiroSakurai Takahiro Sakurai]] are best friends in real life and as a result it's very easy to watch them argue like it's two friends giving one another ''tremendous'' amounts of shit. Not to mention hearing Creator/RobbieDaymond and Creator/XanderMobus butt heads tend to ring a lot of bells for Persona 5 fans, alluding to Akechi and Joker’s rivalry.
** When Ishtar mentions that she's going to stick around until at least the end of the Uruk dynasty, she kicks it into MoodWhiplash at the very end by [[BrickJoke mentioning that she has 20% of the gems in Uruk's treasury to do with as she will,]] catching Fujimaru and Mash both off-guard. This is extra funny for people who have done Ishtar's interlude in the game, as they know that Gilgamesh finds a way to weasel out of paying her.
