[[folder:The Terrahawks]]
!Doctor Tiger Ninestein
''Voiced by Jeremy Hitchen''

The Terrahawks' mysterious cloned leader. Pilots the Battlehawk and the Terrahawk.

* CatchPhrase: "Flaming thunderbolts" and "I have a theory..."
* CloneAngst: He is one of nine clones created by Doctor Stein, and appears to have a few hang-ups over what it means to be human.
* GoodIsNotNice: He may be the hero, but he's not what you would call "pleasant". His first reaction to alien contact was to destroy it, believes the Zeroids should be unthinking, unfeeling drones that blindly follow orders, and bullies Hawkeye for trying to beat the high score on his video game.
* IKnowMortalKombat: In "Space Samurai" his skills playing his favorite video game enable him to shoot down a swarm of missiles before they can destroy the ship he and Hiro in. Irony is while he's an excellent gunner against real threats, he still can't actually win his game no matter how many times he tries.
%%* TheLeader
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: His voice was based on that of Creator/JackNicholson.
* TrademarkFavouriteFood: Crab claw.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Often butts heads with Sergeant Major Zero, mistrusting him and viewing his emotions as both a threat and an annoyance, but at the end of the day, is grateful for his efforts.

!Captain Mary Falconer
''Voice by Denise Bryer''

Ninestein's second-in-command. Pilots the Battlehawk and the Terrahawk.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's the calmest and kindest of the Terrahawks. She also won't hesitate to drive a tank straight over landmines if it's the best way to complete a mission.
* CannotSpitItOut: She clearly has feelings for Ninestein, but they seem to be unrequited for the most part.
* DoesntLikeGuns: If her reluctance to shoot [[spoiler:Mark Darrell]] is any indication.
* TeamMom: Her kind and caring nature towards other teammates puts her in this category. She's especially motherly towards Zero, listening to his stories after completed mission on several occasions and would often stand up for him when he's being berated by Ninestein.

!Captain Kate Kestrel
''Voiced by Anne Ridler (TV series); Beth Chalmers (audio series)''

Pop star by day, and the Terrahawks' AcePilot by night. Pilots the Hawkwing.

* SecretIdentity: Leads a double life as an international pop star.
* SingingVoiceDissonance: Voiced by Anne Ridler, with her songs performed by Moya Griffiths.
* TheOtherDarrin: Her original voice actor, Anne Ridler, passed away in 2011, leading to Beth Chalmers taking over the role for the audio series.

!Lieutenant Hawkeye
''Voiced by Jeremy Hitchen''

Former athlete, and the Hawkwing's gunner.

* TheBigGuy: While not physically that strong, he still fits this role in the group well enough.
* DeadpanSnarker: [[spoiler: When he's captured by Zelda and the androids in the audio drama episode "Timesplit", his response is to snark at them even under the threat of torture.]]
* ElectronicEyes: He lost his eyesight as a child, and has computer-enhanced vision. ([[AllThereInTheManual Not that the TV series ever mentioned it.]])
* FlatCharacter: Hawkeye sadly never developed much as a character, which led to him [[DemotedToExtra all but disappearing]] in later seasons.
* FriendlySniper: He's the Hawkwing's gunner and the go-to Terrahawks marksman, and a really nice guy.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: His real name is Hedley Howard Henderson, but we never hear anyone call him this in the show itself.

!Lieutenant Hiro
''Voiced by Jeremy Hitchen''

The Terrahawks' resident genius. Mans the Spacehawk.

* CompanionCube: The plants dotted throughout Spacehawk, which Hiro has named and regularly talks to.
* JapaneseRanguage: He is Japanese, and has a thick accent. Thankfully dropped in the audio series.
* RobotMaster: Inventor of the Zeroids.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: His are even cybernetically enhanced!
* TeenGenius: He was recruited by the Terrahawks at age 15.

[[folder:The Zeroids]]

! Sergeant Major Zero
''Voiced by Creator/WindsorDavies (TV series); Jeremy Hitchen (audio series)''

Leader of the Zeroids.

* ADayInTheLimelight: "Operation Zero".
* BattleCry: ''"St-roll on!!"'', though on occasion he uses it during a tactical retreat, rather than charging into battle.
* {{Expy}}: Creator/WindsorDavies is more or less reprising his role of Battery Sergeant Williams in ''Series/ItAintHalfHotMum''. The official Gerry Anderson [=YouTube=] channel flat out acknowledges Davies is channeling Battery Sergeant Williams.
* TheOtherDarrin: Played by Jeremy Hitchen in the audio series, Windsor Davis having retired from acting.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Villains]]

!Zelda
''Voiced by Denise Bryer''

The series' main antagonist. A Martian despot who schemes to TakeOverTheWorld.

%%* BigBad
%%* EvilOldFolks
%%* {{Gonk}}
* AmbiguousRobots: While she and other members of her family are referred to as androids, the intro sequence shows her possessing an organic brain which would classify her more as a cyborg. Not to mention her vast array of abilities that seem more like magic than anything derived from science, although it could be possible that ClarkesThirdLaw is in effect.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: As much as she's annoyed by Yung-Star and Cy-Star's antics, she never doles out any harsh punishment towards them, resorting to verbal insults of varying degrees instead...though she truly cares for her family and allies.
** As much of a bumbling, incompetent idiot Yung-Star is, Zelda never punishes or abandons him when he fails his mission, promptly teleporting him back to Mars if he's caught in a tight situation.
** The moment Cy-Star reveals herself to be pregnant in ''Two For The Price Of One'', Zelda promptly helps her with delivery and welcomes It-Star with adoration, becoming a caring and gentle grandmother to the new member of her family.
** In stark contrast to how she insults Yung-Star for his incompetence, she never admonishes her minions for their failure, simply retrieving them and offering them words of comfort upon their return.
* FauxAffablyEvil: While she's capable of being polite and civil during her interactions with others, it's all just a facade she puts on when trying to hide her ulterior motives. The moment she feels she's got the upper hand or gets exposed, she drops the act and reveals herself to be a cackling or raging lunatic.
* HairTriggerTemper: She gets easily irritated by Yung-Star's antics and stupidity. Though, given how incredibly dumb he is, one can't blame her.
* MotiveDecay: She originally wanted to wipe out/enslave humanity because she thought HumansAreBastards. Eventually she devolved into [[CardCarryingVillain openly calling herself evil]].
