* Why is a whitelighter/witch union such a taboo? Because whitelighters are good by default and only receive their powers for that reason. Witches however could go either way and as shown in the BadFuture, evil Wyatt still has whitelighter powers for orbing. So children born from a whitelighter-witch union would have whitelighter powers naturally and would keep them even if they chose evil, and thus would be able to orb 'up there' and possibly hurt or kill Elders.
* The utopia in "Charmageddon" still has plenty of people who aren't affected by the spell, and Phoebe and Piper are able to fight it off relatively easily with some prodding. Well, it was said that killing Beta weakened the collective, and the Avatars had to start the spell sooner than they intended because of it, so the spell was incomplete to begin with.

*All the sisters have an artistic side; Prue; a photographer, Piper; a chef, Phoebe; a writer, and Paige; an artist. This makes since in the context of magic being tied to ones emotions. While the sisters are stubborn, they are also passionate, sensitive, and creative.

* In "Charmed Again Part 2", the suspected abuser the Source of All Evil tries to tempt Paige to kill turns out to be innocent -- he was actually covering for his wife's abuse. This implies that the thing that would turn Paige to evil wasn't just murdering a human with her magic, it was murdering an ''innocent'' human. It makes sense that the Source of All Evil wouldn't pick an actually awful person for Paige to kill.

** In the Halliwell family, it's traditionally the oldest sibling who's the most powerful. Prue got the strongest powers of her sisters, and Wyatt is more powerful than Chris. But in the Jenkins family, it's actually the youngest who's more powerful. The demons however assumed it would be the eldest, so that's why Christy was kidnapped.

But in the Jenkins family, it's actually the youngest who's more powerful. The demons however assumed it would be the eldest, so that's why Christy was kidnapped. This is further reinforced in the comics, where it is revealed that the rule of the firstborn being the strongest has been consistent for around two-hundred thousand years, so there was ''really'' no reason for anyone to assume that this time would be any different.

** Well they're extremely old by that point. So possibly they're taking things easy, and playing Scrabble might be a daily activity. Or more simply, the day they end up deciding to will be the day that it happens.

** Some forms of time travel have characters note that the future is basically set so long as nobody actively tries to change it; in this case, Piper and Leo just need to generally start playing Scrabble at some future date, and eventually one such day will be the day their past selves visit.

* Cole's whole storyline in the fifth season. While demonic powers have been shown to corrupt even the Haliwells in the past, giving the sisters a justifiable reason to be concerned about him going back to evil, how much of what happened to Cole could have been averted if even one of the sisters had been willing to give him a chance to properly atone for the events of the previous season? Add in that everything he did then was because he was possessed by the Source rather than Cole having become the Source on his own, and his death becomes the result of the Haliwells basically suffering from BlackAndWhiteInsanity, finding it easier to condemn Cole as evil rather than accept him as being trapped in a morally grey area.

Edited the entry slightly to make it clearer

** Or he was lying- he was trying to create discord at the time, remember.
** Earlier in the episode, Chris acts a little disturbed when Fake!Phoebe is hitting on him, (this is before he figures out that she's an imposter) and even firmly tells her that "I'm really, REALLY not interested." He was almost certainly lying, though. Note that Fake!Phoebe denies sleeping with him, and given that the other Stillman sisters believed Chris without any evidence in spite of their sister's denial, there wasn't really any reason for him to actually sleep with Fake!Phoebe.

He was almost certainly lying, though.lying about sleeping with her because by then he had figured out she was an impostor and was trying to create discord. Note that Fake!Phoebe denies sleeping with him, and given that the other Stillman sisters believed Chris without any evidence in spite of their sister's denial, there wasn't really any reason for him to actually sleep with Fake!Phoebe.
