Total Television was a Manhattan-based TV animation production company of the 1960s, best known for ''WesternAnimation/{{Underdog}}''. The company was founded in 1959, and operated in close conjunction with another company named Leonardo Productions. It folded in 1969.

Total Television's cartoons, which originally aired on [[SaturdayMorningCartoon Saturday mornings]], were first animated at TV Spots, then animation moved to Gamma Productions/Producciónes Animadas Gamma SA, a Los Angeles/Mexico City studio formerly named Val-Mar that also worked on ''WesternAnimation/RockyAndBullwinkle''.

Head writers W. Watts "Buck" Biggers and Chet Stover, along with art director Joe Harris, came from the Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample advertising agency that handled the General Mills account at the time and [[http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/the-origin-of-the-trix-rabbit/ created the first]] Advertising/TrixRabbit commercials. Unlike the Creator/JayWard cartoons they are often conflated with, Total Television's cartoons tended toward the repetitive and formulaic. Syndication packages would combine Jay Ward and Total Television cartoons willy-nilly, further adding to the confusion.

Regular voice actors included Allen Swift, Delo States, George S. Irving, Kenny Delmar and Sandy Becker.
