E&G Films or Easy Film was a Japanese animation studio, founded in 1971 as Easy World Pro by ex-Toei animator Shiro Murata. In 1988, the company changed to their final name after absorbing and merging photography studio Lucky More (who provided photography services for Anime/GraveOfTheFireflies among others).

E&G was primarily a subcontractor, they spent much of TheEighties working on Creator/RankinBass shows such as WesternAnimation/Thundercats and WesternAnimation/Silverhawks. However, their busiest years would be during TheNineties as they had expanded to thee point where they could be the primary animation studio for TV productions and to help get episodes done on time, E&G established a subsidiary in Indonesia called Bintang Junaka Cartoon Film.

In the 90's, KADOKAWA, Enoki Films, King Records under their anime division, Star Child, now known as King Amusement Creative as of 2016 and Creator/TVTokyo as well as their subsidiary, TV Tokyo Medianet then known as SOFTX became their main clients starting with Manga/GingaSengokuGunyuudenRai in 1994 and led to them producing the first 3 seasons of Literature/Slayers, which was by far E&G's biggest hit.

However despite all this, E&G's productions were always on a smaller scale with low budgets, short delivery times, and strict deadlines (even for two-cour shows) and were often prone to having many instances of OffModel animation, the most infamous example from them being episode 4 of Literature/LostUniverse. And they never made much money off of Slayers or their other productions during this period as most of that money went to their above mentioned clients.

The studio would shut down in 2003 after working on low-budget adaptations of titles like Genma Wars, Wild 7 and Barom One.
