6	The ''Voltron: Legendary Defender'' comics are set between episodes of [[WesternAnimation/VoltronLegendaryDefender the animated series]]. Written by the show writers and published by Lion Forge Comics, they tell episode ideas that couldn't make it into the show.

Volume 1 takes place between episodes 8 and 9 of season 1[[note]]Counting the triple-length series premiere as one episode[[/note]]. Volume 2, titled ''Pilgrimage'' for the trade paperback, takes place between episodes 3 and 4 of season 2. Volume 3, ''Absolution'', takes place between seasons 4 and 5.
