3	Ansel Elgort (born March 14, 1994 in New York City, New York) is an American actor, singer, DJ, and {{record producer}}. He is the son of Vogue photographer Arthur Elgort and opera director Grethe Barrett Holby.

5	He's best known for portraying Augustus Waters in the film adaptation of Creator/JohnGreen's ''Literature/TheFaultInOurStars'' opposite Creator/ShaileneWoodley, with whom he also co-starred in the ''The Film/{{Divergent}} Series'' as Caleb Prior. While these films gave him a reputation as a leading teen heartthrob of his time, his appearance in the title role of Creator/EdgarWright's 2017 action comedy ''Film/BabyDriver'' earned him widespread acclaim for his performance and viability as an action star.

7	Some of his other film credits include the 2013 ''Film/{{Carrie\|2013}}'' remake (his acting debut), Creator/JasonReitman's ''Film/MenWomenAndChildren'', a cameo in ''Film/PaperTowns'' (another Green adaptation), and Creator/StevenSpielberg's ''Film/{{West Side Story\|2021}}''.
