A ''Franchise/{{Halo}}'' and ''Toys/{{Bionicle}}'' crossover story, [[spoiler: and also ''VideoGame/{{XCom}}'', ''VideoGame/{{Destiny}}'', ''VideoGame/{{Doom2016}}'' and ''VideoGame/{{Warframe}}'']], started on January 2, 2016 and written by Boisegang. Taking place several millennium after the end of Bionicle Generation 1 and several months after the end of [[VideoGame/Halo5Guardians Halo 5]], with the crew of the Infinity fleeing Cortana's forces and discovering the Solus Magna system. With this new world being the only chance they may have to fight back against the Created, they have no choice but to attempt to make first contact with the locals. 9[[WMG: This fanfic provides examples of:]]
* AllLovingHero: Mata Nui, of course. [[spoiler:The first action he takes with the crew of the ''Infinity'' is to terraform an uninhbited island to give them some chance of survival, and even tells the Arbiter that there was "no hint of malice" for Roland going to relativistic speeds.]]
* [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership Asskicking Equals Respect]]: Hervex's defeat of Valdek makes [[spoiler: Tuma]] change his mind about her and Sand Tribe Glatorian.
* BackForTheDead: [[spoiler:Kilo-5, Romeo, and Dare appear in "Chapter Seven: Warhawks". To say things go badly for them is an understatement.]]
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: The Skrall. Defeat or best a Skrall, and you can almost immediately be welcomed with open arms.
* CanonWelding: The Great Beings left our galaxy in order to avoid the Flood.
* {{Deconstruction}}: Of crossovers. The crew of the ''Infinity'' can't go to Spherus Magna without sterilizing everything that's going to it's surface, vaccinations are needed for both Humanity and the locals, and they can't understand each other[[note]]unless a Kanohi Rua is used, but the mask needs to have data to base its translations on.[[/note]].
* FanService: Not that kind. There's lots of {{Call Back}}s to Bionicle G1, some old characters return with minor roles, and there's some nods to the 2001-2010 line of toys and their various gimmicks.
* FantasticSlur: "Vorox" or "Zesk" serves as this for the Sand Tribe, mainly because they're no longer bestial or primitive. They look like normal Glatorian or Agori, but with some slight differences.
* FantasticRacism: See the above entry. Also, WordOfGod has it that the "Word of Morak" movement was started during [[GreatOffscreenWar the Exodus War]], with conflicts of interest between both the natives of Spherus Magna and the former inhabitants of the Great Spirit Robot.
* TheMasquerade: The High Turaga have perpetuated this: instead of saying they came from a giant robot, they portray Mata Nui as a god. [[spoiler:Which, considering what Mata Nui has done so far, it's a pretty safe thing.]]
* MeaningfulName: "8593 Midnight Exigent". Most of the chapters tend to have either excerpts from them, or poems as titles.
* NoodleIncident: When Ultia brings Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris to Le-Koro:
-->"They're otherworlders. I think they came from the void-vessel." Ultia holstered her blades, as was customary.
-->"What?" Augmentus's eyes widened. "First it was a Rahkshi. Then it was an Agori of the Iron Tribe. Then it was an Av-Matoran. Now it's sky-people. What's next? You're going to bring the Great Spirit himself here?"
* SarcasmMode: Roland pulls this off in Chapter Four: Unknown Enemies, Unknown Territory:
-->'''Locke:''' “We’ll need a miracle.”\
'''Roland:''' “Yeah, I’m sure we can pray to the local god, maybe sacrifice a small child-matoran-agori-skrall-thing, and we’ll get our miracle.”
* StarfishLanguage: The Matoran language sounds like static.
* WhamEpisode: The last line Chapter Six: Olly Olly Oxen Free:
-->[[spoiler:“Thomas, it’s… it’s been a few million years. Two-point-one-five-three, to be exact.”]]
* TheWorfEffect: The Toa fighting the Prometheans in "Chapter 5: Go Loud, Go Really, Really Loud" could seem like this, but the author wants to avert this.
* TookALevelInBadAss: The Turaga. While in the movies, [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments the most they could do is whack someone with a staff]], in ''To Infinity'', [[spoiler:a Turaga of Psionics forces Warden Eternal to teleport back to where he came from and wipes his memories of Spherus Magna.]]
** [[spoiler:The Warden Eternal. Why? Because he's now TheChessmaster with a XanatosGambit.]]
