''Axe Murdering with Hackley'' is a HorrorComedy movie by Tim Sanders.

Since TheEighties, Hackley (Allen Hackley) has been the biggest name in slasher murder there's been. On top of the world, Hackley practically set the standard by which all future slashers have been judged.

Today, however? Well...

The genre's gone on so long that Hackley seems to have lost his edge. People know how to counter killers now, and Hackley's murder quota's suffering as a result. Doesn't help that his boss at [=RKS=], El Matador (Trey Huguley), is making him stick to tactics and moves that are the main reason he's having so much trouble. Worse, his main opponent at work, Rival (Justin Habersaat), is able to rake in the killings no problem in spite of those limitations.

Either way, Hackley is determined to make EmployeeOfTheMonth.

The movie was released on May 6th, 2016.

!!''Axe Murdering with Hackley'' contains examples of:
* AffablyEvil: Hackley and his fellow masked killers are a chummy bunch when they're not murdering.
* AnkleDrag: Sometimes, a guy can be seen dragging a human leg by the ankle as they walk by in the office.
* ConfessionCam: Hackley's Vlog.
* DisposingOfABody: Hackley is seen doing this numerous times, throwing a dead body into a dumpster.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The killer's first reaction to anyone making them angry in any way (like one of your coworkers sending a fake email to your mom telling her you're ready to come out of the closet) is to kill them.
* DistractedByTheSexy: [[spoiler:How the female killer manages to avoid being killed by one of the people Hackley brought to [=RKS=] for his murder spree.]]
* EmployeeOfTheMonth: The prize Hackley covets. It's seen being awarded to Rival, and Asparagus.
* {{Expy}}: No prizes for guessing who [[Franchise/FridayThe13th Hackley]] is supposed to be based on.
** Hackley's colleague, Rival, is also clearly Ghostface. He even has posters in his cubicle for "[[Film/{{Scream}} Yell]]".
** There's also the intern Hackley takes on, [[Franchise/{{Saw}} Mitre Saw]].
* ExtremeOmnivore: Asparagus. He's once seen eating a piece of paper out of a photo copier.
** He also claims to have eaten a lot of hamsters, which lands him EmployeeOfTheMonth.
* FlippingTheBird: Hackley and Rival exchange these quite a bit.
* FrightDeathtrap: [[spoiler:How Hackley accidentally kills the sheriff's daughter.]]
* HeadCrushing: [[spoiler:Hackley kills Rival by squeezing his head between his hands until blood gushes out of it.]]
* HeadDesk: One of Hackley's colleagues does this at a meeting when Mitre Saw starts monologuing.
* MaleGaze: The token female slasher at [=RKS=] does this, bending over to pick up a pencil that someone "dropped". This leads to several more falling pencils as a result.
* MalevolentMaskedMen: Hackley and a lot of his coworkers wear various masks.
* MooseAndMapleSyrup: El Matador is Canadian. He wanted to do a Hockey Player motif for his killer outfit, but [[Franchise/FridayThe13th someone else]] beat him to the punch. So he had to slap together the Mexican wrestler thing.
* OffscreenTeleportation: Hackley can do this, being a StockSlasher {{Expy}} of Jason Vorhees. In this day and age, though, people know he can't do this if at least one person keeps an eye on them.
* OldShame: Hackley views a music video he was in from the 80s as this.
* POVCam: In one scene at the start of the film, we see Hackley, from his P.O.V., takes a knife and cut the crusts off of his sandwich.
* RingRingCrunch: Near the start of the movie, we see Hackley take an axe to his alarm clock.
* RiseFromYourGrave: In the prologue, after Hackley is supposedly killed, we see his hand burst out of the ground.
* RustproofBlood: [[DiscussedTrope Disccused]]. In one scene, Hackley states that because blood turns brown when it dries, it tends to look like poop. It also smells, which once cost Hackley a kill because the dried blood smell drove off a couple would-be victims.
* SexSignalsDeath: The killers at [=RKS=] are contractually obligated to kill anyone who isn't a virgin. This can certainly put a damper on their love lives. They even kill each other once this happens.
* ShoutOut: Deciding who to kill and who not to kill is known in [=RKS=] as ''Film/SchindlersList''-ing. You can imagine how awkward that gets when deciding on Jewish victims.
* ShowerScene: The sheriff's daughter is seen doing this [[spoiler:on the night that Hackley comes to kill her]].
* ShearMenace: The female killer at [=RKS=] uses a pair of shears as her weapon.
* SmashCut: Whenever someone gets on Hackley's nerves, the movie cuts to him throwing a dead body into a dumpster.
* StockSlasher: [=RKS=] is staffed with plenty of them.
* TimeSkip: The movie's prologue is stated to happen in 1984-and-a-half. Then it jumps to the Present Day.
* VocalDissonance: The female killer at [=RKS=] has a very deep voice.
