In the episode, the Other Universe, Spudnick was killed by Zero, and because of his death, the old universe came unravelled, making it easier for the virus to destroy it. However, it doesn't stop there. In [[WebAnimation/MetaRunner Meta Runner]], one of the copies of Ultra Jump Mania ended up getting confused and eventually crashed itself over the existence of an second Theo in the game. Lucks also took advantage of the game to hack in a version of Theo so he was able to directly communicate with Tari. Knowing this, [[TheDitz Mario himself]] is the main character of [[VideoGame/SuperMario64 Super Mario 64]], which serves as the basis for modern [=SMG4=]'s world. Thus, with all the PaletteSwap Marios running around may have been simply instances of him rather than exact clones, just with different colours and their own control schemes to prevent Mario's universe getting confused! |

This is likely done by the brothers' writing to prevent him from turning the more plot-relevant battles into too many [[CurbStompBattle curb-stomp]] moments and [[MacGyvering him providing ]][[MundaneSolution mundane solutions]], had he kept his pen and therefore, able to summon [[MemeticMutation Ultra-Instinct Shaggy]]. |
