Secret Warriors is a 2017 comic book published by Creator/MarvelComics, written by Creator/MatthewRosenberg with art by Javier Garron and covers by Tradd Moore.

Launching out of ComicBook/InhumansVsXMen under the ComicBook/Resurrxion banner, Secret Warriors is one of the titles shaking up the status quo of the Inhumans, who've seen lots of focus since 2014's ComicBook/Inhumanity. While sister title Royals is focused on the Inhuman Royal Family, Secret Warriors features the "Nu-Humans" of Earth, whose latent Inhuman genes were activated when Terrigen Mist was introduced to Earth's climate.

Inspired by its original namesake, Secret Warriors follows a team of Earth-based Inhumans (original founding member Quake, Ms. Marvel, ComicBook/Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Karnak, and Inferno) who join forces to protect their kind from extinction --after the events of [=IvX=]-- clandestinely.

Tying into ComicBook/SecretEmpire for its opening arc, Daisy forms the new Secret Warriors in light of ComicBook/HYDRA's takeover of UsefulNotes/NewYorkCity by Steve Rogers, who invokes Inhuman POWCamp internment camps that she intends to liberate innocent Inhumans from now that the Royal Family isn't around to intervene.

Along the way, Daisy recruits Ms. Marvel, Moon Girl (with Devil Dinosaur!), and Inferno -- as well as Karnak, a member of the royal Inhumans who opted to stay on Earth when they vacated the planet.

An animated film adaptation loosely based on this version of the team, titled WesternAnimation/MarvelRisingSecretWarriors, debuted in 2018, featuring Quake, Ms. Marvel, and Inferno as members.

----
!! Secret Warriors contains examples of the following tropes:
* AdaptationDistillation: Much like the previous ComicBook/AgentsOfSHIELD comic, the book is largely based on the show's version of the Secret Warriors rather than the earlier group. Daisy is the sole returning member, while instead of being Nick Fury's secret weapon the team is a group of Inhumans formed to protect other Inhumans. Besides that though, Daisy is the only member of the show's team with everyone else AdaptedOut, replaced instead with random Inhumans from the comics.
* BuriedAlive: Quake plans to encase ComicBook/Deadpool in concrete, and doesn't care if his healing factor will keep him alive in there.
* BrokenPedestal: Solicits indicate this will be part of the reason for the team uniting; after Steve Rogers has been victim to a CosmicRetcon that turned him into HYDRA's secret weapon, Daisy and Kamala are shocked into action, due to both holding deep respect for Captain America (Daisy having worked closely with him in the past).
* ButNowIMustGo: After their mission against Mr. Sinister and during their party at Moon Girl's apartment, Magik said she didn't really belong and had to go. But not before stealing most of the cakes there.
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: [[spoiler:Yo-Yo Rodriguez (Slingshot) has apparently been killed by the Wrecking Crew shortly before this series begins, which we see via flashback. It's a surprising development, since Slingshot is currently a prominent character on Series/AgentsOfSHIELD who even had her own spinoff]].
* Expy: Daisy refers to Inferno as the "Inhuman Torch" at one point in the first issue. In the same issue Rictor mocks Daisy with how similar their powers are.
* Irony: As Karnak puts it to Daisy:
--> Karnak: The girl who makes earthquakes want to stop her world from crumbling.
* OvertRendezvous: In the first issue, an in-hiding Daisy gets intel from Agent Coulson on the subway, their backs facing the other's.
* SexForSolace: In issue 10 Quake has sex with Inferno for stress relief, but tells him she is not interested in a boyfriend. This pisses off Ms. Marvel who had a crush on Inferno, who didn't notice. When Inferno realizes this trope is in effect and Daisy isn't interested in a relationship, he storms out.
* SwappedRoles: Now the inhumans are the feared and hated ones hunted by federal policy and the mutants are hidden isolationists in their own country. They refuse to cooperate both because of recent bad blood and how often they were left high and dry under the same circumstances.
* SymbolSwearing: Daisy may be in the company of a literal child, but that doesn't stop her from spewing profanities in conversation -- sometimes at her.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Both Inferno and Daisy are really put out when Magik comes to join them. It turned out that Moon Girl "sort of invited" her and Inferno's big sister was very insistent that they let such a badass help them look for her son. After that Daisy and Inferno still aren't pleased with this, though Kamala and Moon Girl are happy to have someone so useful as part of the team.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Dark Beast is alive again and healthy enough to perform inhumane experiments on Inhumans.
* WhatYouAreInTheDark: Daisy has Deadpool dead to rights and ready to drown him in cement for killing Agent Coulson. However, Lunella jumps in and forces Daisy to choose between killing Deadpool and rescuing Kamala and Inferno from Bullseye.
* WhichMe: A short dialogue lamphades how there are now three distinct versions of Beast running around, a convoluted fact Inferno cites as one of the reasons he dislikes the X-Men.
* WolverinePublicity: This will be the third ongoing book involving Kamala Khan, including her own ongoing title and ComicBook/2016. While those books feature her as TheLeader, here she's TheLancer to Daisy.
* YouKilledMyFather: Daisy tries to kill Deadpool after he killed [[spoiler: Coulson.]]
