* In the episode "All Halliwell's Eve", Phoebe gets told that her true love's name will start with a C. At the time, Phoebe thinks it refers to Cole. However at the end of the series [[spoiler: Phoebe marries ''Coop'' whose name also starts with a C]].
** Further. '''C'''lay, '''C'''ole, and [[spoiler:'''C'''oop]] were arguably her most influential romances (Clay before the series, Cole in the middle, [[spoiler:Coop at/after the end]]). There are '''three''' of them. '''C''' is the '''third''' letter of the alphabet. Phoebe is the '''third''' of the Charmed sisters. Is anybody else seeing [[RuleOfThree a pattern here]]?
*** She's also married 3 times.
*** Also the man she thought would be her future husband was '''Dex''', and D comes after C. No wonder it didn't work out! She also gets a false positive on a pregnancy test with him.
** Similarly, when Phoebe is using the spirit board in the first episode, Piper asks ā€œWill Prue have sex with someone other than herself this year?ā€. The first letters spelt are ā€œATā€, then she stops to call Piper and Prue in before it finishes the word ā€œatticā€. But AT is also the initials of Andy Trudeau - someone Prue has sex with ā€¦ within weeks.
* In the ''Series/Charmed1998'' universe, a warlock is a witch who breaks the Wiccan Rede and uses their powers for evil. The real world term originates from an Old English word meaning "oath breaker". Having "witch" mean good and "warlock" mean evil, instead of "witch" meaning female and "warlock" meaning male, is one of the few cases of ShownTheirWork in this show witch-wise.
* Phoebe seems to know instantly what her first premonition is. As she had been up all night studying the book, she knew what the three Charmed powers would be, and guessed that premonitions were hers. And as she was giving Patty them while she was pregnant, it's likely she had them as a child too, so they would feel familiar to her.
* Piper admittedly uses her first freeze for personal gain - completing her audition recipe that she should have already finished. Well the backfire comes in the next episode, where Chef Moore leaves Quake and she has to deal with everything.
* Billie is seen as having too much gravity because of the show's focus on her story as well as the many feats seen on her part which were never hinted at being feasible at least by any non-Halliwells before. But aside from the side story focus not being terribly much greater with her than it was with the likes of, say, Cole, her and Christy's story has involved a terrible lot of calling out the Charmed Ones over shirking their duties for their personal lives even as far back as that being what convinced them to drop their false faces and lives. Thus, it all makes sense. Aside from Kaley Cuoco portraying her like this was one of her sitcom characters half the time (which she can't really be faulted for as it's the ones behind the scenes who cast her in this role yet didn't write to her strengths), '''everything''' that makes Billie appear Sue-ish, from her outdoing the Charmed ones at demon hunting early on to [[spoiler:her and Christy suddenly being the Ultimate Power and almost matching them]], wasn't because of how she was this great, nigh-unstoppable prodigal super witch. It was her determination to do good and hunt down demons, especially due to [[spoiler:her sister's kidnapping, plus the Triad's [[ManipulativeBastard manipulation]] of everyone involved]], versus the sisters' increasingly single-minded determination to fulfill their dreams getting in the way of their Wiccan call of duty (to the point, as mentioned above, where they changed face hoping to completely skip out on their world-saving job). The Charmed Ones' experience with Billie was a cautionary tale about the consequences of neglecting duty.
** The comics revealed that [[spoiler:Prue's presence was holding the Power of Three back during the Ultimate Power battle as well]]. In other words, [[spoiler:one former GodModeSue practically just helped another ''be'' one]]. Destiny must be an even more powerful force than believedā€¦
* When Wyatt is evil in the original future Chris came from, he speaks with a vaguely British accent that he doesn't use when he is good. Why does he use it? Because he turned evil because [[EvilBrit Gideon]] [[WellIntentionedExtremist kidnapped him as a child.]] He subconsciously absorbed that this was what evil sounds like.
* In 03x01, Cole tells the demonic judge, 'Free Willy' he'll "take it from here" before promptly vanquishing him. Later on, we find out he's here to destroy the Charmed Ones like Free Willy was.
* In the starting scene of "Sympathy for the Demon" Phoebe (now infamously) misspells her own name. That could be now seen as a hint that reality wasn't what it appeared to be.
** Actually, Phoebe misspelled her name on the real divorce documents (which would probably render them null and void) when she signed them at the end of "A Witch's Tale, Part Two". The fact that the divorce papers needed to be signed again was the hint that Cole was hallucinating.
* It seems a bit strange that it took ''so'' long for Paige's HealingHands to kick in, especially since the trigger is [[ThePowerOfLove love]] and it's not like no one she loves was ever seriously wounded, particularly during seasons six or seven, where you would expect her to be far enough along in her power growth to be able to access her last Whitelighter ability. However, when Piper switched powers with Leo in order to heal him during the first Darklighter episode, she is unable to do anything until she admits that she loves him. Paige's healing ability doesn't kick in until Henry is dying in her arms and she has no way to save him. Judging by the look on her face, it seems pretty clear that, if she didn't suspect it before, she knew right then that she loved him. So, basically, it seems that if a person isn't a full Whitelighter, they don't have the same strength of love in them to use the Whitelighter healing power until they've found the love of their life and ''admitted it'', either out loud or just to themselves. (Note that Piper and Leo's son Wyatt, who is a HalfHumanHybrid of the exact same vein as Paige, can use the healing ability at birth, however as he's TheChosenOne and can do a ''lot'' of things that normal witches, hybrid or not, should be unable to do, he's not really a fair factor.)
** Also before when she first tried healing. In "Charmed & Dangerous" she was able to heal Leo by tapping into his powers as well. She did love Leo somewhat at that point so that probably helped her do it then.
* A meta example. The third season finally features Prue being called out on a lot of her tendencies, as well as not dominating the majority of storylines.
* The sin episode. Piper gets infected with Gluttony and instead of overeating, she demonstrates more of the original Biblical definition of the sin; she overindulges by buying excessive ornaments, clothes and jewellery without a thought to her finances. It's also further separated from Greed by having Piper order things like champagne and having flowers delivered to herself.
** Before the hostage situation and Prue discovers that she's infected with Pride, there are subtle hints to it earlier on. She lectures Piper about her finances - wanting to show off her maturity and sense. She also doesn't object to Piper not coming along - giving herself more of a chance to show off her selflessness. She also immediately assumes that she wasn't infected.
* Billie [=MacGuyvering=] up a potion with normal ingredients. It could be a manifestation of her projection power, willing the stuff to work magically.
* Piper's power initially being classed as 'freezing time' and then later to freezing molecules. The Charmed powers were used by Melinda Warren in the 17th century. In-universe example of ScienceMarchesOn. Of course a woman in the 17th century would have no idea about molecules and would assume she was stopping time. This reveal also explains why Piper is able to selectively freeze things - along with being able to only freeze certain parts of someone's body.
* Why does Paige get telekinesis as her powers? Because there are only three Charmed powers and with multiple children they seem to go - telekinesis, freezing, premonitions. She was born when the three other powers had already been distributed, so it was just starting from the beginning again. If there had been another sister, she would have gotten freezing.
** It seems like there's some evidence that Wyatt has some form of Piper's power in the future in "Imaginary Fiend", and we also see Chris having telekinesis at various times. Maybe things got changed around since they broke the chain of girls in the family? Or they have multiple powers.
*** I'm sorry, I just meant that with the sisters' generation it just went in that order. Wyatt could have gotten freezing first, and Chris telekinesis.
** If you look back at the previous generations, Grams had telekinesis and Patty got freezing. Grams might have a sister (Patty mentions naming Phoebe after her "favorite aunt," but doesn't clarify whether she was a witch- she could have been a paternal aunt or more distant relative simply called "Aunt Phoebe"), but it's pretty clear that Patty herself was an only child. If the powers cycled in any specific order across generations, Prue, as the next in line, would have received precognition. Melinda Warren's prophecy about the Charmed Ones specifically stated that they'd be three sisters with those three specific powers. Having two seers and one freezer wouldn't have met that qualification. The Powers That Be or Destiny or some other nebulous controlling force out there probably ensured that they'd have the back-up that they needed.
* Patty's theory about substituting the Power of Three in "That 70s Episode". Just after Phoebe was first conceived, Piper and Leo came from the future to have them recreate the Power of Three (with Penny from further on in time) to [[spoiler: vanquish the Hollow for good]]. Although she was returned to her time to just before she was taken (erasing her memory of it) perhaps she still had some deja vu about it - which is where she must have gotten the idea from.
** That was quite different, though: in "That 70s Episode", Patty was tapping into Phoebe's own powers and just channelling them, rather than re-creating the Power of Three in a cross-generational way. It was the three sisters all along, with Patty acting as a proxy.
** Conversely, how could Piper, Patty and Penny substitute the Power of Three when Penny had telekinesis but both Piper and Patty had time freezing? Patty was channelling unborn Phoebe's premonition power, thus completing the set anyway.
* In "Charmed & Dangerous" the Seer's line "I didn't do this for your future. I did it for mine" seems like she just helped them to secure a future for all people - mortals and demons. However as the season progresses we learn that the Seer's master plan was [[spoiler: to impregnate Phoebe with the Source's child and take control of the baby to inherit the powers]].
* How do the Charmed Ones suddenly have a lot of knowledge about upper-level demons in the Book of Shadows? Well they do have one living in the house in Season 4. It's possible a lot of the entries in the Book of Shadows come from what Cole knows. He's bound to know what a good few of them look like - their strengths and weaknesses etc.
* It's been noted that the shear number of things threatening to turn Wyatt evil starts to look a bit ridiculous, but consider: in season 1 it was mentioned that Phoebe is more vulnerable to temptation than the other three because she was the only one born in the house, which gives her a stronger connection to the Nexus. Wyatt was also born in the house, giving him the same connection to the Nexus as Phoebe, and the same vulnerabilities. Compare to his brother, who was born in a hospital, and his sister and cousins, all of whom were born after the Nexus had been destroyed.
* The entries added to the Book of Shadows by the sisters (like the Woogyman spell) are plain-looking text compared to the exquisitely illustrated earlier pages; yet, some spells they created, such as the Source vanquishing spell, or entries like the Fairies (which was said not to be in the Book in Season Three) have the same artistic style as the older pages. How is that possible? Well, even though it wasn't mentioned on screen ever since, in Season Four Paige was established to be a paintress: she might have been the one to illustrate the new pages.
* Although the sisters are wished dead in "I Dream of Phoebe", they're never in danger of moving on and remain ghosts, with Piper able to be restored to life by Leo healing her subconsciously. It was established when Phoebe was a genie that, while they have to grant any wish their master asks for, they can tweak it through LoopholeAbuse (as Phoebe only makes Piper and Leo fall asleep when Chris wishes for them to "sleep together"). Richard made it so that they were OnlyMostlyDead and could easily be revived later.
* In "Just Harried", Grams told Piper that the women in the family keep their last name of Halliwell, which doesn't make sense for two reasons: 1) if that was the case, then the family name should still be Warren, and 2) Grams herself changed her last name from Johnson to Halliwell after marrying her first husband, Alan. However, it does make sense when one considers that Grams wasn't talking about the Warren Line as a whole, but just her specific branch of it, and it was her way of keeping the memory of Alan, who was her one true love, alive.
* Billie's mother states that she had no magic, but her mother did. So they are a witch family, and Helen's magic skipped her generation. And that's why Billie and Christy are the Ultimate Power - they got both their own powers and the magic Helen should have got. So they have enough magic for three witches, giving them power comparable to the Charmed Ones.
* "Wicca Envy" shows the sisters' powers being restored when Leo uses his to heal the Book of Shadows. But in Season 4, he doesn't mention this when Phoebe has a premonition of the Source getting the powers. Well, Rex and Hannah were ''working'' for the Source - and he was surely remembering how they failed. So him already being in Piper's mind would mean he could take control of the powers much faster before anyone else could intervene.
* Why didn't the Halliwells get sent to Magic School when their powers were awakened? When Paige is appealing to keep the school open in Season 7, she says it is traditional for families to pass down their knowledge to their children and that the kids at Magic School aren't lucky enough to have that. So the school is designed for young witches who might not have family that can teach them, whereas the Charmed Ones could learn from the Book of Shadows and a whitelighter guiding them. And they probably couldn't protect innocents very well if they were in Magic School all the time learning.
* A couple regarding the Ultimate Power.
** In the Halliwell family, it's traditionally the oldest sibling who's the most powerful. Prue got the strongest powers of her sisters, and Wyatt is more powerful than Chris. But in the Jenkins family, it's actually the youngest who's more powerful. The demons however assumed it would be the eldest, so that's why Christy was kidnapped. This is further reinforced in the comics, where it is revealed that the rule of the firstborn being the strongest has been consistent for around two-hundred thousand years, so there was ''really'' no reason for anyone to assume that this time would be any different.
** The Ultimate Power is never mentioned until Season 8, especially not when the Source was in power. That's because a) the Ultimate Power was prophesized to be a force of great good, and the Triad's kidnapping of Christy was to brainwash her into evil, and b) Christy was seven when she was kidnapped, and doing the math with Billie's age (she's old enough to be in college but too young to drink, so 18-20) puts her at 10-12 in Season 1. Her powers didn't awaken until much later in life, so she never registered on anyone's radar for years. Paige for example only used her powers once at sixteen and made it to her mid-twenties not even knowing she had magic, and the Elders never suspected her. The Source found out about her before they did.
* Why is there no spell to vanquish the Banshee and only to track her? Because good witches are sometimes turned into them, so the ancestors would have wanted their descendants to be able to save one if they came across her.
* Why is Paige initially repulsed by the Prince from "A Knight to Remember"? As the fairy tale is actually a memory of her past life, she knows deep down that he's been mind-controlled by the Evil Enchantress and her instinct is to not want to take advantage of someone she knows is under a spell. Further setting her apart from the Enchantress, who wanted to essentially rape the Prince to conceive his heir.
* Paige has very few mourners at her fake funeral in Season 8, which seems odd since she was seemingly close with her co-workers back in Season 4. Remember in Season 5 when she mentions that her friends think she left her job for no good reason? It's likely she had to avoid too much contact with her old friends so as not to get into awkward questions about why she left the job. The exception is her friend Glen, who of course knew she was a witch.
* Paige was able to sense that the Billie and Christy challenging them in the Manor first in "Kill Billie Vol 2" was just an illusion. Not just because of how openly they walked into an attack; she's still Billie's whitelighter, so she could sense that it wasn't the real Billie.
* Phoebe never receives a premonition about Cole throughout his first seduction of her. Why? Because it was her destiny to redeem him through love, and therefore deprive Evil of a valuable ally, which she wouldn't be able to do if she knew he was a demon straight away. And Cole wouldn't have fallen in love with her for real had the reveal happened earlier, and been persuaded to change sides.
* Piper's reason to pursue Dan over Leo makes a lot of sense considering the BadFuture she saw in "Morality Bites", where she and Leo were unable to make their relationship work. Getting first hand confirmation that there was a scenario where they didn't work out likely spurred her to try a romance with someone else.
** And when does her relationship with Dan start to fail? After "Pardon My Past", where she finds out that she and Leo were lovers in their past lives.
* Two in "Brain Drain":
** In Phoebe's premonition of the Source stealing the Charmed powers, he uses Paige's to orb the Book of Shadows and Piper's to blow them up. He never uses Phoebe's. In "Charmed & Dangerous", he says "your power was always the weakest, hardly worth taking".
** Piper is surprised when the alternate reality Paige says that she constantly compares her to Prue, and she actually seems hurt when she says "I've never said that". In the show itself, Piper was cold to Paige at first because she was afraid of opening up to someone else because of the hurt that might result, not because she compared Paige to Prue. But of course [[EvilCannotComprehendGood the literal source of all evil wouldn't understand that complex human emotion]], and would just assume that Piper compared her to her predecessor.
* In "Charmed Again Part 2", the suspected abuser the Source of All Evil tries to tempt Paige to kill turns out to be innocent -- he was actually covering for his wife's abuse. This implies that the thing that would turn Paige to evil wasn't just murdering a human with her magic, it was murdering an ''innocent'' human. It makes sense that the Source of All Evil wouldn't pick an actually awful person for Paige to kill.
* All the sisters have an artistic side; Prue; a photographer, Piper; a chef, Phoebe; a writer, and Paige; an artist. This makes since in the context of magic being tied to ones emotions. While the sisters are stubborn, they are also passionate, sensitive, and creative.
* Why is a whitelighter/witch union such a taboo? Because whitelighters are good by default and only receive their powers for that reason. Witches however could go either way and as shown in the BadFuture, evil Wyatt still has whitelighter powers for orbing. So children born from a whitelighter-witch union would have whitelighter powers naturally and would keep them even if they chose evil, and thus would be able to orb 'up there' and possibly hurt or kill Elders.
* The utopia in "Charmageddon" still has plenty of people who aren't affected by the spell, and Phoebe and Piper are able to fight it off relatively easily with some prodding. Well, it was said that killing Beta weakened the collective, and the Avatars had to start the spell sooner than they intended because of it, so the spell was incomplete to begin with.

[[AC:FridgeHorror]]
* ''Charmed'' has a particularly dark case involving Penny (the Charmed Ones' grandmother) dying. Before she died, she had made a potion to strip the sisters of their powers permanently. It was quite lucky she died before she gave it to them, wasn't it? Almost as if some higher power had a hand in her death such as the Elders maybe? Given that Penny was going to de-power the most powerful good witches in the world, it's almost definite the Elders stepped in and killed her before she got there.
* Speaking of the Elders, after Gideon's assistant found out about Gideon's evil plan, Gideon blasted him into a pile of ashes to keep him from talking. Bad enough on its own, right? But this happened at Magic School, which is magically enchanted so that nobody can die there. Even if you're beheaded, you still remain conscious and aware as long as any part of your body remains on the school's grounds. So as long as even one speck of that guy remains embedded in the carpet... [[AndIMustScream yikes]].
** Then again it's ''Charmed'', one of the greatest violators of the LawOfConservationOfDetail.
** And Gideon may be exempt because ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem.
* An in-universe example in "Be Careful What You Witch For". Piper and Phoebe recall a story in which an abusive boyfriend attacked Prue and how the situation enraged Grams. Piper notes the boyfriend disappeared not too long afterwards. In the spirit of the trope, something that she didn't know then but now does (Grams being a witch) makes Piper consider there was a supernatural reason for his disappearance.
* In Season 5's "Sense and Sense Ability," the Crone foresees Wyatt's future and is downright terrified by it. ("I've seen everything!") It seems like it's just because Wyatt is a Halliwell - a de-facto force for good and a powerful one at that. But then Season 6 reveals that (before Future Chris's time travel trip) Wyatt grows up to be a GodModeSue that [[BadFuture ruins the world]].
* In the Book of Shadows, Shax is described as the Source's personal assassin and is assigned only for the top assignments. I highly doubt killing a mortal paragon of good counts as a top priority and sending Shax could be considered over kill. Now killing the Charmed Ones is a different matter. The Source's real goal was to send Shax after the doctor and, knowing the Charmed Ones, have them go to rescue him and get them killed in the cross fire. He could have even have manipulated Phoebe's vision (that she mentioned early in the episode) to ensure they would be involved.
** FridgeBrilliance: The Seer has shown she's able to manipulate Phoebe's premonitions. Perhaps she had a hand in it?
* For anyone who's also an anime fan. Compare the [[NightmareFuel hideously]] [[BodyHorror creepy]] season 1 MonsterOfTheWeek Masselin to the PhilosophersStone as presented in ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist''. Good God, we are so lucky Masselin was ''not'' a BigBad.
* See how in love Penny and Allen are in "Witchstock". After his death it's established he became TheLostLenore and Penny became the famous demon hunter. However remember that losing Allen caused her to become bitter and cynical towards men - having five more failed engagements and four failed marriages. She ultimately died alone and still bitter over losing Allen.
** Although HeartwarmingInHindsight since she and Allen are probably TogetherInDeath.
* The numerous times Prue gets lectured about not diving so heavily into her witch duties. She really should have listened shouldn't she?
* The premonition of all the deaths Phoebe gets in "Charmageddon". Two of them are ones she didn't already see - Penny and Chris. So in addition to having to relive the other deaths, she also had to see her grandmother and nephew die for the first time.
* Not quite sure if this is best classified as "Fridge Horror", but it certainly gave this troper some: the scene in "The Power of Three Blondes" where the 3 titular blondes magically [[spoiler: usurp the sisters' identities and then start coming on to Chris]]. Towards the end of the episode, one of the [[spoiler: fakes]] asks her sister, the one who's [[spoiler: stolen Phoebe's identity]], if she slept with [[spoiler: Chris]]; he says "yes". This despite the fact that as far as under-the-spell [[spoiler: Chris]] is concerned, the woman in question is [[spoiler: his BIOLOGICAL AUNT WHOSE CARE HE GREW UP UNDER]]. A quite credible argument for the idea that his relationship to the Charmed Ones wasn't conceived by the writers until after the start of the season it happened in.
** Or he was lying- earlier in the episode, Chris acts a little disturbed when Fake!Phoebe is hitting on him (this is before he figures out that she's an impostor) and even firmly tells her that "I'm really, REALLY not interested." He was almost certainly lying about sleeping with her because by then he had figured out she was an impostor and was trying to create discord. Note that Fake!Phoebe denies sleeping with him, and given that the other Stillman sisters believed Chris without any evidence in spite of their sister's denial, there wasn't really any reason for him to actually sleep with Fake!Phoebe.
* In "Crimes & Witch Demeanors", Piper proposes busting Darryl out of jail so he can escape his execution. He refuses to become a fugitive because he's a cop. Then you remember that the Cleaners made him think he actually did kill the man, and removed any memories of magic even if there wasn't a need to, so Darryl thinks he actually did break the law. The Cleaners basically {{Mind Rape}}d him into believing he deserved to die for something he didn't do.
* Leo's murder of Gideon is especially drawn out. The first assumption is that Gideon as an Elder is just really hard to kill, but then you realise, the act had to be "a great evil". So part of that is making sure Gideon suffers for as long as possible.
* Cole's whole storyline in the fifth season. While demonic powers have been shown to corrupt even the Haliwells in the past, giving the sisters a justifiable reason to be concerned about him going back to evil, how much of what happened to Cole could have been averted if even one of the sisters had been willing to give him a chance to properly atone for the events of the previous season? Add in that everything he did then was because he was possessed by the Source rather than Cole having become the Source on his own, and his death becomes the result of the Haliwells basically suffering from BlackAndWhiteInsanity, finding it easier to condemn Cole as evil rather than accept him as being trapped in a morally grey area.

[[AC:FridgeLogic]]
* The Book of Shadows contains descriptions of many unique demons and warlocks, often together with a spell and/or potion to vanquish them. Which raises the questions:
-->a) Why they haven't been vanquished by previous Halliwell witches?\
b) How do they know that said spell/potion will actually work?
** Probably the biggest excuse through the course of the show: The Power of Three. The spells worked to wound or weaken the demon, but the Power of Three worked as something of an amplifier to push the power of the spell or potion over the top. Many spells were described as a "Power of Three Spell," which makes them sound like only a trio of witches could do them effectively.
** Also, perhaps one of their ancestors looked into the future and took notes?
** Key word here is "vanquish", which mean "To defeat or conquer in battle; subjugate." Not to outright destroy them, but simply to defeat them. Some of the so called vanquished demons return frequently (Cole, Barbas). And at least one of them is explicitly said that has not recovered from the last vanquish he suffered (Tempus, in the Season 3 finale).
** We actually see how this works in the Season 3 finale: Phoebe casting the Shax vanquishing spell on her own doesn't kill him, but wounds him enough that he's forced to retereat.
* Is it just me, or does Piper seem to forget that she has the power to freeze after she fully develops her exploding power? I understand that it's easier to just blow up a weak demon on the spot, but from season 4 onwards, she hardly ever freezes anything, even when it would be extremely useful. I remember several occasions when she was fighting demons/other creatures strong enough that her power of combustion couldn't fully blow them up, only annoy them or slow them down, and she just continues throwing small explosions at them to slow them down instead of freezing them, which would be much easier and smarter. Could be justified if they were also strong enough to resist her freezing power (as several strong demons have been known to do) but she doesn't even try it. ForgottenPhlebotinum perhaps?
** ForgottenPhlebotinum annoyed me in nearly every single episode of Charmed. How many times they could have defeated the Demon / MonsterOfTheWeek within minutes...
** [[ForgotAboutHisPowers Forgot About His (actually Her) Powers]] is what you're looking for hereā€¦
** Upper level demons were more resistant to her freezing power. There were some demons it didn't work on at all. However they can't be immune to her explosion power. It was a better strategy trying an offensive attack that had more of a chance of working than trying a power that they might be resistant to.
** Likewise pretty much every single villain that wanted to kill the Charmed Ones ForgotAboutHisPowers instead of just teleporting in the middle of the night and attacking the sisters when they were sleeping.
** Piper's ability to freeze something or make it explode is really the same power: manipulating the speed of the target's molecules. Anything that's immune to one is immune to the other. At least the explosions have the potential for splash damage.
* A minor quibble with "Centennial Charmed". If Cole lost his Avatar powers when he created the alternate reality, when he was vanquished and his spell was reversed, shouldn't he have immediately regained his Avatar powers once more, thus been able to reassemble himself from nothing?
** He shouldn't have even lost his Avatar powers in the first place. If he was limited to just Belthazor's powers in the alternate timeline, he wouldn't have had anywhere near the power to maintain such a powerful spell, and reality should have snapped back to normal immediately.
*** The Avatar powers were collective, rather than individual. Probably, he bound the Avatar's collective power to the spell, which kept it going even after he personally lost access to it. That would explaing why it took them another year and a half to resurface and put their plan into action.
* During Leo's [[DrunkOnTheDarkSide crusade]] [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge against evil]] during Season 7 at no point does it occur to anyone to point out that Wyatt seeing his severely pissed off father solve problems by simple blasting them with lightning, might be the very thing that caused him to turn to evil in the first place. After all, they only ''assume'' that Gideon's betrayal was the sole event that turned him to evil and made him a sociopath.
** Furthermore, we later see even minor events such as his teddy bear being cursed are capable of shifting his morality, to the point where even Vicus lampshades how quickly he fell to evil. As demonstrated several times over the course of the series, the future tends to ''always'' be in flux, so why do they continually assume that Good Wyatt is permanently here to stay?
** The long-term thing is key here. Wyatt turned evil because he was forced to defend himself against Gideon's attacks for months. It's likely he was forced to kill Gideon himself too. In the new timeline he may have seen Leo kill Gideon but he was still surrounded by a loving family almost immediately after. And they could have removed his memories of seeing the event if they were that worried. For the teddy bear, the thing here was that the demon slowly corrupted him. Future Wyatt turned evil because the future had been changed to if he had grown up with the demon in the toy whispering in his ear.
* Admittedly a very minor one, but still. In the finale, old Leo and Piper are already prepared in advance to meet their past selves. Which is fine, but... we never hear them say exactly what day or even ''year'' that was. So are we to understand that as soon as they become "old enough", they are going to sit at that table and play Scrabble ''every single day for years'' in case it's that one?
** Well they're extremely old by that point. So possibly they're taking things easy, and playing Scrabble might be a daily activity. Or more simply, the day they end up deciding to will be the day that it happens.
